 - Additional Items to Note - - The property is pretty rundown in most areas compared to other Marriotts at similar locations.

 - Resort charge is pretty poor value of you don't have kids.
 - but that doesn’t get over poor quality accommodation.
 - I am outraged by their poor customer service.
 - None of the pool serving staff are taking responsibility of any area or sector resulting in poor or non-existent delivery of drinks and/or food.
 - Basically they are running a scheme where they charge you 6 times more for piss poor beer and trying to restrict you from bringing in anything else.

 - Check-in is very slow, I'm still not sure why they are charging a resort fee, they cannot offer all the amenities.
 - however, the check-in process was painfully slow.

 - I mean it is a very very long walk + elevators to get from one room to another.
 - The guests also didn’t wear masks in the elevator, which at times were packed were people.
 - I was placed in a room near the elevators.
 - Masks: they require it in the lobby, elevator or until you sit down at the lobby bar or restaurant.
 - Masks are required in all indoor areas, there is hand sanitizer everywhere, limited numbers of riders on elevators, and plexiglass at the front desk and concierge.

 - A return trip to the airport in a taxi cost about 60 dollars, I pre booked a ride with a company called Cancun Shuttle, they were waiting for us at the arrivals hall.
 - .The halls and my room smell like mildew and gross vitamins.
 - Negatives were the stale smell in hallway and room and that they split our family up between 2 floors.
 - Pretty hotel with VERY room-lined long hall leading away from elevator.
 - The only downside was it felt like housekeeping were constantly stationed outside our room in the hallway, either for daily cleaning and then for turn down services which seemed to be done very late at night.

 - However, we were disappointed that none of the kitchen staff were wearing masks when we went for meals.
 - however they don’t have washcloths and there was no fridge or microwave in the room.
 - I'd accepted that there would be no Wi-Fi, fridge or coffeemaker/kettle in the rooms..
 - On the last morning my wife went down just to have a cup of coffee and she was escorted out of the restaurant and was told we have to pay for breakfasts$80 pesos each.

 - If you like to take money and valuable things and leave them in the rooms, rest assured it will be stolen.
 - My wife was stolen, the manager very very very rude, he told her it was her problem, the room full of mosquitos, we couldn't sleep, the pool terrible, bad bad bad experience, I won't go back, there are better places, they don't care what we think
 - Only one towel per customer--I was told the towels were all stolen so they only allotted one per person.
 - Money gets stolen here by the cleaners.
 - .again indifferent attitude to guest security.

 - We have Telcel Sim card, and we were not able to even use our cell phones.
 - wifi everywhere is very bad even cell service is bad.
 - They steal, the staff tells you they can’t do anything and the manager tells you to call the cops if it bothers you, the rooms aren’t clean, the pool is dirty, the food is basic
 - Check in was slow as only one person and they spent most of the time on the phone.
 - I discovered the phone didn't work when I tried to call and complain about the kids parting and the loud music at 1 am..

 - You were only a reasonable priced taxi-ride away from the Bus terminal (50 pesos), Zona Hotelera (tourist zone) (70 pesos), Ferry Terminal for Isla Mujeres (70 pesos) and Playa Delfines (Cancun's best beach) (200 pesos).

 - opposite a major shopping mall and bus routes to all major locations around the city.supermarket next door and a wonderful coffee shop also adjacent to the Otel.
 -
 - Located in the city, airport is pretty close, to get t the beach - 20-30 mins by bus (bus stop is just around the corner) or 10 mins by taxi.
 - The location was fantastic, as there was an ADO bus stop, supermarket, pharmacy and several restaurants in the same complex!
 - Shopping mall across the road, bus stop across the road.

 - The room is small, no international TV channels, no fridge or safe box in the room, there is an extra charge for breakfast and the windows do not open in the room.
 - On my 2nd stay I even got 2 plastic cups.
 - there is no mini fridge and microwave, Front desk service is average, Suggestion - Try to get a room on top floor to avoid street noise, as well as room facing toward see.
 - Too bad there are no rooms with kitchens!

 - A 15 minute walk due east from the hotel takes you to the bayfront, passing through a coastal wilderness populated by giant lizards.
 - Located in the city, airport is pretty close, to get t the beach - 20-30 mins by bus (bus stop is just around the corner) or 10 mins by taxi.
 - Also, just a 20 minute walk, or a 40 pesos uber ride, there is a good taco place (taco'n madre), really recommend it There is a bus stop just outside the hotel that goes to the beach.
 - Comfortable beds, good view for the bay.
 - Uber picks up here and it's about a 10-15 minute ride ($6 USD, 120 pesos) to a public beach or hotel strip.

 - Waterpressure in the shower is very weak, and very hard to adjust, either the water is boiling hot or very cold.
 - Hot water never fails in the shower.
 - Breakfast that time was dissapointing with lukewarm water for the tea and cold scrambled eggs.
 - I barely have breakfast just went down to have water.
 - No bottled or filtered water - a feature often found even in the more remote corners of the Yucatan - was provided.

 - Rates were very good, the beds are soft.
 - The Breakfast that they offer for the price is really awful quality.
 -
 - Also they give you a discount voucher for a gym (you pay 80 pesos), the gym is 10 minutes walking from the hotel, it’s on the same road so you won’t get lost!

 - The room was a bit smelly (windows cannot be opened) and the bathroom was not properly cleaned.
 - but also as the window was a sealed unit.
 - The room is small, no international TV channels, no fridge or safe box in the room, there is an extra charge for breakfast and the windows do not open in the room.
 - It is a pity that you cannot open windows,
 - We were up pretty early because the curtains don't entirely cover the sun coming in.

 - but many of the restaurants and shops in the mall and surrounding area can be found in the states, which encouraged our group to catch a bus to other parts of the city.
 - On arrival at the hotel one would wonder if you did the correct thing booking there as the surrounding area is drabby with empty and ugly buildings.
 - I hope this could help to become a small opinion about this hotel and surrounding area .

 - I could hear all the mumbling of my neighbor on the phone and we were with the tv on w/regular volume.
 - I can get a little loud people slamming the doors and a little elevator that goes up it’s very scary for me as it only holds two or three people,
 - Fortunately my neighbors 'other' activities didn't last long at all.
 - Surrounding area of the hotel was dirty and many buildings were left empty , looked scary around

 - Close to the shopping mall with various restaurants and Food Court inside.
 - Location is fabulous to me, walking distance to the bus terminal, shopping malls, and the famous The Palapas Park where te local people meet and celebrate the day of death and other holidays.
 - Close to shopping centre and all clinics for covid testing.
 - but the Las Americas mall is just 5 minutes away by walking and there are lots of options here for food and shopping.
 - The Hotel Zone is roughly 250-350 pesos depending if the northern part closer to town or southern part closer to La Isla Shopping area or Playa Delfines to the Cancun Sign.

 - Price was up when check-in.
 - Tests are wayyy cheaper there (less than the U$ 90 from Zona hotelera).
 - Disliked · The security and front desk 'REJECTED' the lab representative (PandaLabs) I contacted and paid in advance for my covid test in order to return to the USA.
 - but a lower price and much newer/nicer amenities+kitchen.
 - Modest hotel in Cancun definitely beats resort prices.

 - The breakfast is very basic, with not too much variety to choose from.
 - There's also natural eggs (w/o salt) available.
 - Breakfast the next day was decent as they had hot buffet options and this was honestly probably the best part of the stay.

 - Well the main reason is the PAPER THIN WALLS.
 - I was here for medical reasons, Then in the bathroom cheep shampoo and no conditioner at all.
 - The only reason I gave a 4 is the bed was too firm.
 - though all of our reservations were guaranteed until midnight with a credit card, one was cancelled without any reason.

 - The hotel never listened to our requests and the housekeeping never cleaned the room and never gave our room the essential items like hand soap.
 - Hotel does not have a drinking fountain, so we asked at the restaurant, and they said we had to pay.
 - Also we didn’t receive requested wake up call on day of our flight.
 - First we requested a room with 2 beds and a balcony, The first room they showed us only had 1 bed.
 - The next morning I asked if the noisy group had left and was told that they did the receptionist asked if we wanted the first room back and we said yes.
