 - While the daytime is fun on vacation, another important part is the food!
 - Honestly if you are looking for a place to take your family on a vacation come here.
 - We loved our 1-week long vacation at Beach Palace Cancun.
 - My opinion, this is a good choice for a family with kids looking for an relatively inexpensive getaway.
 - We went on a family vacation and it was awesome!

 - She is a ray of sunshine.
 - Let me start with the good: Walking distance to fashion harbor mall.
 - We took the bus to the harbor ($1/pp and less than 10min ride).
 - The nearby marina ("Aquaworld"), offers plenty of fun things to do, from snorkeling, to speedboats, to "submarines", to fishing, to scuba diving.

 - We did so based on a weekly rate Leticia had showed us that was significantly lower than what we had paid so we would have broken even after 5 years of going.
 - I had to go to a wine store to pick her up a few bottles (quick taxi ride, concierge negotiated a flat rate for him to take me there and back, and wait while I ran in).
 - They paid the extra costs!
 - Make sure you pay attention to the dress code for restaurants as you don’t want to be turned away.
 - Booked through Costco and paid a higher price for all-inclusive compared to other travel services.

 - Only minor negatives, there are only four small elevators for 14 floors, so you have to be patient at peak times or find stairs.
 - but expect to be caught in elevators, restaurant lines, buffet crowds.
 - N/A
 - Even at the furthest room here, you're maybe 100 steps to the elevator to breakfast, another 100 steps to the pool and 200 more steps to the beach.
 - but what we learned to do was if u were going up and the elevator was going down or vice versa.

 - Most beautiful wedding overlooking the ocean.
 - Our drawback to this amazing hotel was the wedding planning.
 - The staff was amazing which made our wedding amazing!
 - but the wedding stuff was great and also miguel de roof top bartender deserves a raise.
 - Our wedding planner Rebeca Jara (assigned to us by the resort) was awesome!

 - Great food, great facilities, clubs for kids of all ages all the time.
 - Family friendly, plenty of activities and a variety of food for picky children.
 - We went to Club Med Cancun Yucatan for Spring Break with a familiy of 14, including adults, young kids and teenagers.
 - We have been going to Club Med Cancun for many many years as a family with 3 boys.
 - Kids clubs are awesome.

 - Those incredible ocean views, delicious food and drinks, and ample activities such as kayaking, trapeze, tennis, snorkeling, and more, made for the best vacation we've had in years.
 - The shows were great and the food was very good, including 2 delicious BBQs at lunchtime.
 - The food is delicious.
 - Food at all restaurants was lovely, often with young kids the buffet was much better timewise, the a la carte restaurants seemed a bit chaotic seevice-wise.
 - Which it remind me of the delicious food there.

 - We missed two nights because we ventured into Playa del Carmen and took a ferry over to Cozumel which got us back late.
 - The Beach Boys Carmen and Daniel where great and fun to hang out with.
 - even though for two of our three days diving, we had a 45 minute commute to Playa del Carmen, in order to start our expeditions to Cozumel and a cenote.
 - Ok, so Phocea is based out of Playa del Carmen,
 - The location stretching out onto the peninsula in the Caribbean gives three water aspects to the sea or lagoons and semi isolation from the wall of new hotels along Playa del Carmen.

 - This was one of our best club med experiences thus far, and the tennis drills and private lessons contributed greatly to our positive experience.
 - If you are going to allow special events to impact standard GM experience, you must at least post this in advance and give us the opportunity to change our plans.

 - We missed two nights because we ventured into Playa del Carmen and took a ferry over to Cozumel which got us back late.
 - The beach was in great shape and there was really no problem with the sargassum that I had heard has been plaguing Playa del Carment and Cancun.
 - The hotel was beautiful, the ocean was clear (unlike in Playa), and the activities were bountiful.
 - We needed a taxi to take to Playa Tortugas and the kinda ladies in reception made it happen.
 - Ok, so Phocea is based out of Playa del Carmen,

 - Our stay in the Jade Exclusive Collection was the vacation of our dreams.
 - We went to Club Med Cancun Yucatan for Spring Break with a familiy of 14, including adults, young kids and teenagers.
 - It's a good place to go for an escapist holiday if you're not that interested in Mexico itself.
 - This mother-daughter escape into the sun was the healthiest, happiest vacation we've ever done together.

 - Aqua marina, the staff (Go's) friendly , and attentive.
 - The entire trip feels like it’s your own private charter where you are a valued guest on a luxury yacht.
 - Special shout-out to Ryan, the Agua Marina manager, who is extremely present and helpful.
 - The team at the Acqua Marina bar, including the waitress that was always serving us by the pool.
 - It was the best snorkeling I've ever seen with rays, octopus, eel's, turtles and every reef fish you can imagine.

 - One thing that stood out to me was that our room smelled very musty which is probably something that just comes with being so close to the water and a very humid environment.
 - The one complaint I have is that people there smoke a lot.
 - but the smell was not.
 - The general feeling of the room is disgusting.
 - The low point was the 20-30 rowdy Americans drinking booze, smoking cigars and playing loud music next to the kids pool.

 - Entertainment was awesome and the beach is beautiful and clean.
 - We enjoyed the entertainment each evening.
 - If Sevice, food, entertainment, dining options and over all wow is important to you… you will fall in love with Zilara.
 - Nightly live entertainment and daily activities at the pool, including my favorite, just chilling in a cabana.
 - If you like the Las Vegas quality shows, their evening shows will not disappoint.

 - Marisol Alonso (Event Planning Coordinator), Jose' (Pepe) Hernandez (Fitness Instructor) and Alina, Jesus, & Enrique, who services hundreds of guests in the delicious coffee shop Casa del Cafe.
 - Plus, fun fact, the Hyatt Zilara is where certain parts of the movie “Barb & Starr Go to Vista Del Mar” was filmed!
 - Shout out to Eduardo and Enrique at La Casa Del Cafe - they are some of the friendliest professionals ever!
 - The Great: Enrique in the Casa Del Cafe.

 - DRINKS ARE NOT WATERED DOWN… The only thing I didn’t like is that you need to pay $6 dollars for Red Bull.
 - The beach area is very nice with what seem to be some free cabanas with lounge chairs and some that you pay either $35 or ~$180 a day depending on whether you want bottle service (ala Vegas).
 - I calmly explained that I wished to be placed in a room for which I had selected and paid.
 - A little expensive during peak season
 - The only negative we didn't like was the continued upselling in the restaurants beyond the all-inclusive price for better wine and lobster.

 - We stayed at Paradisus Playa del Carmen in 2019 and we enjoyed our stay there
 - They asked me to get a $150 day pass, as we spent 3 days at the Grand Hyatt in Playa and therefore this was a new reservation.
 - We also went on a “Mayan adventure” to snorkel in playa de Carmen.
 - Unlike the Riviera or Playa Mujeres the beach is clean and clear of seaweed.
 - This was our first time at this resort, we have stayed at the Hilton in Playa and Zilara did not disappoint.

 - We also did a couples massage done by brenda and maria it was the best massage we have ever had!
 - The spa was nice,
 - but went out of his way to help book an awesome couples relaxation massage and followed through on it the next day to make sure we were happy.
 - Bertha took great care of us in the steam rooms, as she did last year, making our stay before and after massage a great relaxing time.
 - Otherwise, check out their otherworldly spa, which was the most relaxing experience!
