Beautiful beach and plenty of activities for everyone daily.

In addition, an absolutely amazing/beautiful beach right out front.

The beach was great with cool white sand.

The beach bar with the swings was so cute!

The beach is unlike any beach I’ve ever experienced, and the ocean was absolutely beautiful, and swimmable.

During our first two days— we were optimistic and wanted to turn our frown upside down and enjoy the beach and the sun—

The location was right in the middle of the hotel zone and the beach was wonderful!

This time we stayed in a corner room with ocean front view and a view of down the beach.

The taco place at the beach was also delicious.

The best restaurant in my opinion was the taco cafe on the beach!

There were daily activities, I especially loved playing beach volleyball everyday and the fitness classes.

Our son did not want to leave the kids club and we were able to enjoy ourselves at the beach.

My two daughters went for a massage 100US each and they said it was just ok.

With three kids that was usually an issue.

however in the meantime she still admitted a few more kids that walked in after we did.

A lot of children  everywhere, which we didn’t mind

It hit on all points for us and our kids.

You reached out to my kids and got them involved in all of the activities and they had the best vacation.

We chose this location for the water park because of our 5 year old child.

We paid $50 a person for a subpar meal which included kids over 12 and they didn’t even allow us to choose our meals.

I have a toddler with life threatening allergies to dairy, eggs and peanuts and the restaurants all accommodated this and made her food safe.

And an ice cream/candy shop for the kids to feel spoiled with treats!

I counted maybe 5-7 childless couples; everyone else had kids, which makes this place perfect for families.

My college age kids liked the buffet because of the choices.

The Shows were all ok. Lots of kids around.

We even saw a baby sea turtle heading to the ocean and across the street is a crocidile hanging out in the lagoon.

Almost all of them save for a few at night were for drop in kids 4 and over.

In addition, there are 3 restaurants, Italian, Mexican and continental.

The Mexican and Italian restaurants were my favorites.

The girl who was working told me to return next day as they were having tons of activities for the kids and the theme was Mexican so they would be making piñatas.

Or have someone who is well versed in the cuisine to oversee the different restaurants - an American option, Mexican, Italian, etc.

but I have had much better tasting Mexican foods in my hometown in Texas!

We especially loved the steak and seafood restaurant and the Mexican place.

The food was good, my favorite was the Mexican Resturant onsite they had the best Almond Chicken Mole.

but nothing special save for the Mexican restaurant and the grill at lunch buffet.

In addition, there are 4x other restaurants (Mexican, Asian, Italian and grill) and 2-3 pop-up stands (grill, hotdog/burger, tacos), as well as a sweets/dessert shop.

The fish at the Mexican restaurant, the bruschetta at the Italian restaurant and the chilaquiles at both morning buffets were the only thing that was really, really good.

We are coming to experience the Mexican kitchen as we always do in Cabo San Lucas.

At Azul - you will very much enjoy Asian and Mexican mixed on each dish.

*You also won’t be able to find guacamole except at the Mexican restaurant.

Dinner at the Mexican Restaurant was delightful!

He was very informative about Mexican food and culture.

Service was spot on.Special shout out to Luis at Azul and Melchor at the Mexican restaurant for service above and beyond.

We also ate at the Mexican restaurant which was lovely and food was good.

Honestly I would rate this a 4.7 out of 5 staff was amazing hotel was amazing

I am half Mexican so for me it was easy to get around me and my wife left the hotel zone and went into the inner city and had a blast.

The food is very good, particularly at the Mexican restaurant and from the beach side taco stand.

Special shout out to the Ladies at the kids club - Ana, Alex, Rubi, Viri, Danna, Janna and Ali.

Magic shows, karaoke, live music, sports, yoga, friendly competitions, variety shows, etc etc.

The room TV - was a good size, worked great and I was able to easily connect and use my Roku so I could utilize my own TV entertainment.

And really appreciated the special New Years Eve celebrations including the entertainment and fireworks!! !

Our kids loved the magic show which included a gift with tricks to take home!

Overall great place to stay , worth the money for the all inclusive, very friendly staff and good entertainment- so I would give it a 5 star.

We visited 6 rooms and found all sofas to be in various stages of soilage.

.we ask that the AFTERNOON BINGO be brought back.

They had a couple of shows that got cancelled because of the weather.

The entertainment team especially won our hearts.

The different shows were also a lot of fun.

There's casino night too, very entertaining host!

Entertainment and shows in the evenings were very good.

The entertainment team by the poolside was amazing.

As a result, we missed the 8:00 PM beach show that we were all eagerly anticipating.

We also wanted to take the time to recognize the entertainment team (Christian, Alonso, Benga, Alexia, Luis, Andrea, Mariner) at the main pool, especially Christian who we chatted quite bit with throughout the week.

The staff, from cleaning to bar, entertainment, lifeguards and kitchen, everyone was  incredible, always going out of their way to make our kids smile.

* You can book excursions on site if you want to visit any local attractions such as Xcaret, Xel-Ha etc.

The A/C is LOUD - we only left it on during the day as at night it will keep you up

Final note: it was a great vacation for us as we ventured outside the resort to go to Xcaret / mall / other parts of Cancun and just relaxed in the sun and enjoyed the ocean when we could.

This was great because we didn't have to go out of the hotel looking for Tour agencies to go to Xcaret or Xelha.

It was right on the beach with an amazing view.

The beach and food and services were all very good.

The sand and beach is kept extremely clean.

The hotel has a great white beach with no sargassum.

On a good note, the beach remains beautiful.

Excellent beach, great diving with Scuba Du on site, great snorkeling on site, pretty pool, good restaurants on site, incredibly clean & well maintained, large nice rooms, great service in every way, only 5 min cab to town.

The staff are so nice, the beach is perfect.

The hotel is lovely and the beach is beautiful.

I was pleased to find two pools and an okay beach (it's on the lagoon side which isn't as nice as the ocean side in my opinion).

We looked for a place where we could rent a couple of chairs for the day and enjoy the beach and ocean.

I also Facebook messaged them and no response.. Mexico is one of my favorite countries to travel too, for me is their fast wonderful service, that’s why I’m disappointed.. on the positive side, the hotel is clean, the staff is kind and the beach is well taking care off..

the bar sits right across the beach is just a great way to spend the day.

This hotel is beautiful and pristine with two pools and its own private beach with turquoise ocean and white sand.

Lovely beach and pool areas with plenty of sun beds.

After being on the road and travelling fast paced for two weeks it was nice to relax on the private beach away from the hustle and bustle of Cancún.

The beach is very wide at this point with many palapas to sit in the shade and waiters attending from Le Cap beach bar.

The hotel beach is very clean and the water is very clear, there’s a perfect snorkeling area on site as well.

The resort itself is right on the beach with service available to you on the sand if you wish.

The section of the beach that the hotel has access to is extremely nice and I’m sure that this is the reason that most visitors to Cancun are there for.

The wait staff at the restaurants and at the beach were all very nice and attentive  

The real gem of the hotel is the pool and beach areas - 2 large swimming pools and probably the best piece of beach in the Hotel Zone.

The best feature of the hotel is the beach.

They have an activities area with jet skis you can rent right at the hotel beach.

The part of the beach that the hotel has is by far the widest, cleanest and quietest, we didn’t feel like we were in the usual madness/party atmosphere of Cancun which really suited us.

I absolutely recommend this hotel because of the beach (the best in Cancun), excellent food and outstanding service (specially Victor in the beach area).

The best thing of this hotel is the beach with super soft sand and incredible ocean view.

I love the whole layout and set up of the Hotel and the beach and pool are superb.

but overall the Hotel's beach is a beautiful exception to the majority of Cancun beaches.

The club lounge wasn’t of IHG usual standards.

The club lounge was fairly large with plenty of indoor and outside seating.

Mariano was excellent in the Club Lounge.

The room also comes with access to the ground floor club lounge, where they serve a breakfast buffet every morning and snacks, drinks and desserts in the evenings to those who booked an eligible room type.

(Big thanks to Ganzalo and Jeremy at the beach bar, Alberto and Antonio at Le Cap, Francisco at the lobby bar, and the team in the Club Lounge who made breakfast a consistently good day starter.)

Great pool area, small kids club… the club lounge was great for evening drinks and breakfast.

We always get the club lounge and a room with an outdoor shower(completely private) which is on the M floor not the 11th.

We had access to the Club Lounge and definitely was worth the extra price.

Francisco, who is the bar tender and works in the Club Lounge provided excellent customer service!

This led towards the reception and club lounge.

Due to covid restrictions, a number of amenities are still closed down—gym, 2 other restaurants, the club lounge, and a suite tower.

Breakfast and Happy Hour at The Club Lounge was always great..

This year we were especially impressed with Carlos and Gustavo from the Club Lounge, they remembered us and the customer service was the best!

Everyone working the IHG desk and the club lounge was more than friendly and helpful.

Humberto Santos was very helpful to us several times and the service in the beach bar, restaurants, and club lounge was A+.

We took the club lounge and was no disappointment, the margaritas were great.

The Club lounge on the first floor hosted a continental breakfast in the lobby area, and happy hour drinks and buffet from 6 pm.

Breakfast in the club lounge was a huge buffet of eggs, pastries, fruits, sausage bacon, veggies, juices, coffee, tea.

Check In: I'm Spire/Ambassador and this was not recognized at all outside of a $20 F&B credit.

Next, they don’t understand how to merge reservations, (every hotel gets this) today I set my key card 5x, and that’s a normal day.. I’m a IHG credit card holder, and I have my card linked to my room

I stayed at the InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort in the Cancun Hotel Zone and the rep at the from desk that attended me during check-in, Shirley, would not give me a logical explanation as to why there were additional charges at the time of check-in.

I got the invoice and emailed the Presidente hotel requesting information that proved my original reservation had been canceled to no avail.

but they wanted to charge us extra for a 6th floor, equally smelly room.

however, you pay for food and drinks in addition to your room charge.

Another (very helpful) receptionist advised that I can pay in usd or peso, and that the already charged first night can be deducted from the remaining balance.

One thing to note is that you will need to pay with cash or with credit card for food and beverage at the pool and beach areas until you are officially assigned a room #.

Staff here were very unhelpful and was overcharged at check out and they didnt not honor it.

Their offer was to take me out of my suite on the 6th floor on the Club Level and to put me on the 1st floor on their other wing and charge me 200 a night for the next 10 days and for me to use room service for every meal and run up my bill on their mediocre food, no thank you!

Credit card machine didn't work, key card machine didn't work.

4) They charged my card twice, then tried to tell me that they couldn't cancel the first charge.

I reserved with a 50 dollar credit per night,

If you are like us, this is the reason why we have chosen to get the IHG credit card and are willing to pay an annual fee.

but it did have two queen beds they did not automatically upgrade us because we had originally asked for a king bed but the king bed had no view at all and was on the very first floor, so we did take the upgrade for no charge to the fifth floor with a lagoon view.

Def remind them about the $20 F&B credit to your folio

A complete disaster,
 I am not received suitcases, they do not recognize me as a member, they do not give me good prices or clothes in the laundry, they wanted to charge me for things that I did not consume.

Charged "resort fee" on top of the price.

but four days after we've checked out, my friend still has a charge for $400 on his card.

At check out, there were no surprises or extra charges.

Also the seaweed that washes to the beach smells horrible and I got I respiratory infección ,  from that or the pool not very clean .

Unfortunately the cons are also significant: the damp room and poor noise-insulation.

Rooms smells really bad of mold -obviously because there is mold everywhere see my photos ) broken switches , dirty and moldy shower , breakfast has old bread and no selection at all, your
Restaurants are very expensive and for a family of 6 it’s usually around $200 without alcohol!!

Disgusting damp smell in the room and hallway - we kept windows open daytime (mosquitoes at night).

but that wouldn’t help since the smell came from the other side of the door.

they did not clean the seaweed on the beach and the whole beach & pool area stinks after 2 days of decaying under the sun.

.The halls and my room smell like mildew and gross vitamins.

Original room smelled of mould, air con left the room full of condensation and  extremely cold  unkess turned off entirely.

-water in the room from the faucet smells like sewage, very unpleasant to brush teeth or take a shower.

first step into 3rd floor rooms had an asthma attack from mildew.

My wife and I got married in this hotel on 9/3/2011 so don't hold that against me on my review :) ; We have been going back at least once per year, some times twice if we can, if you are looking for the all inclusive cheap booze and nasty food?

Humid and smelly rooms, no cleaning because of the COVID, waiting all the time everywhere you go, mandatory fighting for a chair on the beach.

Other than that you find there also a tube of Aloe Vera in it in case you get a sun burn.

but the smell was a bit odd in our opinion.

Negatives were the stale smell in hallway and room and that they split our family up between 2 floors.

However, this is overshadowed by the fact that smoking is allowed throughout the resort.

This is disgusting behavior and completely unacceptable.

Bus stop just outside the hotel for getting up or down the strip, bargin at $1 a trip, any distance.

We went to the strip where the night life is, by Coco Bongo, for dinner which was minimally less expensive

It was served with a side of steak strips, very yummy that I ordered it twice during my stay.

but also the fact that is the very first big property on this stretch of the shoreline - so you have only one big building to your east and going west there are only nice residential villas so no crowds and the beach is actually really big compared to other short strips along the coast at the next door hotels.

I especially liked the presentation of donuts on pegs and bacon strips hanging.

This hotel is so central that u can actually walk to the strip.

Great location around 5/10 minutes walk to the main strip within the hotel zone,

It is on the best strip of beach in Cancun.

The sand at this location is some of the best along the entire strip of hotels.

This beach location was very calm, running east west avoiding the typical onshore wind and large waves on the other side of the strip.

The location is pretty idyllic, at the end of the hotel strip kind of.

Good staff, decent rooms and location is fairly Central and walking distance to the main strip.

The hotel is a short walk or even shorter bus ride from the ferry locations to visit Isla De mujeres and restaurants and touristy stuff along the strip.

The beach is arguably the prettiest on the strip.

The good: Resort was on a fantastic strip of beach - loved the outdoor areas.

LOCATION - Great location, 15/20 minute walk to the main strip of Cancun where there are plenty of restaurants, entertainment and night clubs. Negatives

now I really wished I stayed less here and more in Playa Del Carmen especially as our hotel was near 5th Avenue where the main strip of shops, malls, bars, restaurants and beach were.

We really wanted to travel to Xcaret park and Xoximilco from Xcaret Group.

but decided to come here so we could justify leaving the hotel and explore Playa Del Carmen and Xcaret.

The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from Base Xcaret and the mercado.

The breakfast buffet is extensive in options and good quality, and operates from 6.30am - perfect for those doing the (brilliantly-organised and wholly-recommended) day trips by Experiencias Xcaret, since their daily pick-up time from the hotel is 7.05am.

The resort is beautiful, the beach is stunning and the warm pool is just what you need.

I STRONGLY SUGGEST that when you get there if you want GREAT service at the pool or beach you look for Alex!

We had a great time staying at this resort
Pros: 
-They have an army of staff working and very friendly
-we hardly had to wait in line for any service
-the dinner reservation restaurants were nice and even let us go in sooner than the time that we had reserved
-amenities and food options are very good

Cons:
- they dont have a long beach where you can go for long walks.

If I remember correctly, the beach sun was not an issue.

Impeccable service, diverse dining options, and a stunning beachfront.

The only good thing about this resort is the layout of the pool and close access to the beach.

Excellent restaurants, beaches, pools, and that wonderful worry free all-inclusive experience.

Cancún has great white sand beach - that’s the only positive we’ve found.

The beach was nice, the water was choppy not as calm as Hawaii or Punta Cana.
