The white sand beach has all options, enough chairs/towels/amenities whether you wanted to lay back (me and my wife) or do jet-ski/kayaking and other water sports(the kids did).

Hotel is totally renovated within the past few months and has great beach.

The beach is very nice and the water is mostly calm (for which reason we booked this hotel).

The 3 pools were great, and the beach was lovely, with soft white sand.

but 2 are during the afternoon, so mayhem in the bars of the evening luckily we found a nice little beech bar down the road to avoid the chaos.

Beach is great, water is clear, lots of chairs.

Excellent 2 week stay in Riu Caribe, Great location at beach and near centre hotel zone.

The beach is beautiful, and did not struggle for sunbeds at all the whole time we were there.

Location was really perfect, beautiful beach very close to promenade and shopping center by Hyatt hotel and Coco Bongo night club.

The beach itself was very nice with many beach loungers.

Rui caribe is a very nice hotel the staff were extremely friendly & helpful pools were lovely & so was the beach … the food wasn’t great

I found it safe to go out the hotel catch the bus to Liverpool shopping centre.

I would definitely recommend the Thai restaurant, located in the Liverpool shopping centre, the setting is just stunning - pods on stilts overlooking the lagoon, mood lighting, snuggle sofa, excellent food and great service.

but was an great experience (we booked with the reps at hotel, tui) 10 minute bus ride from the Liverpool shopping centre, with all your high end shops, like Gucci, Rolex & Dior etc.. We done the dolphin experience with tui, 200$ but was amazing, worth the money and I would do it again.

Great variety of shops, bars- Liverpool shopping complex is amazing and well worth a trip out to see.

We also got the bus up to the big liverpool shopping centre.

The bus stops are directly outside your front door
If you go right you can go as far as Walmart and C & A, don’t go any further as you put yourself at risk
If you go left you can go as far as either Coco bongo or the next set of shopping is the Liverpool centre
A taxi is dearer
Your hotel will offer you trips

but  this while what I am getting is disgusting hot dogs?

3 places to smoke, if your a smoker  which are not adequate for hotel this size.

The middle pool is a pool bar where people were just drinking until they couldn't stand up, smoking in the pool, and we even saw someone taking substances.

If you’re a smoker, I would strongly advise against this hotel.

Our room did smell of sulphur on occasions and the fan does make a noise which you can't switch off so some light sleepers may struggle.

There are staff raking that up each morning and it’s nothing like smelly seaweed and didn’t deter anyone swimming in the sea.

First off the rooms had a horrible mold/mildew smell that was making me feel sick, our rooms were NEVER cleaned unless we requested on the app and even so no fresh towels brought / toilet paper refills.

Areas for improvement: 
We saw many people smoking throughout the resort in undesignated areas, which we found very annoying.

The rooms were a bit dated and the bathrooms could have been cleaner, there was black mold in ours.

Day we checked in, the room had pillows and bed that were giving off a stinking smell, same with curtains

but of course people had to ruin it by leaving their garbage behind, we found broken glass, straws and cigarettes :/ Food was very poor, only friuts and vegetables were great also staff was very helpfull and nice.

even though u tell them constantly you don’t smoke not a very good way to welcome holiday makers absolutely disgraceful behaviour

No air in room bathrooms, insufficient room lighting, red stained mirrors, pee on the side of the toilets.

Our friends had trouble with electrics on floor 9, blowing lights, hair dryers ect…fuse box looked old and looked like required maintenance, this happened after rain, so probably water in the electrics, they had to sleep with no lights or electric, with a smell of burning, was not resolved until next day, their last day.

Everybody smokes, everybody is loud and inconsiderate of others having a relaxing time.

We honestly don’t have one single complaint, the staff couldn’t do enough for you, the room was clean, the food and restaurants were delicious, staff were attentive, beach beautiful and the cocktails were to die for.

Beautiful hotel, on the beach on the hotel strip in Cancun.

There are plenty of pool and beach chairs and the waiters keep drinks coming and serve lunch around the pool and beach.

Examples were repeatedly using the main pool and hot tub to rinse off sand from the beach including flip flops and sandals.

The beach and rooms were very clean and felt very relaxing.

Gael and Rafael even remembered us from our last stay 4 years ago.

The Beach Palace is a more intimate hotel location, with beautiful ocean and beach views.

The rooms were nice, the beach was gorgeous, the meals were delicious, and the service was warm and accommodating.

It earns its title from the beautiful beach it sits on.

Weather was fantastic all week, beach very nice and clean.

After coming back from the beach, we were severely inconvenienced by not being able to wash our hands and shower.

Jesus, Alfredo, and Bernabe at the beach were extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed each day - it was so nice getting to know them over the week.

He was so nice and attentive and was such a fun addition to the beach!

We brought 12 people to celebrate thanksgiving at beach place.

I have been to Beach many times and keep going back because of the service.

But, just a few we got to know this trip: Ajelina, Jesus, Alfredo, Tiana, and Barnabe (beach servers and beach concierge), all of whom were incredibly nice and a couple of whom, figured out I am a beer drinker and started bringing several in a chiller without even being asked.

The only thing I would say which is not the hotels fault is, that I would make sure my room didn’t end in 08, 10 or 12 as it’s next the the elevator and can be noisy late at night or/and early in the morning.

Barging into the elevator before those arriving have had a chance to get off.

The biggest complaint I heard was the elevators.

Areas for improvement:

The elevator situation is REAL slow.

2 out of 4 elevators are broken at all times.

The elevators are dirty and just plain  worn out.

The lights went out on us on the elevator!

The only thing that really needs attention right away is the elevators.

Because this is a tall hotel style building, we found the hallway to be quite loud when trying to sleep, especially since our room was directly in front of an elevator.

The hotel downside is the elevators and ensuing wait times.

Moving around the building is somewhat difficult as stairways are closed, elevators get packed up and take long time.

Elevators are a nightmare, it was small and constantly passing floors.

The entire 7days involved elevator issues.

Only minor negatives, there are only four small elevators for 14 floors, so you have to be patient at peak times or find stairs.

but expect to be caught in elevators, restaurant lines, buffet crowds.

but others a real miss)
-the towel game is exhausting (I don’t blame anyone who wants a chair, but the hotel needs to move towels and stuff if people are holding places at both the beach and pool for hours while they eat breakfast and get manicures)
- the elevators are small and they take quite a while

Even at the furthest room here, you're maybe 100 steps to the elevator to breakfast, another 100 steps to the pool and 200 more steps to the beach.

but what we learned to do was if u were going up and the elevator was going down or vice versa.

Fortunately her understanding of my Liverpool accent was better than my Spanish.

It is great for families as it has nice pools and a quiet beach as well as a lot of extra activities (tennis, volleyball, games, kids club). If you are looking for a beach with waves, this is not your place as it is on a bay (which is good for paddle boarding, kayaking)

Not a full beach view and lots of inconveniences.

So far we’ve had a buffet meal on the beach front restaurant, and caught up on some much needed sleep.

The structure has everything you need from restaurants, mini market,beach and pools.

From the Activity Center, Carlos Balam, Alejondo Ku and Paulina offer activities from kayak tours, aqua fit and beach volleyball.

The pool, the beach were great and so was the staff.

Villas in the middle of the resort, as close to the beach as possible, are your best bet.

We had a walk-out beachfront villa, and being able to just walk to the beach from our patio was very nice.

although I wish "Sippin & Dippin" the beach bar was open later, to say 9:00p.m.

The beach and restaurant service is excellent.

The beach is large enough so you are not overcrowded.

There is a shuttle that runs multiple times daily between this resort and its sister resort - the Royal Sands, so you have even more options for dining and pools and beach.

The music blarring from the pool area of that resort ruined the peace and quiet we used to enjoy on the beach at the Royal Cancun.

The resort is on the bay which is much calmer than the open ocean.

My favorite activity has always been sailing Beach boats.

We asked for a room change and they wanted to charge extra.

PROS: large rooms and very clean, no waves on the beach if you have small children, friendly staff CONS: Very limited food options that get old quickly, you have to carry and swipe your room card for everything making it a nuisance to order food or drinks.

From bingo, dancing, cards, ping pong to water sports and bicycling.

but if it is a Credit card, money comes back to you five days after you checked out and too late for a claim if there was a mistake.

The charity charges can be taken off your bill.

Let's just somehow show us a list on how much things will cost because not everyone is made of money just because we pay for a trip does not mean we have the funds available. .

There is a small charge added to your bill for some of the more expensive and elaborate meals.

Use credit cards without a foreign transaction fee.

After booking months ahead of time, they put my rooms apart not together.. not mentioning that the front desk guy had me waiting 1 hour to check in without helping me at all … 
And then at check out time they charge me $28 dollars for each day I stay for the cleaning service …
Ridiculous because it should be free as we paid $2500 for 4 nights 5 days and did not include food or anything… worse experience ever .

though every night a different "theme" was offered, the variety of food served was limited. After gambling on ordering a surcharged steak, the quality didn't justify the charge, so we mainly stuck to the contemporary american food on the menu whose preparation was less likely to get us ill.(i always worry about badly prepared meats ruining our vacations.)

but then were charged an exchange rate upon checking out!

but the guy who was in charge of rental of paddle board was extremely rude.

At that point with the prospect of having our family stranded during spring break, I had to cave in and add another 600 dollar charge.

Once they can charge you for something, they seem to perk up.

but the timing was very coincidental and the credit card is not on file with any company to have been stolen via a cybersecurity breach.

I've been overcharged more than a thousand dollars and the hotel is zero help resolving the issue.

I feel the least they could have done was reimburse me for the $1,700.00 I was charged at check in, that would have been honorable and providing good customer service!

but now things are old and charges are maxed with bad customer service.

The staff from the bell boys to the Manager were very helpful- a big thank you to the manager for all her assistance in  confirming covid requirements with our airline on return- a big thank you ma’am

Karina as part of the sales team was fabulous- a big thank you for fixing the sports bar at Royal Sands to see Liverpool beat Benfica in the first leg of champions league!

Day one, the toilet was clogged, the room had no remote for the tv, and no towels in the room.

If you want to use their restaurants and other amenities you have to make a reservation every time, it gets really inconvenient.

We all paid $400-$600 a night so I honestly expected more, now our ceiling is leaking in our room!

The bathroom faucets were weak and none of them would easily clog so water takes time so go down (found this common even in CDMX hotel we were at).

Day 3:  our room got flooded while I was taking a shower.

I stayed for 12 days and only complaint is they have no AC in the Restrooms or hallways bathrooms feel like a sauna not the bedroom Bathrooms

We stayed at the Sens tower and our room was very outdated with lots of mold in the bathroom, also in the curtains, they were super dirty.

first thing when i got here i took a shower and the drain was plugged.

2nd room much better #2443 great view and no musty smell or leaks!

I found out they reuse their cups for drinks and just wash them in the sink, don't even sanitize or use dishwasher - GROSS!!

but still very expensive) 
The resort also has a spa and we paid extra to have massages and use hot bubble baths in a private area.

The windows were leaking water from the rain.

Although the first room that I received the shower was leaking the manager Andrea made herself available and switched my room to an upgrade with no charge due to the inconvenience.

Our room had low water pressure and a funky smell.

-Staff was extremely rude, from the security to the person who hands out the beach towels.

The swimming area at the beach has a sewer smell and lots of seaweed floating around!

The beach was calm and fairly seaweed free, perfect for kids.

Friendly staff, more adult sections and activities, the beach was actually a beach and not a lagoon and it was obvious the patrons were not just local,

The amenities were also excellent the pools and the beach are so clean and beautiful.

The restaurants are good and the beach was nice.

Customer service/ Andrea Perel, Monica Samame and Leydi Rosado was excellent in a speedy check-in.

Pools and beach - get your towels and get out on the beach by 8:00am if you want any chance of getting a chair.

Day 4 was the start of demolition work of the sea food restaurant - this is located at the pool / beach side.

Hervin was also really helpful and used to bring us drinks at the beach everyday!

Best drinks in the hotel, the beach is clear and beautiful the vibe at the pool is good! !

If you are bored go talk to Serena at the beach and she will suggest something fun to do.

Beach area and pools are very nice, didn’t have a problem finding a good spot if went there early.

Pizza restaurant is lovely with no Q. Burgers hotdogs and chips on beach really nice kids went there a lot!

Had a fantastic holiday with my family kids 20, 14 and 7, Rooms great, My husband and my 20 yr old brought a large beaker and the staff were more than happy to fill it up, In the sports bar the staff were so friendly even put the Liverpool match on for my son, Loved los agaves, Food and service is fab.

Cinema, money exchange, big Supermarket, Liverpool, Sears etc.

-bar stations had only one person serving and of course 30+ min wait times
-roaches in the rooms, old and broken furniture.

Horrible attitude at the front desk, didnt get a room with a view as booked, very noisy in our room ( noises from the hall).

we were a family of 5 and we were placed in a room with 2 double beds.

Room was not thoroughly cleaned and there were no towels.

Our room was a bit tight for a party of 5 and our youngest is quite small for her age.

The room smells like mildew and very old and dated!

you need to wait for almost 20min for it, and they can´t do a favor to deliver it at your room.

If management wants to discuss, room 810 from 7/23 to 7/28.

We arrived at the hotel and instead of being given a room at the GRAND OASIS PALM we were given a room at another hotel SENS.

It took some conversations to get them to give us a new room and agree to wash my cloth.

After sending us for a night at a different room with a working a/c, we came back to our original room the following day with the same dilemma.

We found a cockroach in the room (no i did not get a picture, which I regret)

The rooms could definitely use fans or dehumidifiers installed.

Therefore, we spent as much time a possible away from our room.

Lots of activities like arts and crafts, dancing, swimming and movie night, while other activities have an age limit (7-8 an older) just to be allowed to use the video game room.

The tap water taste or smell bad, must be something wrong with the building pipe.

First of all, it is a very old hotel with lighting and sewer issue.

Stood in line dripping in sweat for over a hour and a half just to check in!

The rooms smelled of mold, the floor dirty, the sheets stained.

1.5 hour to fill to the point I could turn on jets then the paint came off the bottom and it drained as we were sitting in it despite “closed”’drain.

•	Once the power came back on and the air conditioning came back on there was an almost unbearable smell of plumbers glue constantly coming into our room from the vent (presumably from the repair made to the burst pipe.

Average hotel por its price, medium to bad food, no room service and long lines for the food, drinks were good tho, some places of the pool smelled bad and we could not reserve a spot for some of the restaurants because capacity was very low.

The rooms stink of mould and mould cleaner.

Got into room the musty smell was a bit much (1208)!

It turns out - the balcony and not smoking on it wasn't a huge deal and we could smoke at the pool or anywhere outside in the the resort.

The late snack area offered cold burgers, hot dogs, stale fries and buns.

The hotel stinks of mold, rooms are smaller than 100 sq ft, you can sit on the toilet and your knees would be in the shower - that is how small of a bathroom you get.

The rooms are dated and smell of mould not the pictures I seen before booking.

Beach area was filthy, littered with cups, seaweed and even dirty diapers.

The food is the worst and the room smell like sewage.

The beach area is clean and a great place to hangout.

The staff from the vestibule down to the beach throughout the entire hotel was very gracious.

It was a real pleasure to be well attended by the all members of restauration areas, especially by Alberto from Venice reataurant.

The beach area is private with boogie boards, snorkeling gear, and kayaks to check out for free.

I will say that the options for shade are  better here and the beach is beautiful.

Pools and beach were clean and beach chairs were plentiful and comfortable.

Pools, ocean, restaurants are all very easy to get to.

Food, staff, rooms, amenities, beach and service were all outstanding.

The boys that serve around the pool and on the beach do a great job, they certainly get their share of exercise.
