Entertainment - you have access to the generations and also Royale stuff that you can book into- the activities I did was the bonanza tour which is cool as you see animals and the greenhouse and there is a daily 9 am bike tour of the resort… I saw water polo daily in the main pool which is fun and I also observed animal towel making with Daniel which was great.

Loads of activities during the day and evening.

As someone who can't sit still I was very lucky to have the great guys in entertainment team running sports, tours and activities - Eduardo, Daniel and Andre you guys made our holiday!

We were able to do a tasting, request mock up floral arrangements, and visit the venues prior the events and do walk throughs and edit items thereafter (prior to our wedding).

This building is very close to the entertainment venue so you will have fairly loud music till around midnight each day.

We just sit around the pool all day, so I can't say much about activities.

We played beach volleyball and pool sports.

Carlos, Luis, Abraham, Maria, Benjamin, Gabo, Jaidy were all really good activity leaders.

The food is gourmet as advertised and there is lots to do during the day and fun entertainment at night.

The option is there for extra activities at the main pool and for those wanting a quieter more relaxing break.

- Aqua Zumba (at Seaside) is about 100 times more fun than Aqua Fit.

Please remember to download the App as we found this very helpful to see the menus for each restaurant and days and times of activities.

He even remembered that we had liked their habanero spicy salsa and brought us some more!

We've stayed at another El Dorado property that Aqua Zumba as well as Aqua Aerobics - and we miss Aqua Zumba at this resort.

The resort also has daily entertainment, which was fantastic.

We love it here, the options, the food, the relaxing setting, and the nightlife.

If you manage to get a reservation and miss it you will be fined $100 USD.

Some a la carte servings were quite small and there was a lot of menu options not included in the all inclusive package meaning that you needed to pay additional charges for some items.

The taxi from the hotel is 65.00 USD and last

Taxes - there are additional costs outside of booking the hotel from the Mexican government so you have to pay a resort fee tax and a sanitation tax.

Food was mediocre at best except for Fuentes that we paid $100/pp extra.

I have to say that this hotel is not a luxury hotel and is not worth the money we paid.

As I have said this is 5th time Mexico most expensive hotel and by miles the worst, we read reviews ect before booking and our take on it is a lot of Americans come back and love it

Overall for the price we paid over £2000 each we shouldn't have to pay for extras like the sauna or some of the other resturants like fuentes wasn't included.

I’m disappointed the beach is not nice no swimming no snorkeling unless you pay for an excursion.the food was good

but when you've paid lots of money to be in all Inclusive hotel it's really not good enough.

I will say that other places I have stayed at this price point comparing apples to apples the basic room at some other places the room was bigger and nicer.

THE ROOM/SUITE
We paid for a Honeymoon Suite.

So it works out quite an expensive night-

To us it didn't make sense to pay that fee, when you had pool service anyways and 2 restaurants right by the pool.

My only complaint with the dinner show was that the wine pairings are an extra cost and they don't tell you about it in advance its just sprung on you once you sit at the table and its an extra $50 USD per person.

but it was at another on the other resort we also didn’t get to enjoy the whole experience because the massage included extra things that the concierge told us weren’t included and we had to pay extra for but when we got to the spa they said it was included.

We booked this resort through RCI and received an invoice stating it was paid in full and it was what we needed to check in.

We have no issue with the cancellation, except that we paid for the cruise upfront.

Food okay, grounds nice, could not find interesting entertainment.

And you can have a dance and karaoke in the evening aswell.

We have been to Mexico twice before and stayed at the El Dorada Seaside suites and Maroma which both of these hotels were excellent, great service and good quality food and great entertainment.

There is nightly entertainment that is always fun and plenty of things to do during the day if you so choose.

Entertainment is pretty much nonexistent at the resort

We were offered an opportunity to take the tour and receive a discount on an offered trip or the Fuentes dining show.

Il name a few really special staff that we met on our trip.

The shows were good- typical entertainment.

The facilities,staff, entertainment, food and grounds of the resort were amazing and really made it one of the best holidays we've had.

butler service 5 star restaurants and entertainment.

Very hospitable, entertaining and courteous.

The entertainment support staff does the utmost best to keep clients engaged.

but it’s the entertainment staff/events that keep us coming back.

Hugo was the night time entertainment host and did a great job with fun shows.

There was rarely something scheduled to bridge between early dinner and the late show time.

but the water is filled with large breakwater blocks and you wouldn’t be able to swim.

The ocean front is just rocks and a bit of beach to walk along, so if you want a beautiful pristine beach that you can swim at, this isn’t for you.

You also can’t swim in the sea as it is stormy and not always safe and also  there are boulders to break the wind so it isn’t as picture perfect as one would want it. 3.

You are also unable to swim in the sea due to the large rocks that are in there.

We didn’t bring our swim wear so couldn’t enjoy the full experience.

The ocean view from our swim out made up for a lot.

The facilities are amazing, we loved the Beds on the beach, the swim up bars etc, it’s a full on party atmosphere so if your from Texas and you want a full on four day pool party with foam then this is it.

Our room was a lovely swim up newly refurbished at the extreme end of the resort.

There is also absolutely no beach to swim in, coral reefs and large concrete structures line the beach.

We just returned from our trip at the El Dorado Royale Section in a swim up room.

Swimming with turtles and cave swim and an all day trip to Chichen Itsza.

Once we got into the room (building 44 with a swim-up room) we were so pleased.

Rooms

Pros:
Swim up rooms are GREAT if you want to keep having fun once the main pool winds down.

The views were pretty BUT They had coral reefs ￼ that prevented you to swim in the water!

It’s literally just a sand beach to lay on the water is full of these big concrete blocks that stop you from being able to swim and trap in all the seaweed.

We got the swim up suite, which we LOVED.

There was minimal beach to walk on and the view was disrupted by the concrete wave breakers which also limited the ability to swim in the ocean.

Activities were really fun, thoroughly enjoyed the pool volleyball and polo.

Pool volleyball, foam parties, and water aerobics (more of a water dance type thing) all added to the great experience.

Daniel, Javier, Laly, and Andre continuously suggested activities such as volleyball, water events, greenhouse tours, towel folding, the Mexican fiesta, etc.

We had an awesome time with the beach volleyball playing with Laly, Andre, Daniel (Poncho), Fernando, and Hugo!

We Loved our daily volleyball routine at 11 AM and 4 PM!

Activities range from Spanish classes, cooking classes, archery, yoga, 5k runs, pool volleyball, dance classes, and so much more.

From beach ⛱ volleyball to Cinco de Mayo they were great.

Restaurants were pretty decent and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions of being vegan..  Shoutout to Fernando, Mimi, laly, poncho and andre for putting together such great activities especially the volleyball!

Activities scheduled every day at El Dorado Royale Resort, and our kids enjoyed most of them, especially the beach volleyball.

The pool had consistent activity and music, with volleyball, handball, and water aerobics happening each day.

The plethora of daily activities was great with variety of volleyball, archery, mixology, pool, ping pong or just a nice walk around the property.

They really made us feel welcome- whether by salsa or Spanish lessons or playing ping pong, volleyball or water aerobics!!!

One thing I recommend is taking the top and right rooms on the beach which will be away from the volleyball nets.

We had tons of fun playing beach volleyball, and ping pong with them.

Laly and Noemi were at volleyball and water polo as well with us.

Javi and Gaby - from entertainment, thanks to both of them for great fun on the bike tour and volleyball, I wish I could have so much fun every day

The activités are what you typically expect of an all inclusive resort from  beach volleyball, polo through to ping pong comps etc.

There are so many activities going on that you can enjoy such events as volleyball, water polo, tequila tasting, archery, rifle shooting and we had great fun at the towel folding class!

The are great conversationalist and love playing volleyball. #VOLLEYBALLTEAM

We did one trip from the hotel to Xel Ha which was a long

We went to Chichen Itza one day and Xel-Ha to swim with dolphins another day and I would 100% recommend both!

My husband and I had just returned to El Dorado resorts after a long (fun-filled) day at the Tulum Ruins and Xel Ha.

Room service is free which is a nice touch, we arrived back late from xel-ha and room service was estimated at 45mins to an hour and came within 20 minutes.

I highly recommend taking an excursion or two while there to a cultural site, such as Chichen Itza or to one of the parks, such as Xel Ha or Xcaret.

I must mention the dolphin gimme all package Aswell this was a fantastic day out at Xel-Ha swimming with dolphins.

Xel Ha which was our favourite trip- I highly recommend a visit here - full of natural beauty and activities such as snorkelling, zip lining, a lazy river through the mangroves, cliff jumping, cycling, and there is a new veiwing tower that you can slide down - overall it’s amazing!

I particularly enjoyed the kayaking, the tennis, an outdoor stretch class, an outdoor massage from the spa, and time spent on one of the smaller beach areas -

The property is absolutely gorgeous, the food is good, and there are plenty of activities for the whole family.

Those incredible ocean views, delicious food and drinks, and ample activities such as kayaking, trapeze, tennis, snorkeling, and more, made for the best vacation we've had in years.

Family friendly, plenty of activities and a variety of food for picky children.

There are countless fun activities and no way to fit them all in.

Above and beyond for activities, friendliness and fun.

Its been 30 years since I was at a Club Med, and I was so pleased that the combination of great activities, organized fun, good food and wonderful ambiance is as it was in my memory.

And the balls are all weather-beaten - some are flat.

The food is fantastic and lots of activities IF you want to participate or otherwise just chill out on the beach!

Especially enjoyed the yoga and my 14 year old totally loved the teen club.

If you desire to get out of the resort, there are plenty of exclusive activities to choose from.

Regarding activities, the gym is very well equipped which is very nice.

My wife had so many questions from restaurants, activities, shows, drinks, etc.

I want to give a special thanks to all the GO's from Tennis, sailing, and archery team: Sebastian, Ismal, Havier, the tennis gods; Coco, Huge, Pablo, Marko, the Poseidons of the sea; and finally Pajima the great archery teacher.

The place is beautiful, great beach, facilities, activities, and definitely food.

We also took two yoga classes with Fay who is an amazing yoga instructor.

Let alone the amazing food, the beach, the various available activities all day long, the organized shows and parties, the real reason you like and come back to the Club Med are the stuff and their willingness to go above and beyond for you to have a great time.

Our stay in the Jade Exclusive Collection was the vacation of our dreams.

We went to Club Med Cancun Yucatan for Spring Break with a familiy of 14, including adults, young kids and teenagers.

It's a good place to go for an escapist holiday if you're not that interested in Mexico itself.

This mother-daughter escape into the sun was the healthiest, happiest vacation we've ever done together.

Our recent experience at Club Med Cancun was an amazing weeklong escape with minimal fuss which allowed us to maximise those magical vacation moments with our kids.

I have just come back from an impromptu trip to club med Cancun, and I am more than happy with the way my two week vacation has pan out.

We've come back home in immeasurably better mental and physical shape than when we left for our holidays.

Very nice spot for each type of vacation.

Great food, great facilities, clubs for kids of all ages all the time.

We have been going to Club Med Cancun for many many years as a family with 3 boys.

This is a very family friendly resort with an amazing kids club.

He led most of our drills and gave private lessons to my son (7) and me.

Teen club - Elsa was our daughter's leader and she was nice and responsive and easily included my daughter.

Kids club was fun and useful when we were diving.or wanted free time.

I felt right at home and our kids never wanted the trip to end!

We are a childless couple so it was definitely an adjustment to get used to so many kids being around.

We went twice once as a young couple and once as family with kids and both were great!

We wanted to get away for relaxing week with our 2 year old son and new that it would be tough

Very friendly and caring staff at the kid's club (thank you to Marie, Mathilde, Momo, Joss, Olivia and Sandy).

My son and I will make reservation in another club med location.

Kids show every night was a highlight for the kids!

One thing that stood out to me was that our room smelled very musty which is probably something that just comes with being so close to the water and a very humid environment.

The one complaint I have is that people there smoke a lot.

The general feeling of the room is disgusting.

The low point was the 20-30 rowdy Americans drinking booze, smoking cigars and playing loud music next to the kids pool.

dealt with (slow drain, leaky shower head).

but when we were at La Estancia and wanted to seat outside with all empty tables, rude and disrespectful hottest said I should have reserved outside if I wanted to seat outside … and I thought customer was always right :), talking to some gm’s we felt that there were not enough go’s or maybe they were with the kids which for me is ok. At Turkoise there was a designated smoking area which should be done here to keep the horrible smoke odor away.

but the rooms are old and be ready to follow a program….every day , they don’t have a smoking designated area so you can end up on the beach next to a smoker 
Our rooms had a damp smell and even a machine to clear the smell but it didn’t do the trick.

Sitting during a show on the entertainment patio while people are smoking is awful especially with young children around and during Covid, maskless and blowing into the crowd.

but I'm not sure else how to let the property know, is that we kept finding cigarette butts on our semi-private patio.

though there was a sticker on the door saying "clean and disinfected' there was a big poop in the toilet. Gross.

We felt Absolutely disgusting our entire stay.

but along with the seaweed was plastic cups, disposable facemasks, plastic wrap, and I even found a toothbrush while swimming. Disgusting!

I took a few fitness classes while at the resort and am still feeling the burn!

Severe mold and mildew in room, smelled horrible that we’ve had to keep the door open and the room way too hot.

This man is a disgusting human being and I am sure that he does this on the daily.

The room safe didn't work, the phone didn't work, the TV started to burn when turned on, even a room light and the refrigerator weren't working.

At least some of the outdoor spaces should be marked non-smoking.

This is very smelly (into the rooms too) and you cannot enjoy that beach at all.

but there were also many other great moments and experiences.

This was one of our best club med experiences thus far, and the tennis drills and private lessons contributed greatly to our positive experience.

If you are going to allow special events to impact standard GM experience, you must at least post this in advance and give us the opportunity to change our plans.

We went diving once (sadly twice cancelled due to wind) with Pancho, Jorge and the crew, it was well organized, professional and very friendly experience.

I also tried the trapeze and it was a wonderful experience.

WOW just an unforgettable priceless experience.

Rob (thank your for helping us with our L&F) & Olivier were always friendly, open and eager to hear about our experience.

The special menus at the two restaurants which took reservations in low numbers for a quieter dining experience, were well crafted, and they could have doubled occupancy and still preserved that feeling, sharing more of the chef's creative work with more guests!

They put in 100% effort to give you the best experience possible and you can tell that they care about their job and making sure you have a great experience.

Overall, we had a great time with this being our first Club Med experience and are hoping to this do this again some time in the near future.

A few shout outs I have to make, Dan the assistant chief, this guy was everywhere all the time greeting hosting managing, I look forward to seeing your rise in the hospitality community.

The sailing team was outstanding and Coco, Roy, Reginald and Alex were very friendly, approachable and competent particularly during a week that was marred by rain and bad weather – preparing and guiding guests of all ages and various degree of experience during the day, and sharing a drink and socialising in the evening.

The food was really the most memorable aspect of the trip.

Another thank you goes to Rob, for his awesome customer relationships skills and for going above and beyond and providing a fantastic customer service experience.

This was our third trip to Club Med Cancun over the last 4 years, and just as with the previous trips, the overall experience was excellent.
