The resort held a large event in their arena which we chose not to attend.

Another frustration is the kids clubs and activities, these are using a great thing for parents who want to get a short break and enjoy an hour or two, kid-free, unfortunately,  you have to accompany the kids at all the events an clubs here, unlike other resorts and cruises we've done.

If you want a lot of choices of restaurants and activities, this is a great place,

The water sports including the surfing machine and kayaking were good options for the whole family.

The shows, activities like sailing, kayaking, biking, play room, Wired, etc.

Things the kids enjoyed was flowrider, kayaking, beach soccer and the pools.

On the upside, the places offer lots of activities for the kids, which is good,

This was a fun activity for my 8 year old.

The playroom had something for every child to do, including a movie room, soft play and arcade games.

This was consistent across the spectrum of dining options available on the resort, from casual outdoor foods to the supposedly refined offerings at fine dining venues.

For family activities they have volleyball both in the pool and on the beach and more.

Tons of activities to get involved in throughout the day.

If you play ProV’s and plan on purchasing a dozen golf balls they are $160 at the course.

Good place for the kids to enjoy (play room for the kids between 4-11 and lots of arcade games).

There are so many features and activities  that we did not have to worry about the kids getting bored or just having to sit besides the pool/beach all day everyday.

Somebody remarked to me that we could “play football” in a restroom at the Grand, and I couldn’t argue with him.

their Mexican restaurant is right by golf club, dinner requires reservation.

Many excellent dining choices, fabulous spas, and a challenging golf course.

Also the golf starter team consisting of Noe, Angel, Adrinal, and Luis as always treated us with respect and were always ready when we showed up to play golf.

I flagged a golf cart driver gave him $5 he helped me take the luggage up to my room.

there are little golf buggys that take you from the different areas which comes in handy for little legs.

Adani our golf instructor has a gift as an instructor.

Our kids had so much fun, the golf course is really nice as well.

The grounds are huge and they have golf carts constantly running to take you from one place to other .

My family and I booked the beginner lesson for the Moon Palace Golf Academy, and we were not disappointed.

I would skip "Gondola," which was totally average. The Indian restaurant "Agra" which did require a reservation was fine, as was the Italian restaurant at the golf course "Trattoria."

They do have golf carts that drive around and pick you up.

but I haven’t mentioned were mini golf, the spa, play on the beach, watch the shows.

Getting around the resort is easy with the golf cart transportation and just go to one of the stops and check out the map and see which letter route you need to catch and they will take you where you need to go.

The service by the service staff was superb - restaurants, poolside, housekeeping, golf cart drivers.

A great introduction to golf and the instructor was very helpful.

There are so many other restaurant ideas that would crush it at that golf course setting.

The front desk is difficult to deal with, especially if you lose your bracelet, fine print costs you a lot of money.

Check-in was chaotic and clerk required us to charge another credit card for the entire trip that was already paid for in March.

If you wanted to attend the new year's eve party, it was an additional fee, lol.

Used to be a five star…still cost of a five star

The hospital trip also cost over $800 which we had to pay as well.

Don’t come here unless you like abuse and pay $20K.

For the price we are paying, we could be staying at the Four Seasons.

but you would have to pay for something first.

Note of not staying at The Grand: you must pay extra for the water slides.

But I don't think the additional price is justified for service or food.

Everything is falling apart, we paid extra for a swim up suite which was worthless and a joke.

Considering that they don't get tipped and what they are probably being paid, the servers were amazing.

But I Would not stay there again for regular price.

At $600 USD a night, this is completely not worth it.

Paying 16% tax for a service/good that is marked up at least 84% higher than what you would pay in the US is like getting no real value.

The bunkers are full of rocks and the course itself is not in pristine shape that you would expect from a course that charges $300 a round.

but we were told that he could be seen by their doctor but any expense had to be covered by us.

We paid for Ocean view and that was not Ocean view.

but they do not compare to the service and attention to detail that all the employees pay to everything they do at Moon Palace.

No music or entertainment to ring in the new year there.

The App was a little bit helpful to find what entertainment there was,

The Momo Tepanyaki was delicious and the chef was massively entertaining.

The cook who was at our table was very funny and did a great show.

Montserrat cares about all the guests and gives so much energy and also helps out at the shows in The Grand Theatre.

The entertainment staff Isaac, Raymond and Kevin were amazing and made the days fun!!

Entertainment at night we thought was excellent- very talented acts.

I have been coming to  The Grand Moon Palace for 8 years now and Ernesto el Chef bailarín, just made my day with his dance moves and the delicious ice cream he serves,  You must look for him near the pool at Sunrise.

Waiter Dario and her supervisor Anna are the magic combo on the floor - they gave us VIP-level customer service every time we came to enjoy at the restaurant  and they made our 5-day experience memorable!!!

It was a joy to relax and let the wonderful pool attendants; Marvin,  Amalia, and Amairani, bring you any beverage and food selection with a friendly and attentive “how are you doing?”

The children especially liked the elderly ice cream caballero with the hat and funny dancing.

Their entertainment team is amazing and always something going on.

The entertainment staff at the Sunrise (Jesus and Mitch) were very engaging and went out of their way to make things fun.

The entertainment staff sexy Issac, Doris, Sahara and Kevin made my family’s stay so fun!

Perhaps because most of the high-end dining experiences are there, as are the elaborate kids’ waterpark and a dance club for the late nighters.

Was quite disgusting to think that this would be acceptable to them.

The food was absolutely disgusting you couldn’t get in the Al La carte restaurants as they was all booked up.

Beach was full of seaweed and smelly -  water looked u healthy to swim in.

Stayed 5 nights, on night 3 I started noticing a urine smell from our mattress, stripped the bed and found our mattress was covered with urine.

Also, the beach is completely brown and unswimmable, and smells like sewage.

Steps have been taken to keep the majority of it several hundred yards offshore, so the stench does not permeate the atmosphere throughout the resort.

The food is disgusting, and think twice if youre going to have a wedding here because the way they treat guest is horrible and they dont care.

The room had a strange smell, insects, and technical issues with the app.

While on the property, the golf carts and lobby-to-lobby buses meant we never had to break a sweat.

although there was some seaweed in the adjoining beach, crew was constantly cleaning it out (no smell of seaweed).

Maintenance was noticeably lacking, door to room did not close properly, curtain pull broken, drain in hot tub broken, sink drain almost fully blocked so water would not drain.

If anyone use to or expect 5 star experience like international hotel brands (Marriott group, Hilton’s or Jumeirah) don’t expect anything like that here… Property old and tired and staff are undertrained to offer remotely comparable service..

Will NEVER return to this hotel even if it were free..

We checked out of the hotel and stayed in the Grand afterwards… hotel was much newer and didn’t have the same smell issues

but blimey u would think a hotel like this will entertain the guest indoors, instead they had some women screaming some nasty boring songs.

The food servers were handling food without gloves and that’s very disgusting   This place is falling apart, the employees here are way too pushy to sell something

but the sea water is disgusting with discolored water and the seaweed problem.

The bed linen particularly the pillow cases smelled like urine.

Booking appointments for spa with Jorge took over a month.

I would highly recommend her and the spa.

There was no ventilation in this dining room, we all felt like we were in a sauna.

My favourite was Lorena from the Spa at Sunrise.

A trip to Moon Palace cannot be complete with a visit to The Grand AWE Spa.

The fine print is there is a 16% tax out of pocket payment associated with these credits and there are limits on what you can use it on (golf, spa, upgrades, etc).

The spa at The Grand is also one of the highlights of Moon Palace.

A good time was had at the Unique Day Spa on several occasions and a highlight being the Library Bar which has awesome drinks.

I had many massages in my life and she obviously very experienced.

Pools, spa, excercise and bars were top notch.

Next to impossible to contact diamond transportation following a spa treatment at the Grand to return to our room at the NIZUC.

The spa at Grand and the golf course is a one-of-a-kind experience.

Had two deep tissue massages from Selena.

We spent time at the pools, and we frequented the Spa.

Claudia at Awe Spa was amazing at scheduling our whole family for facials and massages.

He scheduled all of our spa and dinners perfectly and worked closely with our

Pros were that the entertainment was above any other resort we’ve stayed at.

One of the best properties on the strip , An all-inclusive resort with city vibes comfortable rooms , choice of dinning , entertainment ,  stunning view , swim-up bars, sauna , spa, …. List can go on , this is an amazing property to enjoy  your short break , long stay , business + pleasure activities , celebrating moments , destination weddings  ( one-stop-shop)

All the activities were fun and the team made sure we had a really good and fun time.

We love the activities and entertainments very much.

The resort has daily activities so you will not be bored at all.

For example there's volleyball, soccer, concerts, yoga, dancing, and many more.

Danna made all the planned activities a lot of fun!

The show a lotnpf patience with guest team player that weren't that good at the game.

Danna & Jay got us in the pool for a water volleyball game.

Shoutout to Jay from the entertainment team who organized fun events such as beach football.

The pool staff had fun activities going and it all made for a great atmosphere.

The trip was very entertaining, with many activities to do on resort and the food was all great.

but the best would have to be the Japanese restaurant Gajin.

If you care about food, consider making reservations in the specialty restaurants as soon as you arrive (we liked the Japanese restaurant; Italian restaurant's flaming desserts were great; couldn't get reservations for the steak restaurant).

The chef at the Japanese restaurant gave a great show and made delicious food.

The food was very good, is japanese food with some mexican touch.

And Estevan at the Japanese restaurant was also great.

We also enjoyed awesome show at the japanese restaurant thanks to the Esteban the chef.

He is the chef at the Japanese restaurant :) He gave us a spectacular show and made delicious food.

The only restaurant we really liked was the Japanese restaurant, Esteban was great.

Our chef at Gaijin Japanese restaurant (Efrain) was so wonderful.

Enjoyed the Japanese restaurant and our chef Efrain was awesome 🤩 The pizza station was fantastic!

If you come to Sandos it's a must you come to the Japanese restaurant

The Japanese restaurant is the best, I loved chef's Efrain food, the show was fantastic.

I went to the restaurant for a Japanese food and it was so amazing.

The only restaurant that offered a great meal was the Japanese restaurant.

As for entertainment it was great, the staff did a great job engaging and making sure you had a great time.

The first night we arrived  was "Mexican Night" and they did a great job with traditional Mexican singers, dancing and a huge buffet.

Our chef was hilarious and very entertaining.

Big thanks to Leo the lion on the entertainment team poolside with Paula and the crew.

They had a Monday night live performance in their ballroom that was entertaining, with a fairly good dinner.

They don't host your typical party, the entertainment crew performed and then joined us to set the tone for the evening.

from leading dance classes, to volleyball on the beach, and hosting events, it’s made staying at sandos cancun the perfect vacation for friends and family.

Charlie, Leo, Dana, Paola, and Abraham were so fun and entertaining!

Entertainment team try hard to make it fun.

The beach, pools, entertainment, dining and drinks were great.

The entertainment is very fun, you can different things and find what you like.

Pool party, karaoke night, masquerade party, pool volleyball, room service and customer service was amazing.

Great rooms with the largest beds i have seen, clean, great food, volleyball all day and a fantastic price point.

I had so much fun at the pool during the day with Jair with volleyball and the water aerobics.

The staff are all very nice and encourage you to do group activities like water volleyball or yoga.

Volleyball,  excercises and pool services were perfect.

Love playing pool volleyball here and enjoying the unlimited margaritas and Dos Equis!!

The pool DJ continued to play during the ceremony and there was a game of pool volleyball going on during the ceremony.

The pool area was impressive, and I had wanted to play pool volleyball.

Gisel and Jeir ran some brilliant entertainment throughout the day including salsa lessons and a beach volleyball game.

But the few kids here for the wedding enjoyed the pool activities and volleyball.

I also witnessed yoga, water volleyball and water aerobics.

We had so much fun doing beach volleyball!!!

They don’t allow you to use the volleyball u less they supervise you and only when it’s scheduled in the daily activity 
Night time activities were not bad.

Lots going on around the pool area during the day( water & beach volleyball, aqua aerobics, Zumba).

Loved the entertainment at the pool, volleyball, stretch, exercise, zumba and foam party were good fun.

My kids loved the pool activities and the pool staff.

the staff are great and the activites are fun, especially the paddle board with Ricardo, the bar tending lesson with Angel and Ernesto.

Plenty of activities all thru the property.

We were very impressed with the Kid’s clubs.

Him and the entertainment team have great activities and shows, far better than most resorts in the area!

A big thank you to Jose/Josue and Junior - they had our group well entertained with the pool volleyball, Foam Party, pool aerobics, and other activities offered.

The coffee shop abs sports bar were great.

There were more activities than we could do, from exercise classes to crafts to shows - even some bird demonstrations!

Fran with FS activities made us have an amazing time with paddle boarding.

The kids club girls come to the pool and help them build bracelets, paint and different activities that we enjoyed very much.

Erick Marin and Luis Jimenez at the sports bar where great.

There is a FS only check-in room for this with candy soft drinks water coffee Xbox and kids room that makes things go easier.

A few that deserve shout outs: our building concierge, Allan, everyone at our favorite place, the sports bar, with special mentions to Rueben, Jesus and a women who’s name is escaping me (I’m so sorry!).

Thank you Karen, Pablo, Gabo and Jr. for the fun activities, Jesus our poolside waiter for excellent service, Pablo the bartender for making excellent drinks.

The options for activities were endless and all of the employees were extremely kind.

Also Manuel in the Sports Bar, along with all the waiters/bartenders in the Sports Bar.

Alejandro from building 14 did an amazing job coordinating our dinners despite all the excursion and activities we had.

Next time we would stay a little longer to try all the restaurants and experience some of the various activities they offer.

I really liked how Gabo Elie Kenia and Pablo encouraged us to do the hourly activities.

Consider going to the Liverpool Mall, its much cheaper, well stocked and where the locals shop.

Chicken tenders and loaded skins very tasty.Severano looks after you and even managed to get the Liverpool match on in English for us.
