Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, fantastic dinner on request, and breakfast out of this world for such a small hotel.

It was very peaceful, with comfortable beds, a good breakfast and dinner.

The room is large and clean, shower clean, well equipped, very good breakfast, with a varied selection of dishes.

The food served at dinner was well prepared, using ingredients from their own garden.

Breakfast was included and was sufficient for me.

The dinner and the breakfast were very good.

Breakfast was equally as good and just as filling and I was told to take some apples from their apple tree to have for the day.

Portions are perfectly adequate and everything is freshly made, often from ingredients taken from their own garden or local suppliers.

The food is exactly what would be expected: delicious homemade traditional dishes!

We had breakfast included and it was great, romanian traditional: cheese, eggs, ham, tea and blueberries jam.

Do visit the painted egg museum just down the street.

In a quiet village (home of  the painted egg museum)  close  to the circuit of the main 4 painted monasteries.

although the check-out was not due, the personnel started cleaning around, placing at some point a vacuum cleaner on the table were we had breakfast two hours before.

I unfortunately had to check out in the morning, and it was a rainy day,

The furnitures looks like there are there for ever and in some cases it looks that they never replace, repair or throw away something.

but for internet addicts, workoholics and such, it might pose a problem.

WiFi is somewhat tricky as the signal is weak requiring sitting in the dining room or searching for the free public network on your balcony. .

The internet connection too was quite poor, and our Mastercard and Visa which had been accepted at the three previous hotels, was unable to connect, and we had to pay by cash.

With curtains very thin the room is then flooded by sunlight at 6 am - NO way to sleep .

The food was plentiful and excellent and definitely Romanian, accompanied by the hosts very acceptable home-made wine and spirits (free of charge).

Great food, overly kind and friendly hosts, nice planning with activities such as traditional sleigh riding, traditional easter egg decoration, christmas glass painting and for new year's eve fireworks and karaoke and dancing.

The food was very delicious, all homemade and traditional.

I recommend to have dinner, the Moldovian dishes are delicious!

The home made cooking is exquisite, every day having pleasant surprises from our host when it came to this, thus having the opportunity to try out different delicious traditional dishes from the area.

Casa Elvira is a point where you can easily reach Mocanita Hutulca , Egg Museum , and all the monasteries which Bucovoina is famous .

We spent the Easter period and the food was plentiful and very good.

Breakfast was likewise very hearty and delicious, including many meats and cheeses, omlets, and bread with homemade fruit preserves.

The price of lunch/ dinner - 10 EURO per person seemd expensive for us, so we decided to eat in other places - we managed to save some money this way :).

However, for all the readers, I can only recommend this place, for those with pure souls who seek not the most expensive

The menu was included in the price we paid for the Easter package and we ate as much as we wanted (we were always asked if we need more, which of the items we want more of etc).

but had to close the windows because of the noise from the playground.

The chef is a special one, you have to test the menu with great meals and delicious sweets.

The food is delicious and you should absolutely try the traditional dishes, you will not regret it.The hotel has it's own parking  and Campulung Moldovenesc is the best location to visit the Moldavian monasteries.

The price is very reasonable and they have a wonderful breakfast and dinner menu.

We are an italian group that travel very often and we found a very nice accomodation, very clean room, very good food both for breakfast and for dinnner and the staff is very kind like a family.

The food at Hotel Eden is truly excellent, with a complete breakfast buffet, and many traditional romanian dishes at lunch or dinner.

if it's in the front building just refuse it.

They could only be reached by going up one floor in the new building and crossing an external walkway that led back to that deserted building.

the only thing that I did not really like was that our room was in a different building then the main building (with the reception and spa area) - so you have to walk quite a bit to get to the pool and back.

Rubbish had been left behind the building after a wedding on the previous night and the dog spent the night pacing to the rubbish bin and incessantly barking and howling!

We ve got a horible room without Windows- was last floor .

The bathroom flooded every time we took a shower as there is no curtain and water just gushes over the side of the bath/spa onto the floor.

but the street side is indeed noizy because of the big trucks that pass the all night unther your window.

but uneven stairs poorly lit, right on main euroroute road with trucks thundering by the window.

Excepting the breakfast I don't recomend to eat here, there are many other nice places with excelent local specialities.

Breakfast is excellent, and you can also get a dinner which is reshly prepared, only traditional food of amazing quality.

The food is indeed an incredible story in itself - its authentic; plentiful; tasty; and homemade - it is a must taste and enjoy.

The place looks amazing: very old traditional houses refurbished, beautiful natural surroundings and delicious food.

We had dinner and breakfast there (we didn't know what we are going to eat) food was good

but absolutely everything the neighbours are doing or saying.

What bothered me most was the fact that the bed was shaking every time someone was walking into the next room (so I woke up at 7:00 AM when the neighbors started walking).

Our friends had to look for another place in the neighborhood and we spent the night separately.

Also, the wi-fi  did not work / was very poor - and when I asked the host to fix it they asked me instead why it wasn t working.

We stayed four nights and the breakfast was poor, the same every morning(a few slices of meat,cheese,tomatoes,cucumbers,and pancakes)The dinner was also poor and overpriced 15 euro/person fixed.

The dinner was, also, poor and very expensive for Romania : 15 euro for one person, fixed menu.

The waitering services were poor - every time we would ask for something extra, such as mint tea, extra sauce or to change bed sheets the waitress's answer was most of the time rude and not helpful.

The only point which can be rated as a "minus" is the road to the House - nearly 1 Km of a road in a poor condition.

This room was suitable for our needs, the tiny bathroom was a delight for the little one, even if for me it was "challenging'' and painful for my back.

The room was small, modestly furnished (antique furniture items) and quite noisy (you could hear noise from the dining room and from the other rooms), bathroom very small.

in the bathroom is an horrible smell and lots of chalk in the shower and the water smells horrible.

15 Euro you get starter, soup, main course, desert and drinks (water, wine and traditional Romanian hard liquor).

There is no warm water during the day and that makes it difficult to wash a 1 year old.

Same thing we ordered somewhere else in Câmpulung Moldovenesc, we paid only 11 lei and we had chili + sour cream + garlic sauce included in that price!

but I thought they might have had a lot of orders and that it would be worth our time.

Also on our balcony we could admire a special intervention on the drainpie: it was broken, so they repaired the damage tying it with a plastic bag to keep the water dripping through and not beyond the pipe!

The staff was not responsive and i had to wait about 30 minutes to get my invoice,i think the only problem was that i santed to pay by card and they wanted cash.

Fro the price per night that they charge it should have been readily available.

The price is average for the accommodation and a bit high for the restaurant,

The waitress looked as if she really didn't want or care to be there, she took our order and then we waited for it.

We spent a great time here. The portions of the food were large and it was delicious :)

We arrived late in the night after the area tour and we were well received, with delicious food.

The price also includes breakfast and dinner.

but she insisted that the landlady had given her precise instructions that we needed to pay for another day.

The price without food would have been 30 RON/night.

I should let you know that the landlady's husband suggested we get a different rooms at arrival time

), I was given a double room with a bathroom attached because the dorm rooms were full.

I've seen that one room at least has a bathroom of its own, while others do not.

Great location for local sightseeing - do the drive from Moldovita monastery to Sucevita - and quality of service is excellent, as was the food, sourced locally - unbelievable breakfasts!

They serve local traditional food with ingredients from their own mini-farm.

We were stunned at how superbly prepared was our dinner, the wine selection quite good, dessert delicious.

They have they’re own restaurant, such a plus, where you can find also a bar and besides the à  la carte menu at the restaurant in the mornings they serve breakfast too.

Also the quality/quantity of same chosen dish for the breakfast varies from one day to another.

The hotel is actually on the first floor on an apartment building, on the main street, with its own restaurant downstairs.

The only problem we had was the parking space infront of the building, a paid one that is used by lots of people coming into the center of the city and due to the heavy traffic our car was scratched.

If you order less, the money are not reported to the next day and if you order more then you have to pay for the difference.

The only bad thing is the payment system for the breakfast of 20RON per person.

but not unique, I have seen at other guest houses and B&B’s abroad and also good to know is that if you choose to stay here and you arrive and you are looking for the reception area don’t do it because you won’t find such a thing.

Very beautiful place, in a awesome area, with many trees, delicious food at breakfast, lunch and dinner !

It looks way better than in photos, the hosts were so kind and it is not expensive at all (120ron/1 night/2 pers with breakfast included ~ 30$).

Sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita dell'accoglienza dei gestori, assolutamente fantastica.Cabana Ionela è un bellissimo chalet in montagna sulla collina del paese, immerso nella quiete e circondato da boschi di abeti, lontano dal rumore del traffico ma comunque vicino alla strada principale.
