Shower temperature was not stable, and the room amenities (eg: sheets) were not replaced.

The bathroom is old and with leaking spots.

The bathroom was in a bad condition, it looked like no maintenance in the past months.

but furniture, curtains, room carpeting, bedding and bathrooms need a fresh air.

but the carpets, curtains, windows, beds and the linen are a little old.

The hotel is well located and offers transportation to the city centre, what is very convenient.

Location is excellent, very close to the city centre and shuttle service is available is needed.

This is a Japanese style hotel, very well located, 15min walk from city center.

This hotel has great location and the charm is the Japanese touch specially the pond ith colorful fish.

But it definetly needs some urgent updating.

However, the facilities definetly need updating.

Room was so clean with an amazing decoration and the breakfast was perfect, everything was tasting good.

The breakfast is excellent and the rooms were very clean, besides the old furniture.

However, we had problems with the heating (the rooms were often very cold) and our shower was dripping, and neither problem was resolved during our four night stay.

They refused to turn on the heating before 6pm, just to save a few bucks.

A place not far from the center of Capivari and at the same time far enough from the hub hub to be a retreat into the mountain top.

A good option away from the centre of town, if you have a car.

Its at a great location, peaceful yet near the buzzing center, it has good rooms and bathrooms, decent linen, good water pressure in the shower, functional appliances, warm and solicitous staff, delicious breakfast and afternoon tea, and has a warm, homey feel to it.

If you are cold in your room, you will need to call the desk and ask them to put the heat on.

Disgustingly dirty, cannot even mentioned what I found in the room. .

Totally recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, clean and pleasant place to stay.

The location is quiet, and rooms on the backside of the inn have a great view of the valley and sunset.

The staff was attentive and the breakfast food delicious with a nice variety breads, cold cuts, sweets and fresh juice to name a few.

The city offers excellent food , especially German with beer that is tops.

But the meals we had in town were excellent and the hikes through the park outside town were a relaxing change of pace from Rio and Sao Paulo.

The rooms were clean and the view picturesque and oh, so pleasant.

We stayed for a weekend the drive from São Paulo is stunning scenery .The pousada is about 2klm out of the main town ,we had a room overlooking the valley with two  2  balcony,s .The room was clean large bed comfortable

The city is full of attractions even in the summer season, with many options for outdoor sports, hiking and others.

The hotel is one of the most beautiful buildings of the neighborhood--which is just the best neighborhood in Campos do Jordão (Capivari), where all the nice&cosy pubs, shops and points of interest are located.

I think it is one of the best options in terms of cost benefit in Campos do Jordao.

We had a great time, the best is the localization right in the center of all the restaurants so we just took the baby in the stroller and left the car in the hotel garage.

The Serra de Estrella is right in the centre of this bustling little town and fits with the town's rustic German feel.

We stayed there for one night (May 6th) and it was our first night out with our 4 month baby.

I would highly recommend this hotel, including if you have kids!!!

Only hotel with swimming pool at the neighborhood, what is perfect for kids.

There is a sink, with no room to put anything, like, hello, people, have all sorts of things, tooth brushes, toothpaste, brushes, perfume, and a host of other personal items, they should have thought about that when designing the bathroom area.

I’ve stayed in other 3 different hotels in Campos (cheaper ones and more expensive ones) .

I've been to campos twice and stayed in Le Renard twice.

but it is Campos, so you will find many good restaurants around.

The hotel is ideally located near the hottest spot in Campos, walking distance to Baden Baden, and yet in a nice hilltop far enough away from all the noise.

I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing a confortable stay in Campos do Jordao

Me and my husband have been at Le Renard in June.They have great staff and a great environment to enjoy a romantic weekend.Their breakfast are great with variety of fruits .Also,Le Renard is very well located,next to some importante places of Campos.

The hotel has  a  good location, not far from the city centre in a peaceful street in a hill with a wonderful view from the hotel.

Finally in compare with the quality the price is a little high.

On top of that, the hotel should think a little more about space for guests to place their personal items, I assume that in the more expensive rooms there is space in the bathroom to put some personal hygiene items,

It is pricey - US$750 for one night in a room for 4 people.

Rooms are very clean, the architecture is perfect and very close to the market.

If you want a gastronomical adventure, a hotel with fantastic kids activities and luxurious and relaxing stay this hotel have it all.

Family friendly and great activity on spacious grounds.

but the service is impeccable, the rooms are marvellously clean and modern, and the variety of activities is great (we took a cocktail lesson).

Enjoy the best afternoon tea placed in a hotel (ever), outdoor activities and sports, and outstanding meals.

There are a lot of games to play, a big indoor space and at weekends, monitors look after the children.

It sits on a huge property with all sports facilities, an extremely cozy pool and has lots of other entertainment services to offer, including a full-size theater where I watched a real good Beatles cover concert.

Children activities are excellent, high quality and devoted monitors keep the children busy.A very good alternative for a few days escape from Sao Paulo.Food is good and there is a high quality pizzeria in the property.

We were on a business trip and I recently had surgery so I was in a restrict diet (only smashed food allowed prepared with no oil).

Going there on weekdays ask about some big business conventions, what could be very unpleasant for normal guests.

The location of the hotel is perfect on a hill and it's a ten minutes walk to the center of capivari, which is the best part of Campos de Jordao.

From the moment we drove into the mountainside town of Campos Do Jordao, I knew I would love the stay, and the Grande Hotel did not disappoint.

Campos do Jordao, about two-and-a-half hours from Sao Paulo, is a lovely resort village that resembles an Alpine village more than something in Brazil.

Great for kids, there is a team that take care of them, so parents don't need to be worried about and enjoy as well.

A girl come to our table saying that it wasn't her section (so per say she didn't have any fault).

Staff is always friendly and helpful, specially the mini club members, who are very attentive and fun with the kids.

Nice food and friendly staff with excellent amenities for kids and adults.

Great hotel also for families with kids from all ages.

They have a special room preparation for kids that is impressive - everything we needed for our baby was already there on our arrival to the room.

I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families with small childrens.

The hotel has a very good structure for kids and the team treated my 2 year old daughter as a little queen.

though it was very clean and the room was in excellent condition, be ready for a place that hasn't been updated since the late 70s.

I´ve been to Campos to Jordão a few times and this is one of the best!

This beautiful hotel is located between 12 and 20 minute drive from the center of Campos do Jordão.

I stayed in Home Green Home for a weekend escape in Campos do Jordão, despite the fact that I knew that this building has more than 30years it still looks magnificent.

It is elevated above Campos do Jordão with ensures great views.

For people that prefer Campos do Jordão away from the buzzing Ville-centre, is a good place to stay,

The HGH has the most beautifull view of Campos do Jordao.

The property is at least a 10 minute drive from the heart of Campos do Jordao, and despite the location on top of a ridge the views are not great.

The Home Green Home is a High Class hotel, built in the middle of the mountain and it brings to your staying a old days and romantic atmosphere.

The location is about 10 mins drive from the center located in the woods and gives a good vibe.

All furnitures, decoration and style are probably the same ones from its foundation.

The hotel itself is quite big and is built in mountain like architecture.

We wanted to experience a glamorous, great hotel,

The architecture reminded me to the Shining hotel.

but rooms are well furnished and the most important is that they have a fire place downstairs and a hated room upstairs.

But they have been doing a good mantainance with painting and exterior aereas.

Drinks were not included in the dinner package (no water or juice) and at R$8 a glass of juice I expected it to be freshly squeezed.

The juices felt more like water with powder flavor, only the orange juice was really juice.

the hotel does not offer electtic plug adaptors so bring your own.

The facilities count on a restaurant where the breakfest is served (with a view for the mountains), play game room, gym and warmed pool (again, breathtaken view).

Great rooms, delicious breakfast, restaurant inside with soap delicious.

The breakfast was good and the dinner was ok.

Hotel is clean, dinner was OK, they accept pets, what was very handy in my case.

Another amazing thing was that our rate included breakfast and dinner for the whole weekend, something that the horrible-booked hotel didn´t had.

Family with young children was coming to meet us, so we thought a large hotel with an on-site restaurants and more amenities would be better for them.
