Here is a tip: if you happened to be in the area of the hotel in the mornings go downstairs to the breakfast room and have a free breakfast.

Perfect location, great staff, very good breakfast.

If I had a complaint about breakfast it was Africa by Toto on perpetual loop!

The morning breakfast buffet was good as well.

The weirdest part is that they basically refused to let me use the iron / ironing board.

Room does not have an iron, which was very unusual based on my experience

but I did notice no iron or ironing board was in the room (I assume it could be provided).

but the chair were also unglued, hairdryer not corretly fixed (electtical hazard!)

Service is slow, and they don't have a grasp on what a business traveler needs (speed, convenience, taxis waiting on the door, iron in the room, a watch by the desk).

No iron and iron board in the room, after requesting a couple of times was delivered an iron which was like 10 years old and was told I cannot keep it for more than 1 hour.

I had service people coming to my room to fix stuff, and they did not understand a word I said, both Spanish or English
- I arrived 10pm: No conergie, no iron available, no pressing /ironing service available so I had to wear my crunched shirt in my 1st day of event
- I asked for power converter (the one they use in Brazil is a 12v 3-teeth). Not available, "all are occupied"
- Newspaper: No, at front desk there is only one (just like a far-away country side hotel, ah?)

The only disappointment I experienced was asking for an iron one night and no one every brought me one.

My room didn't come with an Iron and Ironing Board, so I had to request one - which didn't come in time to use it my first day.

Bring your own iron, as they won't give you one on arrival.

Hardly one with better location and better view (as long as you are in a front apartment) though!

It has a good location, close to Cambui area.

Location of the hotel is in a business area and is quite safe for walking around.

This is big hotel, well located and business oriented.

The Location is mainly in the Center of Campinas.

but is ok and the location is fairly decent with a few restaurants and fast food outlets in the vicinity.

It is not in a great location, not much is near by and the hotel provided a photocopied map that was really fuzzy and hard to read.

Is located in a very busy avenue, so a top floor is a must.

I use this location for business several times per year,

But being as they are located above head height, I realized their purpose.

Overall, nice location, helpful staff = nice play to  stay in Campinas.

The hotel seems on the surface to be a quiet well appointed hotel the peace was destroyed at the weekend by a large group of young people who took over the pool area with loud music excess drinking and noise.

A well located hotel in Campinas with rooms of good standard and good facilities - 3 restaurants and 2 pools, gym, spa etc..

It's directly across from a park ideal for jogging, has a outdoor pool with enough length for swimming and walking distance to Carrefour grocery store, restaurants and we even walked to the little zoo over a mile away.

There is a long swimming pool and a pretty well equipped gym.

This gym is one of the best equipped hotel gyms I've seen; there's even a small lap pool if you like swimming.

Exercise room is large and very well equipped; small lap pool.

The gym is one of the best hotel gym I have seen almost anywhere in the world, and the lap pool comes right into the gym.

There is a tray full of snacks which are more suitable for kids and there is a fee for each snack.

You will find less expensive hotels and you will find ones with bigger and more luxurious rooms in Campinas.

My wife used the spa and while it was expensive it was also top quality .

But the internet connection was really poor, even if you paid for it.

however expensive for the rooms and service provided.

I paid extra for the faster wifi and it was a little slower than expected

Too expensive, the room felt very cheap (in terms of cleanliness, quality of linens and towels, etc).

The downside to this place is the room service, my experience was beyond awful I ordered food twice and the first time it came with no flavor and very price the second time I order just a plain simple burger and it took them 3 hours plus I got it uncooked, raw meat, and no good at all; if they could improve that, then it would be better than average, specially for the price

Despite all this, I still believe the hotel to be overpriced, so don't plan on staying too long here.

Next time, I'll try the ibis or the meecure, since they are less expensive and in the end they might be just as decent as Victoria.

No real international TV-selection, wifi overpriced.

There aren't very many english language TV choices and NO movie choices or Pay on Demand movies.

Brazil is an expensive country and over the years I have had my fair share of dodgy and unpleasant hotels throughout Brazil and this was definite not either of those.

In Brazil standards are not inline with the price you pay like in Europe.

Rooms ars not nice, service is bad, outrages charges (slow internet is free, reasonable o e will cost you 35 real a day), breakfast hall looks like a hostel public space (I have nothing against hostels).

The price isn't cheap at the hotel (400 $R and up)

Guess what: They challenge each and every argument I had and made me feel like I was a stupid guy lien all around he place
- Price /quality ratio: less than zero, and that is being optimistic: USD 180 in a country-side city? Crazy.

Like every other hotel in Brazil, it is a little pricey.

For those of you that like (and have the courage, these days) to walk on the streets, especially at night, Vitória Concept is very close to the nicest neighborhood regarding nightlife, entertainment, bars and restaurants.

The restaurant is excellent for lunch - excellent service as well.

I agree the internet service was pretty bad - it is not up to current standards for a hotel of this quality - it is slow and cumbersome to connect to.

The connection is painfully slow and disrupts once every minute.

They have great pools and activities for the little ones.

The resort has a lot of activities for minors such as kindergarden, lots of toys, small parks, dinossaurs, etc, etc, etc.

The Royal Palm is a resort in the suburbs of Campinas and it has a wide range of sports and spa activities.

Excellent resort with excellent bedrooms, good food and wonderful activities to family with children with special scenarios ( castle, ship, house and mill), with games and entertainers .

My daughter was really looking for some adventure at KataKuta and my son for archery.

Installation is good and external activities very nice for kids.

I'd recommend this resort for families with children as they offer a wide range of activities for kids all day long.

We only wished we had brought our children given all of the activities available.

very good structure, heated and fantastic swimming pools, hot tube, spa, gym, archery, restaurants, bar, bistrô, and excellent group of entertainment to children and teens.

The activity team is very friendly and caring: they are able to attend to the kids from the early morning to the evening, if you require them to.

Beyond that I think that if you brought childeren they would go nuts over all the activities

Fantastic pool, really good sleep quality, complete gym, and plenty of other activities for kids.

What's Good:
Gorgeous Pool, breakfast buffet (but expensive if not included in room), spacious grounds, excellent fitness facility, tennis courts, archery range, small soccer field, kids play area to die for, 90% of the staff speaks English well, room cleanliness, grounds orderly, poolside service, rooms in The Palms (a separate hotel within the resort).

It has a nice pool and many activities for adults and children.

Checking and check out were a nightmare, this resort is popular for conferences, and I thought a better system would have been in place for checkin and check out for those of us not involved in the conference.

I feel that the check in and check out could be better prepared for the amount of people.

If you are an adult you will suffer due to a few things:
- Check-in and check-out are very, very slow.

From start to end, a big disappointment: check-in on Sunday, no one to help with the luggage.

We waited a long time ofr our food and before it arrived they wanted us to sign the check.

A yellow paper is given and you have to show it as you check-in.

Only thing to observe, is that plenty of conferences are held here, so the check in/out area can be congested, depending on the time you are getting in/out.

I have only very few things to point out that could be better:  the hotel mixed up my booking twice (I was checked into the wrong room initially; it also took them several days to get the right check-out date for me).

Our first impression was already bad: check in is at 14:00

They did not mention this to me when I checked in.

however when checking out I got charged for 4 nights.

Maybe things just started off on a bad note - long line at check-in, followed by being put into room 2205 - which - no joke - smelled like mildew / mold, and actually had mildew growing on a wall!

From the very beginning when Eduardo answered Back About the kind of room I Wanted til the check out!

The checkout line is something else, we waited for 50 minutes in a line to be able to checkout.

When I returned, I was waved around the check in line and given my keys.

What really drove me nuts was the mess I ran into upon check-out.

The check-in was very busy and after wait 15 minutes for check-in they gave us a smoking bedroom without at least ask us if we were smokers.

The only negative is be sure to review you bill carefully -- fortunately, will some persistance, everything was resolved to our satisfaction at checkout.

I have one complaint : I gained some weight!

The place is amazing: great structure, restaurants, swimming pool, fitness room.

It is quite huge with an excellent pool, gym and spa.

Tennis, gymnasium, fitness center, kids play area (with multi-story castle), and of course a great pool area.

Nice rooms, swimming pool, facilities and great restaurants, among other attractions.

but thy are providing a nice service and facilities.

Facilities were good for the meeting as well.

They also have tons of conference space, a well equipped gym and a SPA!

There is an archery area, gym, soccer and tennis fields.

but nothing close by (that I could see) to walk to - but the resort is large enough that it is enough exercise walking around it.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days while attending a wedding nearby and were truly impressed at all the resort had to offer: friendly and helpful staff, a very nice room, several terrific pools, a high quality fitness center and beautiful grounds (tennis, archery).

There are enough people of staff to take care of the children and not lose sight of them.

Royal Palm is a big hotel with great facilities (lots of pools and activities for kids),

The gardens are exquisite, great for kids with especial parks for them.

In a nutshell, if you have kids between 4 and 10 this is the place to go.

There's a substantial area for kids that looks great for 2-7 year olds.

There is a precious children's area that includes a kind of obstacle course.

but you don't know it, you can take you children, but the have great things got them to do all day on the resort so the adults can have adult time.

Two pools are specially designated for kids.

Our kid enjoy a lot the recreation team .

They should re-think the layout of the restaurant to accommodate the guests betters as you just want to run away on a Saturday morning (kids screaming in a confined space, etc).

It was evident the hotel caters to families as there were many children's programs and the hotel grounds had many childrens atractions.

The pool was warm, there was a lifeguard, and the room was good and spacious,

I asked if I could get an equivalent room with the swimming pool view since our balcony had a view to the hotel walls.

Prices inside the resort are comparable with other properties, only gripe I have is that every time you order anything yiu have to sign for it, maybe let us run a tab and sign once at the end of the evening 

Pool area is clean and reasonably well maintained, pool was very cold

Camila at the reception did everything to expedite our check out and Matheus at the pool also was very attentive to our needs.

I was there with my family and the kids loved the pool areas.

It has a wide layout, courtyard pool and fine dining.

The pool bar was perfect for a solo traveler.

The pool area is magnificent with jacuzzi, large beautiful pool, an outdoor bar/restaurant and even a kid's area with water slides, etc.

Obviously, the impressive pool area was the highlight for most participants.

I guess you pay more for being near São Paulo.
