Our superior room (8th floor) was spacious, quiet, very clean and we loved the extra touches like the sun hat, beach bag and foot cream etc.

Or venture out onto the seafront where there are more Bars and restaurants.

Great location on the edge of town, right on the beach.

The hotel is on a great location on the beach, is spotlessly clean and well equipped clearly having been refurbished not that long ago.

A lovely room where there was a hat  for the sun and a beach bag amongst lovely bathroom amenity kits etc.. the bed was comfortable and cool as it was very hot for the time of the year.

All of positive things to say about this hotel front of beach starting with the greetings from the receptionists, special mention to Daniela, professional, friendly, attentive and very well prepared about all my questions!

It didn’t bother us as the beach is absolutely glorious.

Also there was a sun hat and beach bag for your use.

The rooms are spacious and literally have everything you need including coffee machine, soft drinks beer and water complimentary each day, you are even provided with a beach bag which was a nice touch.

though and overlooking the beach so that was fab.

This is a beautiful hotel with a fabulous view overlooking the beach.

The hotel location near the beech , the hospitality of staff and room service were outstanding.

There wasn’t one day where we could get a bed  So we went on the beach every day.

Hotel location is superb, right on the beach front so you can access the beach and the restaurants and 450 paces to the Old Town which is well worth a visit or two.

There is a spacious lounge area with comfy chairs which overlook the promenade and beach through floor-to-ceiling windows.

The reception team on arrival were very friendly and welcoming.

You could also try and improve your Spanish speaking with the bar staff who are so friendly and encouraging.

From entering the hotel with the lovely smell of the air purifier, very attentive reception staff, very friendly and professional.

Friendly and professional staff from the knowledgable receptionists to the happy and friendly pool staff.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and a real credit to the hotel.

What an amazing hotel from the moment we stepped in to the reception we were given such a warm welcome by the lovely Maria so friendly attentive and professional, she explained everything to us that we needed to know to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable.

All the staff are friendly,  polite and helpful.

The staff are all very nice   especially lovely Paula who is so friendly.

Overall a great hotel, very friendly staff and an excellent location.

Everything was immaculate, efficient, the staff were friendly, the food was great, the rooms were cozy and the beach club and gym were ideal.

The staff across every department - reception/ housekeeping/ bar and catering were fantastic, extremely friendly while very professional and deserve to be commended.

All the staff in the whole hotel was very friendly and always had a smile on their face.

It exceeded all expectations and, in my opinion, is an exemplar as to how a hotel should be operated:
A first class, welcoming and responsive front of house team;
A great front line location for access to the beach, restaurants and bars;
Immaculately maintained communal areas;
Excellent, varied and plentiful breakfasts;
Spacious, quiet, well stocked bedrooms and bathrooms which are also well maintained;
A recently refurbished beach club with a lovely pool and bar facilities;
Above all, outstanding, well trained, motivated and friendly team members.

Hotel was clean, rooms spacious, staff friendly, food fabulous and the 360 bar has an amazing outlook.

Staff all super friendly and work very hard to keep the Hotel spotless and running efficiently.

Quite sad, as many of the guests made an effort to dress more formally.

Be warned, though, that guests will be queuing for those loungers before 9:30 and if you’re not quick, you won’t get one, at least not one with some shade.

There is parking below the hotel for £14 a day reduced for guests if you are hiring a car.

Unfortunately you cannot help selfish and ignorant guests.

Those guests who didn't have a sea view or were in the shade would have been at a big disadvantage.

I did find a lot of the guests quite rude and a lot of them squabbled over the beds (not with us) which was quite entertaining to watch whilst sat on the side of the pool!

However their are major issues with the swimming pool area of the Hotel

There are not enough Beds for Hotel Guests.

The guests had an absolute blast and if I could do it all again tomorrow I would.

However a couple of issues people should be aware of, it’s a very big hotel the pool is not big enough for the amount of guests it was a rush every morning to get to the pool and grab a sun bed with parasol the pool doesn’t open till 9:30am.

If the service was as good as the food you would have hit the Jackpot 
You have to leave deposits for puttying anything on your bill to the room, i left £200 for drinks which was quickly swallowed  up with the Very Expensive costs and when it was depleted i felt very awkward and made to feel uncomfortable in front of many other Guest that you have no more money on your account.

The hotel is very busy with guests checking in & out all the time.

They used to serve coffee in the morning now it comes from a machine with the Queue that involves.

Eggs had to queue as only 1 person doing omelette  abd eggs.pool area disappointing very small lack of space for size of hote

We had to throw the pizza away as that was cold and again long queues at the pasta bar whilst waiting for pasta to be cooked.

The only thing small point that I would pick up on is in the day the pool bar is very disorganised, staff don’t know if they are serving, or collecting glasses and you can be waiting ages.

but sometimes a bit of a queue if you want eggs / omelettes etc.

Check in is the slowest check in i have ever experienced with many people not queuing and simply pushing in with the hotel staff saying nothing, again leaving me feel uncomfortable.

Sometime there was a short queue to be served at one of the many serving stations.

Small things like at reception whilst standing queuing (and visible) on a couple of occasions the receptionists decided to answer the phone first

Asked for some new lettuce, 10min of waiting man came back said they have none left.

Huge queue at checkin , no welcome drink.I chose a sea view room as I know cyclists book the back cheaper rooms.Surprise, cyclists next door, continually pumping and letting air out on balcony and door in room noisy because of comunial door to access room from my side.

You are likely to queue for ages and then find there are no teapots and a very limited choice of tea.

We are sitting in the hotel lounge area  finally enjoying an after dinner coffee and liqueur.

There is a grill section serving, steak, lamb chops, turkey fillets, chicken thighs and pork loin fillets.

The buffet restaurant is like sitting with battery hens.

Drinks at the bar were refreshing, we had a meal there and it was great.

Staff were excellent and the restaurant and food are exceptional.

Room: big, clean, with sea view, frigobar always filled with complimentary no alcohol drinks and water.

We used the downstairs over-flow restaurant and enjoyed eating outdoors which is really recommended as breakfast can be busy.

The food was really good and well presented.

Everything about this hotel is faultless from the amazing staff, great food,  fantastic location this hotel is definitely one of a kind and we can’t wait to return for a second visit.

We like to have a drink and chat before our meal,

though , we wanted a better choice of Spannish cuisine offered.

There are bottles of water provided each day and there was  beer, coke and apples in room on arrival.

The dining room has lots of food for every need.

I am gluten free and they had plenty of options for me to eat and all staff were very knowledgeable.

Wow what a lovely hotel from start to finish excellent staff food brilliant and the cleaners are fantastic food great I had my birthday today and they got me a bottle of carver and a cake pools great we have enjoyed it rooms all just been done

but while we've enjoyed the room, the view and the sunshine, the hotel, in our opinion, presents a superficially positive appearance but is belied by the reality.

Room request for high floor and overlooking Rock were accommodated.

We booked a double room with balcony through TUI.

We were checked in by a nice guy at reception and went our room 431 which was a standard room without a balcony.

So lovely to have little treats every night in the room, chocolates, extra slippers etc, so kind.

The rooms are of a good standard and cleaning is adequate.

We had chosen a sea view room, certainly worth the extra since the views of the Calpe Rock were breathtaking.

Would recommend  you get a balcony  room as trying to dry wet swimming stuff is difficult.

Beautiful hotel that has quality and comfort for guests who stay here. Our room was beautifully presented and a superb sea view ( spend the extra, it’s worth it !)

The room was really big with an enormous comfy bed and pillows.

Despite having booked an exterior room we asked if we could book and pay for an upgrade

Loving this hotel, our room is everything you could wish for , spacious, spotless and comfortable.

AC worked great and room always lovely and cool.

You receive a complimentary glass of cava as you go into dining room for evening meal each night.

If we were to go again we would pay for a sea view room with a balcony as we only had the balcony with hardly any sea view.

but on arrival as it was my wife's birthday we were given a balcony sea-view room.

We had booked a double sea view room and a high floor, room 830.

The view from the room was simply breathtaking and our balcony had 2 very comfortable armchairs and 2 sunloungers so an excellent place to relax, enjoy the sunshine and take in the beautiful views of the rock and beach.

The room is lovely, we had a sea view room and found it to be worth the extra.

Rooms  are spacious and as others have said the seaview rooms are lovely (cost additional €200 ) although there was some buiding work opposite

It was a first class experience from the sea view room we were allocated (739) to the eventual check out after our 7 day stay.

Wonderfull view on the sea from the room - Exceptional breakfast with all you can think ( cava - bloody mary cocktail - .  )

Our sea view room was well fitted out, and very comfortable.

We paid a bit more for the sea view room and was not disappointed.

The sea view rooms are worth paying extra unfortunately we couldn’t get one.

The bar staff were brilliant creating wonderful cocktails at your table.

Check in was easy and reception staff very helpful.

It is spotlessly clean and all the staff are great.

The ladies do a marvellous job refreshing your room every day.

The staff are attentive and kind, being respectful and generous.

Both have shower gel and shampoo dispensers, again a nice touch.

Lots of 'un usual' touches make the hotel a little bit different.

Every evening the team come around the rooms again with a free little gift , nice touch and ask you if you need more water etc. .

Rooms very clean and comfortable with nice touches of toiletries, water in the fridge daily, generous supply of bath towels.

A nice touch was there isn’t an extra charge for using the safe in your room.

A lovely touch was the little treats/ gifts that we received on a daily basis and the little tasters provided in the beach bar and coffee shop.

The complimentary drink from the bar was a lovely touch!

nice touch! we were able to relax on the loungers on our balcony as the weather was absolutely gorgeous 19-21 deg c everyday (not bad for Feb, lucky or what!)

Room is great, lovely black out blinds, massive and super comfy bed, water replaced every day and a nice touch with a free bottle of cava on arrival.

Loved the little freebies in the room, also the snack bar from 4pm was a nice touch.

We were celebrating an occasion and the staff had added some lovely touches to make it special and memorable on arrival.

A few humourous touches (like the "typical welcome mat") show that this is far from an ordinary hotel.

There is a view across the beach and sea towards San Antonio and Altea from the balcony absolutely wonderful.

My room was clean, compact, had a balcony which had a sea view and over looked the pool, all acceptable

The hotel itself is very clean , we found it luxurious , laid back and sophisticated.

The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms were spotless and cleaned daily.

Clean and modern, king size bed, good shower, TV had English channels.

All facilities were clean and the only problem with our room was it was near the road which was very busy so noise was an issue.

Beautiful hotel rooms light and airy spotless with lovely bed linen.

They are so clean, security on board, air con and even charger ports for your phones.

Hotel is probably one of the best we've stayed in, we had a standard room which was immaculate and great walk in shower!

Visited Cap Negrat for a week gorgeous hotel immaculate.

It was very cold the week we were there so we never went near the pool

The only thing that could be better was where the bar is and the entertainment it’s cold we would have stayed longer to listen to the singer as he was very good

The hotel got very cold at night due to the amount of glass.

but that included changing time also and the jacuzzi was cold, the steam room also was not up to temperature as was the sauna.

* One consequence was that we regularly had to sit near to the restaurant door and subjected to very cold (January) draughts.

I see that visitors have been complaining for years  now that the food is cold and yet you still haven't resolved  what is a pretty big issue.

However, as another reviewer has pointed out - the situation with the cold food has made the stay much less enjoyable.

Cold food, wearing gloves and queuing is too much for what should be a restful mealtime.

The hotel was lovely staff were very helpful, food was good ,my only complaint would be that the food was not hot enough,sometimes it was just cold [they clearly are aware of this as there were microwaves set up to use!]

The infinity swimming pool area is clean spacious and overlooking the beach.

Pool area is great with fabulous sea views.

Pool area was also nice, overlooking the sea, and with a decent size pool.

Room was perfectly sized with up to date deco it had a fridge, kettle, coffee machine and a great view over the the pool area and out to sea.

Myself and my son came to Cap Negret Hotel for 5 days march 19th to 24th.We had a side sea view which also looked out over the pool area,lovely large pool bit chilly through.

An infant pool features at the rear of the pool area alongside some Love Island style day beds.

And it may appear so in the lobby and the pool area.

We would definitely go back to this hotel with the pool area and access to the sea it's definite plus.

Location of hotel was great ; right on pebble beach which we all loved and added to our adventure, and a short walk to the shops and promenade along the beach or on the main road .

The area is lovely, Altea has a promenade and an old town which the hotel provides a free shuttle if you need it, if you are ok the it’s a nice 20 minute walk.

Altea old town and the promenades are a must visit also albir is really nice and bus/tram ride away.

For the commercial centre carry on in the same direction till you hit the shops or, alternatively, turn left on a pathway that takes you under the main road and on to the beginning of the beachfront promenade.

although breakfast was lukewarm.Alteas a lovely place with a lovely promenade, also the walk up to the old town and the church is a must do.All in all we had a lovely relaxing peaceful holiday.Different class of people to some holidaymakers in Benidorm.Im no snob and I love Beni,but this was hol was Fantastic. 🤗🙂

Turn left and in 10 to 15 minutes you are in a pleasant Spanish working town with a lovely promenade.

All in all a great hotel and only 10 mins to the promenade.

You have the choice of walking along beach, first 300 yards or so on pebbled beach then a nice promenade with some 'interesting' sculptures takes you to the front with countless bars and restaurants.

At the promenade stop you could take the number 10 bus to Albir or Benidorm for 1.50 Euro.

Once at the town there is a long promenade down to the marina area lined with shops/bars/restaurants and plenty of shops in the town itself.

There is an everyday free shuttle which takes you to sea promenade or Altea famous church on the hill.

We were bed and breakfast so ate either there or on the promenade, loads of restuarants to choose from.

Right on the beach and a 10-15 min to the old town, with a brief section along the main road before you slip onto the sea promenade.

I returned at 4.30 to join another queue.

Depending on the time you choose you could be queuing for some time,

At two nights, during entertainment, we had to wait 30-40 minutes before getting our drinks served.

At 8am there would be a queue of at least 50 people waiting for the dining room to open.

Don't bother waiting for replacements you will be there a long time.

We arrived as part of a group of TUI customers around lunch time and then had to queue for 45 minutes to book in ( rooms are not available until 4 pm) and we then had to queue again for 15 mins at 4pm to get our keys.

Only negative is sometimes when queing to go in resturant can be waiting quite a long time while staff at desk sorts the bill for someone who has finished meal.

Angela the yoga teacher also great.only complaint, they should start dinner earlier.twice we had 2 queue for 30 mins, then missing most of the shows in the eve.the ones we did see were all amazing.i do think they shouldn't use props & signage eve with ABBA!u then expect people dressed up singing .

The staff in the restaurant were curt and rude and the queuing at every meal is really not acceptable in a 4star hotel it was very busy mainly due to the very restrictive meal times and the ridiculous way in which the doors never opened a second earlier than they should have done you stood outside watching the staff looking at their watches until the very last second.

However, if you want to take this bus costing €1.60 pp then walk out from the hotel, turn left, over the bridge, at the 4th set of traffic lights turn right and look for the No.10 heading towards Benidorm on the front of the bus.

but you might want ear-plugs, or to keep the air con on, if you’re a light sleeper, due to traffic noise.

There is music playing, you can hear it more if you’re closer to the pool bar

Bed slid around on floor every time moved and could hear scraping sounds from upstairs (probably their bed), room bland

but the noise and how busy the dining room was put us off a little  .

although a bit noisy if you want a window open.

They did this by sitting around the guests and being very noisy unapologetically.
