They had free shuttles to transport us to and from the villa and also to and from the adjacent Taj Holiday Village.

but if service standards deteoriate across the chain then would be opting out of planning a holiday with Taj

Taj fort Aguada …what can I say about this hotel.. have been coming here for the last  35 odd years and still feels nothing has changed in terms of their hospitality .. the food , the rooms and most importantly the courteous nature of the staff.. 
it’s always been the Taj n it will always remain like that.. 
the meal we had in the Banyan Tree restaurant was outstanding .. the lunch that was prepared for us by Chef Debyendu and his team was out of this world.. 
the breakfast we had in the village was fantastic.. 
all in all it was a fabulous holiday which we didn’t want to end..

The views our absolutely mind blowing and the best part is one can - travel to the nearby Taj Holiday Village too using their own free shuttles so one can enjoy 2 properties at the price of one..even the breakfasts are interchangeable!

At the restaurant Vincent offered us the best service and we love Devanand from Taj holiday Caravela.

Amazing, Unforgettable and Memorable relaxing holiday ever had.

When we had breakfast at the Taj Holiday Resort, the Chef there too - Mr. Gopi - had arranged some amazing gluten-free and vegan dessert.

The courtesy drop to Taj Holiday Village is a welcome addition.

This was my wife's best birthday celebration ever and a most memorable First Holiday for our Baby ( 10 month old ).

there are so many people to thank - from the valet, doorman to the chauffeur that took us from our room to the lobby .Thanks taj, couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

Visited their pool, coffee shop as we were staying at Holiday village.

Extremely poor support to help with reservations and bookings.

We were met in an unwelcome and unhospitable manner, we were offered poor menu and my husband requested not so spicy food because even my husband used to spicy food could not eat this horribly spicy food.

I have never experienced such poor service from Taj in my life and would highly recommend any one to NOT stay at this property of Taj and its not worth the money or the Taj name.

butter chicken to a Delhite, dry starters, improper mixed batters to make fish and poor quality apples in the name of complementary fruits to guest with rusted knife.

The service at check-in was poor as well with no welcome drink or greetings.

Did not expect such poor experience from TAJ even after paying huge amount for room bookings.

The restaurant was clearly understaffed and the service poor.

Two most important component for a staycation are: food and comfort.

The Buffet  was not that good   and the Taj should give some  discounts to the  EPICURE CUSTOMER OF TAJ FOR dinner and  Lunch  overall the experience was very good and the reception staff was very good ,helpful and co operative

The all day dining restaurant and the crew is awesome and i can promise that they will full fill all your requirements.

The views from the room, the cleanliness of the facilities, quality of food at the restaurant & courteousness of the staff helped make the stay a good one.

From the generous gesture of upgrading our room as we were celebrating a birthday in the family, to the dozens of staff who would notice when anything was amiss, even when we ourselves would not have done so!

The hotel staff made it special by decorating the room, a cake and a gift.

House keeping and Front office staff, Nilima, Rubina and Abigail were so caring that they celebrated my birthday and my son's birthday 3 times in different styles, with live music, Cake, gifts and decorations in the room, the personal touch given to my stay by the staff has really made my stay memorable.

In view of our 32nd wedding anniversary and my B'day, the property was kind to give us a complimentary room upgrade with an ocean/sea view.

The private beach felt safe for the kids to make their dream sand castle and being so close to nature.. the sound of waves just outside of my room was therapeutic.

Sea view rooms gives you an exceptional view of the vast ocean/beach.

The Sea View rooms do have amazing views of the sea.

However the sea view from the room was excellent.

This was my first time at Taj fort Aguada, had been in June 2022, the location was awesome, had booked an ocean view room ground floor, which was like too good.

Our room was upgraded from a garden view to a Sea view room by the staff , was decorated when we entered with gifts and flowers.

located on the very edge of the breathtakingly beautiful Goan coastline, the view from our room alone was enough to render our holiday our success.

The only drawback for us was - our sea facing room was quite a walk from the main lobby & restaurant .

We heard back from the hotel regarding refunding the difference between the value of the sea view and the garden view rooms

What I loved about my stay in Taj Fort Aguada is that it's hospitality is incredible.

It was our baby's first visit to Goa and he thoroughly loved the experience - the welcome cake to the other gifts the staff kept showering him with almost every day.

The trip was special to us since it was my 4 month old daughter’s frist trip and we were celebrating my wife’s birthday,

The time we reached the hotel, they wasted no time took us to the villa , even did the checkin procedure over there which seemed to be quite amazing, got a red carpet welcome with some fire crackers, a decorated room which felt like home, the staff being thoughtful gave us steriliser quite a useful thing with a baby, with few gifts for my wife and the baby, this was a day before my wife’s birthday.

Highly recommend sea facing cottage & villas for families as they truly reflect the Portuguese architecture and heritage.

You have access to beaches, fort view and private spaces to play and activities to look around whole day.

he allotted us a beautiful huge villa overlooking the Sea and with a beautiful private garden for our leisure and for my son's activities.

It was great and amazing stay, rooms are neat and clean , food is very delicious and yummy, room service is fast , restaurant food and service are great, staff are very helpful , specially Vijay from restaurant and resume from front desk , both are very nice person , such a great stay, memorable and unforgettable.

The weirdest part of the rooms was that the rooms had an internal door opening into the room right next to you 😳 (but these doors were ALWAYS locked out) 

Anyway, the pool here is good,

Had to rely on housekeeping to open the doors. 7.

There's a small gap slit in the doors (Atleast in our room 232).

Rooms very dirty, lock on door would not work.

On the negative side I felt the room upkeep could be improved - balcony door scraping the floor, confusing light switches, restricted menu for all day and a location that is awkward to locate.

First of all, that is not the time when you come to clear the room when the sign outside the door says "clean the room" from 8am.

The only issues I faced was when my Door lock malfunctioned and when I saw insects in my room..

They don't even have door mats outside the washroom area so whenever you step our of wet Washroom you'll be afraid of falling down.

The next the we faced problem with our room door lock.for that we had to wait for more than one hour outside the room 11 pm in the night.

At the time we visited, there was building work next door so could hear drilling etc during the day.

Dont cater for international  guests..British..A huge hotel  being built next door noise is shocking !

We were so scared that we did not open the door.

Luckily I was in and we could get the door open.

Rooms are poorly maintained - ours had loose door hinges, broken toilet seat cover, broken window curtain, loose electrical sockets and extremely poor acoustics.

On checkin had issues with room like fan not working bathroom door latch not working.

however if you like to stay at the hotel pool I would recommend a different hotel while the building work is being completed next door.

Then there is the building work going on next door, major as in what looks a new hotel being built, The thing for me was that some buses refused to go down the road to the Hotel so you are dropped off at the end of the road and left to pull your cases down the road to the hotel and same on the way back about 3 to 4 hundred metres, when we left I asked at reception if they could help with cases to the bus they said no there was no transport to the road end, my thought was that is what the golf buggy was for ???

Building work going on next door which starts early and is noisy 7 days a week and.guests are sat at bar near pool been noisy past 3am.

Next door they are building ,so at times it's tap ,tap  away.But it's not too bad anyway.

We stayed with family of 3 (husband, wife and 4 years kid) in July first week of 2022.

My son enjoys a lot in the kids area and we saw other kids enjoying there too.

Hotel is surely good with different services of food, swimming pool, gym, kids playground and 1.3 km from Calangute beach.

Pool was very good and narayan pool boy helped alot. .

Would like to call out some names: Payel and Prema from the restaurant - they would always ensure that my little one (1 year old) i swell seated, feeling well, would pamper him always,  Resham from the front desk - lovely warm hearted girl who would ensure you are all happy with your stay, and Head Chef Shiv Vishal - he ensured that my 1 year old had his kind of food.

The pools are great for the kids and food at the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Stayed in ibis for the first time, so Happy with the hospitality provide by the reception staffs, room was amazing, we used the gym as well, kids was very happy at pool and kids area, resham Kiran and majbul special thanks to you guys.

I stayed for 5 nights and 6 days with my parents and 2 teenage daughters and had booked 3 rooms with the hotel.

It was amazing stay with ibis style, my family and kids both are satisfied with the hotel hospitality.

The Warmth and affection towards the kids is what led us to never wanting to step out for a meal.

As a Self-employed tour-opérateur in EU this staff, accommodation, food, swimming pool, Gym, the important breakfast (tremendous lavishly compared with other EU ones) are really far-out!
