however that couldn’t be far from the truth every sing staff member we encountered were absolutely Fabulous they were polite and was always on the ball with drinks if you an empty or near to empty glass they would come straight back over and ask if you would like another one.

but would have appreciated more lively entertainment in the evening.

I loved all the pool games and aquacise was Brillant, certainly better than my classes in the UK!

We had a great time and would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were able to play tennis free of charge (other activities may be chargeable).

Entertainment is important to us, the website says that the entertainment wouldn’t be out of place at the west end and offered glitzy evening shows, so we thought it sounded perfect, we are a fun loving couple ….

Facilities are lovely , we spent most of our time in the activity pool and the children took full advantage of all the activities on offer and they loved every minute of it.

Our daughter has used the kids club a couple of times and loves it… they have different themes each day and do activities.

I enjoyed the archery and poolside darts and boules.

The family activities during the day are great and my daughter loved the kids club.

We went into the family friendly area a few times and it’s a completely different ball game and I wouldn’t rate that more than a 3*.

The yoga instructor made me feel very rushed and insisted that all the participants put their heels to the floor when doing a  deep squat.

But I WOULD still describe it as excellent, and a definite step up from 4* TUI venues I’ve stayed in.

This would ensure that all children can play these games?

There are also some good activities elsewhere on site albeit very poorly advertised - who knew there is a 36 hole minigolf free to guests.

Other family areas looked really complete for a different sort of stay (map showed a farm, sports facilities and more)

There’s the protur club a couple of minutes walk from the back of the hotel which has clay tennis courts, archery (very  enjoyable) and other sports.

Safe to say, due to our lack of ability to get up to the pool (unable to take pram up due to staircase) and so unsafe for our little boy to use the rooftop facilities, we didn't get to us the rooftop pool,

My children were shivering when they got out and the staff refused to heat them before the 1st October when we were due to leave. Horrendous!!

If you are due to be there soon you will have an epic holiday, I don't doubt it.

but it was very hot due to the new air con rules.

( A formal complaint has been raised with TUI)

/ARRIVAL

We unfortunately arrived in the early hours of the morning due to the delayed flight,

I do believe that a holiday experience will differ due to a number of factors

Last night was disrupted sleep due to a bell hop/ porter trying to enter our room by mistake at 3 am apparently on the wrong floor.

We noticed a few issues with people obtaining cut feet in the pool due to loose tiles, my son found pieces of sharp loose tiles floating in the pool, we informed the lifeguard

Service

The reason I can’t give 4 stars is due to the issues with the service.

Not enough staff overall.. impossible to swim due to the huge inflatables, I even witnessed a man take his child for a wee in the pool !

We read a lot of reviews before visiting this hotel and was a bit worried due to negative comments,

Only cons would be evening entertainment in the adults area is lacklustre however there are bars close by, also as it’s new and probably due to Covid the staff is limited so service is a bit slow

Having not been away for 3 years due to covid thought we'd treat ourselves to a luxury holiday,

but due to the amount of toddlers we made the decision to cancel the booking for the Italian restaurant.

No information is shown around the hotel, presumably due to COVID.

An hour later, there was still no taxi and our flight was due to take off in 3 hours, the hotel is an hour away from the airport.

Lack of wine glasses - serving wine in tumblers due to glass shortages.

Yes, I booked this hotel due to false advertising.

Finally I would also advise be vigilant when in the pool as we had it closed due to someone having a pooh in there so you may want to keep an eye on that too.

Resulting in us being locked out our room at our toddler’s bed time
The kids pool isn’t warm enough - our 1 year old was shivering 
You have to buy a 2 euro swimming hat for the spa - resembling a primary school swim class
The spa is drab and generally not a 5* experience 
The gym has rusted weight plates and equipment that is doesn’t work

It is absolutely devastating for us have no holiday for years due to covid.

We would like to mention a few staff who made our stay extra special for their attention to detail, friendly service and dedication to their work, BIG Thank you to Fabiola Ferrer and Alianny Diaz at the evening adult only bar and Benito on maintenance.

It is excellent and the staff could not be more friendly.

We met a number of lovely people and found the family side very friendly and enjoyable, our 2 1/2 yr old grand daughter loved her first foreign holiday and made lots of friends too.

The staff were all very friendly and attentive and the evening entertainment was good for the kids, particulalrly the Playhouse Live at 8pm.

Reception were very polite, friendly and informative upon arrival, the rooms (family) are very spacious  and clean, minibar stocked and restocked with soft drinks, rooms cleaned, bar staff friendly and helpful, all inclusive drinks fab, food great (and I have 2 fussy veggie kids).

Staff were good, the service was quick and they were all very friendly.

Beautiful hotel, reception on arrival friendly , welcoming with a glass of fizz what more could you ask for to start your holiday.

It’s modern, clean, staff are all incredibly efficient, friendly and hard working, the rooms are beautiful, the food is amazing (we’re vegetarian and were particularly worried).

From arrival the staff are so friendly and polite and they all work extremely hard.

Staff were always friendly and the restaurant staff in the al a carte section were always working so hard to keep up with the empty plates and table changeovers.

The hotel reception staff were efficient and charming, all the staff were friendly and hardworking, especially the buffet staff who were tireless in cleaning up tables and getting your drinks, and the bar staff were efficient and friendly.

Everyone we spoke to was very professional and friendly particularly paying attention to our two young children.

though 

There were some good points; food was ok, good range of alcoholic drinks which all used branded spirits and there were some nice friendly staff in places.

You don't need to worry about buying premium brands as what is on offer is fine.

Food in both the buffet and A la cartes were great, all 3 A la  cartes we tried offered great tasting food and service.

I raised my concern with reception and we were offered another ala carte meal.

We tried the a la carte restaurant's, all offered outstanding food and service, we rated them all equally.

On arrival, the old reception block looks tired and came across a little fusty, not a Sensatori start to a holiday, although the reception service was good, and included a lot of detail about our stay

The adult block has recently been added into the offer here, and therefore is still establishing its grounds,

The grill in the day offered snacks (burgers/hotdogs etc)

I recall being offered sparkling wine or a drink at other sensatori’s which was such a nice touch

Yoga class- 
I do yoga frequently at home and the yoga classes on offer were part of the reason I booked the resort.

We were offered a drink (cava or orange juice).

but our favourite was the international buffet due to the selection and variety of food on offer.

My advice is, if your kids don’t like what’s on offer at the al la cartes then you can always take then to the buffet afterwards.

Note that you need to collect a voucher from the Biomar reception in order to use the mini golf.

We were offered a space for each the day after.

It was a lovely respite for us and him - he would have been bored without the variety that offered, and also gave him respite from the heat a bit.

We enjoyed the music at the adults only bar in the evening, we both commented that it would have been nice to have some nuts or Olives on offer at the bar prior to dinner.

The children’s food counter is appalling, dry pizza and burnt chips every day and night, luckily my daughter likes lots of fruit and as such eats plenty and it is nice, as long as you like Melon & Pineapple, they don’t offer much else.

It would be lovely to be served nuts/ nibbles with drinks at the bars as previous hotel stays have offered.

The room is open plan and so the bathroom is open, I can understand why some people would struggle with this

We arrived back at the room, the front door left wide open,

It had an open plan living, sleeping and bathroom area with a double sink and bath; the shower and toilet were separated by a glass door.

My only one complaint is the bathroom which is open to the bedroom so you can see everything when someone is showering or in the bath.

People were putting towels reserving beds before they were open at around 7.30-8.00am which meant by 9.00am there were no beds left.

Boutique shop was never open, had to get receptionist to call her mobile if she answered, one day the manager was so rude to us about it!

Just come here with an open mind and not expecting anything.. you are meant to be on a holiday!

As others have commented the large open space inside the rotunda seemed without atmosphere and to be wasted.

Lobby - there is no reception in the adults only lobby, and as impressive as it is with its open circular layout, it’s a very empty space void of any atmosphere or function.

We found a lot of the hotel just wasn't open.

I would say that the hotel information was limited and this should be better, we had to guess or ask others about where to eat what was on or what time things were open.

They were half full despite being told they were fully booked we were told at reception Asian was only open 2 nights a week!!!

Service: There was a very bad smell outside our room (akin to an open sewer) so that it became impossible to use our swim-up.

The pool bar which is left open at the front into the water had some idiot climbing in when it was shut.

Health and safety issues a plenty, nothing open apart from buffet and Piano bar for first 3 days, freezing cold pools, not heated as promised.

The Green & Grill was open for snack in the afternoon

but it only serves snacks the same time as the lunch restaurants are open.

is closed on Mondays (unsure if this will change in the summer months as given it is only open 10am-6pm it does seem odd).

All local staff we spoke too said that the biomar was the best hotel in resort. Overall, we have said we would come again next year (from oct 1st though!)

Pros
Staff - lovely, more specifically the hotel staff, they couldnt do enough to help and our little boy was charmed by them.

The waiting staff were absolutely delightful, kind, caring and considerate all the time.

Food was amazing, staff were amazing, rooms were gorgeous, pools were amazing!

The grounds were really clean as I said every staff member that walked passed smiled and said hello.

The food was excellent and so were the staff.

On our arrival, we were greeted and directed to our room.

A big thank you to all the amazing staff who work incredibly hard and made our holiday very special.

This was very well done and deserves Acknowledgement.

The staff were always polite, hugely hard working, and efficient.

The singing was amazing by the in-house team.

All above was reported to reception and they were unsympathetic, they sent a cleaner and repair man for one part of the decking.

The bar staff around pool work tirelessly and  amazing.

We literally couldn't fault the hotel - the staff were polite and attentive, the quality and variety of the food and drinks was amazing, everywhere was so clean and immaculately maintained.

All in all an excellent holiday and I cannot praise the staff in all areas of the hotel.

The location was great and a 10 minute walk to the beach was lovely.

Food - lots of choice, able to book at the restaurants easily
Location - situated within a ten minute walk of two lovely beaches.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, and a nature reserve type thing that you can walk through.

The castle opposite is a pleasant 1.5 mile walk and there is a cafe and nice views when you get there.

We walked to S’Illott and Calla Millor, the latter having more shops and cafes.

The 4 a la carte restaurants are in the family part of the hotel, which was absolutely fine, it was nice to walk across to the other part.

There is a sports facility located behind the hotel, it’s about a five minute walk away; if you ask at reception they can provide you with a map.

At most we walked to the small town of sa coma for a short wander.

It is a short walk from the beach, and it's accompanying bars and restaurants. Quibbles.

- great location near 2 beaches and a nature walk opposite which is beautiful to walk around.

We did a walk to Punta de n’Amer  which is definitely worth doing.

Sa Coma beach is a 10 min walk from the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel which is spread over a large complex with a 10 minute walk to the beach.

- You are 5 mins walk from local shops and 10 mins walk to the beach.

We  walked to Cala Millor one morning which was great for a bit of shopping.

Also a first all inclusive where wrist bands are not worn, anyone could walk in from off the street and give a room number!

Lovely hotel worth staying, we stay for a week wish it was longer staff very friendly and very professional.

Bar staff/Restaurant staff etc, again all were helpful and friendly.

All the staff are friendly and helpful, especially on reception.

I went in September so mostly adults, and it was a very friendly hotel.

The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff worked extremely hard, they were also very friendly.

but this wasn’t a problem as was always served very quickly by friendly bar staff.

Just got back yesterday from this hotel, it’s lovely so clean and staff are so friendly, special mention of Victoria and Elaina (Hope I’ve spelt it right) on reception so helpful nothing is too much trouble for them and young chap on reception too, the food was lovely something for everyone, rooms are lovely overlooking the pool, cleaned every day too.

The good stuff :-
We went for 2 weeks in June, the hotel was lovely and so was our room, all the staff were friendly and helpful.

However all the reception staff were so helpful and friendly.

It was lovely to see it back open post Covid, with lots of familiar faces as well as lots of friendly new ones.

but the caretaker/groundskeeper was also very friendly and chatty.

There are signs up, about not reserving sunbeds  with towels before 9am.

but any towels left unattended before 9am are removed and this is a system that works.

If left unattended before 9am they get removed so people send one family member down to sit with them until then.

They didn't understand what I meant and it took 3 members of kitchen staff to answer my question and then the restaurant manager seemed to have a quick word with them before asking me iff my meal was ok. ( I presume he was the restaurant manager, he was friendly and there at all times ) After that, they put signs on meal dishes showing a carrot and another veg (or something like that ) to tell you it was vegetables

but on our return the floor was wet again but there was no ‘Wet Floor ‘ sign or mat put down in place, unbelievable !!!

Really need a warning sign about wet floor being so slippery.

While this is a selfish holiday maker tactics, the hotel could have a policy to remove towels from vacant loungers after say 09:00 or 10:00 in the morning to stop this behaviour.

There is no warning & certainly caught me out.

It’s a problem for a lot of hotels so - I haven’t got an answer  other than the hotel saying towels before 7.30am  - will be removed.

Noise so intrusive can’t sleep Until the entertainment ends at 11.30pm

Hotel has ‘no plastics’ policy hence no water bottles issued, powdered milk in rooms with tea coffee facilities..FARSE hotel still uses plastic drinking straws & issues copious amounts of disposable plastic cutlery at pool bar & paper cups..- this supposed environmentally supportive policy of theirs therefore is ambiguous we felt more about saving money by not issuing bottled water!!

The fridge is quite useful if you remove the shelf otherwise you can't stand your bottles up.

The only downside was that the sunbeds were very close together and unfortunately towels were being placed on them as early as 6 o'clock in the morning and no-one was there to remove them as the pool didn't open until at least 9 or 10 o'clock.

All the signs about reserving sun beds were ignored - they were nearly all reserved well before 9.00.

Sun beds I must admit was a joke some people were putting towels down as early as 0130 I did complain to reception and was told it was easier to handle the few complaints about it, rather than the many about towels being removed.

people where using the same serving spoons for all the hot food and dropping the spoon etc in the food dishes, the ice cream scoop was just dropped in the container, food was left on the floor under the tables where the children had dropped it, nobody thought to clean it up.The drink machines clearly says do not remove the glass / cup until it stops again people took no notice so the  area was covered in overspills.

even though signs state children should be accompanied to the buffet at all times again parents with no interest in their children or fellow travellers.

There are plenty of sunbeds and there are notices about not reserving sunbeds before 09:00 which obviously get ignored, the hotel was not fully occupied while we were there so there was no issue

We differently will be back well done to all the staff and tui rep for making our holiday great, from Tina & Maria

We stayed at this Excellent Hotel from 30th Aug to 6th Sept, Everything was superb, Reception staff, The Bar staff and the Restaurant Staff.

The animation team were absolutely brilliant!!!

We are half way through our 1 weeks stay, Excellent, food, staff all 5 star.

It's our 2nd trip here and went back because of the positive holiday we'd had before..our room was spacious and well maintained.

A day trip to La Reserva (small water park) is worth a go, as if you are a Protur hotels guest you can pay a reduced rate for access (14 euro per adult and 7 per child) and you can also continue to use your all inclusive privileges whilst there.

but you can walk to the nearby fort on the point between Sa Coma and Cala Millor or the remains of the prehistoric buildings at S'Illot if you want to get away from the endless supermarkets and bars you can also go on a boat trip or take the bus to Porto Cristo and the Caves of Drach.

Always going for 4.5/5 trip advisor reviews.

This was my mum and dads second visit to this hotel (after their first ever trip abroad 5 years ago) 
Our week was outstanding!

It was an £8 return trip for the two of us.

The guide Raphael was very funny and knowledgeable and Palma was well worth the trip.

Overall a lovely trip in a very nice clean hotel.

If you do go to Sa Coma we highly recommend a day trip to Proto Christo, 2 euros on the bus, a nice little town for ambling around and within 10 minute walking distance of the town centre are the Caves of Drach, as must see attraction..

Outside of the hotel is good, boat trips are a stone throw away aswell as restaurants and shops just outside the hotel.

Very close to the lovely Sa Coma sandy beach, bike hire across the road, boating trips, water sports and activities nearby, some shopping and small markets nearby.

Trip on the little train to Cala Millor worth doing.

Beach is only a 2 minute walk and the moonshine boat trip for 22 euro was really enjoyable and good value .

This is a nice hotel catering for families and older couples in a good location and well placed for day trips to Porto Cristo and Calas Millor, Romantica & Ratjada.

Will definitely be booking a return trip.

The safari zoo is quite a good little trip if the weather isn’t too great.

Our Tui rep Karina was very helpful and her customer service skills were outstanding (always smiling and happy to help) she suggested a variety of different excursions for us to try and I truly recommend the boat trip!

Stayed on opening week with my husband as a last minute trip away for some sun.

We are used to there being multiple pool areas and sunbathing areas, with just one row of sunbeds by each pool, this was not the case at all and was quite uncomfortable
-sunbeds not the most comfy and we witnessed on two occasions the sunbeds breaking beneath people.

The bed was uncomfortable as too hard and the pillows very flat

Coffee could be better, the pool a little cold and the beds were a little uncomfortable for me.

However my one complaint was that the mattress in one of the theee rooms we had was so hard it was really uncomfortable!
