Good hotel , great staff always helpful , room always cleaned .Nice and close to the beach .The only let down was the food it was warm and pretty tasteless a choice

The location is good giving it's by the beach and the shops etc and the fact that they do alcoholic slush is also very good.

The only good things i can say about this hotel is the staff was friendly and only 2 minute walk to the beach.

This year was our 40th wedding anniversary and we were looking to book somewhere nice and sunny and near a beach for an end of summer break to finish our anniversary celebrations. Having read lots of reviews about the hotel, especially the negative reviews, (I feel it is good to see what to avoid etc.)

The staff were all lovely, the hotel was clean, the food tasty and plentiful and the beach was just a minute’s walk away!

Awful hotel only good point is it so near to the beach.

The hotel is located a very short walk from the beach and also within plenty of shops and things so you never needed to travel far for anything.

The beach is 5 minutes away and is lovely.

.. We had a day hiring bikes, and went on the cycle path to Porto Christo, take your swimwear the bay is beautiful

The 30 second walk to the beach was also ideal.

The location was right in the centre of everything of shops, beach, bars literally seconds away from everything which was lovely !

The hotel is situated very close to the beach, so you can simply enjoy time on the beach and go back to the hotel to have a meal, as is very close walking distance.

A great basic all inclusive holiday resort, this resort had a brilliant location and access to many areas including the Safari bus stop, tourist bus stop, local bus and a minutes walk to the main beach.

He stayed half board as we never go all inclusive wherever we stay as enjoy using the local bars and restaurants  and there are loads local.

The hotel is two min walk to the beach and close to local bars and restaurants.

San Miguel lager available in all inclusive and local alcohol not too bad either, would definitely return.

Couldn’t even try any local cuisine, it would appear that nothing is cooked on site from fresh/scratch, no imagination on the desserts, frozen chocolate profiteroles almost on a daily basis  and very repetitious almost every day.

The location is great, very close to the beach and the local shops.

We went to one of the many local shops for a decent breaky each morning!

Would totally agree with recent reviews that hotel has very friendly staff,is in great location with food and drink of more than adequate quality and choice.No entertainment in hotel in evenings which I think they are looking to offer later in the year albeit numerous local bars have live music etc.

Very helpful reception staff who gave us a map & told us about local shops, bars & restaurants.

but this wasn't a problem for us as you can have a Few drinks and go enjoy the town whether it be shopping or finding a local bar.

It is in a perfect spot handy for local restaurants,  bars and shops and is only two minutes walk to the beach.

but you can have as many as you want and staff are very generous with the measures of the local spirits ,all the the staff are excellent ,so friendly and one of the reasons we will return to this hotel,Fran on the bar is brilliant,there is no entertainment here unfortunately but if there was would have to charge more ,very happy with this excellent budget hotel.

In terms of Location, value for money, cleanliness and the excellent staff, as long as you remember it is a 3 star hotel and set your expectations accordingly, it is a great place to stay.

Again, set your standards in line with what you're paying for.

If you choose Cala Millor as your destination you should certainly book the Blue Sea Cala Millor as you wont find a better hotel for the money you pay, we had another fantastic holiday.

but self catering and would take more money to eat out and to go out for evening entertainment .

We thought it was a brilliant idea as you get it changed every time and when you leave you get your money back.

The hotel is kept immaculately clean and is very good value for money.

I liked paying for the plastic cup as it meant everyone took theirs back to the bar the pool area was very clean and tidy.

All in all, we enjoyed our break and thought it was good value for money.

My only advise would be to not book all inclusive as you won't get your money's worth and there are lots of lovely places to eat and drink with a great view of the sea!

Myself and my husband booked this hotel for a little break away, last minute, hotel wasn’t that good, pools really small, main pool was always busy so we spent most of our time in block 2 pool, little and quiet, there was no music played round pools, sometime there was round main pool

Doors slamming, loud sex noises and general hullabaloo

We met some lovely guests there by the pool..Folk from all over Europe.

Plus the hotel evening bar is on the corner of the street next to the hotel so we knew it would be very loud in an evening when the music was playing.

but found it was for younger people A  lovely beach but hotel in our block was old, tiles falling of walls, not double glazed so constant noise from night arrivals/departure and loud party goers!

The room was opposite the lift which was constantly used, the lobby music is LOUD and on all night and the room was small and dingy with no double glazing.

but unfortunately, after this experience I doubt we will ever return, the noise was especially bad the first week, we actually felt threatened just by the fact it was drunk folk causing all sorts of carnage, waited 3 years to get away and relax, and you get clowns like that destroying it for you.

THERE IS NO ENTERTAINMENT HERE IN THE HOTEL, at the bar where you pay outside the hotel theres a disco a  dj with very poor english playing majority german songs with a small dance floor where people dance, in the bar in block 2 there is a English radio station on playing songs, so if you like to staying in and watching entertainment then this isnt for you.

however sometimes the repetitive and overly loud music by the block one pool is draining.

Unfortunately the police were invited to site every evening on our 4 night stay to deal with stupid and overly drunk Brits
Night 1 - ridiculously drunk Geordie so drunk he was drooling gets arrested and fined (not kicked out tho)
Night 2 - woken at 3am to a woman screaming after being arrested for trashing her and her partners rooms and getting into fight with another guest
Night 3 - Brit got so drunk he couldnt stand up, fell and cracked head open resulting in ambulance and police again - i really did feel sorry for them

Never went to bar in evenings for drinks or entertainment was very typical all inclusive, very loud and if that's what you like then it's definitely right up your street.

night time entertainment wasnt for hotel members unless you paid for your drinks to sit an listen to german pop music played by a pompous german dj.

With this meant the noise at night time was high and loud, alot of drunk teens youngsters and club 18/30 style behavior (sex acts happening on balconies that my ypung teen boys found amusing much to my horror).

Also, the hotel is very close to a disco place and on Saturday it was so loud, we couldn't sleep until 2 am.

Don't go expecting any British entertainment, the bar adjoining the hotel on the shopping street played awful German dance music until late at night.

He played uno with them and piggy in the middle with them in the pool with his clothes on.

The hotel rooms are very clean and housekeeping do a very good job at cleaning for us.

We had a very enjoyable holiday staying at Blue sea Hotel , our room was very clean and I would like a big shout out to the cleaners who worked from sunrise to sunset keeping everywhere so clean.

Lovely and clean every room has a balcony.

We had a ground floor room in block 3 the room was clean and plenty big enough for the 3 of us.

Our room overlooked the pool, and the room itself was very clean and airy.

Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Very pleased with the room and view, rooms very clean and cleaners visited daily, never known this before in any hotel we have stayed in, usually 2/3 times a week.

3rd Blue Sea hotel I have stayed in and this is so far the best 😁 Fantastic break away for my 50th birthday with family, lovely clean room with sea view, bed very comfortable, shower leaked a lot and so lefty a musty smell in the bathroom, and bathroom was a bit small

The rooms were very clean and spacious, plenty of shower gel in the dispenser and clean towels provided each day.

The room was very clean and at the beginning I did not have none channels at tv.

A fantastic 4 day  all inclusive stay  in the main block the hotel exceeded our expectations the reception staff were welcoming and helpful the beds were very comfortable  and rooms very clean breakfast was super lunch and evening good choice always something different to choose the chef was very friendly.

No evening entertainment if you are all inclusive at all, the speaker used for
Occasional music in day is removed at night so you are sat with no music or anything if you want to use the all inclusive you have paid for.

Unfortunately there is no evening entertainment, we didn’t realise this, so made a big impact on our stay, can’t beat a bit of bingo and entertainment on holiday - there is another bar attached to block 2

It does have a couple of small faults though, there's no evening entertainment and when you have paid for all inclusive you don't want to have to go out for the evening at other venues and have to buy your drinks elsewhere, it defeats the object.

I wouldn't go back to this hotel as everything was geared towards the German guests & the actual resort was very German orientated with entertainment at the Blueside bar attached to the hotel totally focused on German we listened to their show every evening from our balcony & in 7 nights we heard 4 songs in English,

If you aren’t planning to leave the hotel then the food can become quite repetitive and there is no entertainment in the evenings.

Only disappointment was that pool entertainment not on at weekends

The entertainment isn’t aimed at English guests

Entertainment was basically for the German population and was situated at the end of the hotel, this is not all inclusive much to the disappointment of all that were staying there, yes you had to pay.

but in the evenings there was only one option, which was a German disco.

There’s so much going on in the evenings in Cala millor that it really doesn’t matter that there is no hotel entertainment for British people.

No entertainment other than a lady who does some pool activities during the day and an area called blue side

however we felt let down by the poor choice of food in the Restaurant and the lack of entertainment ( most people that we spoke to in the 2 weeks we were there agreed that it spoiled their holiday )  .

One gripe is there is no entertainment for the British tourists

Also, there is no entertainment which we found a bit of a disappointment.

and he DJ didnt provide any English entertainment so the music got quite annoying after a while.

The room wasn't very big & still had woodchip wallpaper on the walls with old fashioned wooden window frames & balcony door.

cigarette burns on furniture, holes in bath, marks on walls, toilet that moves - not pleasant.

Walls are paper thin though,  could hear the karaoke from the bar in our room which thankfully ended at 11.30pm.

No space to even move, mirror rotten and crumbling away, sink falling off the wall, mould all along the silicone of the shower.

Families are put in the rooms next to loud young people, and walls are very thin.

This hotel is basic and the previous reviews about the walls being thin are true, you can hear conversations and even snoring from the rooms next to you.

The rooms are small, thin walls and watching TV at night we get a bang on the wall from the room next door if the volume went any lower i might as well stick my bloody ear to the tv speaker, take the TVs off the walls and put them on a stand plus put a fridge in the rooms no place to keep drinks cool.

Sadly as I am 75, it was impossible for me to use shower/bath in my double room as the shower screen was bolted to the wall and was almost the length of the bath!

The walls are so thin, so any chance of a lie in past 8am are completely out which was disappointing.

However the not so good points the appartments that we were given was the white building opposite from the main hotel the walls in that block are very thin and let me tell you i could hear people going to the loo and having a bath.shower, we could hear coversations and even mobile phone messages coming through.

The walls are not very thick and you can hear people next door and people coming in and out.

but were clean and that's the most important thing - we didn't plan to spend any time in the room so was not an issue - although I was surprised and disappointed there was no hairdryer - not even one fixed to the wall!

They are run down and look nothing like the La pinta web site.The walls are so thin you could hear a mouse fart 3 rooms along also if you like dark wood you will be impressed.

Husband then discovered that the box on the wall behind the door was actually the controls for air con, relived is not the word!

although the walls were quite thin so I would definitely suggest ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

There was no lift or offer from male receptionist to carry our suitcase up the steep concrete stairs so I struggled to pull it up myself.. and when we got to the room it was no wonder because he must have been so embarrassed my the state of the room,  it was filthy! After majors delays leaving Dublin followed by 2 hour wait sitting on a bus waiting to leave airport we arrived at 4am
The guy who check us in was nice enough

Ask at reception where the bus will pick you up - we just about made our pick-up! !

Lovely towns local (cala millor and porto cristo) porto cristo is a harbour and cala millor is a lovely toury town and its only a 10 minute bus journey to each from the hotel its around 2 euro each to get there 😀

The hotel is 2 minute walk from a lovely beach and great bus service to take you to nearby towns.

Bus stops that takes you to other villages near by is only down road from playamar and there is a safari bus witch is free to take you to a small safari zoo we also visited !

Had a great stay here again, location is good, close to shops, bars, beach, bus stop and taxis.

Good central position to other resorts all within short bus ride.

There is a pretty good bus service too, running to all adjacent towns like Cala Millor, Calo Bona, Porto Christo, Manacor etc etc.

They even sorted out coffee and sandwiches for us at 3:30am when we were waiting for the bus to the airport.

but to my horror the banana's were all brown, soft and gooey and past there best, I ended up buying my own fresh fruit form a local fruit shop near the bus stop, and as for the oranges well let's say no more apart from the fact that most supermarkets would throw these away.

There is also a nearby safari, which sends a free bus transfer through the town hourly every day and drops you at the safari - where after you have purchased your tickets, you simply transfer to a waiting safari 'train' which takes you through the brilliant little facility to meet the animals.

but i was worrying for nothing,It  turned out to be a very relaxed & peaceful  little place Very Courteous receptionist..We went self catering  & although the Apts are basic we managed grand, Safe Hire available & Cleaning services  & linen changed regularly,with great pool views.The fabulous beach is only a short walk away,bus services locally & cheap taxi fares also.For those staying Self Catering there is a Eroski shopping Centre about a good 25 minute walk & food /essentials are a lot cheaper than most of the local Spar shops.

I spent a week here and the staff were very helpful and friendly.I missed the transfer bus and arrived one and a half hours late

Its the usual self service buffet with a rather unique (to us anyway) self clearing table service also, where a couple of trolleys were positioned in close proximity to several tables, into which all  guests (well, most - there are always a few who do not conform) were required to deposit their left-overs and plates / cutlery.

There is a complimentary transfer bus from the promenade in S'illot out to the 'Safari Zoo' a few times every day.

We took the free bus to the zoo which was a good day out.

The hotel staff can hardly speak english so was unable to help with getting around the island i ended up going out and asking other tourists for information at bus stops and going in to another hotel for a bus timetable, the area where we stayed was nice and lovely places to visit especially the caves in porto christo,

On the plus side the hotel is fairly clean, it is just a short walk to SA coma and a short bus or mini train ride to calla millor!

The hotel is on top of the beach, shops, bars and busses.

There was a couple of bus stops a few minutes walk away which took you to Porto Cristo - for the caves for €1.80 or to Palma for €9.80.

Stained toilet, cracked sink, cracked floor tiles, ice flowing out of freezer with no door on.

Very noisy at night with other guests banging doors as the walls are so thin.

A young couple were placed in the room next door to us, don't get me wrong i have nothing against them having fun,

If you’re thinking of coming here I’d strongly suggest requesting a room at the front of the hotel as the pool side is insanely noisy all night long and with no  aircon the doors need to be open.

With the room not having aircon it was difficult to keep the room cool without having the balcony doors open with all the noise.

even though you had to close the door to sit on the tiolet as it was so small.

once we found the annex and got into our rooms which was 105 and 106, room 106 smelt of stale cigarette smoke as soon as my parents opened their door, they had to buy an airfreshner to try and freshen up the smell a bit.

-didn’t get bit by mosquitos and slept with window and door open cos no AC
- when complaining about the bed/ac & no fridge we were told €20 for one and I said no chance.

We found out when we arrived at the original hotel at 5pm with just a note on the door telling us to go to this hotel with no directions.

After reading some of the reviews we have been jamming a chair against the door whilst asleep to try and put our mind at rest a little.

found our room, we had an old fashioned door key I thought wow not seen that in a long time for a hotel it’s normally a card.

The walls between rooms are very thin.We could hear next doors tv and conversations very easily which was annoying at times.

My wife and I stayed 5th to 15th June, we were given room 4H ( I had requested a high room via e-mail) in and adjacent block with our door overlooking the pool and balcony over looking the beach and bridge to our left.

The next day we went back to reception to be told that we were given the wrong room key and shouldve been in the room next door!

Room was large smelled like an old peoples home, had cracked tiles the bedroom door stuck against floor no light outside door had to use phone to see lock.

Our apartment was facing buildings not a nice view, and when you wanted to go to the pool you couldn't just walk out the door and straight to the pool you had to walk around the block to get to it.

No toaster or kettle, no hairdryer as advertised and both locks on our external door and patios we're barely unlockable, awful to imagine if we needed to leave the room in an emergency.

The door had been broken into at least three times judging by the forced entry points on the door.

It was so warm even closing over the bathroom door to use the toilet was sweltering.

We had free wifi, because it was special offer when we booked and it worked much better compared with other hotels that I stayed before (also in rooms and by pool) .

No one was reserving sun beds so no need to get up early as there was still plenty free at 11am.

The young lady in reception so pleasant she even give us a free lunch because our room  was not ready

The pool bar was excellent and had a free disco most nights.

Positives is the food isn't bad, pool is nice and always lots of sun beds and table and chairs free.

The apartment was clean and had a good view, fringe was a good bonus too.

There are lots of Spar shops around, so you can buy virtually anything that you would usually buy at home, such as Echo Falls wine, Pampers nappies, gluten free bread, baby wipes, baby milk and food etc.

The balcony overlooked the pool and we also had a sea view which was a bonus.

as for a complimentary settlement  she gave us 3 free dinners as we came self catering.

Internet was free for only 10 mins a day and paid if one wanted to use it longer.

Didnt have to pay for safe which was a bonus.

No snacks provided during the daytime, all you got during the day was free drinks.

The living area/ where kids slept on sofa beds had air con

Pizza and chips and chicken nuggets being the main meal even the kids were sick of it after day 3!

Then the noise a kids disco at 10pm then the dj said music until 12pm.

Booked here on a cheap getaway for my 82yr old mum,my 18yr old daughter and myself,(52).

The ‘adults only’ pool had children in it constantly.

The thing that annoyed me the most was the noise, particularly when 60 children stayed horrendous

but adult pool has no bar but kids does which is odd wanting to get parents and kids hammered 
Breakfast I'm Irish and found of Irish or British style sausage but I like Spanish bacon when cooked however editable nice bread roll and a very slow toaster small selection but grand for the price 
Managed to eh up grade myself to a purple wristband aka the pinacolda band which is worth it as drinks are exspenise so on tap cocktails with enthustic pouring bar man is ace

One day some kid was sick in the pool and nothing was done about it, lack of staff around so noone was available to clean it.

although 1bpoll is supposed to be adults only it was full of kids
We went B&B kitchen area and food edible after all it is 2*

disappointed that the settee/ couch was made up as a bed not really suitable for a child.

I have therefore complained and my holiday company said I had hot water after 12th funny thing is I have time stamped video evidence I didn't so with two young children here is,my big issue no washing facilities and then being fobbed off with false promises and now,blatant lies I'm disgusted in your hotel and it is,such a shame because its actually a nice hotel and very clean

We came with our two daughters, 11 & 14 booked an apartment room, not the latest tv or furniture

Went here for a family holiday from 1st August for 2 weeks on all  inclusive for 4adults and 4 Children rooms very tired no air con

•	Kids beds failing apart and missing random parts – unable to use it for sleeping.

I do not understand why the hotel welcomes families with children .

The entertainment consisted of one guy who tried to keep the kids happy for about an hour every night.

but people (mainly the spanish) were taking no notice of it and kids were in there.
