The rain had overwhelmed the towel and come under the poorly fitting door (you could see daylight under the bottom of it), creating the puddle.

There was always a clamour for sun beds - the hotel only opens the poolside doors at around 10am, meaning you can have breakfast first!

8) sun beds - Yes you have to get up and wait at the doors from about 8 am to get a sun bed.

The snack bar was ham and cheese through a side door where nobody could find.

No doors on the wardrobes, reminded me of a cheap travelodge.

You have to queue up from 8am to reserve a sun bed, as soon as the doors opened you’d have grown men running up to sun beds with several towels whipping them down.

The furniture and tiles are very old, the entrance door worse than a warehouse, I found the broken window in the bathroom, only one glass in the room for three people and the worst.

Opening the doors to the balcony all privacy was out the window.

We entered the apartment and it was like going back 30 years, the apartment was very dated, we were on the ground floor and when I went to open the patio door, it felt like the glass moved and was going to come out .

Unfortunately we had smokers both sides so kept the doors shut.

The staff at Resturant door that should be happy and great you look like they waiting for bad news and don’t want to be there.

The balcony door did not open unless it was picked up by both ends and slid across as it did not open on the sliders.

If like sitting by the pool ,the doors open to pool at 9 am to avoid people putting towels on .

but there usually was a queue by the door from 8.45 ish, but sure it would get bigger the fuller hotel was, Quite a few broken sunbeds around the pool ( first one I sat on was held together with zip ties) , not many parasols, but generally very clean.

The wardrobe door was broken and the kitchen cupboards didn’t close properly

The walls are thin so you can hear everything from the rooms next door, and the rooms face the pool /stage area, so the level of noise on an evening is loud!

There was mould around both air con units

Live wires on the patio door where the air con connected.

This could all have been avoided by simply popping a note under our door with a check out time on,

The doors to the pool opened around 8:50 when there would be a queue of people wanting to grab prime sun bed spots (at least there was nobody going out at 6am to put towels on beds).

General all-inclusive offer with plastic cups that you pay a €1 deposit on.

And very unprofessional  raising his hands up in the air telling me he don’t know when I was coming and when I was talking back to him he walked away from me

It is a minor annoyance that the coffee/tea machines are only switched on at breakfast, so it means you can only have an espresso after your evening meal is you get it from the bar in the plastic eco Cups!

The one euro for the returnable cups meant that the pool area/bar area were tidy.

Bathroom - great shower - towels replaced if you leave them in the shower, some are tired and ready for replacing - great little hairdryer attached to the wall by the sink

Hotel - communal areas always being cleaned and look fresh and welcoming, great location

Pool - we liked the pool area - 1 euro refundable plastic cups are great for cold drinks

The rooms need an upgrade and could do with a kettle in them when you’re over the road from the main hotel.

We had to rent a kettle which was €10 deposit and €2 a day to make our babies bottles, the kettle itself wasn’t clean and we had to scrub the inside as little chips of the pan were coming away and desperately needed descaling.

Desserts  only jelly mousse  or ice cream sometimes cake.No glasses or cups in room.

No cocktails and 1 euro for the plastic cup so no mess around the pool.

THE TROLLY another problem I have …,there are staff who work in the dinning room they are there to make sure the tables are clean for the next dinners and get the trolly of dirty plates etc into the kitchen ..,THEY are NOT there to empty YOUR table of several full of plates pilled high with uneaten food etc …if you fetched the plate of food then MOVE IT .

but the cup holders on the beds were quite dirty and some beds needed replacing.

Good system, there were no cups lying around.

There isn’t enough sun beds for the amount of holiday makers, definitely not enough sun parasols and you’ll need shade.

No other information like paying a € for cups, facilities etc.

although the drinks were served in a plastic Eco cup which you had to pay a euro for and got the euro back when returned your cup.

1 euro deposit for your plastic cup for drinks and also to be used throughout the evening.

but would prefer glasses and cups in the bar area.

All Inclusive was limited and meals were poor.

Anyone who says the Apartments are ok must have poor standards.

Finally, some of the previous comments made by guests in respect of poor service etc we did not encounter at all.

Have to walk to hotel for meals,ice cold drinks and such poor entertainment.

This i had to do to prevent any other poor person wasting hard earned money on an appalling hotel.

We ate out 6 of the 7 evenings, snacks during the day very poor.

Food of poor quality same most nights and very salty.

Entertainment was a little poor, effort 10/10 however games were a little dated. We had a great holiday despite the flaws

The entertainment was bad , One poor man on his own all day and night.

The welcome and service from reception (xamira) was very poor and rude ,and the personal hygiene I hate to say was low!

Food is poor, often repetition of meat potatoes and chips.

The food is poor, somedays it’s your typical Spanish all inclusive and others it’s horrid.

The food on the whole was very poor breakfast very limited as the food is one of the main part of your holiday.

The food is not the same standard as the rest of the hotel, don’t get me wrong the food is not poor, it’s not constantly of a good standard.

Food is rarely hot, not much choice, no kids food(pizza, nuggets), poor quality meat, questionable chicken.

We were very satisfied with the choice made with this hotel - kind, helpful staff (from the reception, kitchen, bars, entertainment, caretakers) , large and clean rooms, varied and tasty food, discretionary and free parking spaces throughout the resort, perfect for us!

The room was clean, spacious and light and had a view of the swimming pools, we had 2 rooms together which was a great comfort for us as our son and his friend could sleep in the next room.

Stayed here for 1 week with I can't complain about anything the hotel itself looks newly refurbished nice clean decor throughout the hotel resturant and sitting areas are always clean the room was always kept clean.

Special mention to the cleaners who ensured our room was spotless each day.

10) rooms - the room was clean and beds comfortable.

Rooms were very clean and well maintained.

The hotel and room itself is really clean and spacious, we stayed in a junior suite and had enough space with a tv, fridge and sofa bed.

Rooms were clean and modern with a fridge and TV (disney plus) an added bonus.

Our room was spotless, fabulous aircon and a proper power shower!

Maids cleaned the rooms daily towel change on request ,as stated hotel is very clean both rooms and public areas .

This hotel is well run, clean and the rooms were spacious for a family of 4.

Perfect location stayed a week with my daughter for our birthdays had a lovely relaxing week , staff are lovely and helpful spacious room and very clean everything u need for a relaxing holiday we will book again

but doesn't feel chaotic busy unless in restaurants at peak times if you go at right time they're quiet.

The pools are extremely noisy and busy, no problem with the amount of kids, as it’s a family hotel.

but that’s only because of how busy the hotel is.

but we just found it too busy and the food didn't really hit the mark for us.

Only one that’s a decent depth is the jungle pool which isn’t massive so can get very busy 

Sofa beds not the best, ok for small children

It was very busy in the restaurants and had to queue to get in a few times.

but we wouldn’t come back - maybe if it was running at half capacity - but for us it was just too busy.

however, it was FAR too busy and hectic for my liking and definitely not a 4*!

It has 600+ rooms (so imagine 4 people in every one of those and you'll start to get an idea of how busy it is particularly around the pool areas), more sunloungers than I've ever seen in one place!

Our understanding was that those on half-board had two meals- breakfast and dinner yet were always seen during lunch-time, which may perhaps explain why the main restaurant was busy during lunchtime's.

Protur on the weekends seem to bring in large Spanish sports groups, so the already busy sports and restaurants are even busier, it doesn’t seem very fair on paying hotel guests, the facilities are over run with the sports people and families.

However the main buffet areas were extremely busy - although there were 2 main restaurants there only seemed to be 1 open most of the item,

Staff
Staff are a credit to the hotel, not once did we have a bad experience with them, always greeted and paid attention, even managed to make our little one smile.

We also visited the waterpark across the road from the hotel, we had to pay 43 euros for a family of 4

The "ALL INCLUSUVE" ROM in the bar tasted and smelled worse than bad corona hand sanitizer
Even ordered "and paid for" a BACARDI bot I's sure that it wasn't BACARDI in the bottle.

We couldn't eat here and ended up having to pay to eat out which is so frustrating when you've paid for all-inclusive.

but couldn’t get down to the glass bottom it was so small and just felt like a ferry picking people up rather than a boat trip and ended up costing over £100.

You purchase all inclusive thinking you will not have to put your hand in your pocket when you arrive - only to discover that you have to pay for everything here. Extra costs include - €10 deposit per towel, minigolf €10 per adult, any decent alcohol, any other kids entertainment (like go karts, motorised boats, decent ice creams.  )

My main disappointment was the water park which I felt was very expensive for which is essentially two small slides and a pool.

If you want a 4/5* then expect to pay a lot more.

This ruined my holiday as I don’t agree that a land view should be the same price as a pool view.

I don’t rate the beach, small and crowded.

You have to pay for anything that didn’t cost the hotel more than 10p.

In all seriousness this is not a great resort at all, in fact far from it especially for the price!

Ps also added a photo of the review that said there isn’t a cracked tile in view- these reviews must be paid for reviews because it’s plain lying at this point! !

Reservation water park is expensive for what it actually offers.

On the first night we all had to stay in one room and checked out on the second day, tui have offered us £30 of the £957 paid and the hotel haven’t even bothered to respond!

Never stayed at a hotel A.I that had so much that you had to pay for on top!!

Only paid about €30 euros and that included the food and drink.

On arrival we paid for the tax and safe deposit and for the pool towels which you get back apart from the tax .

You need around €14 to pay for a 2x sun lounger/locker/and brolly for the day, or you can take your own things.

There is also some small rides, a racetrack (both at an extra cost) and some trampolines for children.

The rest of the days you had to queue at 2pm to see what was available.

We never had to queue longer than a couple of minutes to be served.

but honestly pretty good would of went twice if we’d been bothered to queue again to book.

On a 10 day stay we queued & never got a slot.

You can waste a full day of your holiday queuing.

Cons 

The restaurant booking system is a bit ridiculous, it’s kind of a mad rush where half the hotel ques at 2pm to try and get a table and even in September we only managed to book one night at one so spent others at buffet or had to eat out

I didn’t drink a lot because I don’t know if I was just being fussy

The bar staff worked so hard so you was never waiting very long.

If you think you can get into one of "special restaurants" forget about it unless you want to waste 2hrs a day queuing for a chance of a table.

Top tip: if you get to the bar and you see someone has been waiting, don't be a plum and wave when the bar staff ask who is next.

In our block there were often queues for the lifts as only one was working, we just took the stairs

The closest to safari you’ll get is feeling like an animal waiting to be fed your meal at one of the buffets.

….you had to queue for over an hour to get a booking in any restaurant other than the buffet.

For breakfast we were there by 9 at the latest every morning and whilst busy we never really had to queue apart from pancakes once or twice.

however people start queuing at around 12:45.

never had to queue and wait for a table I was very impressed.

We didn't queue for the additional restuarants

Some days we had to queue to get inside, around 15 minutes before the sitting ends the staff start to close some of the food stands though, so if you prefer to eat late be there is often less choice.

Which unless you want to queue for an hour to reach the booking window, only to be turned away as they are full, then no, you don't have access to the restaurants.

The bar workers worked so hard - for it being a big busy hotel we never had to queue for a drink.

Friendly  Welcoming hotel  great for family, couples good  amenities  especially for kids  good  food  and entertainment, rooms  spotless had lovely stay.there is little train stops  every hour outside to take  to near places ,hotel offers Italian cuisine, goa Indian cuisine, tex mex nights

The room was clean and had all the facilities one would expect of a hotel of this star rating, and to qualify for it being an 'Aparthotel' came with fridge, kettle, microwave, and enough crockery and cutlery for the number of people in the room (3).

The buffet restaurants were also fine and food was really nice and plenty of choice - tex mex at dinner time is really good with burgers kebabs etc 

The rooms were clean tidy and modern .

This hotel is the best we have been to the hotel and rooms are clean and the food is lovely, I think it is absolutely brilliant for the price, we were never stuck for choice there is so much selection at all meal times!!

The hotel is clean and the rooms adequate- having a fridge and microwave was ideal with a young family.

- The room was clean, comfortable and relatively quiet.

but the site is not detailed and does not provide all information ie iron availability, checkout requirements, entertainment, towels etc.

This consisted of changing the towels and removing some of the rubbish.

The last 2 weeks in August and never had an issue getting sun beds, up at 9.30 for breakfast and dropped towels out while walking to the restaurant.

It is also one of those resorts where the customers get up at about 7am to put their towels out on the sun loungers and then don't use for most of the day.

The cleanliness of the hotel is nowhere near 4star, especially the rooms with the maid service only changing towels, making beds and thats it.

but suffer from overcrowding and people reserving sunbeds with their towel all day.

- everything is DIRTY, from the towels to the bedsheets
-the room didn’t get cleaned once!

however if you needed a few near each other you’d need to get up before 7.30 to do so as towels were down well before this.

but the hotel should have something in place to remove towels for unoccupied beds.

Beds were never an issue because we would put our towels out around 7:30.

but like other people have said, they don’t change the linen just make the beds but our towels have been changed.

Here is a summary (not exhaustive) of the reasons for why we did not enjoy our stay:

You are only allowed two beach towels per person throughout your stay.

Also, the cleaners were useless not washing the decking, changing bed sheets, and didn’t give fresh towels.

but as they allow people to reserve loungers with towels,if u are in a group of more than two people u won’t be able to sit together or anywhere near the pool.We was hoping maybe the food would be the one thing to be pleased with but unfortunately it was by far the worst element of it all!!!!

but I rang the reception to request some extra towels and they were brought up to us straight away.

Most days the maids came they didn’t leave enough towels and toilet paper, its boring having to keep calling reception just so everyone can get washed.

[  ] Does feel like Ryanair at times with all the added costs (paying for a safe and iron which should be standard for a 4star, deposit for beach towels, electric boat etc)

The meals were always hot i really enjoyed their soups  .There wasnt a huge variety of food or puddings.It is a 3 star hotel and you get what you pay for.The bathrooms could do with an update

Door didn't open properly in bathroom, it kept getting stuck!

Really, really limited space for clothes and toiletries can only go around the sink in the bathroom as there is no shelves to store them on.

The drinks you can’t get cocktails on the all inclusive so had to settle for the red vodka slush…the blue taste like mouthwash!

Mould in one room as air con put in upside down.When asked for clean sheets was told no.

Rooms needed some TLC in terms of new bathroom grout and the odd touch up of paint

There was tissue left under the bathroom sink and a large stain in the bath.

but out of anyone control was our air conditioning unit was leaking bad through ceiling and down walls, to the point of docking towels and floor and walls and keeping us awake filling up a bucket.

We hadn’t used the shower today yet so don’t understand this

The bathroom had a toilet, bath shower and sink, again was small

Not to loose you cup at the pool side or leave it in the loo. .

Our room had the soap dispenser missing, our childrens had no shampoo/gel in the shower. 3.

Once the room was ready, we went to settle in and we found balls of hair on the floor, dirty bathroom and stained sheets.

The food was super basic and a lot of it not very nice, some of the food was not cooked properly which led to us taking trips to the bathroom.

Food- The food choices were poor and the quality even worse.

So I write this on our last day at the hotel,  we first stayed here 10 years ago and let's just say it was an experience, poor food, the apartment room was in a bad state of repair.

The food…I’ve never before been to a all inclusive with such a small amount of food to choose from!We ate out every single evening as the food was poor!

but in comparison to other mid-range hotels we have stayed at, we were very dissatisfied with the poor breakfast options and the coffee.

but not enough storage for 2 people, air conditioning very poor hot all through hotel.

but had to eat out several times due to the lack of or the poor quality of the food.

Before coming we read the reviews about the food being poor

Our only let down for this hotel was the very poor quality of the food i think we were the same as most people here it cost us a few euros each to eat out most nights.

I have read every one else review and still all you do is a good job of blaming the tourist  for your really  terrible poor service.

Food is very tasteless cold & poor choices.

however, was representative of just how poor the food at this hotel is, I can only describe it as the worst buffet of frozen leftovers I’ve ever seen!

Snacks during the day, outside of these times was quite poor and mostly non-existent.

Entertainment is bingo at 9:30 followed by a few hits on the karaoke so quite poor.

The room is very poor and dirty we asked to be clean again

Next morning reception was busy and at the pool we chatted to guests and the general conversation was how poor rooms were and how small and how poor the food was.

The nighttime entertainment is poor, and i think you’d get incredibly bored just sat in the hotel for a week.

Been to this hotel loads of times and really like it to the friendly staff to the food which was average, only disappointing thing was the AC very poor and temp wouldn't go below 28c which I complained about and could of been sorted by the hotels computers to be cooler

Clean rooms and bedding/towels changed during stay.

We found the staff very friendly the bar staff often joked with us they are all very hard working accross the hotel .Our room was kept very clean during our 12 day stay bed and towels changed regularily beds and pillows comfy .The pool area was a bit tired badly neading new sunbeds and more if possible .
