There is a station where you can order an omelette and they'll cook for you on the spot.

We ate primarily in Lyra, the Adults Only restaurant, and found that there was a good selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Buffet restaurant - there wasn’t much variety of food, especially not for the children who were given chips/pasta and rice every night.

There were many great things about this hotel, including the variety of food at the buffet, the high quality drinks made with branded spirits, the sweet treats on offer at Thea's cafe and access to heated pools (when staying in October).

Rooms always cleaned to a high standard and mini bar topped up every day.

We ate in the Italian and Greene & Grill of an evening, both delicious, amazing service.

The mains dishes were not at all repetitive over a weeks stay and we found that there was no need to go to any of the a la carte restaurants as the buffet was so good.

The Indian A La Carte was really nice and made a nice change from the Adult only Buffet.

The hotel is split into two parts, an adults only building/facilities including a pool and pool bar and the family side with buffet resteraunts in both.

FOOD - 

The buffet in the morning was random roulette of the same food every. single.

The buffet restaurant offers a wide variety of food with different themed nights.

Food- 
We ate at both the à la carte restaurants and the buffet restaurants.

THE BUFFET RESTAURANTS PRESENTED THEIR FOOD TO A VERY HIGH STANDARD.

Both times we had a junior suite with balconies. The kids using the fold out beds in the living area and a sliding door between sleeping areas (which is great!)

Only thing that could be added is proper child locks for balcony doors as my 3 year old could easily open them.

Had frosted glass doors in the toilet and shower,

however my Children next door had to sit outside whilst the other was getting ready.

The toilet was behind a frosted glass door which wasn’t lockable so our daughter would just waltz in or you could be seen sitting on the loo.

The shower door did not close properly, meaning when having a shower water would escape and leak onto the bathroom floor.

As soon as we opened the door we were once again greeted by the smell of cigarette smoke.

Apparently there was a glitch in the door digital do not disturb sign and took 4 infuriating days for the message to get across!

but more so UNHYGENIC having them try to run in the inside of the restaurant every time the doors open.

Family suite was a great size with a sliding door between bedrooms
- the main/kids pool is great with a splash area for little ones and plenty of loungers, with a mix of parasols, sunny spots and covered seating.

but we all had to share just one double sliding door wardrobe.

We had an issue with the lock on our patio door which was resolved on the same day.

There was no door separating the bathroom to the main bedroom which meant every time my step daughter want the toilet or shower I had to go to their room.

There was a sliding open-slatted ‘door’ which did nothing to hide the view.

There is no lock on the toilet door either.

but were unable to, so we went to do this at reception on our first morning and were initially told there was no availability for at least one of them, but they then said they'd put a slip under our door if it became available, which thankfully it did.

but we were only offered the room next door which seemed pointless so we stayed put-and just made the most of the main pool. The room issue has not put us off returning though as I guess it’s just luck of the draw and everything else is 10/10 we have just re -booked for next year whilst still here , but we have opted for a different room type next year ( swim up with garden view adults area as these are ground floor ,  pool facing and seem to have the sun from around 9am to 5pm)

but finishescat 11pm and the design of the bathroom you either need to go as a couple or very good friends as there is no privacy whilst having a shower and only a frosted door for the loo.

The bathroom was beautifully decorated with a bath and separate shower, two sinks and a toilet behind a frosted glass door.

Fruit is another big love of mine and again a criticism I have of most all inclusive is that the fruit selection is often poor and not fully ripened - well not here!

However, the food offering at this hotel is poor and if you’re looking for quality this may not be the place for you.

The negative reviews are a really poor reflection of the hotel and all it has to offer.

I was worried it might be a bit rough around the egdes and, because it's buffet style, the food might be poor.

I had paid extra for a room with a pool that I could not use, I was worried about the health of our unborn baby and my poor fiancé ended up breaking into tears because she had to hide inside the room all the time whilst on holiday.

Be aware that the Asian and Indian are indoors with very poor aircon.

Lots of space, big bathroom, comfy beds, only downside is that the air-con is poor.

It stank and looked like a dead animal one family member came back with athletes foot, two with conjunctivitis and an ear infection- my go said all down to poor cleaning standard in water/pool.

The only other bar in the resort (excluding the show area) was the Piano bar which was cramped, again a poor layout and like sitting in a white PVC conservatory.

Overall

Lovely days and early evenings were clouded by sleepless nights and evening ‘balcony time’ once the kids were asleep was wasted spent searching and chasing cockroaches and emailing the hotel who were poor at answering the phone or responding to the issue until escalated to the manager.

The jungle show is poor as it has no story line and is just bizarre.

Their buffet timings are also really poor.

Tui will not address issues of poor hygiene, dirty facilities, damaged and run down rooms, dangerous damage to our decked area, dirty plates and cups.

The entertainment in the Adult Hotel was very poor

- food in buffet and a la carte is mixed - some days good some poor selection and only one man staffing the hot food.

This is meant to be the snack option between restaurants opening so again a bit poor.

Entertainment - very poor - despite being a tui blue hotel, we found there was very little in terms of entertainment for preschoolers.

I found at times the resort lacked soul, the entertainment was either acceptable or very poor and aimed at the older generation.

We only ate in the hotel in the main buffet so it was from the hotel.

The Entertainment was amazing the energy they had was just spot on, The food was plentiful and plenty of  variety.

The buffet at the restaurant caters for so many people and do a grand job of providing lots of variety and clearing tables etc.

The beds are rock solid and we all didn’t really sleep much, the next morning we went for breakfast it’s was very average, not much choice?

Sunbeds were plentiful allowing us to always get a group together for the day, and most pools always have the sunshine throughout.

Im a really fussy eater and I managed to find something to eat every meal time and the food was edible.

but it was so yummy, better than we have at home!

There are 3 restaurants also, we eat at the Asian which was buffet style and the Italian which was starters and deserts buffet

We are literally on our way back as I type this, 
And even though we had an ok time the hotel can definitely do with some improvements/tweaks 

Food- 
The food does have a fair bit of variety I can’t complain about that breakfast lunch and dinner were always ok,

Various pools to suit different peoples needs, simple clean rooms with daily service, entertainment team work tirelessly day and night and put on some great activities and typical buffet food which as a group of 9 we all enjoyed.

If you like fried eggs you will quickly take a disliking to the chef that does the eggs and omelettes, I say let him to the omelettes and get someone else to concentrate on fried eggs and poached eggs.

but they were all really delicious meals.

We booked the Tai and Italian ones and when we arrived at the Tai discovered that it was a self service buffet which looked very similar to the usual choices

The food is good,  the drinks plentiful and the staff are great.

You are allowed to reserve sunbeds from 8am and most people did on their way to breakfast and went straight back to their reserved sunbeds straight after so not really an issue.

but they don’t open until 6.15pm so that’s cold.

We were told there was cold food if we were hungry?

If I had to give Amy negative comments my wife thought the air con wasn't cold enough

It was tasteless, cold and just a poor poor quality.

but again out of the control of the hotel so not sure why some reviews say the pools are too cold etc.

Breakfast had omelettes cooked whilst you wait, full English, fruit, cereals, cold meats/cheese.

The Chinese is a buffet and the food is cold, and the main restaurant Is extremely poor quality and even the selection for kids is limited.

The outside “hot tub” was absolutely freezing cold.

but not very warm or sometimes just cold.

- the kids splash pool was unfortunately too cold for my kids to use,

Just became a bit repetitive and cold unfortunately.

In my view avoid unless you like warm or cold food.

The Asian food was horrendous and so salty and poor quality.

Cleaning staff were not thorough at all and our bed sheets weren’t changed our entire holiday

Food was awful, Luke warm, repetitive, poor quality and fried fried fried.

We ate at the Thai restaurant which was the only place I got a decent cocktail and the food was ok, just like an average Chinese buffet, and we had to cancel our Italian reservation due to the sick bug. The drinks are poor and disappointing - the wine is completely undrinkable and the cocktails are not good (and I can assure you I am not usually fussy!)

The coffee and hot drinks selection is poor.

Entertainment- i have read a lot of poor reviews.

Then, there are those reviews that are poor.

Entertainment was also poor - the kids stuff is very repetitive

The cleanliness of the hotel is poor, lots of flys and thousands of mosquitoes.

but when your not even sat there and notices everywhere saying can't reserve before 8am was really poor.

Cocktail selection is poor on the all inclusive.

The drinks on offer in the evening were poor, it would have been nice to have a larger cocktail selection on the all inclusive.

but also poor points which detracted from the overall holiday experience.

The food was poor and not much choice in comparison to other all inclusive hotels I’ve been to.

Location and staff can’t be faulted

Beds were poor (had better cot beds), food and drink was sub standard considering the cost.

Quality is poor, food not good, beds (kids moaned too hard) pool small and over crowded (photos are very well taken to portray this resort) accommodation unwelcoming and smells as soon as you walk in accommodation block and hardly any air conditioning, non in the gym or restaurant!

Food in the buffet was average most days and poor on a couple of others.

The bedding and all our belongings were constantly feeling damp.

Adult only pool cabanas had black mould growing on so a health hazard.

Also I love a cocktail and they were disgusting, for paying thousands of pounds to stay here, its terrible they can’t even give you a decent cocktail, you have to pay extra if you want one made up, the ice cream machine wasn’t even ice cream it was ice pop, the kebab stall was awful too, my kids basically just had to buy snacks from the shop which was more money when it’s meant to be all inclusive, I would definitely never day here again!

Our room smelt damp, the bedding always felt damp, and the pictures in the room have dots of mould in them, room for improvement there.

You’d be mistaken - soft drinks, which were from a vending machine were, the beer (estrella) was too,  red, white and rose wine from a font was disgusting.

but okay out of the machine next to the bar, water from near the pool tasted of mould but okay from the tap up the stairs near the bar or get at the bar.

even if they removed 50 at the main pool there would still be enough and it would be a nicer experience especially if someone is smoking next to you!!

We didn't touch the self serve soft serve ice cream as it just looked and smelt bad.

Children bomb around chasing each other and get too close to railing where they could have a nasty fall.

But wish that someone would have cleaned the jacuzzi on our roof BEFORE we arrived it was filthy.

but the reality is that the hotel is dated, worn and stinks of sewage.

Self serve ice cream machine around the pool smelt of cheese every time I walked past.

The drains did smell a bit (especially overnight).

The pool toilets smelt so bad you had to hold your nose to go in there.

A designated smoking area would be most advisable as we found ourselves exiting any area when someone lit up .

The pool self service  drinks area especially was tired and often filthy.

The same dirt and debris has stayed in the communal areas for 4 days.

BUT our view looked out on a a horrible road and filthy dirty veranda.

Lots of fresh fruit, salad, breads, cheeses, typical breakfast selection of sausages bacon hash browns beans etc also
Such lovely choices for evening meal aswell like roast pork, turkey, curry etc.

The Tex Mex and Asian are buffet service and the Indian & Italian are waiter service.

And there was a good selection of continental snacks outside of formal mealtimes.

Great Gluten Free selection for Breakfast and found something to eat every day and labelled well.

We went to all themed restaurants the Chinese/Asian was buffet - food was lovely - tex mex was also buffet and was amazing food all cooked in front of you fresh

There is plenty of selection in the buffet restaurant, a childrens section, lots of fresh salad and fruit and live cooking of tuna, swordfish, lamb, chicken etc.

The buffet restaurant for lunch and dinner was pretty dreadful food as it was never hot and very poor quality, breakfast on the other hand is really good.

The Asian and the grill are buffet- we went to both these and enjoyed them especially the Asian one.

We also booked the Asian it’s out at La Reserva and is a buffet style

Breakfast is ok as he could have oat milk, eggs, toast etc… lunch and dinner were quite the opposite.

but lunch & dinner edible with good choice but Luke warm at best
- on arrival you can reserve a restaurant, unless you know in advance say the Italian (La Fontana) or Asian (goa) otherwise you will be disappointed.

2 of the 4 a la cartes are low-quality buffets also.

Breakfast was edible, hash browns were a 10/10

This hotel caters very well with allergies and with GF you can order chips pizza pasta grilled chicken/fish if you don’t fancy anything at the buffet.

The restaurants can get busy and some people's manners or personal space issues take a dive -

There are 2 ‘Balinese’ beds by the ‘relax pool’ which isn’t a relax pool and just as busy.

but doesn't feel chaotic busy unless in restaurants at peak times if you go at right time they're quiet.

The pools are extremely noisy and busy, no problem with the amount of kids, as it’s a family hotel.

but that’s only because of how busy the hotel is.

but we just found it too busy and the food didn't really hit the mark for us.

Only one that’s a decent depth is the jungle pool which isn’t massive so can get very busy 

Sofa beds not the best, ok for small children

It was very busy in the restaurants and had to queue to get in a few times.

but we wouldn’t come back - maybe if it was running at half capacity - but for us it was just too busy.

however, it was FAR too busy and hectic for my liking and definitely not a 4*!

It has 600+ rooms (so imagine 4 people in every one of those and you'll start to get an idea of how busy it is particularly around the pool areas), more sunloungers than I've ever seen in one place!

Our understanding was that those on half-board had two meals- breakfast and dinner yet were always seen during lunch-time, which may perhaps explain why the main restaurant was busy during lunchtime's.

Protur on the weekends seem to bring in large Spanish sports groups, so the already busy sports and restaurants are even busier, it doesn’t seem very fair on paying hotel guests, the facilities are over run with the sports people and families.

However the main buffet areas were extremely busy - although there were 2 main restaurants there only seemed to be 1 open most of the item,

Staff
Staff are a credit to the hotel, not once did we have a bad experience with them, always greeted and paid attention, even managed to make our little one smile.

We also visited the waterpark across the road from the hotel, we had to pay 43 euros for a family of 4

The "ALL INCLUSUVE" ROM in the bar tasted and smelled worse than bad corona hand sanitizer
Even ordered "and paid for" a BACARDI bot I's sure that it wasn't BACARDI in the bottle.

We couldn't eat here and ended up having to pay to eat out which is so frustrating when you've paid for all-inclusive.

but couldn’t get down to the glass bottom it was so small and just felt like a ferry picking people up rather than a boat trip and ended up costing over £100.

You purchase all inclusive thinking you will not have to put your hand in your pocket when you arrive - only to discover that you have to pay for everything here. Extra costs include - €10 deposit per towel, minigolf €10 per adult, any decent alcohol, any other kids entertainment (like go karts, motorised boats, decent ice creams.  )

My main disappointment was the water park which I felt was very expensive for which is essentially two small slides and a pool.

If you want a 4/5* then expect to pay a lot more.

This ruined my holiday as I don’t agree that a land view should be the same price as a pool view.

I don’t rate the beach, small and crowded.

You have to pay for anything that didn’t cost the hotel more than 10p.

In all seriousness this is not a great resort at all, in fact far from it especially for the price!

Ps also added a photo of the review that said there isn’t a cracked tile in view- these reviews must be paid for reviews because it’s plain lying at this point! !

Reservation water park is expensive for what it actually offers.

On the first night we all had to stay in one room and checked out on the second day, tui have offered us £30 of the £957 paid and the hotel haven’t even bothered to respond!

Never stayed at a hotel A.I that had so much that you had to pay for on top!!

Only paid about €30 euros and that included the food and drink.

On arrival we paid for the tax and safe deposit and for the pool towels which you get back apart from the tax .

You need around €14 to pay for a 2x sun lounger/locker/and brolly for the day, or you can take your own things.

There is also some small rides, a racetrack (both at an extra cost) and some trampolines for children.

The rest of the days you had to queue at 2pm to see what was available.

We never had to queue longer than a couple of minutes to be served.

but honestly pretty good would of went twice if we’d been bothered to queue again to book.

On a 10 day stay we queued & never got a slot.

You can waste a full day of your holiday queuing.

Cons 

The restaurant booking system is a bit ridiculous, it’s kind of a mad rush where half the hotel ques at 2pm to try and get a table and even in September we only managed to book one night at one so spent others at buffet or had to eat out

I didn’t drink a lot because I don’t know if I was just being fussy

The bar staff worked so hard so you was never waiting very long.

If you think you can get into one of "special restaurants" forget about it unless you want to waste 2hrs a day queuing for a chance of a table.

Top tip: if you get to the bar and you see someone has been waiting, don't be a plum and wave when the bar staff ask who is next.

In our block there were often queues for the lifts as only one was working, we just took the stairs

The closest to safari you’ll get is feeling like an animal waiting to be fed your meal at one of the buffets.

….you had to queue for over an hour to get a booking in any restaurant other than the buffet.

For breakfast we were there by 9 at the latest every morning and whilst busy we never really had to queue apart from pancakes once or twice.

however people start queuing at around 12:45.

never had to queue and wait for a table I was very impressed.

We didn't queue for the additional restuarants

Some days we had to queue to get inside, around 15 minutes before the sitting ends the staff start to close some of the food stands though, so if you prefer to eat late be there is often less choice.

Which unless you want to queue for an hour to reach the booking window, only to be turned away as they are full, then no, you don't have access to the restaurants.

The bar workers worked so hard - for it being a big busy hotel we never had to queue for a drink.

but the site is not detailed and does not provide all information ie iron availability, checkout requirements, entertainment, towels etc.

This consisted of changing the towels and removing some of the rubbish.

The last 2 weeks in August and never had an issue getting sun beds, up at 9.30 for breakfast and dropped towels out while walking to the restaurant.
