Ricardo was excellent and took care of our food and drink needs at the beach area.

I want to spotlight an employee, Ricardo was our server while lounging on the beach portion of the resort.

The location is very safe and beach access is easy.

Ismael and Daniel - servers at the beach … fast and efficient .. they make enjoying the beach a great experience!

Specific staff at the hotel that made our trip extra enjoyable were Noel at the front desk, Ceasar at activities desk, Emilio and Daniel with beach service, Eleison the lifeguard is super friendly and helpful, and Carlos around the pool made us feel very welcome daily.

Also, from the beach, you can pay a water taxi to take you to the El Arco at Land's End.

The room, the view and the beach are all amazing, and the friendliness of the staff is just as good.

Shout out to Cesar for greeting us by name (how do you remember us in spite of the 1000s guests you greet); thank you Noel and Eruby for providing stellar front desk service; thank you Luis our favorite pool guy and Emilio and Carlos for always going out of your way to make sure we have the penultimate vacation experience; thank you Ismael for always graciously serving us refreshments at the beach in the stifiling heat: many thanks to Andres and Allen for welcoming us to the resort always with warm, friendly smiles; and thank you to Gaby for always keeping our room fresh and sparkly!

By the pool or beach, Louis is always there to take care of your every need from bringing chairs, umbrellas, and keeping an eye on the kids so you can enjoy your vacation.

Also, Casa Dorada was one of the few resorts that allows you to go on the beach and swim in the ocean - so another plus!

There are some other resorts down the beach (condos, timeshares for big families).

There is a sandy beach front with refreshing & calm waters.

Our favorite thing to do in Cabo is sit on the beach and watch the activities on the beach and water.

Shoutout to beach concierge Luis, Emilio, Ishmael; pool concierges Caesar, Jonathan, Zaid, Gabino, and Carlos who work tirelessly to ensure each guest is happy.

Big rooms with nice furnishings and very comfortable.

The beachfront scene is filled with music & happy, festive energy.

The prices at Casa Dorado were more than fair given the quality and the surroundings.

The grounds are so well manicured and pristine with nothing out of place.

The location is beautiful, the amenities are well kept and the service has been exquisite.

but it was enough to be noticeable if you’re seeking a quiet environment.

The hotel was very clean very attentive and on my daughter’s 21st birthday they brought in balloons and some decorations very nice personal touch.

We chose the European style option upon booking and received a free breakfast buffet, and a discount at the resorts restaurants, we also got a credit at the spa and for a photo session!

A mask must be worn inside, and the resort employees were above and beyond in cleaning and wearing masks.

Quality of the resort, design, rooms to the pillows they use we enjoyed.

When we returned, we were so surprised by Noel's kind gesture: in our room we found a beautifully decorated plate with the word "Congratulations" in chocolate and the most deliciously decedent slice of chocolate cake and a bottle of sparkling wine chilling in the ice bucket!

He made our experience on the beach a fantastic one and I already miss his bright impact on everyone around him.

Rosa and her creative art studio, have kept myself, and my family and friends occupied with fun art we can create and take home.

A Covid-Safe environment that is set in a premium location.

I will be sure to paint with Manu again and am anxious to try out some of his pointers on a painting when I get home.

The musical entertainment was pretty cool, and the atmosphere was smooth.

Our 1 bedroom was spacious and beautifully decorated.

We also visited Chilleno Beach and Santa Maria Beach, about 15 minutes east by car.

Aleaessa (Lifeguard) was very friendly, attentive and made sure all guests in his area were comfortable and safe.

This type on employee makes me want to revisit your establishment.

The less interaction you have with the staff the better your stay.

When you ask for an explanation on the drinks prices.

They are focused on transactions and the tips they expect without concern for your comfort and or satisfaction.

We visited last year to determine if this is where we wanted to have our wedding this year, and knew right away this was the perfect place.

Many guests visited the spa and spoke highly of the treatments provided by the wonderful Saltwater Spa staff.

Second time visiting Cabo and Casa Dorada this year.

We visit here every May and sometimes make a few additional visits during the year.

Every visit we use A Cabo Conexión car service, stay at Casa Dorada and dine at Tres Sirenas.

The place was cleaner than any resort that we have visited during COVID, and unlike US hotels they cleaned our room every day and even had nightly turn down service.

We will visit Casa Dorada again and hope to see Luis and Mario!

- Los Tres Gallos in town was also a worthwhile visit for dinner.

My mother-in-law had an accidental fall on property during our visit and they took excellent care of her.

For my first visit to Cabo, I couldn't be happier with my stay at Casa Dorada.

I will definitely be back to Casa Dorada and hope you have the chance to visit too!

The spa was fantastic and our beachfront dinner was perfect.

We did leave the resort a few times where we rode camels and ATVs on the beach, and cruised around the Pacific and Sea of Cortez on a private catamaran where we saw the famous arch and swam ashore.

I understand it's a beach resort with a lot of open spaces

Beautiful beach and as we already knew there is no swimming.

You couldn't swim at the beach, the slide was down because of repairs.

although it's not entirely beach walk friendly.

The entire resort is clean, beautiful, the beach is pristine, the staff is friendly, professional and courteous.

The location of resort is remote and you can't swim in the ocean beaches it is very rough.

Kind of defeated the purpose of being on the beach

No discount to our stay despite us not being able to eat at some restaurants, use room service, pools, or the beach.

There is no swimmable beach, so they really made up the difference with the pools.

This trip they upgraded us to room 1332 which is a Presidential with a huge balcony looking directly over the sand and ocean.

In addition, I worked with Andy for our birthday celebration by the beach, and I can’t thank her enough for helping us pull it off!

but oftentimes take them outside to the beach or pool.

They even escorted us on the beach to ensure we didn’t go beyond where it was safe.

It is too far away from Cabo San Lucas/excursions and you cannot enter the ocean from the beach because of the strong waves.

We had a 45 guest wedding here on the beach.

-Chewy (Fitness Center) push us to our limits in the spin class and was a nice personal trainer.

Other staff the made our stay great: Jerry the pool manager, Jose at the juice bar by the red pool, Nelson, Chucy and Danny at the fitness center.

Location was very far from the center of town.

The staff at fitness center, Chuy and Danny helpful in adding the lines.

But we went to Santa Maria Beach, Chilenos Beach and the City Center Beach and we really liked!

Other positives below:
•	The arcade and the children's center were fun.

They had the conference center opened with several larger than life big screen TVs going along with all the other entertainment before and during the game.

Also multiple bars, well distributed,  the restaurants are most on the same area, so if you are on the west/east wing you’ll have to walk to the center.

In the city very different weather pattern.

We will go to enjoy Los Cabo again as it is a wonderful city.

He also helped us plan a trip to the city.

In room dining was also nice, except depending on what you order, it might not be good when it becomes cold and there is no microwave to heat it up.

One ridiculous lie is the cold air takes a while to flow to your room.

Our shower had no warm/hot water so we had cold showers daily.

You alternate a lot of hot and cold water types.

The food to very long to come out, and multiple times food came out warm or even cold.

We continued to hear it was too windy, too cold etc etc.

Drinks were served to us while standing and a cold towel

It just so happens that the week we were there it was so windy and cold.

Once we got to our rooms, one was really hot and the other was really cold.

Poor coordination and inconsistent experience - On several occasions upon being seated for breakfast when we returned from the buffet we discovered that our table had been given away to another party and we had to wait to be seated again while our breakfast was getting cold.

Beach is NOT swimmable, no trees, no umbrellas, high waves, rough current, too cold - even in July.

but at night you’ll only get cold to luke warm water.

Unfortunately, this side of the Pacific is too windy and cold, and we also found the food to be lacking in flavour and the drinks all tasted like watered down tequila (likely because cheaper brands are being put into authentic branded bottles).

We enjoyed the Eden Pool a little more since when we arrived it was windy and cold so that Pool somehow was the only one not affected by the wind.

The pools are waaaaay to cold to be in as well.

From Andres who greeted us getting off of our transportation and took our luggage to our room to Victor who did our Legendary member resort introduction.

Fernanda at the front desk claimed she would take care of things never did.

Very nice place to visit and Rick, our concierge was very, very attentive and helpful during our stay.

Her kindness and infectious smile made the trip so much more.

Our concierge Brenda was the most helpful and sweetest person.

He was so helpful with everything we requested including some reservation modifications that we requested.

Euni and Osvaldo  were so nice and so helpful and explained how all the buffet section and all of the meats they had.

He was so accommodating and helped us out so much.

The staff was magnificent, especially our Butler, Yicel!

The staff really makes this resort great!

We stayed between 9/24-28 and there were 5 weddings going on that night according to front desk.

It’s really sad because there is a great core number of employees that always go above and beyond.

Upon arrival no one even ask us for drinks, we have to ask for water because it was so hot inside with no AC on atall.

One lady had slipped on water from the broken AC unit and fell (the hotel would not provide her medical attention and suggested she was liable for her own accident) while the other lady wanted to transfer hotels over the AC issues (which was something that we were offered until they transferred a lot of the wedding parties to the neighboring resort first).

Hotel is not worth for $100 day .room wad really dirty I complaining on phone and 3.30 pm they telling me all housekeeper is gone .bathroom was full of water in toilet area and vanity area .you can see all dirty foot print on tile .bedsheet have spot and all on website is miss leading.

Our room curtains were dirty, light fixture was leaking, ceiling over toilet was leaking and almost caved in, shower water was close to turning off due to water pressure, and ants were in the room.

Drinks are watered down despite us tipping at a lot of places so I found it more beneficial to just order champagne, wine or double shots with a mixer so they don't have the opportunity to water it down.

The staff only had room temperature water bottles.

Service is understaffed everywhere and it takes forever to even get water, let alone food or drink.

They put too much water in the beer, felt like it's not carbonated.

We also had minor issues such as , finding a sewing needle in our couch, and while eating outside at our semi private pool, room water & crumbling paint was dumped on me and my food by the cleaners on a balcony above.

But little did we know we’d get yelled at for putting our toes in the water!

People need to know that there is no swimming at the beach due to rough water.

Water treatments for plants and trees smelled HORRENDOUS- not sure why they didn't do them at 6 am or late at night.

Didn't really go on the beach as it is prohibited to go near the water.

Water streaming down hallways and doorways of restaurants, and on multiple floors.

Hard Rock managementshould be embarrassed as this is a pricier resort)  Our friends stayed in an ambassador suite and had to step around wet towels on a barrel of water that continued for days after the storm was gone.

water was also freezing at the pool, so we went to the smaller pool/jacuzzi was off, we were kicked out by the life guard without explaining anything.

Beautiful, white sand beach, crystal clear ocean, amazing sunrises.

Hacienda Del Mar has the most beautiful landscaping, beach and pools
Adelina at Tomatoes restaurant is the best.

There are lots of beautiful little shells on the beach in front of this restaurant.

The pools and the beach were just well done, they are spread out so that no particular pool was overcrowded.

To include housekeeping, the gardeners, maintenance, transportation, wait staff, bell boys (Andres, Octavio, Heriberto), beach and pool staff.

Tortugas on the Beach is opened for breakfast 7:30 - 6:30 Lunch 11:00 - 4:30, Bar Service 10:00 - 5:00.

The restaurant was on the beach, the food was excellent and we were blessed with two excellent servers, Rodrigo the first night and Zahit on our second dine.

The premises grounds are immaculate and the views onto the beach are absolutely stunning.

Beach side resort with great view and plenty of places for food or drink.

In amongst the cookie-cutter other properties on this densely packed coast, the Hacienda del Mar stands out as a little gem.

That said, all of this was somewhat compensated for by the great ocean views and a long empty beach to walk along.

This is the best place to eat on the beach!

The beach views were unbeatable and the food was the best and most fresh.

Amazing beach bar at la Hacienda del Mar <LosCabos>, the place is Amazing, the sand, the drinks (mango margarita are the best) and the view will make your stay unforgettable at the Hacienda del Mar, ask for Ruffo, his warm service os Amazing … love the place

The pool and beach are beautiful and clean and there were always plenty of loungers.

thank-you to Francisco (manager of this quaint beach bar)  Ruffo (our conscious server) for a lovely experience.

He was attentive and so helpful, gave us great suggestions and made our beach day absolutely amazing!

Cushions stained and disgusting, leftover trash laying around and several of the restaurants closed down.

Guests  that just booked direct or through a third party had the same service and are not obligated to pay yearly maintenance fees

Very limited “fun” events

Bathrooms at the beach were closed - very poor service at the beach.

The bathrooms on the beach were closed and taped off with yellow streamers the entire week i was there.

Due to construction nearby they have temporarily closed Girasoles,

Unfortunately a few of the restaurants were closed during our stay,

Also, half the resort amenities were closed off due to a private party that was not disclosed.

Therefore, when the hotel hosts a large group or convention, one of the few remaining restaurants may be closed down for the entire evening to guests and owners, without advance notice.

The only disappointment was that our favorite spot to eat, Sunflowers (Grasioles) on building 6 rooftop was closed and the restaurant de Cortez had gone way up in cost.

Full disclosure, we are Solaz owners who would not have stayed at HDM except that Solaz is closed for 2 years for repairs and HDM is their 'sister' property that was offered to us as an exchange for our continued support of Solaz.

We miss the “daily” newsletter that listed activities, do and don’t around the  pools and which restaurants were open/ closed.

DeCortez was closed for one of the days of our stay.

During those four days one of the main dinner restaurants was closed for private events two nights.

Our favorite place Girasoles is closed for remodeling.

While the restaurants were understandably closed, the hotel offered room service to their guests during the storm.

The owners reception and concierge is closed so everyone goes to one reception area which causes super long lines.

For some reason the pool with the swim up bar was closed.

Our favorite restaurant, Girasoles is closed permanently - apparently, bad choice by owners.

Our favorite restaurant Girasoles was closed for remodel.

However, at the time of our stay a large construction of their expansion of resort esp at the side of those timeshare owner are happening.

To be honest we didn’t even know there was any construction going it’s not very loud.

However the Cons are Significant if they truly want to compete with 4 seasons that is currently under construction near the Resort .

Some of the rooms near the construction are listed in their system as ocean view that are next to the ongoing construction that starts at 7:30 am.

Construction of the Four Seasons Hotel next door was beyond disruptive and the resulting dust and dirt made it impossible to use our room balcony.

Four seasons is going in and have construction for the foreseeable future.

Construction began before 8 am every morning.

Cabo is booming with construction everywhere.

I have seen complaints in reviews about the construction nearby.
