but there are beach cahirs and umbrellas on the beach where you can spend the day enjoying the waves.

Also I saw whales too, I found myself could just watching the blue ocean, wave and Whales for the entire day

The resort is very very clean, I didn't see any litter anywhere in the resort, even under the flower bushes, which makes walking around the resort even more pleasant!

Service at the poolside, on the beach, front lobby doormen, and every restaurant was fantastic.

The drinks were were really good and there as always a place to sit by the pool or beach.

The pool was perfect temp, the view of the beach is amazing for sunrise.

Basically have the beach as your backyard… amazing!!

Beautiful beach, multiple whale sightings, the grounds are beautiful and hubby even got a back massage at the pool!

The Beach is a large disappointment as unswimmable for many due to the surf.

Tortugas on the beach and/or Cortez’s no longer offer an a la carte breakfast option.

I walked on the beach when waiting for my food and loved the ones water before I enjoyed a passion on the beach drink which was perf.😁

Beach is very scenic and way more accessible or swimmable than nearby places.

The ocean here is rugged so it is not possible to swim except for a couple of nice local beaches that also had snorkeling (Santa Maria and El Chileno beaches).

We have been exploring beaches and stumbled on this little rocky Beach.

I would like to mention Jovani, Ramón, and Armando at Sirens Beach Bar to their manager Francisco.

Staff at Sirenas on the beach is fantastic!

Of course they had to track with reciepts so they gave us one and charged 5 extra beers on our ticket.

They want to charge over $100k to buy into the larger units, and charge a maintenance fee of $2,500 per year, just so you can stay here for 1 week a year.

While I was  at the hotel, for 4 days you couldn’t charge anything to your room. I also couldn’t get a credit card to work (signal down for all restaurants for days!)

The hotel placed daily holds on my credit card,

I sat next to an owner at the pool, he ordered two shots of don Julio and when he got the bill he called the manager over and asked if he was actually charged $20 per shot he stated he had been coming for ten years and this was insane.

We asked the front desk manager to credit the meal and we were told NO without any explanation.

Their onsite souvenir vendors were insanely expensive, shampoo / conditioner were just left on the shower floor, zero body lotion provided in room and, my favorite, the ATM charged $6.95 per transaction (expected that), and then, another 6.95% charge of your total withdrawal.

but, it's no Four Seasons which is what they are charging for food and drinks.

We can be charged anything and have no way to quickly verify it is correct.

Further, they added fraudulent food and beverage charges to our bill.

At the moment of writing this they have processed $300 on my credit card without me checking out yet.

When we checked out there was a charge on our bill for an $85 “intimacy bag”…which we didn’t use.

To top that off, Pedro (a presumable manager) said we were not treating them well by questioning the additional charges.

Kept having problems with key cards for the door.

I figured since I did arrive the next day I wouldn't be charged for the first day I missed.

USD and MX$ are both accepted and you ultimately don’t really need to have cash as you can add tips to your account billed to your credit card.

That said, if I was paying the prices they were charging guests, I would be pretty disappointed.

Said that this was operating procedure and everyone gets charged. I said "twice?"

When we checked out, the hotel wanted to charge us for a restaurant.

Downgraded my room out of a Wedding block of 50 rooms for my family’s wedding stay there and the hotel would not give us any credit for the price difference, not even a free breakfast or drink!

The resort has very nice views, very nice ground, clean rooms and very polite and friendly staff.

The grounds have lots of palm trees, beautiful gardens throughout the resort.

She stood her ground and reminded me they were a business and don't compensate guest.

The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained.

Please note, the grounds, rooms were immaculate and staff very attentive (as always)!

The grounds of the property are always well kept and pools are wonderful.

The whole grounds are manicured and spotless.

Service is terrific, people are friendly, grounds are impeccable.

Staff and grounds were excellent as usual.

They loved the hospitality, the large number of pools and restaurants, the beautiful grounds and the authentic Mexican feel of the villas.

The grounds at Cabo Del Sol used to be a great place to walk with wonderful ocean views,

Ambiance is good, grounds are clean and good , people are nice and helpful from check in to bartender and waiters .

The staff throughout hotel adds value and gives us the experience we are looking for when we go on our annual vacation.

It is a buffet offering the same dishes (Mexican) every night.

Girasoles was a great, primarily Mexican menu spot situated atop one of the residence buildings.

Loved aqua aerobics every day, Mexican bingo, cooking classes… everything👍🏻 From stuff specifically Romeo, Ricardo and a chef of De Cortez Restaurant Guzman, remember their proficiency !

This property is for adults who want to relax, walk around the property and feel like a Mexican hacienda owner.

We chose this hotel because of its great reviews, the location and it’s traditional Mexican architecture.

The meet and great to welcome the guest was nice touch with Mexican theme of margaritas, beer, and appetizers with dancing competition for local prizes.

The property’s architecture and the layout will have you believe you are in an enchanting Mexican folklore.

We loved Mexican Bingo/Latoria, aqua HIIT workout and  Zumba and cooking classes.

Tomates Mexican night was especially good!

Ricardo made card games, Mexican Bingo, and pool activities a fun time.

Place was beautiful old Mexican town charm and the staff was great  grounds are spotless and they allow animals   Nice

Resort is charming with traditional Mexican decor and has everything you need on-site.

Our room was large and, unlike lots of Mexican resorts - the beds were comfy.

The architecture is astounding, you feel like you’re walking around a quaint Mexican village … it’s just stunning here.

Loved the variety in the buffet as well, with steak, Italian, Mexican, salads and desserts!

Everything is grossly overpriced for the quality.

If you have more than 1 person with you it is cheaper to get an Uber.

The pricing isn't what you expect for Mexico more like LA.

The only all-inclusive limitations the are not covered are the coffee shop, the 24/7 room service, and the De Cortez restaurant and Pitahayas restaurant where several items on each menu were marked as having an additional fee of 320 pesos if you wanted to order them.

the food at the resort was greatly overpriced,

The cost of drinks and food is out of proportion for the quality .My husband and I and several others we spoke with lost a full day due to gastrointestinal problems related to the buffets which are prevalent.

Perhaps what is most disappointing is the fact that all of the food prices seem to be way out of  proportion to other locations.

but in my opinion, its at the cost of customer service.

If I could just rate the people who support the guests, there is no doubt I would provide a 5 rating (or better if it was available).

We stay here often and the price of food and drinks have gotten out of control and we had to monitor our bill.

We traveled this year throughout Europe and nothing was as expensive as HDM.

You have to order room service at a cost.

Restaurant food and drinks are extremely expensive and the “1 hour 15 minute” timeshare talk to get free stuff was more like 4 hours.

I was given the wrong type from what I paid for in my contract in in my maintenance.

You will be forced to pay $5 for a bottle in the store.

Pitahayas, in my opinion, took a turn for the worse the past few years with terrible menu options and ridiculous prices for what felt like very little food.

Go to Santa Maria beach, it’s about 6 minutes away, cheap Uber ride and THE BEST snorkeling and swimmable.

You can't beat the location, being only 5-10 minutes away from Santa Maria Beach and Chileno Bay and only 10-15 minutes from downtown Cabo.

Salsa Dancing class, games and special events.

The events were fun, the room was very clean, spacious, and felt like home.

The events director does a spectacular job of narrating the days while lightheartedly poking fun at the Mickey Mouse Americans.

I'm so thankful to Chef Omar, Charly, and the other amazing people who gave us such a special event.

The pool events were the best because of you.

“Lazy events” at the swim up bar were awesome.

There were events each day, such as water aerobics, bingo, and live music at night.

Setting up for events on the grounds, or through local companies was handled by the concierge staff, and was very easy.

I would suggest they continue to invest in the family room amenities, and have some kid events at the pool on the schedule.

They play music and then sponsor short events at the pool which can be fun.

There are activities daily and several special dinner events.

Entertainment on most nights and special events such as a pool party and steak night.

The resort sponsored events were really fun and there was a different list of activities for each day.

There are enough events and activities offered to keep you happy for your entire trip.

The event staff offered daily activities, like an evening Mexican fiesta and mixology classes – these were awesome experiences and a great value.

Every night of the week the resort hosted events, the scenery was beautiful & the staff & guest were friendly and very helpful.

Jonas and Aaron did an amazing job leading these activities, and they brought excitement and fun to every event.

There are many activities and events if you choose to participate or you can relax in paradise!

The entire family participated in scheduled events at the resort and Jonas and Aaron made the experience that much more great!

Love the little cove beach, that was rarely crowded.

The scenery was refreshing & private beach was nice to enjoy.

We went to Medano beach for dinner at the office,  don’t recommend it over priced, and rowdy surroundings (we were traveling with a kiddo).

The beach is a short walk away and was perfect for snorkeling.

We love lounging by the pool with its amazing views, or walking down to the beautiful besch to take a dip in the ocean (it is a bit of a walk down winding stairs.

Beach and fishing options are within a 15 minute Uber ride.

I would say the big selling points are view of the arch from the pool and many rooms, a restaurant with great food, an uncrowned,vendor free semi private swimmable beach, all rare in Cabo.

Just next door is a must swim private beach, with snorkelling.

Chileno is a local hotspot with many Mexican families enjoying the beach together.

Lovely infinity pools overlooking the cliffs, ocean and beach.

This resort is on the very edge of the bay and is a $6 Uber ride to town which is nice.

but the view and private beach make up for what it lacks from the big resorts.

Beach access was less than desirable for myself,

The beach is beautiful…private and secluded.

The beach is great even though a little gritty

The beach was a short stairway onto a nice secluded beach that we were fortunate to witness a turtle nest hatch and crawl out into the waves for sunrise!

Service is excellent

Since its a timeshare location you will most likely have a full kitchen.

Rooms feel like they are recently renovated, and have a full kitchenette and living room so that it feels more like a studio than a hotel room.

Love having the option to eat out, or stay in with a full kitchen.

The room was outfitted with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, the most comfortable bed and a huge Jacuzzi tub.

We loved our ocean view, washer dryer and full kitchen.

All the amenities available such as full kitchens, outdoor grills, 2 pools, hot tub, fire pit, beach etc.

Very clean, extremely quiet, large one-bedroom, all the amenities you'd want, with a full kitchen and washer-dryer.

Our accommodation had a great view, full kitchen and spacious balcony.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit that had a full kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom.

We had a one bedroom with a full kitchen and a nice view from a second row building.

We liked that our room had a full kitchen which allowed us to prepare our own meals and save a ton of money.

The room had a full kitchen, glass balcony, king size bed, in bedroom jacuzzi and a two person shower.

in bedroom and living room, full kitchen, washer dryer , Jacuzzi in the bedroom, great air conditioning .

Pool side bar, spa, full kitchen functionality so you don't have to eat out every day and night.

Large one bedroom suite with full a kitchen modern master bathroom, large deck overlooking a cliff, the ocean and of course the arch of Cabo.

The partial kitchen has a full refrigerator, two eye stove burner and dishwasher.

The room was perfect for three of us ( husband, adult step son, and myself ) - spacious, very modern, completely clean, with a full kitchen where you could prepare an entire meal , equipped with everything anyone would need, plus an ice-maker in the freezer!

The suite was huge, a full kitchen with stainless appliances, granite countertops and all the pots and pans and accompanying utensils that you needed.

Rooms:  The rooms have a full kitchen and 2 of the buildings have full ocean view.

The restaurant is overpriced and no even tasty.

Paid over 1,000.00 for mold in the shower, bathtub and kitchen sink.

although Cabo is getting mre expensive each year.

There is only one restaurant at the resort and 2 bars, quality of food and drinks below average and expensive for what you are getting.

There is one restaurant on the property…great food and amazing service (a little pricey).

Restaurants there are over the top pricey and the food does not justify this.

For groceries to avoid the restaurants, there is a La Comer close by (5 USD for Uber each way).

but we had cab fare for nine people to and from Marina that got expensive.

Ubers come straight to the hotel and cost anywhere form $6 - $15 to go to downtown Cabos San Lucas.

though that would have paid me $150 out of the resort fee).

My husband and I are PAID OFF Welk Owners.

The restaurant charged over $5.00 for diet coke.

Originally thought we’d have to pay $135 USD per massage for an hour and a half massage

I saw a negative review "Avoid at al costs!!!".

Room quality is poor old, outdated, and dirty.The restaurant (only one available) at the property is expensive and serves horrible bland food.

Chef Jessica at the restaurant is amazing and offered a private cooking class in our suite.

Will definitely be back for a ping pong rematch with Jonas and hopefully smoother seas for better snorkeling in the semi private beach/cove.

It has the private beach that it shares with another community, it has a 'quiet resort' feel with the amenities to let loose if you want, and most importantly the staff was AWESOME!

While staying at the resort we had a private dinner for 2 on the terrace and let me tell you it was such an amazing experience and everything we ate was delicious.

This resort is beautiful, great views, stunning rooms, Hamic‘s on deck, and the private beach!

The private dinner on the Terrence was a big hit in celebrating my wife's 50th Bday.

Curated a wonderful private sailing and whale watching excursion.

I highly recommend swimming at dawn in the semi private cove.

We did a romantic dinner on our last night and they set us a table for us on a private part of the resort over looking the ocean and we had our own personal waiter.

We love the staff and pool and spa services, and there is a private swimming beach that makes it truly unique.

Better than to have a private beach with an ocean view.

Enjoyed the resort's private cove to swim and snorkel with complementary rental equipment.

the ride was fantastic and they had plenty of transportation options on their site, from shuttle, suburbans and limos, we decided to book a private suburban roundtrip service and everything went just as we expected it to be,

I walked the property early in the am to catch the sunrise, and took  midnight strolls on the private beach - felt very safe.

Great private beach area with very few people.

but large enough to provide all the facilities Sit on your private balcony with binoculars and enjoy whale watching.

On the same day we rented a car, you get 24 hours for the $56 through the concierge, we also wandered over to Santa Maria beach to do some snorkling in the morning.

We went to Chileno and Santa Maria beach instead which were amazing for snorkeling.

Chileno Beach and Santa Maria Beach are minutes away.

There is an additional $7 USD a day resort fee, which was well worth it as we used their beach chairs, beach umbrella, and pool towels every day to visit the surrounding beaches (Santa Maria Beach and Chileno Bay were our favourites).

Better snorkeling was at Santa Maria Beach, a 5 minute drive from the resort.

We saw todos santos, arches, 2 cabos, Pamilla beach, Cerritos beach, Santa maria beach and our favorite for snorkeling Chilleno beach!
