Comfortable beds and wifi helped make our overnight stay  pleasant.

I had a good room, comfy bed and spotless bathroom.

Rooms were clean and spacious and very comfortable beds with a great selection of teas and coffee.

The room was big and had two large, comfortable beds in it as well as a table and a chair.

I’d booked a king room, which seemed to be the best room on offer for the dates we went.

The room was very clean and comfortable, bathroom supplied with basic toiletries, tea and coffee facilities, decent-sized TV, comfy bed.

The other twin room was booked through Supervalu breaks and had two single beds and some Lindor chocolates!

Great value for a night in a king room, had dinner too which was very nice and breakfast, staff were very nice so no complaints from me.

The beds also had huge winter duvets on them, we removed the duvet and just used the cover on top of us.

There are much nicer hotels to stay in in limerick city centre.

We loved this hotel in Limerick city centre.

The location is perfect- in the center of town.

But the staff were friendly and welcoming and we could walk everywhere in Limerick city centre so we'll be back.

Came here as a work trip and the hotel is in a grand location right in the centre of town with a discounted car park a block away.

Just to be aware, room was small so bed was close to the door hallway, noise from the hall could be heard in the room, including both sides of a telephone conversation.

I rang reception to see if it was possible to move rooms.

No one appeared and repeated calls back to reception went unanswered.

but even though I did ask about parking when booking over the phone, I was not given clear information on it until I arrived.

Rooms are old, stale and the phone sounds like it connects to the twilight zone.

My wife rang the day before specifically asking if they had Air Conditioning in the rooms as we were in a middle of a heat wave.

We rang reception to ask if they had superglue, next thing we knew there was a knock on the door.

I couldn't get them online or by phone after i left so i was over €100 out of pocket

I went on their site ,tried to engage with their non responsive chat feature , then had to do the old fashioned thing and call them.

We were told we’d get a phone when the room was ready!

Rang down to complain about noise from construction site across from the building that starts at 6am and was non stop all morning, ended up getting no sleep from this time and no help from reception only it 'wasnt their fault'.

Also beware that the shower/tub is unusually high and could be an issue for people who are not easily mobile.

Only drawbacks are finding the place as we had to call and be vectored in and parking garage is down the street & two blocks from hotel (5 min walk).

Unfortunately the shower didn't work and despite two calls to reception this was not addressed.

But I'm not done!- for some bizarre reason I rang to arrange late check out till 2 at the extortionate price of 25€!

but we're only successful after attending to ring restaurant twice, rang out.

He continued to refuse to let her in so I asked for him to call a manager.

Phone charged, restaurant reserved, advice given.

We rang the front desk to tell them about a problem with the vending machine near our room, they said they would send someone right up

Breakfast was okay, not great, I was disappointed to find out that 'crisped potatoes' actually meant hash browns from the freezer section in the supermarket, poor effort.

but the on the whole it is very impersonal especially the restaurant we were each given a discount restuarant voucher but were then told when paying only one could be used unless we paid separately which was a lot of needless fuss , and the food was at best average ,even at breakfast it was poor, not anything like the rest of the places we stayed in Ireland , and a strange way to discount the parking fees

We went for breakfast before 9am which was poor.

Shower was awful, had to have the pressure really low or else the whole place would have been flooded because there was poor drainage and no shower tray plus there was mildew on the grouting.

Sound proofing is very poor which sadly meant a poor nights sleep .

The room was very comfortable bu breakfast was poor.

All in all a poor rating from me due to the unfriendly staff handling the door during night time, and small things that you take for granted should work didn´t.

Their "full Limerick" was below par in my view, a poor quality sausage and the self service fruit was out of a tin.

The only down side was the shower which had poor pressure and an inadequate supply of hot water.

Clean, fresh and just so comfortable and immediately opposite the Jasmine Palace Chinese restaurant of choice.

We stayed in the George Hotel, which has a very narrow street frontage and an escalator that leads upstairs to the lobby, reception and a large restaurant with about five floors of rooms above it.

Breakfast is in the Italian restaurant attached to the hotel.

As in the city it was hard to find a place that would be open late at night and close to the hotel, we enjoyed that it had a restaurant.

Delicious selection at breakfast and lovely cocktails in the evening.

You are within walking distance of several pubs - we enjoyed P Flannery's and the Glen Tavern.

Excellent location near to bus/train stops, shops and restaurants.

We sat for dinner in Vincenzos and had booked the Galentines package which included a 4 course meal and a cocktail.

Restaurant presents a nice variety in food and appears to be always open.

The food was great and the value for money is excellent.

Reception staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast in the morning had a lot of choice and was really fresh and tasty

It was nice place to stay, family friendly hotel and Restaurant, great service, everyone was super nice , delicious breakfast, good location.

It was extremely hot in the room and as we were high up the windows only opened a little bit.

However, when I entered a fan was on and windows open part way.

The AC was not working, so we had to open the windows.

Bedroom  was very hot during the night, with no thermostat to control the heat, roadworks outside the hotel prevented opening the windows due to noise.

I got up multiple times the first night convinced that we left a window open somehow .

The windows and heavy curtains do nothing to muffle the noise.

It was a warm evening so I had to leave the window open onto a busy street, there's no air con so perhaps ask for a quiet side of the hotel if weather is hot!!

In addition to there not being any AC we had to open the windows to let the cool breeze in during the night.

The windows opened out onto the street and it was extremely noisy, we didn't get any sleep until it died down after 4am.

Room was reasonably sized, was hot, no air con so had to open window.

No air conditioning in the room, it was extremely uncomfortable as in order to have the windows open for air the noise kept us awake.

However the hotel should invest in triple glazed sound proofed windows as the noise up to 4am from drunken revellers and busy taxis was extremely bad.

but the noise traveled up to and through our third story window.

but was not aware of excessive noise even with the windows slightly open.

It was warm and window needed to be open (no air conditioning).

We couldn't sleep with the window open either as we could hear noise from the main street below.

but the bathroom door made weird noises and didn't fully close off the bathroom from the rest of the room.

The only thing I did not like about it was the glass door to the bathroom.

Also, door between bathroom and the rest of the room is intentionally not a tight fit--spaces high and low.

We had a "Do Not Disturb " sign on our door and housekeeping left a bag of fresh towels and toilet tissue by our door.

The only thing I didn’t like were the frosted glass doors on the bathrooms.

The door of the bathroom was a tainted/frosted glass which mightn't be to everyone's liking

One thing to note is that the bathroom door is made of glazed glass, so the privacy isn't perfect as you can still make out shadows.

I didn't care for the glass door to the bathroom which sounded like it was about to break off each time we opened or closed it.

but it felt unnerving at the start especially as the glass wall / door of the bathroom was facing the whole room rather than in the lobby area as is often the case.

however not a massive fan on the glass doors to bathroom!

although the glass door to the bathroom makes snapping noise when closing.

The only problem was the shower which had neither a curtain or door and so leaked out on bathroom floor.

My only issue (and a minor point) is the frosted glass door to the bathroom doesn't leave much to the imagination.

Since this was a trendy type hotel the bathroom door was frosted glass and there wasn't any lock on the door.

The hotel is in a good location for exploring Limerick on foot.

The accommodations were "absolutely" sparkling, and the location was "absolutely" close to every place we wanted to walk!

The location is an easy walking distance from many bars and restaurants, the castle, the river, etc.

Besides that the hotel is central with spacious rooms (very clean) and a restaurant with delicious food.

Stayed here for one night in July, room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful,hotel is in the city center,short walk to bars and restaurants..the deal we got included a three course meal which was gorgeous.. especially the  cheesecake dessert that the waitress recommended.

.my only fault with the hotel was the lifts seemed to be excruciatingly slow and no access to rooms by stairs except in case of emergency.

Two small problems: bedside phone did not work to call reception and shower tray was slow to empty

so getting a drink after hours meant the night concierge had to get the drinks - slow service and not very comfortable.

but this is the third time I have stayed here and have found the breakfast service very slow each time.

they seemed very understaffed and were slow to arrange tables and take orders.

My only minor criticism is, in keeping with a consistent theme across Ireland, the lifts (elevators) are very very slow, the only issue we found was Limerick appeared to be closed for business, there was nobody about 1 bar shut, 1 with a single customer and one where we were the only clients.

though it was busy, with several people in watching a match, the service wasn't too slow and the food - while not blowing my mind - was simple, well-done and tasty. Th

The one and only complaint I have is that our shower drained so slow that you had to stop halfway through bathing to let it drain to prevent an overflow.

Unfortunately couldn't get the internet to work in the room (on TV rather than wifi) and wifi access was only in the lobby and pretty slow going.

Lunch was very slow and long breaks between courses then to be asked to vacate table so it could be set up for dinner.

Very very slow, and it eats up a lot of euro coins.

One of the rooms we had smelled like cigarettes and had a large stain on the floor.

Someone from the European continent couldn't refrain from smoking.

but our carpet was a bit "tired" with icky spots.

Work out room had the locker room smell so we didn't end up using it

Our initial room reeked of bugspray, opening windows didn't help, so we were moved to another with no fuss at all.

Arrived and were shown our room by the manager, who immediately agreed it smelled of smoke.
