Came here as a work trip and the hotel is in a grand location right in the centre of town with a discounted car park a block away.

We stayed on Sunday last - Hotel is centrally located and parking is 5 minutes walk away.

We also had an evening meal on both nights in the Italian restaurant and again it certainly didn't fail, the pizza's were to to die for.

We didn’t have the breakfast as we had early trains to catch but we did have a pizza in the Italian restaurant the last night and that was find all staff very helpful and attentive

I've stayed here a few times and it has a really nice Italian restaurant and cocktail bar.

Lovely Italian restaurant on site, great food and nice wine list.

Also, the italian Restaurant is phantastic.

They are laying paving stones right outside the hotel at the moment so it’s pretty noisy from around 7am.

but did not keep the light out) anf id window was left open (no AC) then you could "fall asleep" to the sound of the lamps.

I’d recommend requesting a room away from O’Connel St if you’re used to a quiet room as it is a little noisy

Rooms hot and noisy, large fans running in the evening until about 10pm, meaning you window can’t be opened, then at around 7am the road cleaner goes by, the bins emptied on one morning around 6-30 with more noise than you can believe.

Just to be aware, room was small so bed was close to the door hallway, noise from the hall could be heard in the room, including both sides of a telephone conversation.

Noise throughout the night was like we were sleeping in the nightclub.

There was no getting away from the street noise below, despite being up on the 4th floor.

There is a building under construction across the road from the back of the hotel and that and the busy street made for quite a lot of noise - you basically have to choose between windows closed or noise, they started drilling at 7.00am.

We went up to our room and noticed a very loud buzzing noise from the plumbing which shook the wall behind our bed.

Bedroom  was very hot during the night, with no thermostat to control the heat, roadworks outside the hotel prevented opening the windows due to noise.

even though the windows were open to the very noisy O’Connell street.

Drilling started at 7.15am & continues until 7.00 at night.

Woken  very early to the sound of roadworks outside which we were not advised of at check in

Rang down to complain about noise from construction site across from the building that starts at 6am and was non stop all morning, ended up getting no sleep from this time and no help from reception only it 'wasnt their fault'.

My room was bare bones-one towel, no extra blanket and noisy.

but if you're looking for a very quiet night with an early start, you may be disappointed.

It was a warm evening so I had to leave the window open onto a busy street, there's no air con so perhaps ask for a quiet side of the hotel if weather is hot!!

The windows opened out onto the street and it was extremely noisy, we didn't get any sleep until it died down after 4am.

Great central location, good sized room  which was  very clean and lovely staff throughout the hotel.

The desk came with a coffee machine and fixings, a steam pot and plenty of outlets and lighting.

The room was provided with a large desk, safe, TV, coffee machine and bottled water

Lovely riverside room , was huge, with nice bathroom and toiletries comfortable bed and coffee machine, all you’d really expect in a 4 Star hotel.

Stayed here for second time in a year, lovely hotel just on way into city centre.lovely clean modern rooms with coffee machine in the room,rooms very clean and spacious.Had dinner in Harry's bar good choice and reasonable prices,food was of a good standard and went down well ,staff very welcoming and friendly.

All staff are friendly and welcoming, plenty of toiletries in bathroom and nespresso machine in bedroom, huge TV on wall and a very comfy bed.

Nespresso machine played up (as they often do) and sachets of instant coffee with normal size cups would be a plus!

Harry's Bar and Restaurant was very good.

I had dinner in the bar on evening of arrival and would return for the food alone, absolutely delicious.

I was heading out for the night, so I had food in the bar before I left, it was very nice.

Stayed here for one night in July, room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful,hotel is in the city center,short walk to bars and restaurants..the deal we got included a three course meal which was gorgeous.. especially the  cheesecake dessert that the waitress recommended.

Had another wonderful stay at The Absolute Hotel Limerick.We checked in on Friday for our 2 night weekend stay, we were so looking forward to returning after restrictions were lifted.We had excellent meal in Harry's Bar can highly recommend the bar food the combo which includes chicken wings, ribs ,ceaser salad and chips and the burger were just delicious and my husband highly recommends the Guinness best pint he has in years.

We had stayed in The Absolute for a night prior to Covid and enjoyed a superb meal in the bar along with attentive staff and a nice clean room.

We had dinner in the bar Saturday night and it was very tasty.

I saw the Absolute Hotel and tried Harry Bar and Grill, the food was looking, the staff, especially Linda, were great and the atmosphere fun

Room, I had 512, totally stupid layout, you open the door directly to your bed a few feet from the door and then bathroom around the corner, absolutely tiny bathroom and room was dated with stains on curtains and carpet layer needs his eyes examined with chunks missing at sides around the room.

The carpet was all paint stained and marks from where previous furniture was.

We had 2 rooms; one that had been redone and one that needed new carpet.

Bath was very big and everything worked as it should work.Minus: furniture and the carpet was old.

although the carpet had seen better days.

The carpet was threadbare with big patches worn away. My granddaughter's bed had strands of black hair between the sheet and the mattress (her hair is blonde) and the floor under the beds was covered in crumbs and dirt (the beds had not been moved and cleaned underneath)

The carpet in the room was filthy, the tile on the bathroom floor was cracked and dirty, the TV was the size of a computer, and the beds were not comfortable.

but carpets were gross and walls needed painting.

Carpet ripped, very very old, run down furniture.

The carpet was stained and worn, the bath was chipped, the windows were dirty, the TV was out of the ark with an ineffective remote control.

The floors in our room were dirty, carpets stained and not vacuumed.

It was horrible, once we stepped off the elevator the carpets weren't laid properly and we're all cuts of carpet stuck together!

however leading the room had torn carpets and were dirty.

However in at least one floor the carpet needed a renewal.

into carpet installation that was in full swing.

Really centrally located within easy walking distance of the fantastic Hunt Museum and King John's Castle, as well as the main shopping streets.

Easy to walk to city centre and the very interesting Hunt museum as well as St Mary's Cathedral.

The location of the hotel is perfect for walking to all the major attractions such as the Treaty Stone, King Johns Castle, Hunt Museum and the river walk along the Shannon.

The hotel is only a short walk to all the shops, milk market, hunt museum, etc.

Close by the Shannon, and good places to visit, ie Limerick museum, Hunt Museum and King Johns castle.

The walls are extremely thin so we could hear any moves made above and around us.

The price for Paddy’s day was exceptional however, as there is a bar in the hotel, it was very noisy until the early hours of the morning - it didn’t bother us too much,

but from noise from the road outside very loud.

Very noisy at night with loud talking in the hallway and slamming of doors.

The only thing to improve would be the noise insulation between rooms with a connecting door.

The room was over the roundabout and was a bit noisy.

but 1 star taken off as the service at breakfast was horrendous- the servers hid in the food area and chatted together- they never checked on their tables after the food arrived.

but the constant noise made it impossible to sleep.

but the room had a locked adjoining door to another room which made it more noisy and a bit uncomfortable.

but the other room had issues too with handles in bathroom, noise coming from other room and room didn't really look like it was cleaned correctly just reset for next customer.

This continued while anyone sitting at tables could hear.
