This hotel is not kept up and definitely not worth the $130 charged for the night.

We were given no consideration for charging our card for this random expense, simply treated as guilty.

Drink machine, toaster, and waffle machine were all broken.

The kids did not have shoes, our lunches were in the microwave, we had just gotten out of the pool, and we were rushed from our rooms eardrums ringing and all of this could have been avoided with a warning.

Told thy couldn't help me with a room with a refrigerator.

I just wish they had mini fridges in the rooms.

There is no on-site restaurant and no way to go out that stormy night so we raided our emergency kit, prepared our kit food in the lobby (there was no microwave or refrigerator in the room) and survived the storm quite comfortably.

Room was disgusting: mold in shower, caulking needed replacing, slap stick property improvement in the shower with plastic shower surround on top of old tile, cockroach in room, and stains on the walls.

The hotel has a strong odor of mold and the air circulation throughout is poor.

The carpet was dirty and the greasy handprints on the window were nasty.

Among the problems were Clammy feeling sheets  Room smelled like mildew Thermostat didn't work Went for breakfast at 8:30 AM  They were out of eggs, waffle mix and the orange juice was very watered down

They need to re-think the water they pass out--it tastes oily like petroleum. Gross.

She stopped talking on the phone for a minute, and I told her about the mold, she said "oh, what room" and went back to her conversation.

however that they refunded the night's stay because they have always been accommodating to my needs (early arrival, having to leave unexpectedly) and never tried to charge me extra.

When I arrived I was told that no king rooms were available.

Could see no reason for blowing the horn  repeatedly at 1 am or even before 7 am when we checked out.

Also, when I arrived it was already after 4am so I requested a late checkout.

Did walk around once just checking things out and never saw a sign for pool so never saw it.

That would have meant checking out at 1pm versus 11am.

However, as informed by the front desk clerk earlier, there is no manager and no one checks the housekeeper's work to make sure the rooms are adequately serviced.

They refused to allow a late checkout past noon.

However, this time I was to arrive a day before they did, and I decided to check this place out.

"The owner/manager" referred to in the previous review had a policy - for every hour you were late after checkout it was $10/hour.

I didn't think much of it until a few days later when they told me that my room along with the entire hotel was booked and I would have to check out.

The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms clean and comfortable; what more could you ask of a hotel?

The first room had lots of dead beetle type bugs on the floor.

If they got their roach problem under control I would recommend this for a night.

We got keys for new rooms--one of those had cigarette ash spread throughout and the other had what looked like blood on the sheets.

The room had no funny smells or pest issues.

All of this said if you do not mind paying more and sleeping in a unclean, no a filthy room go ahead and stay here.

however didn't have hot water the ceiling tiles were nasty from water leaks and as I was collecting my belongings the next morning I found a used condom under my bed  that's just nasty

The bathroom floor was full of dead bugs.

Water was leaking on the tile floor around the ice machine.

On second day we had NO WATER for shower or toilet.

The shower head was broke and despite my request it never got fixed.

Bathroom floor was not very clean, could not get water in tub/shower to come on so could not take a shower.

Dated bathroom and no full length mirror in our room -108.

Then in the room 2  lights did not work, the shower was not really convient for handicap wheelchair.

I forgot toothpaste and front desk kindly gave me toothpaste packets.

but the toilet is freezing with no heating.

He wanted to charge me $25 extra per night from an internet mistake when all he had to do was switch rooms being they had vacancies online.

but confusion at front desk about charges and early departure.

Upon my return, I found that they had double charged my credit card for two different amounts.

Very poor breakfast - we arrived at 08.30 am, no eggs or bacon, 3 yoghurts all the same flavour, apple juice tasted stale, no bananas.No staff to help.

As soon as the elevator doors opened the stench of cigarette smoke permeated the air.

If you're sensitive to smells or have allergy issues, you may want to avoid.

If all you need is a bed to sleep in and you don't mind cigarette smoke, this place is great because it's right off the interstate.

No wonder our non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes.

First off upon arriving the staff was very unfriendly.

The kids did a hotel Scavenger hunt and front desk person was helpful and was happy to help.

There is a McDonald's close as well as a pilot,  sonic, taco bell.
