It was five minutes walk from the chain bridge on the Pest side.

The hotel is in a fantastic location near the Chain Bridge and is beautifully designed and decorated.

The location is fantastic, everything is within a 10 minute walk including the Chain Bridge.

Excellent location in Pest, especially for sight-seeing, a couple of minutes from the Chain Bridge.

A minutes walk from the chain bridge and Danube, bars and restaurants.

Situated down a quiet road, only a couple of minutes stroll to the magnificent Chain Bridge, you can walk to attractions on both sides of the river with ease.

Very central and within easy walking distance of all the Pest side attractions and the chain bridge to get to Buda.

Excellent location  5 minutes from the Basilica one way and the Chain Bridge the other.

A short walk from the Chain Bridge and just around the corner from the Basilica.

We were pleasantly surprised when we left the hotel and discovered we were walking distance to St. Stephens Basilica, the Parliament building (along with the small free museum that is under the sidewalk that explains events of October 6--worth the short visit), the shoes on the Danube, and the Chain Bridge.

You can walk to everything, right on the river, adjacent to the chain bridge and the hop on hop off bus and other transport options.

Superb hotel in great position near the chain Bridge, classical hotel with good furnishings and comfy beds.

This is a beautiful hotel in a central location, very helpful staff, you can buy tram tickets from reception, 2 minutes walk from the Chain Bridge and St Stephen's Basilica, luxury rooms, good breakfasts, modern rooms in a 19th century building, highly recommended.

The location is perfect, being near the chain bridge is ideal for both sides of the danube.

The location is second to none with everything you could want in walking distance - right across from chain bridge, under 5 minutes to the basilica and surrounding restaurants, 10 minutes to the fasion street and 15 minutes to the ruin bars!

The attention to detail is exceptional, daily weather forecasts are left in your room for the following day, the turn down service with the chocolates as a sweet treat and the traffic light advice about busy breakfast times.

Retuning to my room after a long day of touring to find my bed turned down and chocolates waiting was the ultimate treat.

The room itself was tastefully decorated with everything you could possibly need, including complimentary sparkling water and a delicious bar of dark chocolate.

Finally, the little touches like chocolates and a card showing the next days weather forecast added to truly amazing time.

The hotel is spectacular and our room was elegant, clean, and comfortable (with turndown with chocolate each night)!

From the minute we entered the Reception area and experienced the ‘Wow’ factor of the seven floor internal area with glass roof and impressive chandelier, it got better and better, if that was possible… We had kindly been upgraded to a Suite which was amazing.

We were very kindly upgraded to a suite as a birthday treat, the room was immaculate.

We were given a free upgrade to a suite on arrival and the room was spotlessly clean with everything you could ask for, especially the underfloor heating in the bathroom.

We were delighted to be upgraded from a deluxe room to a suite and it was beautiful.

We were both upgraded to a suite and given access immediately which was perfect so we didn’t have to wait until afternoon to check in.

After a horrendous and delayed flight, we arrived hours late on Sunday night and the gentleman on the desk very kindly upgraded us to a suite.

As it was also my 50th birthday the hotel upgraded us from our deluxe room to a suite which was a wonderful surprise.

We told the hotel prior to arrival that we were celebrating our anniversary and we arrived to fine that they upgraded us to a suite and left a lovely bottle of fizz for us.

We arrived early and they kept our bags for us, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and upgraded us to the suite which was a lovely gesture.

We were upgraded to a suite which was perfect, high ceilings, large rooms with beautiful furniture and a very modern and classy style.

The windows face the lobby (no external windows to check the weather).

The rooms only have an internal window, looking over a central atrium / courtyard above the reception.

but most appear to look over the inside of the building and there is no window which you could open to let fresh air come in.

Rooms face an inner courtyard only, which isn’t a problem as view from a window would only be buildings opposite.

My only negative would be that the windows all look towards the internal area of the hotel and none show external views.

We had a room that was internal , the windows looked out on to the lounge and reception area, this seemed a little strange at first

We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and bottles of water in our room and at night our curtains were closed for us and chocolates were left on our bed.

I read some reviews that commented on the noise (since the windows face the interior atrium)

Only one downside is that the only window we had was facing the inside of the hotel,

The only one thing was that our room has windows to the reception so there was no fresh air except AC.

This is not due to us having windows open; because there are no windows that actually open on this floor.

although the windows overlook the lonny and see thru elevator.

Only small thing was the rooms don't have large windows so the rooms can feel a bit cavernous, at least the ones we were in,

everything in the hotel is dedicated to the theme of music.

In the afternoon there was musical entertainment from a guitarist, a singer and pianist all enjoyed along with free cheese and wine between 4-6pm.

My husband and I loved the music options in our room and enjoyed choosing different artists to listen to while we relaxed .

The hotel's theme is music and the choice of music and decor was really good.

but we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast each morning (the best eggs florentine I've ever had and excellent cappucinos), and indulged in the wine and cheese hour on our second day with fantastic live piano and a lovely crisp white wine, generously refilled.

Beautiful idea, wonderful music, unique rooms with the most comfortable beds.

To return to the hotel in the late afternoon to complimentary, Cheese,  wine and music,  in a perfect setting after a day  of sightseeing in beautiful Budapest, was amazing.

The owner had a great idea for a place connected to music hense a very nice interior design, one of the best in my view.

The rooftop bar is great and has fantastic views.

We had a nice breakfast in the atrium cafe area, enjoyed a drink on the roof top bar at night (nice view of the City)  and had great dinner recommendations from the front desk staff, all walking distance from the hotel.

The layout of the rooms, the luxury of the interiors (bedding/towels, etc), the complimentary breakfast & evening wine & cheese and to top it off, the roof top bar which has beautiful views of the city.

Aria’s famous rooftop bar, High Note Skybar, has the most spectacular views, and we enjoyed it every night that we stayed at the hotel.

The roof top bar has one of the best views in Budapest.

I liked a lot the stylish rooms, the roof top bar und the very good breakfast.

but the roof top bar is beautiful and offers wonderful views of the city.

The hotel is amazing, the staff could not have been more helpful, music themed rooms, rooftop bar, entertainment in the afternoon with cheese and wine.

Meanwhile one of the top rooftop bars in Europe, Aria's Rooftop offers extraordinary views of this wonderful city and a cocktail menu that actually points out the city's attractions visible from your rooftop perch.

The rooftop bar was amongst the best and had views overlooking the basilica.

Breakfast is wonderful, afternoon cheese and wine is superb and the rooftop restaurant/bar is fantastic - the ambiance and view are breathtaking.

Aria’s rooftop bar has amazing views of the city.

This is the sign of an excellent hotel - putting customer comfort above profit and not filling the fridge with overpriced drinks.

That said I got no sign of pretension from anyone, nor did I think the price of a coffee was anything other than reasonable for the venue.

The spa/pool was closed 2/3 nights during our stay without prior notice.

the sign on the entrance is so small we totally missed it when we drove by.

Now i hadn’t given any prior warning of my arrival, nor had i given a specific arrival time so i was a bit thrown off as to how they knew who i was, and when i asked, the receptionist just replied ‘its Magic’, which made me even more confused!

If I had to really search for something that was wrong, I would only say that they forgot about my birthday (you know hotels usually have those litthe signs of attention for the quests that are honeymooners, birthday-people or have some other special occasion).

Driver was waiting for us at the airport with a sign.

There are no electronic gates at the metro station preventing you from entering, only a red line on the floor to indicate you have entered so make sure you buy a ticket from a purple ticket machine and get it stamped at the little machines prior to crossing this line and using transport.

however, a sign was posted on the ticket window that they closed early and would be closed the following 2 days.

The view of the hotel is not very remarkable, and it is even difficult to find, as it is not indicated by international flags, or by a visible sign.

We got fresh towels, the scatter cushions were removed from the bed the teabags were replenished, a cloth was put on the carpet by the bed for your bare feet, a box containing two Gerbaud chocolates was put on the bed, etc.

One warning though; if you lower the privacy shade over your window before going to bed, you may experience difficulties waking up.

but then he began rolling his eyes when we requested things, and that is an international sign.

We arrived early in the morning and were pleasantly greeted with offers of coffee and breakfast.

There is enough variety and staff is very polite.

wonderful staff, our Jimi Hendrix themed bedroom was totally amazing as was everything else in the room, little chocolates each night on our pillow was a lovely touch too.

Everyone smiled, they were welcoming, professional, and helpful.

Also, a big special shout out to Jason from Trinidad!

but by no means least, the staff were amazing -  kind, helpful, efficient, eager to please.

Beautiful hotel, great location, and staff were wonderful.

The room was very comfortable, and the concierge service was amazing… able to share with us the places to go and when to go there.

The daily afternoon wine and cheeses were a delight and the spa harmony was tastefully done up.

And to top all this the hotel also offered a complimentary cheese and wine session every day with an exquisite choice of nibbles and drinks.

We enjoyed the Jacuzzi pool most afternoons before enjoying our wine and cheese whilst either listening to a lovely pianist/singer.

The breakfasts and cheese and wine are fantastic and there is fruit, water, tea and coffee available in the library all the time.

Gorgeous piano in the lobby played by a very talented young man accompanied wine and cheese hour.

Complimentary afternoon wine and cheese with live music and singing.

Breakfast and the free afternoon wine and other snacks was fabulous including free entertainment in the afternoon.

The afternoon wine and cheese reception was a nice touch and we had a lovely lady who remembered our drink orders from the first day we attended.

Fabulous design, big beautiful rooms, great free wine tasting from 4-6, with cheese.

The breakfast buffet and the evening wine & cheese hour were some of the highlights of our stay.

The most exceptional part was staff (special thank you to Balázs S.) Whereas we would go to the desk to make reservations at the other hotels we stayed in, and sometimes feel like a burden, hotel personnel at Aria proactively approached us each night, asking if we needed any assistance with reservations while we enjoyed their complimentary cheese and wine in the lobby.

There is a continental breakfast offered, 
The music hour(actually a 2-hour "hour" :)) happens every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between 4 to 6 pm where you can sit in the hotel lobby having a glass of wine on the house and enjoying the live music.

She was tremendously helpful in coordinating taxis, airport transfer and airline tickets.

I shpuld also mention they provided private transfer from the airport, two free welcome drinks and a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary.

We booked our three night stay directly on the hotel website, which included a (one way) transfer from the airport as part of the package.

It is only five minutes walk from Tram and Metro stations, and only a 10 minute easy walk from the Airport bus drop-off point Kalvin Tér.
