It is well located, near the underground, bus and tram, and the City centre is at a walk-distance. Recommended.

We went on our wedding trip to here for 6 days, breakfast is bland and same all throw, the spa is not worth mentioning, beds are really good, location is Ok

Breakfast food overcooked & poor quality nothing special.

Breakfast is rather poor - despite a reasonable selection, it was lacking quality & variety unless you fancy Greek salad or cake!

The only comment I have to make was the bedrooms were quite dark due to poor lighting and grey walls- needed central lights as I do like to read before going to bed.

One other gripe is the poor standard of towels - really small, thin and greyish-looking.

The only thing that we had issue with and what gives it a 4/5 rating is our air conditioning seemed to be poor.

My only criticism is the breakfast which we only had on one day and was poor quality.

The rooms are a slight let down on what is expected from first impressions as the shower is very slow, the towels were poor quality and the beds were hard.

The shower was rather poor too, not great water pressure and unless you book a superior room you do not get tea or coffee making facilities which was a disappointment as always had that facility even in budget hotels.

Reception is quite helpful, and in Hungary you must temporarily turn over your passport to them at check-in (Hungarian law we were told).

Excellent hotel, staff very polite and knowledgeable.

Customer service was welcoming, helpful and good, so first impression was nice straight away when you walked In.

But not the best - and definitely the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever encountered.

The beds seem to have been missed of the revamp list and were a little uncomfortable.

The ugly; the rooms are very dark, the TV tiny, the bathroom almost as small as the TV the beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Moreover the VIEWS to a sandlot, the CARPET mouquette in all the room, the thin MATRESS, and uncomfortable PILLOW, and the short length of the BED (with a furniture just next to the bed), the worse was it was an old room, with a questionable style of DECORATION, POOR LIGHT and noising AIR conditioner.

The bar area is uncomfortable with fabric covered plastic seats and plain wooden tables.

However, in practice it makes for an uncomfortable and cramped shower not helped by the side wall hung taps that take up about a third of the width of the bath.

The bathroom door has no lock, so it was a little uncomfortable for us as we traveled with a kid.

Had four very uncomfortable days in the Museum as our room was in the attic on the 7th floor and when the weather turned warmer we were denied air conditioning as it was Hotel policy that it was not made active until temperatures were higher, As a result we found the room unbearable especially for sleeping.So if you go to this hotel in warm weather and are allocated a room on the 7th floor refuse to take it.

The room was far too hot and despite attempting to lower the thermostat to 5degrees the temperature didn't drop and it was uncomfortable to sleep.

Bed, two mattresses pushed together, quite uncomfortable with a lump in the centre and also strange that both sides of the bed were covered with a single quilt (one for each side).

but basic, the bathroom was clean and tidy, the curtains could do with updating and the bed we thought was very uncomfortable but that is our personal opinion.

The main issue was the mattress which was absolutely rock hard and extremely uncomfortable so did not feel well rested.

We had to open the street-side window to make it comfortable for sleeping.

The air conditioner was only heating and not cooling , so the room was either very hot, or very cold when opening the window.

and had to leave my room window open because the heat was relentless and I couldn’t shut it off.

My only very small complaint was that the narrow window didn't let in much light so it was a little dark even in the middle of the day.

The window came in handy when we needed to open it to offset the high heat.

HVAC wasn't working and room very hot, opening window helped.

Rooms very warm so I had to open the window until about 2 am in order to sleep comfortably.

The solution he gave me was open a window.

People smoking outside the doorway made us having to endure smoke entering our window all the time which as non smokers made us feel ill. The wardrobe had 4 coat hangers (2 adults staying 4 nights!)

Ended up shutting off the heat and opening the window in order to be comfortable.

but a little gloomy due to only one small window.

Even with the curtains not drawn, the room was a little dark.

Room was dark with more wall than windows.

but fortunately, the windows could be flung wide open so we managed.

We like to sleep with the window open which was fine until about 6am when the dustbin lorry etc arrived, absolutely not the hotels fault and closing the window solved the problem.

People above us walked like elephants, toillet flushing and shower water going down the drain from the people above  was very loud, garbage containers put outside in front of our window at 12 o’clock night, stacking empty bottle crates at 12 o’clock night, mini-bar wasnt cold had to find the plug first and insert it, 1 person bedsheets, soft pillows, heater didnt work (got fixt when we mentioned it to staff).

Only negative was the air con did not work for the 3 nights we stayed we relocated rooms so we could leave a window open at night.

But apparently the aircondition is still not working after 5 years of complaines.

Even with the fan they supplied, it felt like there was no air!

Furthermore, the thermostat in our room (42) was clearly broken, so we relied heavily on the desk fan provided, to cope with the stiflingly hot and stuffy air!

The air-conditioning was out and there was only 1 working socket in the room so God forbid you should want to keep the fan running and charge your mobile device at the same time.

Staff friendly enough, happy enough with our stay, apart from being told that is wasn’t possible to have air conditioning turned on at this time of year, so it was a bit old fashioned.. as usually can control own room air conditioning in any other hotel regardless of the temperature outside, so it was quite unpleasant to experience being unable to sleep in the clammy, suffocating room warmth even with the use of a fan and window opened.

The only downside was lack of air on in the room as it is now heating season!

The first night of three of our stay we were given a room with broken air conditioning, in 30+ C air conditioning is a necessity.

but we believe that they just forgot to turn the heater on.

Breakfast room was ok, AC was not on (38° C).

During of 4 days was no air conditioning in the hotel .

Its 30 degrees and I was informed by the guy on reception (at 9pm Tue 13th June) that the air con isn't working, as a consequence we had to open the only window in the room to what is the loudest road I have ever heard, making for an impossible nights sleep, the guy on reception said "there's nothing I can do"  now that may be the case regarding the air con

The only grumble we had was that the room was quite hot and the air-con didn't seem to work in the room -

If you're not a big fan of cold meats, the 10 Euro breakfast is probably best avoided for something more appetising in the city.

The room was also stifling hot; the air con system was very old and it just blew out very hot air no matter what setting it was on.

but the room did not have aircondition and the noise from the street was intense most of the night.

but not too bad with windows shut and a/c on - no more than a usual city/ town.

The room was dark not well lit - only one out two bulbs on the wall unit was present 
The plug socket in the bathroom was not working - very few sockets in the room 
More importantly the air conditioning system in the whole hotel was not working.

BREAKFAST was fine cereals ,yogurts,pastries ,etc cold meats and cheeses and a hot choice of scrambled eggs and sausages .BAR great selection of drinks in a very comfy bar area and great prices for a hotel,their is also an outside terrace area to sit .LOCATION you are a  good 30 minute walk away from Pest itself

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel either, therefore we have no comment.

Breakfast was ample and always fresh bread.

Good location out of main centre with great public transport and a very good restaurant few minutes walk Highly recommended.

Only a 10min walk to the centre and regular bus links make it very convenient to travel.

Few meter from hotel is a bus stop that takes you directly to center (for example: Ferenciek tere or Astoria station) from there you can easily explor the city center by foot.

But it is roomy and well located to get to the city centre.

The hotel is situated out of the centre on the 'Buda' side.

but regularly got the bus, numbers 110, 112, E8, all go into city centre.

The MOM Park shopping centre is in walking distance should you need things (& has a taxi rank if that's a better fit for your travel).

A garage/ spar shop, a few bars and a shopping centre is not far from the hotel and within 5-10 minute walk.

The hotel is out of the centre and taxi's can range from 2400 (around £7) huf to 6800 (around £15) huf.

but a few meters walk , you on the main bus route to the Centre bus number 8E, 110 , and 112 will take you to the heart of all the activity

Breakfast is good , they only serve breakfast.

The walk to the city centre is mostly downhill, and very straightforward.

Although it’s not in the city centre, it is only a 30 minute walk away or 8 minutes on the bus (bus stop only 200 metres from hotel).

Cheap and cheerful hotel with reasonably close travel to the city centre (bus  1 Euro or taxi 7-10 euro).

It was about £14 for a week's travel card(2022).

Its multilingual and you can pay with card as well.

), is that after purchasing mineral water from the minibar in our room, I was charged an extra 500f (not mentioned in the pricing!

The not so good - we could find one socket in our room, and one in the bathroom, there were none by the bedside for charging phones.

Unfortunately I had only credit card with me and I was in hurry, so I could not go to shopping center to withdraw money.

however, we were not notified that we would be charged for using them.

but used jacuzzi and sauna facility - it is good addition for a charge of 6€ per person, better to use if you have a bigger company I suppose.

My only grumble/complaint was that the card given to us on arrival stated 12 noon checkout

but if you do not want to buy the Budapest cards it costs 400fl, 1 euro 30 roughly, on the number 8 bus into the centre of Pest.

But only after my bank statement I have realized it was "better" for the hotel, as they have charged us 30euros more.

Firstly / On arrival the check in clerk tried to charge us to pay 4000 Huf each per night  saying it was a local tax which was not included in our package.

although it is stated on the door that they accept American Express - my card wasn't accepted.

When I asked at reception I was told i had to purchase a card to use the wifi.

but, nothing was done] Being charged for mini-bar items we had never used[but it didn`t matter what we said they took no notice what so ever].

There is an underground garage, and we left our car without any feer (its free of charge).

The parking charge was also high at 10 Euros per night.

but both have to be paid for; it would be nice if at least the internet computer would be free of charge for customers.

This is not a 4 star hotel due to the lack of services one would expect as standard at 4 star level.

On a very busy road, room far too hot hardly slept due to traffic and heat.

but this meant you could not sleep with the window open due to the constant, very loud noise.

but it is tricky for new travelers due to one way traffic.

We were a bit disappointed when we arrived at the hotel due to the very busy location and fairly modest appearance

Upon arrival I realised the front of the hotel needs to be addressed we found it to be very slippy due to the very bad Ice the area was experience and it seems no one had bothered to put some grit down to help with the situation.

Just an average hotel, I would not say it's 4* property, more like 3* due to condition and amenities.

As I was at the front of the hotel and a light sleeper found it difficult to get a good sleep due to traffic noise.

A lot of noise due to traffic during night time,  poor breakfast 
(comparing to 100 E/ night hotel) and lack air con is the dark side.

If possible ask for a room at the back as a front bedroom may be a bit noisy due to road.

We had to go on line and prove that all monies were payed for in full through Click and Go and we were not due to pay anything more.

We thought the price in the area is generally much higher than in other part of the city due to lack of competition and lots of foreigners.

We were recommended the restaurant up the road for lunch when we arrived, food was ok

Right beside bus station is also a pub where you can go for a diner.

I really loved it, I've found everything what I love to eat for breakfast.

They do not provide dinner or lunch, they recommend to visit  restaurant nearby,

Eating locally is not so easy, there is one restaurant very close to the hotel

A little pub on the corner selling food quite reasonable too.

I did politely point out that as breakfast is served between 07:00 - 10:00, it is reasonable to allow up till 10:30 to finish eating!

Although we didn’t try much of their food what we did was good.

Good Location as the bus stop it two minutes walk and also a lovely little bar on the corner of the road which serves food (can also get a pizza to takeaway).

We did the dinner cruise and got back on public transport without issue.

There is a bar/restaurant approximately 150m away which offers great food at very reasonable prices.

Comfortable, nicely decorated, and clean rooms.
