She was tremendously helpful in coordinating taxis, airport transfer and airline tickets.

I shpuld also mention they provided private transfer from the airport, two free welcome drinks and a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary.

We booked our three night stay directly on the hotel website, which included a (one way) transfer from the airport as part of the package.

It is only five minutes walk from Tram and Metro stations, and only a 10 minute easy walk from the Airport bus drop-off point Kalvin Tér.

Location is great on the pest side, one street back from the River Danube.

We booked direct and as a result received a free airport transfer (usually 30 euros), city tax paid and free cocktails voucher.

We got a private transfer, booked via Mozio, from the airport and the journey took around 35 mins.

I had booked my stay direct with the hotel because that came with the offer of a free airport transfer - I used that on the way home.

They booked taxi to and from airport and arranged spa treatments for Széchenyi bath.

Location - Easy access from the airport (via the express bus), to the train station (via the subway) and to all the sites in Budapest.

The same when we decided to book a private transfer back to the airport.

We had free and private airport transfer and free drinks as we booked direct and stayed for the required number of nights.

Staff on reception were always helpful and friendly and helped us book transport to Szechenyi Baths and advised us on details of a evening cruise in the Danube which was lovely and also arranged our transfers from and back to the airport.

they also offer taxi service to the airport (not free)

I would advise to take a pick up from the airport as it takes away the hassle of finding your way in.

Exceptionally clean and a great location.

On the plus side,  The rooms were clean and beds were made everyday and they gave you free bottled water, tea and coffee.

The rooms are very clean and the location is just great and you can walk from the hotel to any point in the city.

I think they've rented out the rooms next door as a set to film the next installment of Die Hard as it is unbearably noisy.

Our room was big - a suite, i think, so we had a door divider between the 2 areas.

I went back to my room to get ready for my day when there was a knock at my door.

I gave this 4 stars because of the AC issue and because there is no door on the shower and water just gets EVERYWHERE no matter how careful you are lol!

but in Europe sometimes you will find showers with no doors so water gets all over the floor if you are not very careful.

negatives: the shower has no door or curtains so the water just goes everywhere.

but the main doors might be harder due to their weight and the cobblestones outside.

I don't understand why they don't just install a glass door in the space where there is currently no glass.

but the door was too stiff to move not that we needed to use it anyway.

We could hear everything next door and everything outside.

If you stay, try the little music bar 3 doors to the right, 1 Euro a drink seemed to be the idea,

This is a very well designed hotel, sound proofed windows, no doors banging.

On the last morning I had to open the door and say “ssh”!

However the shower has a strange design with no door or screen so it floods the whole bathroom floor, very annoying.

but again in a contrived, ironic sort of way, but it's not in any way uncomfortable and while I initially thought there were no wardrobes, I eventually found them – and a minibar – simply by pressing the walls and hoping that doors would open for me; they did.

What we got was a nice room with a 'sitting room' separated from tiny bedroom with a sliding door.

although there is space near the door to leave suitcases so they don't get in the way too much.

but you could not shower without soaking the entire bathroom, based on where the spigot was located and the fact that there was no curtain or door around the tub.

In a perfect location and so well priced compared to everything around.

The staff are friendly and helpful.The hotel is in a great location close to the Grand Market and 450m to the tram and metro station also served by buses.

We were with in walking distance to Vaci street, the huge indoor market, Freedom Bridge, etc.

The location was close to an incredible market full of vendors selling everything from spices to sausages.

Was a 3 minute walk from Central Market and about a 20 minute walk to Chain Bridge, Shoes on the Danube, Parliament Building.

Location near the river in the centre of town was so handy especially as it is very close to the Gellert Spa baths and the superb market.

The location was good.Breakfast area and the big selection of food were great.The Hotel is clean.The stuff is helpful.

It was conveniently located and in walking distance to many of the sights and at a price that enabled us to splash out on nice meals and excursions during the trip.

Finally, this hotel was insane value for money and we really appreciated the little extras like a welcome drink in the bar (the bartender who's name escapes me, was so passionate about Hungarian produce so he gave us plenty of tips as to eating and drinking in the city), coffees in the afternoon and as we booked one of the Sweetheart rooms, we also got a bottle of prosecco thrown in.

I decided to book on the website directly as we got a transfer to the hotel and some complimentary cocktails included.

The hotel is in the perfect location for sightseeing, shopping and is close to lovely cafes, restaurants and bars.

They advertised live music and had a lovely menu.

Room is small and if you are traveling with a bunch of luggage you could have some problems.

The breakfast was extraordinary and there was a very big choice of different food.

The staff were all great and looked after us really well - from Benedek, Adam and David on the front desk to Amarilla who brings joy and a big smile to breakfast time.

Small disadvantage was that the room was dark.

Our room was one of the dark rooms, room 14, beautifully presented.

The only negative was the room was very dark and a bit austere - could do with more lighting and colour.

Downsides - our room was a little dark and some noise from the bar downstairs on weekend.

they are a little dark, so putting your makeup on has to be done in the bathroom,

My only slight gripe was that the room did appear a little on the dark side unless the curtains were fully drawn

but inspire of large windows, it was slightly dark.

The "regular"  rooms have gray walls - it makes the room dark .

although on the dark side, was very restful.

I would only suggest a better lightening of "cool" rooms that are a little too dark.

The second one is that the bedside lamp is too dark and it was a bit difficult for me to read in bed before sleep.

The room (number 15) needed more lighting (dark walls, dim lights) and the only place to sit was on the chair by the desk - there is enough space for a couple of chairs and this would have been welcomed.

Now the beds are on the soft side , the halls have motion lights so its dark until you step into them.

The hotel has auto light sensors which come on a bit too late as you climb the stairs, leaving the steps rather dark even in daytime.
