Air conditioning was not the issue, so I responded back to them again and they told me I needed to contact the hotel directly.

Worst experience, the room was hot no air conditioning in the property and when we went for lunch and came back the batteries to the door were dead so we had to wait for maintenance almost a hour and all they said was sorry about that.

The front desk stated they had no A/C in the building!

The room was over 80 degrees in the room and when I called down to ask if the A/C worked they said they don't have A/C and nobody does in the mountains.

No hot water, no a/c, musty concrete dust smell throughout the hallways which is probably a health hazard.

Under construction and no air conditioning.

When we were checking in we were informed the hotel had NO Air Conditioning.

That the entire hotel did not have air conditioning.

The hallways are in horrible shape, the hotel smells musty, there is no A/C, the check in location is a far distance from the entrance, the rooms are located a far distance from the check in, the employees are useless and apathetic, and the rooms are dark, outdated, and in disrepair.

I reversed and went back to the desk to tell them I was not checking in, that there was mold in the air, filth on the surfaces (I have photos), and no air circulation or A/C.

This is needed as it’s humid   With Climate change and not so cool in Summer. Wish I could upload the gross photos just say everything and our room made us check out within minutes of checking in, room musty, open window, screen looked as if someone tried to break in, air cleaner/purifier had gray greasy dust on front vents (why did they need a air purifier???)

We discovered that the building had no air conditioning.

Hilton doesn’t tell you that there is NO air conditioning in this hotel.

Come to find out the hotel was built with no air-conditioning.

No AC no pool or hot tub on pro on ptperty Place is Dplus at best.

Also, there is no AC in the entire hotel, and we were not informed of this until we walked into our room!

Although there were many things we missed about the DoubleTree from January (including a full-service cafe, ski valet, housekeeping services, water and hot cocoa in the lobby, and DoubleTree chocolate chip cookies!

They give you a "warm" DoubleTree cookie which is not always the case as more often than not the cookies are just sitting on a table at room temp so the warm cookie was a nice welcome.

The delicious and warm cookies are always the best part of check in at any Doubletree Hotel.

Josh the shuttle driver was always super friendly, timely and had warm cookies.

Later on when our room keys inadvertently stopped working, Andrene promptly corrected the problem with a smile and more cookies.

Very convenient location and shuttle, all the warm cookies, very nice room, and the friendliest staff ever.

but the female front desk employee was very apologetic and made sure our luggage was delivered to the room and that we had plenty complimentary cookies.

I especially loved the fireplaces in the lobby and the warm cookies!

The Doubletree Cookies were also the perfect ski snacks, and we definitely loaded up on those.

The daily warm cookies are so scrumptious!

We got to enjoy free s'mores in their restaurant during happy hour and we always love the Doubletree cookies!

The hot cookies by the lobby fireplace is a sweet treat.

Nice hotel, good hot tubs, hot cookies every time I walked in the front door.

Their complimentary chocolate chip cookies were delicious.

Each day they greeted you warmly, asked how your stay was and offered you hot cookies.

We arrived early this last trip (10:00 AM) and they were able to check us in, park the car, valet our skis, and sent us off with warm cookies.

Tony checked us in and gave us cookies and waters.

Poor parking; one elevator; must change elevators and walk down long hall to reach assigned floor.

Had to take two or three elevators to hunt for your room!

After getting on the singular elevator for the all of the hotel guests and employees, we  arrived on the sixth floor our room was filthy and the bathtub would not drain.

Construction mess, no amenities available and the elevator doors were blocked by fire safety doors.

A young man escorted me towards our room and while in the elevator, we met another patron who informed us that he was headed to the desk for a refund, as there was no A/C in his room.

Getting to our room took two elevators and a long walk through a urine smelling hallway to get up to our floor.

What they don't tell you is:
-You have to move your luggage in and out of plywood floors and ramps, down halls with torn up carpet and walls, up one elevator, move to another elevator, and around a stinky maze.

Our room was so far away from the lobby that is took two trips, two different elevators, and about an 8 minute stroll down a very long hallway to get our luggage to our room.

Trying to move around contractors with ladders and paint to get on the only elevator in.

Finally, we were told to take multiple elevators and cross the building to other elevators to our room.

Filthy carpet through the service hall way to get to the elevator to the makeshift lobby.

No elevator working to transport luggage multiple floors. 2.

Loud trucks outside ur window and disgusting elevator.

We had to take three elevators to get to the 8th floor room, and two to go back to the pool.. and you have to go outside to go back inside to the parking garage.

This property needs a Renovation the only plus is its cross from the peak nine chair lifts

I figured it out and used a combo of stairs and elevators and it wasn’t too bad.

The people were friendly, exceptionally helpful, rooms were clean, could not have asked for a better experience after the disaster next-door at the Doubletree.

but the staff was friendly and helpful and the views of the mountains was incredible.

my family and i stayed there in april of 22 for a few days of skiiing      we were greeted by harry the concierge a great friendly helpful gentleman.

Even with a big crowd arriving at the same time, the front desk staff handled everything efficiently and in a friendly manner.

The staff was friendly and accommodating.

I absolutely do not blame the staff, they’re very nice and friendly.

Beds are comfortable, staff is friendly, and rooms are clean.

The hotel room itself was fine and the location was great for skiing.

but every day I came back from skiing to a super clean room.

Went for skiing and i could walk to the slopes which should be mainly they best and only reason to stay here.

For good pastries and sandwiches, The La Francaise was our go to. Outside of Skiing, Good Times offers dog sledding(which was a blast!)

We stayed here last Christmas for skiing at Breckenridge.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a great location for skiing, this is your place!

Be thankful you wake up to go skiing and there is someone to serve your hot breakfast with a smile before You hit the slopes for The day.

I get that skiing required lots of equipment and the property is going to take a beating

But not being able to enjoy our room due to it being a sauna means, only stay there when you go skiing and not when it’s warm outside.

Pick 9 is the best place to start your skiing techniques upgrades .

After a day of skiing, we hit the hot tub then walk to town for dinner and browsing the shops.

Great location for skiing is one of the few upsides this hotel has.

The food was great and the hot tub was refreshing after a long day of skiing!

We only stayed for one night and were happy to leave at the first ocassion in the morning to have breakfast in town

The only advantage I recognised: It is close to a chairlift with access to the skiing area

Got run around on when hot water would be available from desk staff.

I am a diamond member of the Hilton Hotels and an owner of two HGVC resorts.

They were so nice and professional, it literally saved our vacation!

When other guests were checking in, already complaining of their experience, I chimed in and was asked to leave the lobby. The next morning the staff apologized for her behavior stating she was "new."

Let’s start with a positive:  the housekeeping staff did a great job given what they had to work with.

When we arrived there were already 2 people at the front desk complaining.

They gladly welcomed numerous unhappy guests from the Doubletree with open happy arms!

though kind, was as unable to finish helping us.

Upon entering our room, we were greeted with a lovely, large, red stain on the carpet.

I've been a Diamond member with Hilton for almost 8 years and never have always felt welcomed.

I can’t say enough good things about the three members of the staff that I actually had contact with.

First off, the hotel staff is fantastic, from the valet guys to the front desk, to housekeeping.

The staff from the valet to the front desk to the restaurant staff was fantastic.

I was welcomed by great valet workings then greeted by super sweet front desk workers!

The valet and front desk staff were very friendly.

Staff were great except for the valet service, it appears only one attends allowed to drive the cars.

As a positive, the front line staff (restaurant, front desk, housekeeping, and the valet attendants) we met were professional and came off as hard working.

The slopes are a very short walk from the ski valet and they have some of the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever encountered!

On arrival the valet staff were not interested in helping us unload a family ski trip worth of luggage.

Valet was very helpful and took care of all our bags.

Housekeeping attempted to force way into room while we were in it and male in downstairs bathroom cleaning yet not closed off and wouldn’t walk out so we could use it as our room wasn’t available.

At check in was told the bar is closed and there is no restaurant.

We were bummed the pool closed early in the season, at least the spa was open.

This time of year does lend itself to some places being closed,

even though the bar itself was closed (I assumed due to COVID) We enjoyed the resort shuttle and literally never waited more than 2 minutes to get one.

The outdoor grill area was closed for service

I did not use the pool, gym or bike shop, lounge was closed.

The pool was closed, which was disappointing.

We were disappointed that the pools was closed for the month,

We had to drive to Frisco to try out The Lost Cajun - the one in Breckenridge was closed for the week.

but was disappointed that many we wanted to try were closed.

Diesel fumes coming in any open window, construction debris dropping onto the porch of you room,  construction noises all day long, most amenities.. closed, limited room selection.

There is also underground parking which is closed at night requiring room card key for access.

Funny little issues were present so not a perfect rating (knobs fell off the showers, TP dispenser feel off the wall, every drawer in the dressers would roll open or not stay closed).

We quickly learned to keep the blinds closed during the day and opened at night, with the ceiling fans and boxed fans the temperature was a comfortable 68-71.

Turned out that it was owned by the neighboring HOA and they had closed it for the off-season, leaving nothing for the resort guests.

Unless you call ahead to request a room with a view, you may get stuck facing the mountain on the first floor which makes you feel very closed in.

The folks who work there are helpful and friendly.

And getting around town was a breeze, with the friendly shuttle drivers taking us all over town.

Pros: Our place had a hot tub and grills, great shuttle service (dedicated to lifts in early AM and late afternoon which is great for a day on the slopes), ski storage and rental onsite, nicely equipped kitchen, friendly and helpful staff.

The people at the reception area were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our requests.

Our suite was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Everyone working there was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure their guests were taken care of.

Customer service was great - Chris, Derk and Becky were very friendly and always helpful.

The staff was very friendly and professional and seemed to enjoy being there.

And the property is so well maintained and friendly.

The staff and employees were friendly and helpful; the condos were well stocked with amenities; and  the comfort, the quiet and the location were excellent.

Tyler at the front desk was very welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

Tyler , the Manager at the resort , was simply amazing along with his entire staff .. it was a home away from home , super friendly, beautiful location, awesome resort. .

The gym and three hot tubs are very nice.

From the kids' arcade to a well equipped gym, sauna, hot tubs and a pool, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

The Lodge’s three huge hot tubs, nice clean rooms with updated appliances, and a complete ski rentals shop added to the fun and comfort of the trip.

Maintenance staff was super attentive and kept deck clear of snow and checked the hot tub every day.

They advertise hot tubs, pools, bars and restaurants.

Fitness center adequate along with Hot tubs (3) together

My teenagers loved the pool, hot tubs, fitness center and game room.

New hot tubs really helped after a day of skiing and shuttle to ski base/downtown was really appreciated.

Hot tubs, pool and workout room were all spotless and we used them the entire time.

We also took advantage of the hot tubs and loved that robes were provided as well.

We had a balcony that was right next to the hot tubs,

Hot tubs were well taken care of and we used the pool table as well one evening.

The sauna and hot tubs were great and we had a massage on site which was amazing.

We had a hot tub room and that was probably the best part about Valdoro.

The pool next door is available as well as the spas/hot tubs on property.

A fairly nice spa (three hot tubs and a steam room) including massage services was available.

Excellent accommodations close to downtown shops and restaurants.

We love it’s location being within walking distance to downtown Breck.

Walking distance to downtown, shuttle available for those that need transportation.

It is very conveniently located near town so no driving was needed for shopping or restaurants.

The location is walking distance to downtown and all shops and restaurants.

The Lodge is within walking distance and is a great little town to explore,

Resort is also easy walking distance to downtown Breckenridge where plenty of restaurants and shops are all readily available.

The property is very nice within easy walking distance of the town if you choose not to take their shuttle which is always available at a moments notice.

If you wish for an experience of professional warmth from the staff for a relaxing stay while the proximity to the town of Breckenridge couldn’t be better- this is the perfect place.

The town is walkable with great places to eat and places to shop.

Very close to downtown within walking distance.

The resort is within easy walking distance to town or the ski slopes.

Shuttle service was prompt, location just minutes from downtown, walking distance to downtown Breckenridge if prefer, ski lifts very close, on-site ski rental, spa services were enjoyed, as was pool table!

Overall this was a nice stay close to town with lots to do.

Shuttle service was on point and the Check in for Ski's and Snowboards was super fast and convenient.

We especially enjoyed the shuttle service.

The shuttle service is EXCELLENT and a wonderful amenity.

The location is convenient with easy access to multiple ski lifts and hiking trails in summer, together with shuttle services provided by resort staff.

I recommend this Hilton property, quality staff, quiet location with shuttle service around Breckenridge.

Shuttle service drops off and picks up at base of lift and takes you downtown to restaurants and shopping.

Located very close to slopes with unparalleled shuttle service throughout the Breckenridge area.

We did not utilize the shuttle service, as we wanted to walk everywhere.

While close to all areas of interest Valdoro runs shuttle service for your conveinance.

Shuttle service has become less efficient.

Although no restaurant on the premises, the resort offered Concierge, Spa, Lounge, exercise room, and shuttle service to and from town; all excellent delivered by the staff!

The downtown shuttle service makes it easy to park your car in the garage and leave it there until it is time to check out.

They also have a shuttle service that’s included!

The shuttle service they offer is such an amazing treat.

Valdoro had rental equipment at a discount, shuttle service to within steps of Peak 9 lift, daily happy hours in the lounge, multiple fireplaces to enjoy (lounges AND in-room), and a ski/boot storage room so you did not have to lug your stuff upstairs every time - and they hardly let us carry our own stuff they were so helpful.

The staff is very helpful and customer service is exceptional.
