Air conditioning was not the issue, so I responded back to them again and they told me I needed to contact the hotel directly.

Worst experience, the room was hot no air conditioning in the property and when we went for lunch and came back the batteries to the door were dead so we had to wait for maintenance almost a hour and all they said was sorry about that.

The front desk stated they had no A/C in the building!

The room was over 80 degrees in the room and when I called down to ask if the A/C worked they said they don't have A/C and nobody does in the mountains.

No hot water, no a/c, musty concrete dust smell throughout the hallways which is probably a health hazard.

Under construction and no air conditioning.

When we were checking in we were informed the hotel had NO Air Conditioning.

That the entire hotel did not have air conditioning.

The hallways are in horrible shape, the hotel smells musty, there is no A/C, the check in location is a far distance from the entrance, the rooms are located a far distance from the check in, the employees are useless and apathetic, and the rooms are dark, outdated, and in disrepair.

I reversed and went back to the desk to tell them I was not checking in, that there was mold in the air, filth on the surfaces (I have photos), and no air circulation or A/C.

This is needed as it’s humid   With Climate change and not so cool in Summer. Wish I could upload the gross photos just say everything and our room made us check out within minutes of checking in, room musty, open window, screen looked as if someone tried to break in, air cleaner/purifier had gray greasy dust on front vents (why did they need a air purifier???)

We discovered that the building had no air conditioning.

Hilton doesn’t tell you that there is NO air conditioning in this hotel.

Come to find out the hotel was built with no air-conditioning.

No AC no pool or hot tub on pro on ptperty Place is Dplus at best.

Also, there is no AC in the entire hotel, and we were not informed of this until we walked into our room!

Poor parking; one elevator; must change elevators and walk down long hall to reach assigned floor.

Had to take two or three elevators to hunt for your room!

After getting on the singular elevator for the all of the hotel guests and employees, we  arrived on the sixth floor our room was filthy and the bathtub would not drain.

Construction mess, no amenities available and the elevator doors were blocked by fire safety doors.

A young man escorted me towards our room and while in the elevator, we met another patron who informed us that he was headed to the desk for a refund, as there was no A/C in his room.

Getting to our room took two elevators and a long walk through a urine smelling hallway to get up to our floor.

What they don't tell you is:
-You have to move your luggage in and out of plywood floors and ramps, down halls with torn up carpet and walls, up one elevator, move to another elevator, and around a stinky maze.

Our room was so far away from the lobby that is took two trips, two different elevators, and about an 8 minute stroll down a very long hallway to get our luggage to our room.

Trying to move around contractors with ladders and paint to get on the only elevator in.

Finally, we were told to take multiple elevators and cross the building to other elevators to our room.

Filthy carpet through the service hall way to get to the elevator to the makeshift lobby.

Loud trucks outside ur window and disgusting elevator.

We had to take three elevators to get to the 8th floor room, and two to go back to the pool.. and you have to go outside to go back inside to the parking garage.

This property needs a Renovation the only plus is its cross from the peak nine chair lifts

I figured it out and used a combo of stairs and elevators and it wasn’t too bad.

The people were friendly, exceptionally helpful, rooms were clean, could not have asked for a better experience after the disaster next-door at the Doubletree.

but the staff was friendly and helpful and the views of the mountains was incredible.

my family and i stayed there in april of 22 for a few days of skiiing      we were greeted by harry the concierge a great friendly helpful gentleman.

Even with a big crowd arriving at the same time, the front desk staff handled everything efficiently and in a friendly manner.

I am a diamond member of the Hilton Hotels and an owner of two HGVC resorts.

They were so nice and professional, it literally saved our vacation!

When other guests were checking in, already complaining of their experience, I chimed in and was asked to leave the lobby. The next morning the staff apologized for her behavior stating she was "new."

Let’s start with a positive:  the housekeeping staff did a great job given what they had to work with.

When we arrived there were already 2 people at the front desk complaining.

They gladly welcomed numerous unhappy guests from the Doubletree with open happy arms!

though kind, was as unable to finish helping us.

Upon entering our room, we were greeted with a lovely, large, red stain on the carpet.

I've been a Diamond member with Hilton for almost 8 years and never have always felt welcomed.

I can’t say enough good things about the three members of the staff that I actually had contact with.

So many problems with our keys we had to walk far to open doors for our family members like the room or pool as keys were not functioning and even with key exchanges still had problems.

Apparently putting doors on the kitchenette cabinets is too upscale.

She yelled at my daughter (7years old) and myself one morning bc she left the shuttle running out front with the doors closed for longer than 5 mins and I called the shuttle number to let someone know we were out there and she came out of the lodge and yelled at my for calling.

The room was greatly sound insulated so I never heard other guests nearby whether walking up and down the hall or opening doors.

Building hallways and elevator were dirty and doors and trimwork were worn and rundown.

Check out is 10am and at 9 am housekeeping was knocking at our door.

Trying to relax in the evening while listening to the alarm next door, annoying.

The toilet, shower, and 1 sink were in a room separate from the rest of the bathroom, with 1 door that opened into the other part of the bathroom, and another door that opened into the rest of the condo.

Doors did not open and close properly in the room and even the coffee pot leaked all over the counter and had to be replaced.

There were cleaning seals on our doors when we first entered.

As I arrived to my room the door was kinda open and I just thought maybe they had left it open. NOPE.

Room service consisted of a bag of towels and a few other items left by the room door each day.

There was a door in our room that led to the lockoff portion that we assumed was our other room,

we were also at the end of the building and heard the door slamming consistently in the morning when skiers headed out.

.. when loud people are in the room next door.

Finally, we ran out of towels and when housekeeping knocked on our door   by mistake (he meant to go to building 8-we were in building 7)we asked him for some  towels.

When I went to do that, I ended up fracturing my small toe when it hit the door frame in their bathroom.

Soon after check in we hear a knock at the door and there was a staff member delivering a basket with champagne,chocolate, and yogurt covered pretzels.

Both couples had their own space with the ability to open the adjoining door.

The staff (check in, concierge, cleaning, and maintenance) are always so friendly to interact with during our stays at GTL.

The staff was always helpful and friendly, we enjoyed our stay.

The walk to town is invigorating and if we don’t feel up to it, the friendly shuttle drivers are there upon request.

It is such a relaxing safe resort, we just let our kids go and do what they want because the resort is so user friendly for families.

although it was a little technical getting the movie playing, assistance was sent right away, we loved the comfortable chairs and big screen.

The staff is great as they are always ready to assist with anything you need.

Although, things were a little dated, we found the accommodations to be very clean and roomy..  Everyone was always very helpful and understanding.

Otherwise - the grounds, staff, facilities, everything was beautiful and peaceful.

The maintenance staff was amazing and even checked back in with a gift basket and amazing thank you note for having to move.

We have been owners at Grand timber for 20 years.

We have been owners for years and have never regretted our decision to purchase a time share at Grand Timber.

The resort concierges act like they’re bothered to give advice.

Housekeeping attempted to force way into room while we were in it and male in downstairs bathroom cleaning yet not closed off and wouldn’t walk out so we could use it as our room wasn’t available.

At check in was told the bar is closed and there is no restaurant.

We were bummed the pool closed early in the season, at least the spa was open.

This time of year does lend itself to some places being closed,

even though the bar itself was closed (I assumed due to COVID) We enjoyed the resort shuttle and literally never waited more than 2 minutes to get one.

The outdoor grill area was closed for service

I did not use the pool, gym or bike shop, lounge was closed.

The pool was closed, which was disappointing.

We were disappointed that the pools was closed for the month,

We had to drive to Frisco to try out The Lost Cajun - the one in Breckenridge was closed for the week.

but was disappointed that many we wanted to try were closed.

Diesel fumes coming in any open window, construction debris dropping onto the porch of you room,  construction noises all day long, most amenities.. closed, limited room selection.

There is also underground parking which is closed at night requiring room card key for access.

Funny little issues were present so not a perfect rating (knobs fell off the showers, TP dispenser feel off the wall, every drawer in the dressers would roll open or not stay closed).

We quickly learned to keep the blinds closed during the day and opened at night, with the ceiling fans and boxed fans the temperature was a comfortable 68-71.

Turned out that it was owned by the neighboring HOA and they had closed it for the off-season, leaving nothing for the resort guests.

Unless you call ahead to request a room with a view, you may get stuck facing the mountain on the first floor which makes you feel very closed in.

The folks who work there are helpful and friendly.

And getting around town was a breeze, with the friendly shuttle drivers taking us all over town.

Pros: Our place had a hot tub and grills, great shuttle service (dedicated to lifts in early AM and late afternoon which is great for a day on the slopes), ski storage and rental onsite, nicely equipped kitchen, friendly and helpful staff.

The people at the reception area were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our requests.

Our suite was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Everyone working there was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure their guests were taken care of.

Customer service was great - Chris, Derk and Becky were very friendly and always helpful.

The staff was very friendly and professional and seemed to enjoy being there.

And the property is so well maintained and friendly.

The staff and employees were friendly and helpful; the condos were well stocked with amenities; and  the comfort, the quiet and the location were excellent.

Tyler at the front desk was very welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

Tyler , the Manager at the resort , was simply amazing along with his entire staff .. it was a home away from home , super friendly, beautiful location, awesome resort. .

Celia and the staff of Hilton's Valdoro Mountain Lodge made our trip to Breckenridge so enjoyable.

Maintenance staff was super attentive and kept deck clear of snow and checked the hot tub every day.

They were always helping other customers.

The hospitality of the staff was great and we enjoyed taking advantage of their recommendations for the best trails to visit in the area.

All communication was by text and the staff members responded immediately.

All staff , welcoming, helpful and attentive to my needs.

There is no A/C and while there is a breeze, I have to keep the windows shut because of the noise.

The heater in the room was a bit loud when it initially came on.

It was 80+ degrees in the room when we arrived and to be fair it did cool down in the room when we propped open the front door and turned on the fan that was provided to draw in some of the cool air from the parking lot.

4) The heating units looked like they were going to completely fall apart any minute, the tile in the kitchenette area was broken and dated.

but was quite a bit larger and had a fireplace and a/c!

We had to use the air conditioner in the room.

We heard some rooms do no have AC so ask.

The beds are very uncomfortable, there’s no air conditioning or safes in the rooms.

It is so dry that I had issues breathing at night sleeping and not pleasant morning of blowing my nose.

There is no elevator so be prepared to lug your bags up the stairs, and the lack of A/C can make for a restless sleep in the summer due to the noise from having to leave the windows open.

The only issue I had was the ceiling fan / light.

Checked in and found our box fan for white noise, as requested (without having to call to front desk and remind them).

We knew that there wouldn't be AC before coming,

Then during the stay overnight, the electricity went out and when trying to take a shower the water pressure was so low that it barely did anything.

The bathroom was cramped and hard to do anything in, like dry hair, without bumping in to a door or cabinet.

My room didn’t have a bathtub, just a roll in shower.

What frequent traveler isn't impressed by the complete package of amenities these rooms have?

That's it. They should be embarrassed to charge extra for any of those "amenities."

Blamed no coffee cups in room, limited toiletries and linens on Covid.

The bath water handle came off when turning on the water.

We arrived to a tired room with little decoration or amenities.

but the woman working the front desk is slowww as molasses (there was a line of 3 people when I showed up for 4pm check in which should have been a tip off), they are still trying to charge a resort fee even though the amenities were all closed (when I asked what services I was being charged for the woman at reception said..breakfast?).

We had a leak in our bathroom ceiling, which was not repaired.

The bathroom door was a little warped requiring excessive force open & close, which was very disturbing, especially late at night.

Though more shelves in bathroom would be nice.

Also, if you intend to use the hot tub, you'll need to bring your own robe or some other way to stay warm from the room to the hot tub.

Its a lovely atmosphere and everyone is very friendly.

Very comfortable rooms, stunning views, super friendly staff and a surprisingly tasty dinner.

I recommend it to anyone and it’s family, pet and guest friendly!

They were all super friendly at anytime of the day or night.

The hotel and staff are very inflexible and is not like other friendly hotels.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food at the restaurant and fantastic views from atop a mountain.

Agustin was working the desk when we checked out and he was very helpful and super friendly.

The staff is so friendly and helpful, very personable and professional,  we loved to talk with the front desk and get a little local history and information, this is definitely  where we will stay on our next visit to Breckenridge!
