During our stay, we walked to the Historic Bradenton Downtown area where we listened to live music, enjoyed good food, and met friendly people, and we also rode BIRD Scooters on the Bradenton Riverwalk.

Consistently good value: excellent breakfast spread included in room rates - shout out to Chris Duke who wiped down tables with sanitizer as soon as guests departed, kept food coming and even cleared my plate!

The fact that I called ahead to make sure construction was not ongoing is for another review.

There is a bit of construction on the roads going on in the area.

With all the construction going on on University Av.

One caveat- There is a great deal of construction at the I-75 and University Blvd exit and the hotel is "hidden" amongst some big box stores and restaurants.

There is road construction that requires a detour to enter/exit.

Very OVERCROWDED roads and the interchange at University Parkway and I-75 is under construction.

Perhaps when the construction is all done there will be a direct entrance off of the highway.

However, located next to a highway under construction & can be noisy at times.

The construction around it made the stay a little "interesting" to locate,

although major construction in the area made it difficult to find, specially after dark, I was very pleased with the facility, its attention to decorative detail and the efficiency of the people at the desk.

This time we found the Comfort to be under major construction and could not stay at that location.

This was our second visit to this area to visit family and this hotel has a lot going for it -- central location near restaurants, the interstate, shops, friendly staff and atmosphere, exceptionally clean and modern guest rooms and public areas.

The bathroom floor and hotel room floor were filthy.

There was a musty smell emanating from the air-conditioning unit

We stayed in during the past weekend while they had a couple of teams there and those people were really disgusting letting their young kids run up and down the hallways and partying late into the night.

Rooms were extremely humid and felt disgusting.

Smells horrible of mildew and once they have your money you are out of luck.

The room was disgusting, smelling like mildew with black mold in the shower.

The carpet, though, is, quite honestly, filthy, and not just in the guest rooms.

After my experience with the room I had booked the security was alerted to a drug smell coming from another room.

So many things wrong here  The room was dirty, the shower was filthy and had paint and tiles falling off all over.

Also after checking in to our room the bathroom/shower was disgusting.

The room and hotel is showing quite a bit of wear with paint missing from door frames, worn carpet on the stairs and the window frames were very dirty and mouldy.

I need to return in a month and liked the location

Curtains did not open or close
Comforter was all lumps and not attractive

Doors all stuck door jams everywhere slam

However, it smelled like spoiled fish or shrimp had been stored or forgotten and left in the room refrigerator.

There was no bathmat or anything that was anti-slip int he tub flooring, no car to grab either, as I stepped into the bathtub I lost my footing and slipped and fell and had a huge knot and instant bruise on my shin, it was so slippery, most likely from bleach cleaner or whatever cleaner is used, that you can barely stand or walk in the shower, I had difficulty walking the next day and I am still very sore and can not touch the area and it is severely bruised.

I wasn't aware that they were undergoing a remodel and I heard several guests complain about the smell of the carpet glue.

Which really pissed me off since I have asthma and requested no smoking.

Chris, (front desk clerk) was so pleasant & helpful too.

I just want to thank the staff and management for everything that you all did during our stay.

The hotel managers and staff are so great.

The maidens were great and cleaned good and they supplied our request at the front desk.

From the manager Tom, to the Director of Sales Amy, housekeeping supervisor Janet, to computer help from the front desk, Haley, Chris and Jasa.

It’s a lovely place, with recent renovations, great breakfast, peaceful, and helpful staff.

Only thing wrong in the room was the sink had.

1 rm had high tub that family in rm couldnt use shower.

Room was smelly, bathroom was dirty
We did not stay.

You could see daylight through the edges along the outside door, the bathroom door didn’t seal and the chair included was so dirty I never would have sat on it.

Sink has a spray nozzle that sprays water everywhere so be careful when turning on.

but there is no reason for mold on the shower grout and tub.

One consideration to the room would be a shelf in the bathroom to place towels or other bath items and clothes.

Bathroom in room 401 horrible couldnt open the door all the way when going to use the restroom.

My room had some concerns, multiple millipeds all over in the bathroom upon waking, as well as multiple mature winged in the sink.

Arising from little to no sleep at 630am I found mature winged bugs filling up my bathroom sink.

Rooms are outdated and carpets are gross, the bathrooms would make you think you are in a prison.

The staff were cold and didn’t bother to discuss any amenities.

A rusty bathroom with water pressure that has to be pushing the ancient plumbing close to the failure point.

So it started where me and my family was givin the worst room probably in the the whole place that had mold everywhere and the floors where wet then there was a leak.

This stinky room way far from the restaurant, blankets has filthy smell, bathroom doesn’t have fan . Horrible

We were told by the manager that our credit card would NOT be  charged and now there is a $264.28 charge from this Ramada Inn.

When I went back to check in there was an issue with my card.

When we tried to check in their was a glitch in our bank card.

There was no offer of providing paperwork for checkout and billing either.

Its first-generation-magstripe key cards fail you at the slightest exposure to any magnetic devices in your pocket.

There were people living in the room next to ours and drug deals/  prostitution transactions in the parking lot.

We arrived 2/21/21 at 9 pm and both mine and my fiancee's credit cards did not work.

I have explained and Disputed this charge with no Results .

The food is over priced and comes with hidden charges for vegetable which I not expect.

He got angry and told the agent he definitely wouldn't credit us

But he never did and I was charged for the entire amount.

but once my card statement hit, he charged me 20% more.

The women at the front desk, Lynn, Carmen & Miriam, were/are very friendly & courteous.

All of the staff at the hotel and on the front desk (the Manager and Assistant Manager) were all very accommodating and definitely provided high standards of professionalism - Carmen, Lynn, Shaina and Randy in maintenance were all very helpful and friendly.

Candy at checkin was so friendly and helpful.

The staff at this facility were extremely helpful and friendly.

All of the staff was very polite and friendly, and I especially liked "MARY" who was in charge of breakfast!! She was awesome and so friendly (I even showed her my pics of feeding the flamingos at Sarasota Jungle!)

They are both very friendly and informative about the Sarasota/Bradenton/Anna Maria Island area.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

CONS: The room smelled wet every day and needs to be updated.

The hotel had done some painting and carpet cleaning that left an odor in our room.

At reception I asked for some sort of spray so I can spray the room because the urine smell was very bad.

Room had a musty smell and carpets were stained and dirty.

Room was damp, smelly, and noisy and the price was over the top for what they are offering.

In the few hours our family’s stayed there, a drug deal in the parking lot was observed as well as prostitution, roaches in one of the rooms and strange men hanging in front of their rooms smoking and drinking beer.

The floors were filthy, the room was dank and musty, paint was peeling and the mirror frame was tarnished and black.

The room smelled funky and I was disappointed in the overall experience

The room smelled like someone had partied hard in it.

Stay away form this hotel, nasty, nasty room, dirty sheets, dirty carpet, dirty bathroom, corrosion, mold, stained shower curtain and bathtub, bed hard as a rock, I removed the satined sheets and the mattress was really old and nasty, I called front desk to find me a decent room, they said they will call me back in 5 minutes and they never called me.

The place is old, the rooms stink and they have several people who live there like permanently and shady.

but OK. Room smelled musty, not the issue.

The room had a very damp smell, and the bathroom was very grubby and run down.

The floor of our room was so filthy that my daughters feet were black from walking from the bathtub to the bed closest to the bathroom (15 feet at most ).

Air conditioner is super loud also even with my sound machine on   Room gets super cold then clammy when it shuts off 
Room had funky smell to it.

We were on the second floor, no elevators and dingy, disgusting stairwells.

The smell of weed from other visitors was horrible.

Lots of people smoking POT everywhere and at all times - we could smell it in the middle of the night coming from someone else's room.

It was a horrible night with a combination smell of urine and Lysol.

I walked up to the stairs to get to the room on the 2nd level and had to go past the ice and vending machine where the smell of pot is thicker than the walls of the building.

The pictures are very misleading and Ramada should be ashamed to hang their name on such a filthy sub par location, all 18 families had to scramble to find accommodations for the next 6 days.

Room 511 was in disgraceful disrepair and filthy beyond belief.

Agent at the desk, Candy, was wonderful and provided great customer service and suggestions on good places in the area.

The super kind lady at the front desk, Candy, was extremely quick to put together my clc reservation for my stay and was a pleasure to converse with.

Candy was very helpful getting us checked in.

The best and most accommodating staff ever!

Otherwise staff good, room ok, area nice,

Want to give special attention to Cardy, she was amazing, really sweet lady, very helpful and polite.

The lady Lynn at the check in desk in the Reservation desk was so professionally and kind with any question which I had during my 3 days stay.

Candi and William went out of their way to make my stay really special by helping me out with different things.

Sara and Candy helped me on different occasions and were very courteous and professional.

Candy and Lynn at the front desk did a great job of making us feel welcomed.

This is our experience concerning this hotel in particular:  

When we arrived Mr. Keyci was very attentive to our needs.

I just want to say I had an amazing experience with the front desk worker candy..

but I did leave her some things with her name on at front desk!
