The hotel is in a beautiful historic building, our corner room on the fifth floor was large & spotless, and it was just a short walk to the river & marina, and a number of fun bars & restaurants.

This is a perfect hotel if you want to be on the Manatee River and in the heart of historic Bradenton.

Loved this particular location because it was an old historic hotel that they renovated.

We did hear a train off in the distance occasionally each day during our stay, which added to the historical feel of our visit.

I got ready for my day and came down for the complimentary breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was delicious.

While I did not partake in the free breakfast, it certainly smelled good and the breakfast room was filled with some happy looking people.

On the two different days that we ate at the free and delicious breakfast buffet the men who ran it were so nice and sociable.

Rooms are spacious and breakfast is complimentary.

My partner & I always stay at this historic, conveniently located Hampton Inn in downtown Bradenton when we visit friends & family in this area because of its aesthetic charm & beauty, its great amenities (fitness center, pool, free breakfast, free parking, free Wifi), its comfortable, clean, updated, modern guest rooms—some with Juliet balconies furnished with sturdy chairs to sit & enjoy fresh air & sunshine or moonlight).

The complimentary breakfast was a good variety and was well stocked.

The staff were all extremely friendly, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, the pool was clean and secluded, the room was tasteful and clean.

The fact that I called ahead to make sure construction was not ongoing is for another review.

There is a bit of construction on the roads going on in the area.

With all the construction going on on University Av.

One caveat- There is a great deal of construction at the I-75 and University Blvd exit and the hotel is "hidden" amongst some big box stores and restaurants.

There is road construction that requires a detour to enter/exit.

Very OVERCROWDED roads and the interchange at University Parkway and I-75 is under construction.

Perhaps when the construction is all done there will be a direct entrance off of the highway.

However, located next to a highway under construction & can be noisy at times.

The construction around it made the stay a little "interesting" to locate,

although major construction in the area made it difficult to find, specially after dark, I was very pleased with the facility, its attention to decorative detail and the efficiency of the people at the desk.

This time we found the Comfort to be under major construction and could not stay at that location.

Gave us a list of restaurants within walking distance and those that deliver.

Once you add in the nice pool and hot tub, which were never crowded, and all the restaurants within walking distance (or a short drive), it’s a great choice in the area.

This was our second visit to this area to visit family and this hotel has a lot going for it -- central location near restaurants, the interstate, shops, friendly staff and atmosphere, exceptionally clean and modern guest rooms and public areas.

It is located right off I75, in a modern shopping area (within walking distance to many restaurants), feels like a new hotel, room was comfortable, and all staff made you feel welcome.

We'll be back in the area and most certainly back to Radisson.

This hotel is well-maintained, and I strongly encourage you to choose this hotel over all the others in the area if you wanted to be treated LIKE FAMILY!

Amy was terrific and was able to give us information on where to go and what to do in the area!

Coffee pot available as well as breakfast next to lobby area.

They have an outdoor fire pit to sit around and even a BBQ area on the one side of the hotel.

I will consider this hotel each time I am in the area.

Their staff also provided dinner recommendation since we were unfamiliar with the area.

Excellent restaurants in the area and close proximity to the movie theaters.

Rooms were just as good and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking in the Bradenton area.

We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and room was clean and we had clean towels.

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

My stay was good - great price - had breakfasts - clean rooms and good staff - I recommend this hotel.

The room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, the shower just the right temperature and pressure, the grab-and-go breakfast with surprising extras such as waffles and sausage patties, was topped off by fresh and delicious coffee.

We stayed in during the past weekend while they had a couple of teams there and those people were really disgusting letting their young kids run up and down the hallways and partying late into the night.

Rooms were extremely humid and felt disgusting.

Smells horrible of mildew and once they have your money you are out of luck.

The room was disgusting, smelling like mildew with black mold in the shower.

The carpet, though, is, quite honestly, filthy, and not just in the guest rooms.

After my experience with the room I had booked the security was alerted to a drug smell coming from another room.

So many things wrong here  The room was dirty, the shower was filthy and had paint and tiles falling off all over.

Also after checking in to our room the bathroom/shower was disgusting.

The room and hotel is showing quite a bit of wear with paint missing from door frames, worn carpet on the stairs and the window frames were very dirty and mouldy.

I need to return in a month and liked the location
Bananas were old and covered in black spots
Fruit in bowl was slimy
Curtains did not open or close
Comforter was all lumps and not attractive
Room smelled awful
Doors all stuck door jams everywhere slam

However, it smelled like spoiled fish or shrimp had been stored or forgotten and left in the room refrigerator.

There was no bathmat or anything that was anti-slip int he tub flooring, no car to grab either, as I stepped into the bathtub I lost my footing and slipped and fell and had a huge knot and instant bruise on my shin, it was so slippery, most likely from bleach cleaner or whatever cleaner is used, that you can barely stand or walk in the shower, I had difficulty walking the next day and I am still very sore and can not touch the area and it is severely bruised.

I wasn't aware that they were undergoing a remodel and I heard several guests complain about the smell of the carpet glue.

Which really pissed me off since I have asthma and requested no smoking.

Worst, in the middle of the night, I had to kill a roach in the bathroom.

however the wall between the shower and the room had a huge hole covered just by what it seems carton board and paint.

but body wash and shampoo is not provided.

The room initially appeared to be “ok” until we found ants and flying insects in the bathroom, one flying insect on the bed, and dingy bed sheets.

I told office girl water in sink is very slow she said there all like that till I took the aerator apart and showed them then then handy man fixed it.

The window in the bathroom was broke and the ceiling coming in.

in the am sounded like an animal running thru the ceiling over the bath area.

There was no water pressure to properly wash your hands in the sink.

but it didn't makeup for the old furniture and bathroom.

My room also had damaged suspended ceiling tile in the bathroom.
