One note: they are a bit of a drive from the center of the town, so if you don't have a car you will have to rely on taxi or other public transportation.

If you have a electric car, a 2x22kw with 3T connector charge point is avaible into the parking.

You need a car to get to BASTIA OR BEACH.

The hotel is situated in a business area, so you need a car to explore the surroundings.

You will need a car when you want to go to the center of Bastia.

The only downside is that if you don't have car, it's a bit difficult to get to the airport.

Therefore, unless you have a car, you are limited to the hotel restaurant where the food is acceptable if expensive.

Bed for the kid was placed in the room without it had been ordered, not a problem if the charge hadn’t been 10€.

however I thought that banning you from using the room towels and then charging you for a towel in the 'spa' was a bit cheeky even if it was only one euro.

Unfortunately, they do not accept all credit cards.

This is supposed to be a four-star hotel and so we were extremely disappointed to find when entering the room that the carpet was absolutely covered in stains of multiple origins which the hotel felt was not needed to rectify either by cleaning, replacing or providing a rug  of some form.

Only downside was the dirty carpet in the room.

Minor gripe - unpleasant stains on the bedroom carpet

Dark stains on the carpet near the bed, stains on the bed cover and a poor bathroom layout with no shower doors (meaning after a shower the bathroom looks like a flooded Piazza San Marco)!

My only I hope helpful observation is that certainly in our room some of the elements needed refreshing or replacing: the very visibly stained carpet in our bedroom, the water damage to the plasterwork in places etc.

Having just arrived at another hotel which charges even more for breakfast I think it is quite common here

Breakfast  is a little expensive at 21 euros per person and would be better included in the room rate for an extra 15 euros for example.

Even if you pay for the breakfast, please note that you will be charged for anything extra (such as a cappuccino).

If I had to make any "complain" would be the fact that they accept kids which we think is not aligned with the hotel style, also breakfast was expensive (21€) for what it was

yes, the extra charge for the eggs is silly considering the price of breakfast (not included) and it is a small place, so best for a base from which to spend the day doing activities rather than hanging out here like you might a resort.

So we drove into Saint Florent every morning for a breakfast that cost about 1/4 of what they charged.

There were no tea or coffee-making facilities, at least not in our room.

but then you must be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes; similarly when the filter coffee runs out, well then wait again you must.

All in need in the morning is a bowl of cereal some coffee and maybe a croissant as I’m away,

20 euros per person per day), there was no breakfast tea after the second day of my holiday and no signs of any coming soon.

Breakfast was looking good, until they ran out of milk and we couldnt have coffee.

Quite surprisingly there was no kettle nor hot drink making facilities in the room - other places that we stayed in Corsica did have, we even had our own coffee machine at Bergeries du Prunelli (somewhere that we would highly recommend staying).

Downside - no coffee or tea making facilities in the room and zero laundry services, which is surprising for an inn with 4 star rating.

The only negative are the right handed tea pots, i'm not going to elaborate, you'll have to stay here to find out!!

Being British no hot drink facilities in room was a disappointment and @ €4 it was expensive to order a pre breakfast drink when breakfast charged @ €21 per person.

NEGATIVES:

Breakfast (if not included in your room rate, which it wasn't with ours) is charged at 21 Euros per person which in comparison to the rest of the island is extortionate!

But, no they quitebhappily charged us €2400 for 1 week in April ! !

a) It is very expensive for what it offers (even by Corsican standard), i.e.

Quiet and relaxing hotel with lovely and discreet staff (maybe slightly understaffed, I am not a fan of having to use a phone at the bar or desk to call for someone)
We had booked a suite where I would have expected a little more from, seeing the price.

Like others have commented our only gripe is with the breakfast charge and as such we ate out each morning.

The lunch and dinner menu was extremely limited and very expensive for what was offered.

We really do think that La Dimora ought to take a look at their pricing structure regarding this.

but it is not included in the price of the room.

One guest thought it a little pricey at 19 euros.

but given the price thought the add on cost for individual eggs was a bit over the top.

but not spectacular) and I do expect more at that price than what we got.

If we know the price we had to pay already for a superior room (and knowing that breakfast is not included - costs 18€ pp), we find it personally a bit expensive, certainly when not finding back the right atmosphere, the place is just missing something .. it's 'cold', staff is ok,

An absolute GEM of a hotel, a lovely room everything spotlessly clean, very nice swimming pool area, excellent food and lovely staff, who can’t do enough for you.

The attention to detail by all the staff is excellent and they were always prepared to go that little bit extra.

The team here are excellent and attentive with an easygoing hassle-free efficiency that gets you settled right in and relaxed.

With just one waiter helping everyone out, it's no surprise he struggles,

Spent 3 nights at this beautiful, welcoming, small boutique hotel.

The wines grown by the owners vineyard were also delicious.
