The little town of Oletta is accessible by a short walk up a picturesque set of stairs behind the pool and there you will find a lovely church, 2 good restaurants, and an ice cream bar.

It was an absolute bonus to have all of our restaurants booked for us as each place was unique from the other and fantastic food.

The staff were delightful and helpful, gave lovely tips on areas to explore  in Cap Corse, restaurants to vist, and  were very responsive before and during the stay.

Whether it was dining at the hotel (all the food and wines are local and delicious), booking a lovely restaurant, or taking a trip by boat to a stunning local beach, we were totally looked after.

The restaurant on site was incredible, and the hosts were the kindest and most welcoming on the island.

The restaurant has so delicious food and great wine recommendations from this area which you can enjoy with a magical view.

We particularly loved our lunch at I Fratelli.

Ask about hikes and beaches and food -- you will get great advice.

Our room was very comfortable, the hotel is absolutely beautiful and our dinners were delicious.

We loved the help of Marie and Sebastian and the wonderful dinners and breakfasts enjoyed on the outdoor deck each morning and evening (we ate at hotel all 5 nights).

The pool and grounds are beautiful and the rooms are even better than the pictures.

We opted for a deluxe room and it was so worth it--it was super quiet and had a spectacular view of the village lights all lit up at night.

We arrived in the low season and our room was upgraded to a lovely suite.

The staff were incredibly helpful - some of the best we have come across on our travels.

The staff were always very attentive and helpful and a special thanks to Georges and Celia who had great recommendations for the area and made sure we had an amazing experience.

Second, the dinner setting on the terrace looking out over the same view at dusk, while enjoying delightful meals prepared to individual preferences, cannot be surpassed.

The hospitality of Marie, Fred and the rest of the team was first class and the food on both of the evenings that we ate was some of the best we had on our whole trip around Corsica and the rest of France. Add to this the view from the outside restaurant terrace, which was sublime looking down to Saint-Florent and the sea beyond (what a sunset!)

The panorama of the Corsican landscape from the dining terrace and  its location in the old village of Oletta give the hotel a special feel.

Breakfast was included and terrific, served on the terrace with a view.

This magical small hotel worked for us on every possible level: crisp, modern rooms with wonderful views and amenities, a stunning small garden and pool the feel more like a private villa than a hotel, and a dining terrace ideally situated for glorious sunsets over the Mediterranean.

A lovely old building sympathetically converted, very friendly and helpful staff, very chilled atmosphere, fabulous pool and terrace with wonderful views down to the sea.

There's a lap pool, which we enjoyed on both days of our visit, and gorgeous views over the valley from the breakfast terrace at the end of the garden.

Georges asked the chef to prepare a plate of charcuterie and salad for us to enjoy on the outdoor terrace – a welcome gesture after our journey.

We recently spent three nights at U Palazzu Serenu which is a pleasant and relaxing boutique art hotel just on the edge of Oletta with nice elevated views from the terrace down to the bay at St Florent.

Dinner on the terrace was superb and setting couldn't be better.

We had the most beautiful sunset in Corsica while dining on the terrace .

It's like being in an oasis, indulged with wonderful settings, comfortable, modern rooms, delicious breakfast and a sunbathing terrace with a splendid view over the Gulf of St. Florent.

We loved the dinners on the terrace overlooking St. Florent and the gulf, and treated ourselves to massages from the house masseuse (if you are squeamish about going bare, you might want to consider that there is no draping as is customary in the US).

If you reach the terrace of the Palazzu you will find an impeccable view over St. Florent and to the sea.

A stunning location with a great view, it sits in a little town just above the coast couldn't have been more perfect for us, highly recommended.

The hotel itself is beautiful--set on the side of a mountain with the most glorious pink sunset and a view of the Mediterranean in the distance.

Hotel Port Toga is very well located at the Port and Bastia's shopping/restaurant district -- it is quite new, so the facility is in great, modern condition, and the restaurant "Le Quotidien" is directly accessible from the hotel lobby.

We booked this hotel for one night on our return journey from Corsica, what a great find, we arrived Saturday at two (2) and where allowed to book into two really nice clean rooms, very modern, great shower, really good bed.

Staff and room where flawless, thee hour delay of the ferry and late checkin after midnight were perfectly accomodated and extremely quick.

Our Superior Room was of standard size with minimal storage space so clearly aimed at transient guests.

A good choice: a short walk to restaurants, a really nice breakfast, a nice room with aircon, seperate shower room, and WC, and a minibar fridge.

The next morning we explored the hotel and found a rooftop swimming pool with a bright breakfast room next to it.

150 for a 2 persoon room (1 night) with 12 euro pp breakfast.

The room and bathroom were huge & spacious (they gave us triple room).

We were given a double room, room 204 which had a beautiful balcony and view overlooking the port.

It was quiet and the rooms were very comfortable.

We took a family room in the hotel and it significantly exceeded our expectations.

It is well situated to either drive on the main routes or to walk into the centre.

There is a supermarket close by, along with boulangerie and several cafes and restaurants. Ten minutes walk brings you to the city centre and the old town, with its network of narrow ( and steep!)

Marina with bars and restaurants across the road, old port a 15 - 20 minute walk away with the train station roughly 15 minutes.

The hotel is across the street from the ferry terminal and a short walk to rental car pickup in town and to restaurants in the old town.

It is an easy walk from the ferry terminal.

but only a 10 minute walk, 5 minutes to the main square and train station.

It was easy walk to a marina and the town centre, as well as bus/train stations.

Having just arrived at another hotel which charges even more for breakfast I think it is quite common here

Breakfast  is a little expensive at 21 euros per person and would be better included in the room rate for an extra 15 euros for example.

Even if you pay for the breakfast, please note that you will be charged for anything extra (such as a cappuccino).

but they were all very tasty
All of this still close to Saint Florent and the beautiful village of oletta 
If I had to make any "complain" would be the fact that they accept kids which we think is not aligned with the hotel style, also breakfast was expensive (21€) for what it was

yes, the extra charge for the eggs is silly considering the price of breakfast (not included) and it is a small place, so best for a base from which to spend the day doing activities rather than hanging out here like you might a resort.

So we drove into Saint Florent every morning for a breakfast that cost about 1/4 of what they charged.

There were no tea or coffee-making facilities, at least not in our room.

but then you must be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes; similarly when the filter coffee runs out, well then wait again you must.

All in need in the morning is a bowl of cereal some coffee and maybe a croissant as I’m away,
