The shuttle doesn’t pick you up with all the other airport shuttles it is on an entirely different floor.

This hotel was exactly what we needed for a quick overnight by the airport.

Transportation included from at to airport is a great added value.

Service was excellent; individual shuttle from-to the airport; all personnel was very professional and respectful; I give definitely 5 stars based on customer service.

The only small handle was them running your card through an imprinter on checkin which was weird.

After eating a simple 2 egg breakfast we were charged an enormous amount of money for breakfast by Colombian standards.

Jenny explained to me the extra charges that apply if you use a credit card for the cab.

Hotel will make a copy of your passport and the page with the visa stamp.

I would arrange the airport shuttle ahead of time as I took a taxi and I;m sure I was overcharged.

I asked for a late check out on sunday, and the manager accepted without any extra charge or so.

The hotel would have nothing to do with rectify the fact that the over charged me.

It took me a moment to understand the the elevators require a room key card to operate.

And charge more even know we have only one bed.

I emailed the hotel (no cell phone service) from the airport and asked about my charge, they confirmed they had my charger and could send it to the airport with the hotel pick-up  van.

We requested for a credit to our IHG points profile instead as we did not plan on going to Central America for the next little while.

I return back to my room at 8 45 and to my surprise, the card was gone, the bed sheets were removed from my bed.

And when I fell ill on my last day at the hotel, they brought a medic to see me, and even sent someone out to a pharmacy to pick up some medicine for me --- AT NO CHARGE (other than cost of medicine)!!

So on Sunday, I headed out to the gym leaving the card.

have been given the free of charge room promised 2 years ago - there where some issues with airport pick up which was resolved by the MD.

Even after I spoke with the restaurant manager and customer service, they did not give me the actual credit for my voucher and did not follow the guidelines.

though they added a $6 charge for insurance or some non sense like that.

The courtesy bus service was great and saved my wife $30 on a taxi (she was being overcharged at the airport - don't pay it, go wait for the hotel bus).

We tried to call the hotel twice and also email them twice to no avail.

I  was collected from airport , after customs go upstairs and ask any of staff wearing ahotel uniform they will call your hotel and tell you where to wait

I landed just after midnight.

but Juanita and Jennyfer really went the extra distance for me and even if they were busy checking in someone else when i walked past they always took time out to call me by my name and any problems i had they bent over backwards to keep me happy.

(Something as simple as deliver a roll of toilet paper was not done), also when we call guest service this took more than 30 minutes to be completed.

even though it sometimes takes a long time to be picked up at the airport even after calling the hotel directly.

At first the clerk not wanted call the management because was not available.

I was very grateful for this service because not being familiar with the city and not having an activated cell phone to call for a cab made me feel a bit stranded.

but didn't find any menu in the room, and when I called for it they told they didn't have any but they could recite it over the phone.

For a business hotel the work table does not have a phone, which was rather odd.

3 weeks later I am still waiting for the call or email!

The internet is very bad too, very very slow speed cant even make a phone call using the internet and the signal is not very strong.

even after several calls and confirmation from reception desk nobody showed up.

Hotel employees all over the place were very nice and helpful, from the registration desk to the restaurant and the hotel car driver.

Room service was excellent and their hotel restaurant was great!

Finally hours later I developed all the symptoms of food poisoning.

If you are tourists and you wish to be near cafe and restaurants then maybe this place is less comfortable for you

I ate in the restaurant several times over two nights that I stayed and would give them a B+ .

Food was really good And the location is great to go to shopping centers And even walking.

Near also restaurants where you can go walking since neighborhood is calm and secure.

The precautions and cleanliness of the room and common areas were top notch.

Such a fun friendly atmosphere with Staff that Goes above and beyond in order to ensure that you have a fun, comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We found all the staff we encountered very friendly and helpful, there was always some on the front desk that spoke English to help us with any needs.

The staff are friendly and extremely helpful with sorting things for your travels and once again, Luigi’s salsa class was so helpful and he even got me, a guy with 2 left feet, dancing away within the hour! 10/10.

Location is perfect- right in Candelaria.

Best location in Candelaria, there's a BBC pub one block away and its a 10 minute walk to the gold museum (recommended).

Located in La Candelaria, historic neighborhood in Bogota, the Cranky Croc Hostel is offering you a lot.

it is well located in the cadelaria district and as everybody else i noticed right away how spotlessly clean it was as i first arrived , even the kitchen area .

The location is great, the hostal is super clean, and the staff are really welcoming.

It's a great location, really nice communal area, beautifully decorated, spotless, very comfy beds, really really helpful staff and awesome breakfasts!

But during the night it became really noisy in the common area.

My room still managed to receive a little noise at night

Only downside foe me was that my dorm (# 111c) was next to the toilets and washroom and I woke up a couple of times from the noise ppl were making coming back from a night out.

Downsides - the room had no curtains only stained glass windows, noise can travel in the hostel so if you're a very light sleeper you may need to tell them which rooms you want to be in.

I had a private room on the ground floor in the courtyard, which I thought was quite noisy because you can hear music and people in the common room, especially when the party bus returns late at night.

The room we were in was quite noisey, the to room is next door and loud chatting and laughter comes down the hall all night from 11 until 6 am.

The Cranky Croc hostel is quite a social hostel, so if you are looking for a quiet place this might not be for you.
