I had to beg, several times, for a bucket to catch my shower water in.

Looking at your bathrooms thats where you must improve especially the toilet there is some rusty which must be inspected.

Only after suggesting that I would be glad to have a bath in the pool, was a vacant room found where I could shower without standing in dirty water.

The water from the bath/shower was terrible, My face is even reacting from it.

But come bath time brown dirty water coming out.. breakfast menus for two days not changed.

The shower gel and bath foam is so refreshing, and the breakfast was on point, the only low was that I'm a non smoker and I checked into a smoking room, the fact that the room has the view and access to the pool it's a cheery on top of the cake

Rooms not cleaned properly, i stayed for a week and my carpet and bathroom basin were dirty even after they supposedly cleaned.

Was a bit disappointed after 7hr drive hoping to soak myself in the bath instead I got shower only.

but rooms need a re-vamp
carpet old and bathroom old
taps and toilet didn't work properly
lights didn't work properly
wifi was slow
aircon made a racket
staff were very helpful

No hot water when booked in at 14.30, had to get up at 05.00 for a hot shower etc.etc.

The bath mat in the tub gave me a foot infection, the bath tub was not cleaned properly, i had no facial tissues in the bathroom.

We were a bit disappointed that the bathroom door could not lock & close properly & toilet did not flush properly and felt this should have been identified & resolved prior to guest check in.

The rooms and bathroom need a bit of a face-lift.

but the hotels is showing its age in a number of ways such as carpets that are dirty and threadbare in places, the bath was stained and the bathrooms are dated and showing signs of too many years of use and water damage to the woodwork beneath the marble tops.

Bathroom with shower has dirty water standing in both shower and sink for prolonged time - even after a shower.

The room was not nice bathroom looked very old time for some renovations and the wifi is not easy to use and the speed is very poor and when i got to to the hotel no one told me about the wifi i had to figure that out myself

The hotel was very clean and food and drinks were fine with no complaints and breakfast was very good.

Suffice to stay, we skipped breakfast and checked out early.

The breakfast is above expectations, the pool is amazing and the garden made that place look like international places.

From the moment of entry to the day we checked out, from breakfast to dinner, security, reception, all was superb.

The staff were superb - check-in and breakfast.

Full continental breakfast with good service.

Friendly check in staff and the breakfast people were very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast buffet offered a decent variety of dishes and pastries.

The christmas spread was most delicious too.

My kids love your hotel and swimming pool and pancakes.

Your Buffet dinner only had beef and pork, no chicken or fish, I drove to the windmill casino, dined at Rosies for R195 per person with a full buffet with a variety including lamb chops, chicken and fish and the price also included 2 free soft drinks per person, no wonder that your restaurant is so empty.

Feels if you can stay there for a few days

The food was awesome from breakfast to dinner that includes the lady doing the room services , well she does her job exceptionally well.

As we arrived tired trying to check in the receptionist told us about the new rules so therefore our booking had to be changed because my mother in law has booked for us with her membership card

The general condition of the rooms and hotel is quite poor and if you guys want to charge what you do, then it's probably best that something be done about this.

She was so helpful and we actually laughed about it because I had been to the front desk a number of times during this stay including after I had left my key card in the room.

getting there at 6.00am it already had 5 other people on the machines and weights
Also the bikes were both faulty or not charged so one couldn't see any data if using.

when I  arrived at the hotel my room card was pre-printed and ready

Include a gym for customers to train in the morning and evening for  fitness ,supply towels in the gym and maybe if possible you can add beauty spa .I` m also suggesting day care for kids if possible and a fee must be charged per day or hour

Only one small 300 Ml water bottle was provided, if you are charging 110 USD per night enough water should be provided to the guest.5.

I was not having my reward card and the receptionist had patience to look for me and she even advise me to store the number in my phone.

I raised a query on being charged exyra for dinner served in room service as payment had been inclusive of dinner and breakfast.

Please the gym have their room where guest if wants to training must use his/her access room card.

I had a lot of sun rands expiring before I could use them because I thought it was a lengthy process to use them and I never thought you can just use them to pay at the hotel as if you were swiping your card.

However, there was only one electricity plug beside the TV and nothing beside the bed so charging phone was challenging.

not that bad, checked in very late, maybe that's the reason there was not much of joy at reception, also the machine for issuing cards stopped working and I had to go back to reception to swap the wrong card that was not working tha they ave me, very tedious and tiring.

The after 1hour's wait the manager came to tell us that they made some changes to our booking and bumped us to the Presidential Suite with no charge to our account.

The Hotel has a floor rug which is not properly cleaned whilst other hotels have moved to wooden flooring which is healthy and suitable for most people.

Very user friendly facilities, central location, easy to find and availability of most needful amenities.The vicinity of the shopping mall and other critical surroundings, like doctors, churches and entertainment.

The hygienic environment of the facilities was impressive and inviting for a come again for either business or family visit.

Old world charm with a nice large room, very clean and comfortable, opening out onto a terrace and the swimming pool.

Generally, the hotel has a welcoming environment and the staff know what is expected of them.

Due to the hotel layout - around a large landscaped courtyard - some rooms on the upper level requires a lot of walking to get to reception and the pool.Although the hotel has basic and dated finishes, the rooms are well laid out and comfortable.

We will blame the festive season just to console ourselves.

It is pleasing when you are greeted with a smile whenever and wherever you approach any reception desk.

It is a well positioned hotel, with the perfect pool surrounded by a bird-filled lush green garden.

Great breakfast - we sat by the sun-filled windows enjoying the view of the lovely courtyard garden.

The gardens are well kept and maintained (and so is everything else).

Loved the ground floor room, opening onto the garden in front of the swimming pool.

bathrooms were substandard ..the standard at the garden courts I visited surpassed this hotel by far.

Great ground floor room opened on to beautiful garden setting with pool-a real oasis in the city centre.

Comfortable family room and fair breakfast (other Tsogo Holiday Inn Garden Courts have provided a bigger variety eg Marine Parade Dbn & Sandton Garden Court).

The garden and pool area is perfect and the kids had the best time!Breakfast was lovely with a variety of offerings suited to every palate.

Limited water cups, everyone is sharing one cup including staff.

Bigger TV and small Fridge needs to be added to the rooms

No fridge in the room to store medication was a bit problematic,

everything was ok except the issue of bar fridge ,i also suggest the hotel considers replacement of TV, ti think it will be better if the hotel gets at least 39 cm flat tv other than 32 cm that is in use

people who stay long should be priorities with fridges, because people were given fridges staying one day.

I got so upset in the dinning room where i asked to take the food  to my room, and the supervisor in the kitchen told me that is not allowed which i understood,

The hotel need to improve on the time to arrange breakfast pack, the time should at least be 24 hoursThe need to be small fridge in the rooms in order for clients to store things that need to be chilled

There was no bar fridge in the room which is a significant challenge for travellers passing through.

A few issues, the room we were in did not have a fridge, which was disappointing.

The Hotel needs to put fridges in all the rooms since its summer people need to utilize those facilities.

Inefficient and noisy
Breakfast was very poor quality. .

Was disappointed with the Internet facilities they were very poor indeed every time I had to re-log in and this process is not user friendly at all.

Food quality of poor standard no value for money

Guests pay allot to stay at your hotel and just to get poor service and bad food and dirty bathrooms is unacceptable.

Bad service from dining staff and poor food.Hate when chef has attitude when you request something and turns his back to you.Hotel need to employ Muslim staff as well.Need to cater for all religions not just management and managers only.

the pool area is perfect, rooms are not userfriendly (limited power plugs), housekeeping services very poor (for 3 days I couldn't get the iron delivered to my room).

WiFi was poor, and the data allowance insufficient for business Travellers.

At this point I was about skeptical cause I thought the service would be poor.

Considering the price being levied the aircon in my room was antiquated and of poor operational ability so I had a very restless night.

but little things let the hotel down such as

A) room service poor;
B) restaurant menu limited and the food not up to scratch; and
C) had to wait to be served at the bar or pool a long time.

Also the front desk couldn’t find record of a fully paid booking and insisted on putting a cc hold on my account, ridiculous.Will not stay there again, poor value for money.

Customer Service is poor and staff is not very courteous.

Why should I have to pay for an additional poor non functional service.

Location and reports gave us an option over citi lodge, which sometimes has a poor crowd of passers by.

Although we were many, the client service experienced remained top and excellent treatment from staff and the cleanliness of the rooms were so 100%.

Wifi speed and connectivity was tops.The room was neat and clean.

Typical 80s type hotel and rooms can be a longish walk.

Rooms are very clean with aircon, big swimming pool to cool off in the heat.

We were able to watch a late night movie and then walk back to our room.

I would recommended requesting a room that has direct access to the pool and garden via patio doors.

My room  was very clean and had everything that I needed to survive

the rooms were spacious and comfortable with  TV

The room was cleaned everyday, bed was comfortable the staff  was welcoming.

Could give more coffee and tea to drink in room by default without having to ask for more and wait more than an hour.On bussinees trips we udually work in room and drink more coffee and tea.

Lots of things in the room did not function, quality is dropping fast.

Oh well… just another example of what service levels are stooping to in South Africa. Horrified!

Having driven from WC , all one needs is good service and a good bath and bed.

Service received from all staff was on point from the time we walked in til we left.

I have stayed here some 10 years ago and had good experience.

the reception area has enough chairs to wait if there is a cue and the drop off is stunning, its just next to the door.

I can say without question this my favourite one.

Rooms were very neat and room service was quick and delicious.

The room was clean, the bathroom was also clean, when I'm in Bloem Antaboga is always my home.

The room is spacious, comfortable and clean with 5 star amenities and touches.

everything was stunning, the people, the hotel, the room was as per the picture and spotlessly clean.

I have stayed in 3 star hotels that we more clean and had better rooms.

extremely clean well appointed and the bed was just right.

The Rooms are very clean and Comfortable.

Friendly staff, clean room, just everything was excellent.

Doors not closing properly, not clean and had no hot water in the morning.

There was a pile of cigarette ash behind the bathroom door and the bathroom sink was clogged, the guest soaps were clearly used and not replaced.

We checked into a five star hotel and had to order from Mr D. Food plates from previous guests were still at the door on check in.

but WHY the STUPID STUPID design of no door between the bedroom and bathroom?

The high off the ground bath with hard sliding door and shower above the bath  felt dangerous.

Soon thereafter, arriving guests were shouting and giggling in the passage and two rooms next door to us without regard for anybody else in the hotel.

The bathroom is cramped and poorly designed - silicone around the bath is mouldy and the shower/bath sliding door rail was filthy.

Its the details though, the cracks between the bath and the wall, the shower head giving poor pressure, the shower door looking a bit cheap.

Shower was blocked, shower door was faulty, chairs outside dirty.

We went out for the day, on our return we found two of the rooms were unlocked and one was left with the door open.

but when we arrived the staff was super friendly and made our evening feel very relaxed after such a hectic day.

The check in staff were friendly, helpful and polite.

Totally clean and quietly peaceful, We enjoyed breakfast and the staff is very friendly.

The service from the receptionist on duty was friendly and efficient.

Very Accommodating - Moses at the front desk was VERY friendly and exceptionally accommodating and willing to go more than the extra miles to assist.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
