We had a better-than-average breakfast with hot items.

The concierge pointed us to the many amenities: a business room (which I used for internet and printing), a pool and jacuzzi (which my brother and I relaxed in post race), free cookies (which were delicious) and the breakfast room — which unfortunately we weren’t able to partake in given our schedule.

There is a relaxing front lobby with fireplace plus coffee and cookies in the afternoon.

Cookies in the lobby and the daily local newspaper is a nice touch for us older folks - and the Manager Scott, the front desk personnel, and the housekeeping staff are most accommodating.

but the free breakfast is very good and the fresh cookies at check in are a nice touch.

Everything from their AMAZING breakfast, to cookies and fruit waiting in the lobby for you in the afternoon.

but it had extras such as a beautiful, under-utilized pool and free breakfasts that changed daily and free cookies in the lobby.

Cookies in the afternoon and all day coffee gave a little lift to the day.

We heard the ice machine and elevator doors throughout the day and night.

Must use stairs because cannot access elevator because of locked first floor door.

The web-based checkin didn't work, there was no acrylic shield at check-in, no employees were wearing masks, and there were no signs at elevators or breakfast asking for the simple courtesies that could reduce the spreading the virus.

There was a planned power and water outage for later that night and a short glitch with the elevator in the morning,

There is an elevator if you are on an upper floor.

Has an elevator from the lobby otherwise stairs to second and third floors.

When we checked in the elevator was not working.

However, the elevator was broken during our entire stay and we were on the third floor.

I noticed a comment earlier about the elevator.

My 80 year old grandma and two kids had to climb stairs because the elevator was out.

Lightening had struck and caused the elevator to stop working, which shouldn't effect your stay, hopefully.

The front desk staff either doesn't know the lay out of their hotel very well or just plain lazy to tell you where exactly is the room located after you tell then you do not want a room near any exit, stairs, elevators.

The carpet is plush and the elevator has a marbled floor.

Not sure if an elevator at rear of facility.

We asked for and received a very quiet room on the third floor, far from the elevator and ice machine.

After a fast and friendly check-in, we went to a well lit room with two comfortable chairs, plenty of storage space, a microwave, and a mini-fridge with an iced-over freezer.

We were greeted warmly and the front desk woman was so friendly and smiling and helpful.

The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure that  your stay as happy as possible.

Tammy at the front desk was very friendly, referred dinner places for us.

The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast bar options were a pleasant surprise.

The kids love the pool and hot tub and the pool table.We would stay busy during the day doing things outside and around town and crash back here with take out food and go to the pool etc.

The hot tub and pool were open AND they offered a free hot breakfast.

Skyler and his Mom who both manage took great care of my wife and I. the Computer room is excellent, the pool and hot tub warm and excellent.

The pool and hot tub also are kept very clean and well maintained.

Our family really enjoyed the gray nights sleep, the superb breakfast, and the pool and hot tub.

Great views from the hotel, standard BW breakfast, large eating room, functional pool and hot tub.

There was a small, well lit sink area outside of the small toilet/shower room.

We are East Coast early risers and one morning the staff let us in the breakfast room early to enjoy coffee and watch the sunrise on the outside porch.

I also really appreciated the Christian music on the house radio and Bible in the room desk drawer.

The rooms (King mini suite & 2 Qn) were nicely appointed.

I was also extremely impressed with the pet friendly rooms at no extra charge (unless you cause damage).

Our room was clean, and appointed with everything we needed, including internet.

Weather was spectacular and I had the beautiful infinity pool and hot tubs to myself.

*The pool was very nice and so were the 2 hot tubs.

We used the pool and hot tub - what a nice view from both!

Stayed in the single story bungalow near the hot tubs & pool for 10 days & highly recommend this beautiful place!

The pool and hot tub was awesome and our one year old learned how to really love swimming there.

The grounds were so beautiful and we really enjoyed our time in the pool and hot tub overlooking the lake.

When I arrived, I was told that the pool and hot tub was open 24/7- which seemed great!

The pool was heated and the hot tubs were so refreshing especially after a day of kayaking the river.

There was also a heated swimming pool and two hot tubs!!

The resort is beautiful and has everything you need (outdoor pool, 2 hot tubs, laundry machines, work out center, 2 restaurants, grocery store across the street, complimentary breakfast, and lawn games.

The pool and hot tubs were a nice added touch!

I have stayed there for years and enjoy the setting, the pool, and the hot tub, and they love dogs.

.we were able to relax from the long drive in the hot tub and swim and goof around in the lovely infinity pool.

We swam in the pool and hot tubs and had the place to ourselves which was nice.

The view was amazing and the pool/hot tubs were clean and inviting.

Would loved to come back and enjoy the hot tubs in the winter.

Of the five times calling the front desk the phone was answered only once.

Even when off-site, most of us in supervisory/managerial positions can be easily reached by email or a cell phone.

The hide-a-bed had no sheets, so we had to call and get some.

It was after 11pm, and the answering service said she'd call the manager.

She never even had enough gall to call us back!

I would call the bedding "homespun", fitting the log-railed bed, not luxurious.

There was no assistance answering any dialable # on the phone.

Although the website is a bit confusing with all the different room configurations a quick call to the hotel brings clarity.

The pool area is very nice and has a great view of the lake.

View from our deck: the grounds were pretty and pleasant with a nice pool and a view of Flathead Lake.

The most friendly people work there and everyone we met at the pool was so nice.

Cabins clean they even provide robes for after your pool time.

We stayed in one of the King bed jacuzzi rooms.

The infinity pool and two jucuzzis were really fabulous, just swimming in line with the tree tops and so peaceful.

Our room was huge with a jet tub in the middle of the room, a fireplace and within a few feet of the gorgeous infinity pool.

Pool, jacuzzi , fire pit and great included breakfast .wished I was staying more than 1 night .less than 1 hour from Glacier .

We come back to Riley's Restaurant quite often, most recently for the wonderful Sunday Brunch.

Staff was friendly and helpful.Great view of the lake close enough to town for services and we were able to get food delivered.

Not much you can walk to and only one of the restaurants was open for dinner and it was fully reserved when we arrived.

but we found a great Italian restaurant, Old Bridge Pub, a few miles away.

The nearby restaurant was nicely appointed with average food and long waits for a meal.

And the more casual restaurant attached to the hotel (Riley’s) had great food.

Schafer's restaurant on property (see separate review) was fantastic.

From Kim up front, who recommended dinner at the lodge.

Staff was very efficient and friendly, and helped us make a reservation at the restaurant on site.

Also we got food to go from Riley’s and ate there on the porch one night .. convenient and delicious!

My husband had the philly cheese steak and he thought it was just ok.

Also, skip dessert and enjoy s’mores by the campfire at this beautiful lodge!

We elected to dine outdoors on a balcony overlooking the property and Flathead lake and we were not disappointed by the view or the food.

2 places to eat both are excellent and rooms include continental breakfast.

Drove to Bigfork for a great dinner at Schafer's restaurant and needed to charge my electric car.

The room had a balcony where we enjoyed cocktails overlooking the grounds and watched the sunset.

Large room with separate bedroom and a balcony with an amazing view of the Flathead Lake.

But that feeling follows you inside to the rooms and all facilities.

Our room was $295USD ($387CDN), for that pricing I expect a decent room.

Our room was really nice, large, clean and comfortable.

After then walking to the front desk to report, the room key stopped working so back again.

The room was so comfortable and little touches like the fireplace help to make it so.

The accomodations were spacious and clean; a living room, small kitchen area with sink, microwave, refrigerator, bedroom and bath, and a front porch.

Nice room layout with fireplace and comfortable firm queen bed, balcony with lake view,  Courtyard area with putting green maintained in immaculate shape.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

It is interesting that there is an envelope in the room to tip the housekeeper.

We loved staying at the lodge .. our room was spacious with a living area that had a view of the lake , small kitchenette perfect for keeping snacks and cold drinks .. and cute bedroom with comfy king size bed !

I left a camera charger in the room and they called me - thank you!

The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, and rooms were also spacious.

Black mold in the bathroom, cobwebs all over ceiling, remnants of a dead squished mosquito on the wall, dead bugs in bath tub along with old beat up lamp.

but the tables were sticky and there was debris on  the floor and the staff member who was meant to be looking after the area far preferred talking hunting to one of the visitors rather than doing his job. Pity.

Here were the negatives:
- Very basic room, didn't even have a mirror, hard mattress, dirty carpet
- partial view of Flathead Lake, nothing special
- empty shower soap dispenser & empty tissue box in bathroom
- very basic continental breakfast with tasteless coffee and stale pastries
- continental breakfast not available until 7:00 am.

but because of the smoke he headed north.

Missoula, MT has suffered through a grey, damp, and dismal winter and my husband and I were looking for a quick getaway.

For $250 we did not expect to have filthy, stained carpets that you couldn't pay me to walk on without shoes, popcorn and other debris sprinkled everywhere, snack food across the balcony and a build up of grunge on the toilet.

Couch was dirty so we had to put a blanket over it, and the balcony was filthy with bird poop all over chairs and table.

I went to put food in the fridge only to smell something odd and stepped in something wet.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

The people who greeted us were delightful.

Everyone at the hotel was very welcoming, from the front desk who let us check in a little early to a staff member who sat with us and told us all the points of interest around the area.

The staff, cleaning- breakfast & front desk - were so courteous, professional & friendly that we can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at the Mountain Lake Lodge (MLL) on a prior occasion back in 2018 and were impessed by both the spaciousness of the room and the quality of service provided by the employees.

Staff was friendly - Michelle Marie greeted all guests with a big smile.

Despite the craziness of COVID, the staff were friendly and found creative ways to make us feel welcome.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly.

The front desk will let you borrow bear spray.

The continental breakfast in the morning had a great selection and the staff were all super friendly.

The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Loved the porch with the chairs to sit outside with beautiful view of grounds.
