It was my second time at the Bellavista hotel and I hope to go there again next year .Hard to imagine a holiday without enjoying the sunny beach opposite the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, just a few steps from the beach and a few steps from the main promenade with lots of restaurants and souvenir shops.

Very good location (you just have to cross the street to be on the beach).

The hotel is right at the beach with perfect sea-view from the rooms.

Lignano really reminded me of the Jersey shore, the beach was absolutely packed on a Sunday afternoon,

The hotel has free bikes for clients to use and reserved parasols and sun loungers at the beach across the road.

The pool was also very beautiful and the beach was so clean with fine sand.

we went to Venice, Grado, Udine in a trip, i recommend if you want to visit Venice from Lignano take the car to Latisana and from there the train directly to Venice(the train lives every hour or so).

The hotel is amazing, in a great location just opposite the beach and 100 metres from the main pedestrian zone (via Udine & via Tolmezzo).

We had seaview rooms where we watched the sunrise and the beach workers prepare for the day.

Location is two blocks from main shopping/restaurant street and at the best part of a lovely sandy beach, with private reserved sunbeds.

Also a big plus is the included towel and sunbed service at the beach.

Hotel is in the perfect location for everything: beach, shopping, running, biking, restaurants, bars.

Sunbeds and beach towels etc were all provided for the week.

Hotel is is realy just across the small street to the beach and just two streets from the main walking street in Lignano, where you can find all the shops and restaurants.

Hotel team is so friendly, the hotel location is perfect and rooms are clean and spacious.

The staff is really friendly and attentive as well as being fluent in a number of languages which makes talking to them easy, no matter what you require.

The front desk personnel is friendly, English speaking and able, especially when we wanted info about visiting Trieste and Udine which we recommend a side trip to.

It is an ideal place for taking a rest and relaxing at the same time .The staff is incredibly helpful and hospitable Very good food for breakfast,an enjoyable special evening drink at the bar and above all a highly professional mamagement.

For Breakfast there is a buffet plus you can order some additional cooked meal such as omelete, fried eggs, pancakes etc.

Hotel location is just perfect surrounded by great restaurants.

It is  a lovely, cosy place to stay in Lignano near everything you need during your holiday: beach, restaurants, shops, or even a lighthouse (we visited it by bike which is also available free at the hotel)  We will definitely go back!

Dinner was on another level, a very skilled chef, clearly, with an impressive attention to details.

It’s a very beautiful hotel, nearly to the beach, with a  very attentive staff and good food.

The hotel is right on the beach and a one minute walk to the pedestrian street where one can find cafes, shops amusements and more.

The Hotel is located just infront of the Beach and behind it you will find the walking area with the Shops and Restaurant.

Lots of places to eat withihn walking distance.

this is the place, you have the food, rich wine collection, and the wonderful view (especially 3th,4th flour).

The rooms are all adequately sized and all have a sea view.

The women who works in the reception where very helpful and friendly!

They all are very friendly, outgoing and were very motivated - at any time of the day, no matter how hot it was.

About 10 smiley, very friendly animators made sure every day we had a good time from 10 am till 11 pm.

The entertainment team of the hotel was very nice and friendly and had some fantastic shows in the evenings.

Mainly Italians and Germans who were all very friendly.

Everyone was very friendly and a lovely atmosphere.

All the staff were friendly & spoke at least a little English, some spoke very good particularly the entertainment staff.

The anamos team reps work very hard providing varied activities for all ages, well polished entertainment from the reps at night with all reps very friendly nothing was ever too much trouble.

!Lots of German holiday makers all friendly enough.

but mostly germans though the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, ( the sunbeds had towels on early in the morning!)

There is a kids club from 10 - 12 and 4 - 6 6 days a week and the children's entetainers are very friendly and welcoming.

Staff in both reception and bar/dining were very friendly.

The Venexia is friendly and good value with a good choice.

We stayed here with our kids for 12 days.

They keep our kids busy the whole day, which is great.

We had a great holiday with our 3 year old daughter.

Great pool with great entertainment for kids etc.

Kids met up with some Dutch and German friends and were very happy.

The girl that worked there was very good with her english.The walk into town wasn't too bad and there's a good choice of shops and Restaurants down there.

Lunapark great fun for older children as are several games arcades dotted arround.

The animation crew do a wonderful job every day keeping everyone entertained - zumba, water aerobics, spin class, kids club, mini disco and shows in the evening.

The beach was immaculate, with lots of play areas for the children.

The hotel is ideal for a family with young children and they put their all into making your stay comfortable.

but as it was translated in 3 lanuages the comedy wasnt very good but our son enjoyed it.

Our kids wase very found of the pool area and the staff there makes the funn part for the kids in a very good way.

Its a great way to try out a new language kids picked up a fair bit in such a short time.

Caorle is the place to go for pretty windey streets (though not much for the kids).

A kind Danish girl brought him to safety.

The villaggio is a great place with a great pool (also for the kid), with a nice restaurant (always helpful staff, great dinner and breakfast), with playground for kids.

Loud noise from the stage All the way to balkony, to many People running for sunbed just for leaveing a towel and then first retur for hoursr longer, All animation is only in German or italian, Lucky it is very close to Ana pizza

The staff was nice and the restaurant was OK.

Very clean beach nearby, good shopping and eating places within walking distance.

The  Maxi pizzas were HUGE and could easily feed a family of 4,all for 14 Euros.

Most other holidaymakers German and not too many British which is great if you want to get away from it all and not see British pub signs/breakfasts and lager louts.

We joined in the pasta pool party which was excellent value at just one euro each!

The main street is lovely with fountains and flowers and has hundreds of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Our favorite restaurant in town was Marco Polo, lots of choice, good food, not too expensive & lovely staff.

We also took a gondola ride & found McDonalds!

though all the menus are in italian, german and english.

Tons of restaurants which are mostly good value and the pizza is brilliant .

There are a couple of supermarkets very close by for all provisions and for good meals out it was about a 15 minute walk into town and you were spolit for choice.

For someone who has been to Villaggio Planetarium Resort for over 10 years in a row, i can say that the animation Team this year has been doing an amazing Job!

They also love to learn new dances from animators.

I've been here 13 times and it's always entertaining.

The animation team especially Aldo were brilliant!

Great kids club and entertainment in the hotel, offered you to join in ,

Most evenings they also provided some entertainment, we only went once to a "comedy" act, it was ok

But because of all the entertainment at the hotel there's noice all the way to 2300 hours.

First of all, the animation team here are excellant, the time, dedication they put into their jobs is amazing.

The pool was designed for children and my three boys enjoyed the waterslide, the entertainment team organised games in and around the pool. There was a mix of nationalities, a few english families

The staffs at the reception communicate mainly in German, and then come English.

That should be one access code per appt and good reception in every building.

The Italians are very hospitable and a warm welcome was given every where.

Overall quality very good, save for the service, where the lady at the reception looks like she hated the all world that she has to work there :-( 
Another negative - Internet not free, and once you pay for it, you experience problems with the access.

Many days in August we see almost no one swimming due to cold water or rain.

The one and only minus is swimming pool which is hard to swim becouse it is 1.2 meter deep

120 cm in depth (only a problem of swimming for adults).

The only thing that bother was the towels in the morning, all beds in front where taken.

Also, I do not expect in 4 stars hotel that I have still to pay extra money to get bed-sheets and extra towels!.

Don't forget to get up early with your towel to secure your sun lounger!!!

Towels are replaced on a Wednesday and sheets on a Sunday and if want them replaced before then you will have to pay.

Everyone spoke English anyway and were very nice and helpful.No problem finding sunbeds and no towels down until people were going to the pool area anyway.

Sheets were provided on saturdays and towels on wednesday as part of our package

The other serious issue was the internet.

Only minus is the internet wifi: 15€, unable to share.

The timetable is rubbish with up to 2 hours between buses so if you miss your connection. .

but was a bit overwhelmed by the choices on the internet.

The location of the hotel is right on the beach.

excellent staff and services, underground privat garage, short distance to the center or to the hotel beach, bikes and golf car directly from reception, excellent breakfast and dinner, just nice words about Vincenzo, Pawel, Ania, Silvia, Lilia, Christian, Albino and many others!

Our little sons have enjoyed the quasi empty beach after a 7 hours drive and they could drive their scooter on the long bicycle pass.

The beach is very nice and clean, also geat for children.

Also being directly at the beach is great.

50 meters from the beach, 500 meters from the shopping village, friendly staff, excellent variety of entertainment and excellent food quality

Beach is easily accessible, main shopping street is just a few minutes away.

Super friendly staff, great food and uber-clean rooms and service areas.We visit the hotel for the 7th time and we are as enthousiastic as the first time. The owners keep on investing, nice cabana's at the beach, a super SPA (Clarins!)

Located right on the beach too so the best of both pools and the sea.

A ride to the lighthouse is a must, having the stunning sandy beaches in your view all the way.

The good: My children (7 and 15 months) liked the hotel very much; fantastic food, closeness to the beach, swimming pool area, pool bar, children's playground, kids' club, entertainment, spinning class, water aerobics, etc., The bad: 1.

The dance festival 'Salsa on the beach' with full board and several workshops per day is just right to start into salsa dancing or improve.

The location directly at the beach, the pools and everything else made sure you always had something to do.

The good points are it still has an excellent kids club and activities, great pool and the beautiful beaches are still true Italian nice.

You can walk to the beach across a promande to get to the sandy beach.

The beach is very clean and organized with chairs stretching for miles.

Best choice for those who are looking for a great beach, very good italian food and a very nice hospitality

Weather at Bibione was a bit unstable (2 half days of heavy rain at the middle of August)

although each year at a different time - huge packs of jelly fish arrives to this specific shore of Italy and can stay there for weeks.

The restaurant service was horrible, they would not clean the table even after we asked several times, they were commenting all the time on things like that we poured juice in wrong cups, or we cannot take tea to the pool area, or take beeps for children unless given, the manager of the restaurant was unfriendly.

Also, often when you ask them to do something, like warm up milk - they roll their eyes and send you to another bar station, who in turn does the same.

Dinner at the hotel was really nice and fast for a reasonable price.

We had a great stay (in the low season, in October), the hotel is nicely renovated inside and offers everything a family can need for a holiday - great breakfast and dinner, very polite and helpfull staff, indoor pool, outdoor pool (childrens pool heated), play rooms and animation, even washing machine is in the house to be used by guests.

Our room was large, sunny and perfectly clean.

The hotel and grounds are immaculate and the hotel rooms are cleaned to a very high standard, also, there were small gifts left for the children which was a lovely touch.

Also the rooms (we had a suite and a room for our big family) are very good, much better than our recent vacation at Iberostar in Mallorca.
