The breakfast was fabulous for a continental breakfast and the car parking was secure and safe.

For something different try the amazing chocolatier just across from the church which serves focaccia slices and tartlets which were a nice change from a sandwich    Hotel breakfast was very good and worth the 10 euros.

Would definitely return, bed was comfortable and the breakfast spread was varied and generous.

Nice swimming pool for the warm days, the WiFi was ok, breakfast was good and generous.

A reasonably priced hotel in a great location with very friendly staff.The rooms are currently having a revamp, nice, bright and cheerful.We don't do breakfast there, a little overpriced for the choice.Stop at Cafe Riche on the corner for a Pastis, proper French bar with a wonderful owner.

The breakfast was very nice with fresh products such croissants and good selection of French cheeses.

It is  near all local places to visit .--eg the tobacco museum & wine cellar  & a trip on the water was refreshing ..We had the continental  breakfast each day which was 10 euros per person .It was good to relax in the garden after walking around for a few hours .We also picnicked outside in the evening .The staff were friendly & helpful .

Location is good, only 5 minutes from restaurants and 10 minutes from the medieval centre.

We spent a very comfortable 2 nights here, in the perfect location to explore Bergerac.

The hotel is well situated for all that Bergerac has to offer and the market that began outside the hotel and meandered through the streets was a delight.

pm as the market was closing so parking outside the hotel was free.

Our hotel was within walking distance to exploring Bergerac and the markets which gather around the church, and our en-suite room was a decent size.

Stayed on Friday so on Saturday morning the market was right outside which was excellent.

Overall a good choice in the small market town - ideal for exploring, with its own gated parking too!

Stayed at the Bordeeaux Hotel which was right next to the lage church and Saturday Market.

Gardens and pool were a bonus at the end of a hard day.

but were prepared to listen to our French language attempts    We had our last day relaxing round the pool as the weather was really hot.

It was a pleasure to stay here, made even more so by the small pool area that provided an oasis of calm on the hot summer's days.

The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout, safe parking onsite was ideal, and the pool was an added bonus for us and our 6 year old son.

Plus there’s a great outdoor pool for cooling off at the end of the day before heading out to one of the many restaurants close by.

We arrived by plane into Bergerac airport, there doesn't appear to be any public transport to/From this airport so we took a taxi which cost about 15 euros.

Staff were very helpful, rate was reasonable I guess for Bergerac which is a bit if a tourist trap ( 75 euro not including breakfast for one person in double room at last minute) Car parking on the street was pretty easy, less than 10 mins from old town.

but the room was a little small for a double.

Our room was small and a tads inaccessible.

The rooms were small, the view was to the closed roofs with the green carpet over them (not very inspiring).

but there were some problems -- poor WiFi in the rooms; rooms are small and the bed was a smaller ( and kept getting smaller as the night went on ); and the elevator would only work with one person and some luggage.

My room was quite small and old fashioned, very basic.

Sunken small bed, minute shower room, nasty net curtain and outlook grim.

While the room smelled musty, after a few days there the smell was gone.

The room was filthy, cramped, fronting on to thre nain street outlide, illuminated by a neon sign .

but the room was tired, a bit smelly, had a soft mattress and no door between the bedroom and the bathroom.

Very friendly owners who were also English speaking - great for us.

Extremely helpful staff and always seemed to go out of their way to help.

The hotel itself was fine and the staff were helpful.

Above all, a good team, running this team make all the difference.

Just arrived home from an excellent few days in the historic old town of Bergerac.

This lovely hotel, in the centre of the delightful town of Bergerac, is a great place to stay.

A 2 - 3 min walk to the historic old town, we stayed in a modern, light and airy family room equipped with all facilities you need for your stay.

Ideally placed in the centre of Bergerac for exploring the town.

On one of main squares, 5 mins walk to centre of town and 10 mins to railway station.

Easy walking distance to town centre and river.

The hotel was very conveniently placed for a walk into the old town and it was useful that they had private parking.

but many local restaurants within easy walking distance in the town centre.

but being close to the old town there are plenty of restaurants available.

That aside, I would stay here again when next in town, it’s a really good base for exploring both Bergerac and the local area.

Super family run hotel, helpful and friendly owners, the rooms were basic and sparkling clean, great location for the centre of Bergerac, lovely continental breakfast.

The staff were so friendly & helpful, the rooms were kept spotless, and all the floors were beautifully carpeted.

Our room was spotlessly clean and wonderful bed which guarantees a perfect night sleep.Tea and coffee tray and fridge were an added bonus with the balcony seating meant one could read outside.The great buffet breakfast was very reasonable @ 10 euros and should not be missed.

They apologised for the lack of lift, and after explaining that I was recovering from a knee replacement operation, they offered to change our room to a lower floor.

Our room was on the second floor and the only drawback there was, at the time, no lift.

My only comment would be is that there doesn't appear to be a lift.

This hotel has no lift, no bar to speak of and no mirror in the bedroom.

We had room  at the back of the hotel that overlooked the pool and was very quiet.

I am longing the day to come back and rest @ swimming pool which I have not discovered yet.

The hidden pool, set in a pretty garden was very welcome in high temperatures.

We enjoyed having the pool and the balcony to relax on (we had front facing rooms).

The pool at the rear of the property looked gorgeous, pity we didn’t have enough time to take a swim and enjoy the loungers.

Nothing was too much trouble, and the pool was excellent for a relaxed glass of wine and a dip in the afternoons.

Our room overlooked the garden and pool so was extremely quiet.

There is a swimming pool and sunbed area at the rear which is delightful on a hot day.

All rooms were well appointed, air conditioning, double glazing  and electric shutters and had a balcony looking into the Street.

The room is so quiet and peaceful at night and if it's not there is a shutter to use.

Nice tip for Brits - there's a kettle in your room and a supermarket across the road.

Good black-out blinds on the exterior of the windows, operated by a remote control handset in the room.

We arrived in Bergerac before the hotels check in time so had a stroll around as the room wasn’t quite ready which was not a problem.

Welcomed warmly , and rooms were modern, comfy and all facilities working , a small terrace looked out onto the Place Gambetta.

The rooms on the front of the hotel overlooking Place Gambetta have a balcony.

Our room overlooked a square that was holding an antiques market on one of the nights we were there.

The rooms are quiet, with aircon and coffee machine.

Every staff member at the hotel including the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming, room was ready early and they were always offering advice and anything we asked for they sorted it, faultless service.

The bathroom was truly tiny and the separate loo positively claustrophobic!
