The breakfast was adequate and had a good variety.

It was all Great (Service, Breakfast, the location of the Hotel.

I travel world, was shocked that they charged me 2.5 Euros for a Glass of Ice AND they didn't offer any public ice machines.

The room is very dated, bathroom is from the 60s, and most annoying was the lack of power points, I found one in the room from which I had to charge my phone which was laid on the floor.

As a result, I got charged an extra 30 euros at checkout which I had to pay.

NH, how am I supposed to charge my phone at night, or multiple devices at the same time?

There is only one plug socket in the bedroom and no ironing board in the room

There's a bed, Nespresso machine & an elevator.

No bar or even self service vending in the hotel, and a 4* hotel should not close its restaurant for a month's holiday, in my opinion.

But the coffee machine doesn't work properly, the coffee table is barely standing the air con is not cold enough to cool the room and probably needs at least re-gassing or replacing.

The only problem was their ice machine was broken.

The gym was old and machines were broken.

The hotel is in the heart of the city with lots of bars and shops nearby, walking distance to the museums.

The shower was leaky and the fridge in the room was not working and there was only one small bin provided in the bathroom.

Toiletries provided are basic (soap barely lathered, I asked twice for extra sanitary bags and got none).

In addition, the other two were clogged with dirt and leaves , hygiene levels severely as you can obviously tell.

The shower leaked, toilet didn’t flush and sink was only just attached to the wall.

The shower cabin was not closed and there was no way to keep the water from running from the cabin into the rest of the room.

but it was difficult to angle it so as to avoid flooding the bathroom.

4- No mirror in the room so you have to wear your makeup in the toilet,

The room was pretty dated, with fairly elderly bathroom fixtures and furniture that's seen better days.

Overall it's an OK hotel, could be better with updating its amenities.

The toilet was noisy as it kept filling with water.

but since my wife was in the shower, she disappeared without bringing any more.

The bathrooms are a bit old fashioned and when was the last time shower gel and shampoo were offered in sachets ?

The two downsides are the shower (the shower head in the middle of a rectangular tub, weird) and the internet was pretty slow so for Skype and just general use.

The bathroom in our room needed a serious refurb.

but supplied toiletries were cheap and nasty.

We lived the proximity to the clean beach and great evening stroll area filled with restaurants and again life.

Used July and aug this year as attended both festivals in benicassim ideally situated and near to beach too.

All in all for staying for the music festival it is a good choice, if staying for Benicassim, I would choose something closer to the beach.

but as others have observed, you're looking at the equivalent of a Travelodge in Spain, with the added advantages of a decent pool, a nearby beach and Muse headlining next door on the Saturday night.

Do all (Spanish) guests think that people don't go to bed before 2h?

Clashing sounds of guests' music systems blasting out, generally between 6pm and 9pm.

Whilst in a super location, and certainly kept clean (hence the 3/5 score), the staff on arrival and throughout the stay were rather abrupt, very much making us feel more of an inconvenience than guests, saying they were too busy to deal with us.

although with so many people there, you could only get connected at 7am 
Pool is very nice although the day after the festival and two thirds of the guests must have left, they started resurfacing around the pool and felt a bit like we were in the way.

but we left for the festival around then,  bearing in mind majority  of guests are English  in this hotel they could open the restaurant  a little earlier to accommodate the guests.

they do not even remember which room has guests in already.

We were booked into this hotel as international guests for a small conference in Sept.

There were pool monitors everyday going around checking peoples room no,s and names which was a very good idea and on the busiest day of the festival they were stood right at the entrance of the pool so that only hotel guests good get in.

By the time the festival was on, the clientele was very mixed, with large number of brits.

but that's insignificant as the rooms are clean staff very friendly great food and service and great location and facilities.

My sons football team travelled from Manchester.The hotel and staff were very good.Our boys are very well behaved and didn’t cause any problems for other residents staying at the hotel.The staff in the restaurant were very helpful especially Ruben who is the Chef,my son has food allergies and he took great care to cater for him.An all round good hotel.

Pros: close to FACSA football centre, plenty of food options at all meal times (although a LOT of sweet/dessert food at every meal), and room was fairly spacious.

Restaurant is a buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner.

We all found enough to eat to keep us going until later.

The food is all buffet style and of a reasonable quality for the large numbers of guests.

Bar prices were very reasonable and the food was excellent, everything from seafood to meats to salads, plenty for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.

Memories of this holiday will definitely fill some evenings chatting to my friends over a beer or two. .

Swimming pool area gets very busy and not many restaurants in the area which I could recommend going to.

The inclusive meals provided great variety and were all high-quality.

We stayed on a half-board basis and our one major complaint was the quality of the food.

In walking distance to the festival (20 minutes slow walk with a beer!

We ate elsewhere every night afterwards, and can definitely recommend Les Barraques around the corner, where we ate from their set menu.

Further inside, the rooms are very dated, beds are rock solid and bathrooms need attention.

I've just stayed here for benicassim festival, the hotel itself was nice and the rooms were what we needed.

This big hotel does the job, staff are friendly and rooms are tidy and spacious.

The swimming pool is excellent and the rooms all have balcony views which are brilliant on hot days.

The hotel was lovely from the point of view of the rooms (we had a quadruple) - we were on the 5th floor with a balcony and a stunning view.

I was a perfect location for the festival and we were so pleased to come back to a clean room with shower, aircon etc.

Rooms tidy and kept clean, and they even have a special 'fast' menu for the festival wkd too which you can get from the bar.

The rooms were clean and I had a terrace overlooking the pool area which was preferable to being on the outside of the building facing the street.

One of the best assets, is its proximity to the beach.

Located close to the beach this is a great spot for a sunny break in September.

but it was very clean, metres from the beach and within a 40 min walking distance from the festival ground.

I understand that you can rent a fridge we didn’t breakfast was not part of our deal we ate out.

Hotel is 1 minute from the beach, rooms are spotless and cleaned to a high standard every day.

It is a 2 star,but has everything you would need for a holiday.The rooms are spotless and the beds comfy and there is adequate storage for your things.

The rooms are clean and well equipped and quite secure.

Supermarket  less than 5 minutes walk away and town centre 10 minutes.

City center is 8-10 min walk with full of nice restaurant and bar.

You can swim and walk on the beach and decking free of charge.

The beach is 2 minutes walk -if that - and provides a huge expanse of sand and shallow water.

Really well located for the beach and just a few minutes walk into town.

As others have said, the hotel is only a very short walk from the beach.

We recently stayed here for the Benicassim music festival, it is around a 30 minute walk to the festival

This hotel is a stone throw from the beach, not far to walk to the town centre along the way there is an excellent supermarket.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the only slight criticism could be that the air conditioning struggled a bit to cope with the Summer heat as the corridors were pretty hot.

The Train station is the glass building that looks like an exhibition hall, to the left as you look out of the window.

This problem probably was related to the fact that the interior hall was not cooled.

Sensors detecting our presence gradually illuminated our way down the hallway like something out of a Sci Fi movie.
