A final advantage of the Hotel Luz Castellòn: the garage is definitely one of the most comfortable and clean you could wish for.

The Train station is the glass building that looks like an exhibition hall, to the left as you look out of the window.

but okay food and open, albeit a little late for a hotel but in this town this is normal.

The location is not great (in front of the bus station, so if you want to keep a window open, you'll hear bus engines rolling the whole time, even at night.

About 20 mins walk through the park to the busy city centre if you want to tour or eat out.

The 3 course meal with an amuse bouche is 22 Euros.

It had a lovely balcony with nice furniture,but it wasn't suitable weather for using it, unfortunately.

Everything exceeded expectations, from the fabulous shower to the grand sized bed and bedding, to the balcony with sunbeds, wicker table and chairs and the fabulous hammock.

The hotel is located right by the beach without any road inbetween, which made my room with a big balcony overlooking the beach especially pleasant.

We had a sea view room with a balcony which was very nice.

Being able to stretch out in your own balcony hammock while watching the last of the sun's rays disappear over the horizon is amazing.

One night stay with breakfast included for 2 persons was 88euros which is a great price given you are staying at 1st line from the beach.

This hotel is fantastic, Right on the beach with a cafe/reataurant and terrace that leads onto it.

Plenty to see along the seafront towards Castellon,  the Villas and Torre de San Juan to name two.

There are also 2 traditional style deck chairs for the beach saving you the €15 to hire 2 su beds and a parasol.

The Voramar is in a really nice location in the old town, a few steps from everywhere you would want to go including the beach.

We ate both in the restaurant and the beach cafe and the food was excellent.

One of the best parts of this hotel is the fact that it is placed exactly on the beach; the rooms with view towards the seaside are real 'rooms with a view'.

Ideally situated on the beach, the view down the coast went on for miles.

The relaxing private shaded area overlooking the beach was fabulous in the hot mid-day sun.

Breakfast was lovely every morning with stunning views of the sea and beach!

although ours had two, one overlooking the road and the mountains in the background, whilst the other one overlooked the beach.

Breakfast was taken each morning in the elevated restaurant overlooking the beach and the variety and quality was excellent.

The room was fresh, clean and very modern.

Apparently these were not available (they stayed empty the whole time we were there) so we asked whether it was possible to have the shades unfolded to which he said that the wind was too strong and so they won't be able to unfold them yet.

Some of the staff in the restaurant are hostile not hospitable the tables are never set and you have to ask for anything like a knife and a folk it's like you've asked for them to cook you a full on Sunday dinner, very little choice of food if you don't like fish.

For a start my 'additional requests' had been ignored, or at least they could not be fulfilled.

Slightly disappointed on arrival not to have been placed next door to our friends as requested who had an upper floor room with uninterrupted beach/sea view.

We were traveling with a dog and could take our breakfast and dinner outside on the terrace, which h was pretty cold in the evening.

A gleaming white, colonial building with spacious well appointed rooms.

Room has  a reasonable size and has been in a reasonably good shape being given the age of the hotel.

Regarding the food, the burgers were dry, the service was slow and a friend was given normal milk in her coffee when she asked for oat.

Service in the beach terrace cafe is very slow.

however, service can be slow when you are waiting to be served here, often it was quicker to go into the cafe' itself and order.

My room was overlooking the traffic lights and I thought I might be disturbed, get traffic fumes,

The furniture is extremely old, the room was not clean enough and the smell of sewer was unbearable.

It seems the housekeeping smokes during making up the room, either that or there is a serious plumbing problem in the hotel, I suspect the former is more likely.

The toilet smelt very badly and generally the bath room was in a bad state with mould patches on the ceiling.

The receptionist looked up local places of interest to check to see the opening times and answered our many questions

The Ceviche Del Mar is singularly the best of its kind I have ever tasted - your taste buds will seriously explode .

The clerks are very friendly and willing to help and speak many languages.

The views are beautiful and the hotel is very comfortable .
