The location is about 2,5 k from the city centre.

5 minutes walk from large supermarket and in other direction a shopping center (furniture etc).

Suggested for a business trip and for a short stop not in Lione center

but Villefranche centre is only five minutes in the car,  though not much there to see.

Friendly welcome at the reception, food in restaurant also good.

We ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner and it was excellent!

The restaurant is very nice and they have a big place to sit outside.

If you need, there is a restaurant wich i didn’t use.

Very nice place to stay, very helpfull staff and the courapaille is a nice restaurant to have a good diner.

There weren’t many restaurants in the vicinity so this stands out.

The service was excellent, as was the food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

The staff are really pleasant, food in the restaurant is very good, probably the best in the whole of the trip (we stayed in 6 hotels) in the overnight hotels.

They have a restaurant on site that is open till late so very handy if arriving later than expected.

What should you expect from an Ibis Hotel - in fairness, they are a budget chain that usually provide clean rooms, sparse and functional.

The room was clean, the shower hot, and we had an excellent sleep.

For around 80 euros we got a nice, comfortable and clean room; they are always dog friendly which is brilliant.

Access to and from the autoroute is short and easy, rooms are clean and comfortable and we have always found the staff to be helpful and welcoming.

The room was clean, the bed was excellent and the bathroom had everything you need.

The bathroom was small, with just a shower (which suited us).

The rooms are very basic, small shower, not even a box a tissue, and some rough toilet paper.

The toilet was jammed up against a wall which meant for me (being over 6'1), I had to sit sideways, to fit comfortably on the throne.

The paper thin walls mean you hear everything - the party was not even on our floor

The aircondition was som full of dirt that we had to remove the filter to make it workshop.

Very noisy airco that we had to turn off - then it became too hot -and in the very early morning a pungent smell from the bakery.

They remained professional, helpful and kind throughout, and the food was very acceptable.

there was fresh fruit salad for breakfast, amazing for the price you pay.

Dinner with discount at nearby ibis was good and convenient.

We were travelling by car, it was raining hard and we were very tired, so this was just our first pick from the chain of the hotels on the road.

If your other options are camping or sleeping in your car.

The hotel has free car park and free wifi, that's fantastic.

Receptionist very helpful and pleasant helped us out with our French / English  Room was very clean and tidy

My advice will be - stay clear of this hotel chain, it is better to take a tent with you than to spent a night in such a place.

That's what it is and thank goodness it exists because I wouldn't have wanted to spend money in good hotels just to bring my car from Italy to the UK.

There was noone at the reception for a long time, and thanks to one gentleman who told me about the automatic reservation & booking system near the front door we bought this horrible kennel for 47 EURO (breakfast included). Such a cheap price (and we could have found hotels at a similar price nearby, as we found out later - no breakfast,

One person greets at night (friendly) and makes "breakfast" in the tiny lobby in the morning.

Great staff, great room and the best dinner I can remember ever!

An interesting menu well cooked and served.

My wife maintains that the restaurant was the best we’ve eaten at fir years.

We had dinner that was delicious a menu for €32 each and next morning a typically French breakfast no frills

A lovely cold glass of wine before a sumptuous dinner, cooked to perfection, made our stay memorable.

but a really charming and stylish old building with great charm and superb food.

We have gone there for the Mother's Day and really enjoyed our lunch.

Food is great and I highly recommand the superb terrace on a sunny day.

The owners seem passionate about food which is reflected in the gourmet menu, and maybe where all their effort lies.

Lovingly prepared by the chef patron, I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've ever had.

The building itself has seen better days and needs some refurbishment in and outside, therefore an average rating.

Not a very big hotel - maybe 20 or so rooms in a block across the smallish car park from the admin/dinnig room building.

There was clearly an odour problem with the room and some very crude holes had been drilled into the mantel of the door to allow for better airculation.

Staying here as we speak, the whole place needs re-furbishing, 
The room is tatty, with the curtain half hanging of, the sealant is cracked in the bathroom, and the toilet bowl is chipped, all the door frames look like a dog has chewed them, the windows are dirty.

There were no curtains just an outside drop down blind which had not been cleaned on the inside for years.

Found the girl very condescending with poor customer service.

The hotel is quite old.Rooms are poor furnished

The staff were rude after emailing them in English and French to request an accessible room and a ground floor room they just looked blank asked for the money which they had already taken from my account at 13:00 The place is dirty in need of being flattened with a tank and rebuilt.

Eventually she managed to get it right and asked for 43 euros which we knew was too little and we told her so.

but the astonishing lack of customer friendly attitude demonstrated by the owners, combined with Spartan conditions and exorbitant price tipped the scale.

The manager really didn’t understand that the toilet in the room with zero privacy was a problem.

The room was spotless, spacious and had a large bed ( always a bonus!).

Conveniently situated a short walk from the town centre, this is a modern hotel with quality furnishings.

Hotel is located in the center of Villefranche-sur-Saône.

Next to a park so very quite sleep during night, a Japanese restruant in walking distance where I also liked a lot.

Superior rooms are inexpensive and very comfortable and quiet.

Hotel room was exceptionally clean and neat.

A superior room is large with a very comfortable large bed.

We had a disabled room at the front of the hotel with a Juliet balcony, nice and big room with air con - great!
