- The swimming pool being a bit small and all the same dept at only 2.1M
- As the breakfast was a buffet style the food could sometimes be a little cold when sitting down to eat it (The Fry).

The pool is much too shallow and very cold.

Only constructive feedback I could give is that the pool temperature was quite cold and was hard to enjoy the time in it , this seemed to be topic of conversation in the pool with the other guests .

Alice getting house keeping to bring me a bath robe, adjusting the heat so I was lovely and warm on a very cold day.

The dessert was cold when it came for a “Warm chocolate brownie”.

Anyway , room service breakfast … arrived on time , that’s where  the good points end … it was cold , it was missing half of what we ordered , no condiments , and the cooking was very poor , Bacon was fatty and undercooked , eggs were practically raw and inedible , muesli tasted musty … I could go on … tried restaurant breakfast the next day … quality of food was slightly better , only slightly mind you , the chefs still didn’t seem to master the art of cooking an egg ….

Waited over an hour for my dinner which was fine for it to be served cold.

During our stay last weekend the air conditioning was on cold in the seating area for breakfast and dinner so we were freezing when waving food asked staff to turn it off 3 times no joy would go back the next time

Kids running mad in corridors at night, room service cold and breakfast following morning cold for a four star hotel it was not a good stay we had booked breakfast only for hotel to move it forward a hour as they had not booked times correctly and staff could not cope

When food finally arrived my meal was cold (didnt mind too much as it was steak)

Our only gripe was that it advertised a Jaccuzzi, it is not, it is a series of (cold) air jets built into seats in the main (cold) pool.

but the whole place feels constantly cold & in need of draught proofing everywhere.

but most of them were actually cold (they must have been left lying around.

however this time I was shocked at how cold the entire hotel was.

We went for a swim - pool is a bit cold for younger kids and is a bit tired looking

Very welcoming Reception area with super friendly and helpful staff.

From arrival at reception, friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel, the rooms we’re immaculately clean (fridge/kettle/top quality biscuits/coffee/tea and even cadburys  hot chocolate), the facilities, restaurant, evening menu and meal, bar, breakfast - Best Choice for breakfast I’ve ever seen (5 ⭐️), cleanliness and general ambience.

First impressions where great, Receptionist who checked us in was friendly and nice to speak with and very helpful.

The atmosphere in the bar was poor for a 4* hotel.

Information on where to go how to find places was poor.

A member of reservations said on two occasions today that they would phone me and this did not happen, shockingly poor service.

but nothing special but the £14.50 for a charcoaled burger was poor.

Very disappointing, I will never stay at this hotel again because of the poor service.

The diner had very slow and poor table service 
The chicken main meal when it arrived had obviously been kept warm and was dry and tough 
It reminded me of a poor school diner not worth the £45 charged

The lunch was also poor and some guests did not even get a sandwich

I find it appalling that a four star hotel could offer me this, expecting  I pay money again for such poor service! !

Room service interaction very poor, room service staff quite rude and we called many times and were put on hold for 10 mins at a time.

We would not recommend this hotel, the River Bar was just ok and the service poor.

The customer service in the river bar was extremely poor.

Stayed for 3 nights recently and the overall stay was quite poor really(sarcastic understatement ).

I  would return even with the bad food and poor internet

In the hallways it was riddled with empty trays and litter from morning and when we would arrive back that evening the same trays would be still lying there,sometimes with the forks and knives on the carpet floor( which is a real safety hazard for young kids ) We seen with our own eyes, staff members literally walking right past the trays as if to say it wasn't there job,

We also noticed the bar outside tables would be full of glasses for hours and the bins overflowing and never changed which resulted in litter scattering around the car park.

The bar Service was poor, empty glasses not collected from tables all evening.

Cooked breakfast was poor as was the same with the food in bar.

but coverage when needing it is very poor.

Food was well below par for a four star hotel it was frozen food and very poor.

Breakfast was disappointing as the food was only lukewarm and the coffee was weak, poor quality.

Evening meal in bar area couldn’t be faulted and we were looked after so well by Kyle and Jonathan.

We stayed as a family group of 16 for 2 nights and really could not find fault, food in bar & restaurant was very nice as was breakfast.

We tried the bar the cocktails are a great size and flavour.

Other great things about this hotel include: lovely pool, great bar food, very helpful bar staff, fantastic breakfast buffet and great location/base for exploring Belfast city.

So that meant bar food and dinner which the food was actually ok

We ate in the bar in the evening, food was lovely, couldn't fault it.

Had a great welcome at the desk and the ladies made us feel very welcomed on arrival.

While all of the staff were first rate, the breakfast manager at the restaurant went miles beyond.

I must mention Robyn on reception who really stood out and treated us with both care and with an attention to detail rarely experienced these days.

We had our marriage reception in the Crown Plaza on the 3rd of September and it was everything we wished for and more.

The breakfast buffet is superb( try the poached eggs)as was Maggie what a wee 🌟 as was the rest of the staff.

Previously we had attended some weddings there.

We had a wonderful wedding venue tour with Natasha - who is utterly exceptional.

The wedding day went off without a hitch and everything ran smooth.

They will ensure your day / ceremony is amazing whether you have 100 guests at your wedding or 10 guests social distancing.

The week of the wedding, and particularly the day itself, was brilliant.

This hotel was lovely, and the location was a convenient walk to City Hall and many restaurants.

Whilst the hotel appeared to be just outside the center - it was a short walk to the City Hall.

The city centre is about 10-15 mins to City Hall/M&S, 20-25 mins to Dunnes.

Well appointed, comfy bed, safe, kettle and tea/ coffee and clean.

We booked a Premium King Bed room which was spacious, had everything you would need in it, and the bed was comfy.

We had a double bed and a sofa bed, the sofa bed could have been more comfortable

Absolutely amazing hotel me and a few friends went up for the weekend staff were always friendly and chatty, especially one man who worked there who was the most lovely person always talking away to us.

Staff are very friendly, particularly the young lad who provided us with a list of pubs to try, and who promoted his city enthusiastically.

Well to be honest this particular Holiday Inn goes beyond that - the staff, even when confronted with the occasionally 'over-exuberant' behaviour of a party of 26 ageing rugby players, were never anything less than friendly and patient and willing to go the extra yard to make our stay enjoyable.

The staff were also very friendly and answered any questions I had easily.

We arrived for a 2 night break and was swiftly and politely checked in - the staff were so friendly, welcoming and professional the reception team including Amy, Chloe & Courtnay were fantastic, helpful and charming.

Cons: Only one lift working, poor lighting in room, scruffy surroundings.

The service was exceptionally poor with no  apology made and food was finally served for half the ladies that arrived at 10.30pm.

I will explain why I find this a poor experience and why I would be reluctant to return. 1.

My expectation based on previous experience was that Holiday Inn hotels were a little tired with over priced poor quality food offerings.

Rooms are good apart from the heating which is poor .

This is the first time we have had a poor visit to Holiday Inn.

If I was nit-picking, I would say that the pressure in the shower was quite poor and the pillows were quite lumpy

although I thought the evening foods was poor menu despite this I had a meal, I was poorly afterwards.

but space to hang and store clothing is poor.

The Air con in rooms was a bit poor as when there in February it was very cold outside,

We were a bit confused and apprehensive, since we had stayed here 2 years ago, when it was The Days Inn Hotel, and the standards were poor.

In Hope Street the loo paper is so thin and poor you need three times as much and it doesn't tear where it's supposed to.

Time from order to delivery was also poor - which makes me think they were short handed.

The only problem we found with the room was that the light from the bedside lamps was poor and with no central light, reading in bed was difficult.

but the quality of the food o m g poor breakfast poor not hot  but both diners not good  staff very pleasant but same old well what canwe do would I stay again !!!!

Our rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We visited the Holiday Inn last weekend very welcoming and fantastic breakfasts.

I am a returning guest staying at this hotel and I can not express how helpful and brilliant the staff are.

The reception staff, Chloe, was excellent, would have to say went above and beyond to ensure the type of guest room suited my needs and was great at answering any questions I had.

Breakfast was good and staff were pleasant.
