The location was great - about a 10-15 minute walk from City Hall and about a 15-20 minute walk to the train station.

We booked a Premium King Bed room which was spacious, had everything you would need in it, and the bed was comfy.

Well to be honest this particular Holiday Inn goes beyond that - the staff, even when confronted with the occasionally 'over-exuberant' behaviour of a party of 26 ageing rugby players, were never anything less than friendly and patient and willing to go the extra yard to make our stay enjoyable.

The staff were also very friendly and answered any questions I had easily.

We arrived for a 2 night break and was swiftly and politely checked in - the staff were so friendly, welcoming and professional the reception team including Amy, Chloe & Courtnay were fantastic, helpful and charming.

The location, on the edge of the city centre (if not the city centre itself) is incredibly convenient and provides the ideal base from which to explore the main sights of Belfast, which is actually surprisingly compact and easy to cover on foot.

It's in a really good location, right near Europa Bus Station if you're getting the bus from the airports and a short walk away from pretty much most places in the city centre.

I will explain why I find this a poor experience and why I would be reluctant to return. 1.

My expectation based on previous experience was that Holiday Inn hotels were a little tired with over priced poor quality food offerings.

Rooms are good apart from the heating which is poor .

This is the first time we have had a poor visit to Holiday Inn.

If I was nit-picking, I would say that the pressure in the shower was quite poor and the pillows were quite lumpy

The Air con in rooms was a bit poor as when there in February it was very cold outside,

We were a bit confused and apprehensive, since we had stayed here 2 years ago, when it was The Days Inn Hotel, and the standards were poor.

In Hope Street the loo paper is so thin and poor you need three times as much and it doesn't tear where it's supposed to.

Time from order to delivery was also poor - which makes me think they were short handed.

The only problem we found with the room was that the light from the bedside lamps was poor and with no central light, reading in bed was difficult.

but the quality of the food o m g poor breakfast poor not hot  but both diners not good  staff very pleasant but same old well what canwe do would I stay again !!!!

Josh Lolivia was exceptionally helpful and nothing was to much trouble even gave us great advice re City attractions, Bars and  Restaurants.

We had a lovely meal at the hotel, we sat away from the main area.

The room was perfectly comfortable, the breakfast was great with a healthy mix of foods from both the UK and US.

The breakfast was very tasty and had great choice.

After check in we went out to the zoo and after a thunder storm there arrived back at the hotel for a quiet meal and drinks.

We visited the Holiday Inn last weekend very welcoming and fantastic breakfasts.

I am a returning guest staying at this hotel and I can not express how helpful and brilliant the staff are.

The reception staff, Chloe, was excellent, would have to say went above and beyond to ensure the type of guest room suited my needs and was great at answering any questions I had.

Breakfast was good and staff were pleasant.

They were incredibly accommodating to our 11 month old son, and did anything they could to help.

When I settled in I remembered that I had always liked Premier Inn for the following reasons: Identical to other Premier Inns in that they are quiet, clean, comfortable, well staffed (staff competent, courteous, polite and not overly friendly) and reasonably priced.

I would stay again as the location is right in Belfast city centre, with shops nearby.

The hotel is in a very central location, ideal for walking to most of the major attractions within the capital.

Indifferent or annoyingly sarcastic receptionist (depending on time of day) , and the hotel’s ultimate fail was taking money from every one for breakfast when there wasn’t any food or service.

I didn't end up eating enough to make it worth the money.

There are good bars and restaurants within a short walk, try Bootleggers delicious burgers.

but it was only about 10 or 12 pounds for all you can eat breakfast.

Third visit to this hotel…..1st since covid and was not disappointed I was travelling with my 11 year old granddaughter and she loved it, took advantage of the kids eat free breakfast with me paying.

Highly recommend a stay here and especially dining at the hotel.

At breakfast I waited 5 mins to be seated in a quiet restaurant then was directed to a table with crumbs on it and missing cutlery .

Service, be it at reception, bar, restaurant and housekeeping all excellent.

Included the meal options and had a great dinner and breakfast.

Arrived on a Thursday till the Sunday the Thursday evening we ate in the hotel which was ok apart from the mixed grill I had it was okay

Stayed here 2 nights this week when going to Belsonic seeing Iron Maiden, nice hotel, central to everything, we were on the top floor nice view, clean room and bathroom, would stay again.

The smell of drains in our daughters' room was so off putting that they had to come to our room to brush their teeth!

I rang the hotel and got told they would ask them to leave, only to find out I had to sleep on my friends sofa, (luckily they were home) as they allowed this individual to stay in my room and run to a smoking fine
Since that night I have been gob smacked at how I’ve been treated, gob smacked at the lies being told my this hotel!

My room spelled like urine and my boyfriend had booked this for a night stay away for us and we didn’t even want to be in the room the smell was that bad !

Bathroom smelt like hospital toilets, towels insufficient and shabby. Disappointing.

They also use Costa beans too which are disgusting in my opinion!!

Was an ok stay the bathroom had a bad smell as in mouldy.

Pillows in the room also like bricks and hotel quite smelly and outdated.
