We ate several breakfasts and one dinner at the hotel and have no complaints except that it can be very crowded at breakfast due to the large tour groups.

Clean, nice and central, top tip would be at breakfast ( ours was included), go after 9:30, much quieter, lots of coach parties, have departed and there's still food.

We visited the Holiday Inn last weekend very welcoming and fantastic breakfasts.

Breakfast was good and staff were pleasant.

The room was perfectly comfortable, the breakfast was great with a healthy mix of foods from both the UK and US.

Staff on the whole were friendly and helpful, with exception of one female member responsible for greeting and seating guests at breakfast;who was extremely rude and would benefit from some basic customers relations training.

Breakfast buffet had a good value for the price.

I stayed for 4 days with my family and it was a pleasant stay the breakfast is absolutely out of this world!

Breakfast at the hotel was very good with a wide selection of hot and cold and fruit.

Rooms were spotlessly clean and modern and with all of the basic comforts you'd hope for, added to which the buffet lunch was excellent - plentiful, well-presented and delivered in an airy and modern dining room.

The bar had a great atmosphere, the room was clean and well laid out and the breakfast was great.

The location was great - about a 10-15 minute walk from City Hall and about a 15-20 minute walk to the train station.

The hotel is near the Victoria Station and the City Hall, just minutes walk from Victoria Shopping Centre.

Location is great, only 5 mins walk from city hall and Royal Avenue.

Its almost adjacent to Europa Bus Center and Great Victoria Street train station and walking distance to the City Center, Belfast City Hall.

Location is ideal to explore Belfast, 5 min walk to City Hall.

Whilst the hotel appeared to be just outside the center - it was a short walk to the City Hall.

The city centre is about 10-15 mins to City Hall/M&S, 20-25 mins to Dunnes.

One of the waitresses with black hair had a face on her every evening we were there.

Hotel is very clean and spacious very close to city centre about a 5/10 min walk and just across the street from train and bus station.

We booked a Premium King Bed room which was spacious, had everything you would need in it, and the bed was comfy.

We had a double bed and a sofa bed, the sofa bed could have been more comfortable

The service was exceptionally poor with no  apology made and food was finally served for half the ladies that arrived at 10.30pm.

Hotel lobby is sleek and modern the rooms could probably do with an upgrade the showers were pretty poor.

although the toilet paper is really poor quality!

I will explain why I find this a poor experience and why I would be reluctant to return. 1.

My expectation based on previous experience was that Holiday Inn hotels were a little tired with over priced poor quality food offerings.

Rooms are good apart from the heating which is poor .

This is the first time we have had a poor visit to Holiday Inn.

If I was nit-picking, I would say that the pressure in the shower was quite poor and the pillows were quite lumpy

although I thought the evening foods was poor menu despite this I had a meal, I was poorly afterwards.

but space to hang and store clothing is poor.

The Air con in rooms was a bit poor as when there in February it was very cold outside,

We were a bit confused and apprehensive, since we had stayed here 2 years ago, when it was The Days Inn Hotel, and the standards were poor.

In Hope Street the loo paper is so thin and poor you need three times as much and it doesn't tear where it's supposed to.

Time from order to delivery was also poor - which makes me think they were short handed.

The only problem we found with the room was that the light from the bedside lamps was poor and with no central light, reading in bed was difficult.

but the quality of the food o m g poor breakfast poor not hot  but both diners not good  staff very pleasant but same old well what canwe do would I stay again !!!!

We never ate at night as it didn't look too friendly and there were much better Places close by.

Josh Lolivia was exceptionally helpful and nothing was to much trouble even gave us great advice re City attractions, Bars and  Restaurants.

We had a lovely meal at the hotel, we sat away from the main area.

The breakfast was very tasty and had great choice.

After check in we went out to the zoo and after a thunder storm there arrived back at the hotel for a quiet meal and drinks.

Plenty of restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk , if you’re on a budget there is a Wetherspoons close by .

The hotel restaurant was the same absolutely delicious meals.

Great restaurants, pubs, and popular landmarks and attractions close by.

Staff are very friendly, particularly the young lad who provided us with a list of pubs to try, and who promoted his city enthusiastically.

The buffet breakfast was excellant, plenty of choice and very tasty.

The room was very very good, the pillows wonderful.

we were upgraded to a gorgeous room with all the little extras to make our stay much more special.

Rooms were lovely and had everything we needed especially the air con.

Accommodation staff were friendly and did a good job with our room.

This means having to wait for the lift when you want to get to your room or to go out.

The good:
First time in this hotel and was really happy with the room (no. 827).

I had my auntie who is wheelchair bound and we had a joining room (through a door inside our bedroom) beside my auntie which was absolutely fantastic to help get her to the loo etc and help her get dressed.

The room was clean, comfortable and just perfect for myself, a solo traveller.

Room was spotless and spacious, location was perfect and the buffet breakfast was amazing and food was fresh.

I am a returning guest staying at this hotel and I can not express how helpful and brilliant the staff are.

We were served by friendly staff, Katy, she was lovely and welcoming  and also by Josh, who took time out to chat about Belfast and was so friendly and made us feel so welcome.

The reception staff, Chloe, was excellent, would have to say went above and beyond to ensure the type of guest room suited my needs and was great at answering any questions I had.

They were incredibly accommodating to our 11 month old son, and did anything they could to help.

Holiday Inn Belfast has the most professional and caring staff.

Shout out to Lynn on reception what a great advert for Holiday Inns this girl is.

Staff were so friendly and gave my kids a voucher so they could pick a treat from the cafe every day, my kids were delighted.

Tony, the Restaurant Manager, made us feel exceptionally welcome and manages a very efficient restaurant which produces great breakfasts.

but I certainly wouldn't have liked crossing Eglantine Road on a winter's morning with rain to go and get my breakfast in the hotel building, ( The annexe had neither bar nor restaurant and had no staff present.)

Breakfast was peaceful, unrushedand really tasty, all staff from  reception to waiting staff very attentive and the hotel is in a great spot.

Breakfast was superb, , the chef carried out our wishes how we wanted our brekkie, many thanks.

We just needed somewhere to have a bite of breakfast.

Stale overcooked breakfast items like hash browns, rashers, and pudding.

but a short 20 minute walk or a taxi (about£5) was easy enough Every member of my party were impressed by everything the rooms, the beds the cleanliness the breakfast and every member of staff were lovely.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent- cannot fault this hotel .

The shower didn’t work (ie no water came out at all), the carpet looked like it had multiple faeces stains on it and the sofa also was covered in staines.

When we arrived back in the room we could get a nasty smell of the carpet.

the carpets and blinds look like they haven't been cleaned in years.

- Stained carpets inside and in the public areas, dirty lamps, and furniture.

Very dated, horrendous carpet and storage heaters (not ideal when one is staying one autumn night, it was cold).

The rooms smelled of cigarette smoke, the carpet was dirty and ripped.

The carpets needed a clean as they were covered in stains and marks.

The furniture and carpets had various stains and I’m sure you could walk into Narnia using the wardrobe as the back was hanging off.

The furnishings were shoddy, the carpets were covered in stains.

The corridors are grubby, in desperate need of a repaint & new carpet.

Brown stains on the beds, Rubbish under the beds, hairs in the shower, dead flies , moths, spider webs , dirty toilets, mould in shower, sticky carpet absolutely disgusting.

After walking down to the apartments I entered the lobby which was very run down, called the lift and when it came out appeared that someone had spilled something over the lift door which ran down to the carpet.

The carpets and suite were disgustingly dirty and the toilets were mouldy at the rim and had not been cleaned to any standard.

Then we entered the room, the first thing that gets you is the carpet.

It doesn't cost much to change the carpet and sofa.

the carpet was so disgusting you could actually lift the dirt off it.

The decor was tired, stains on the beige carpet, fabric on the bed frame fraying and worn.

The cleanliness wasnt quite upto expected standard with a few crumbs still on the carpet and some food and drink stains still on skirting and areas in the kitchen.

but about 25 mins walk from city centre (easy walk)

£5 in a taxi or 25min walk to city centre.

The free parking makes the pleasant walk into the city more than worthwhile as we are used to paying hefty parking charges for city centre stays and the local area provides all the amenities you would need if you don’t want to walk into the city.

It is 10 minutes walking to the Botanic Gardens and a nice large park, 15 minutes to Queen’s University and 25-30 minutes walk to the City Center and Belfast City Hall and there is easy bus transportation to the city center if you prefer which picks up and drops off close to the hotel.

The location was good, about a 30 minute walk to city centre.

We were able to walk to the city center in about 30 minutes, mostly downhill (about 1.6 miles),

Hotel is 35 minutes walk into city centre.

Twenty minute walk into the city and twenty minutes to Boucher Playing Fields where we saw Muse and Biffy Clyro.

but is 30 minute walk to the city centre.

Hotel was perfect for location wise as it was 15min walk from city centre!

It's a 20-25 minute walk to the City Centre.

The location is great if you don't mind a 20-minute walk into the city centre.

Expect to wake up around 2am and again at 7am

On a positive note, the shower is really nice and you're only a 15-20min walk away from the city centre.

Walking to the city centre takes less than 25 minutes.

Sunny evenings in a leafy suburb, middle of Belfast, sitting outside, good food, two minutes from the Museum and the Botanic Gardens, free parking, central location  - what more can you ask for?

First off they have complimentary parking which a lot of city hotels don’t offer.

There was free onsite parking which is always a bonus.

Everything worked as advertised and there was free parking on site.

The hotel had free parking for their guests which was a happy plus on top of their great service.

The location, in a quiet nice neighbourhood, is perfect for our need since we have an expensive car with us and the free parking was a bonus.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the bar served good food and reasonably-priced drinks, and the free parking was a bonus.

but there was invaluable free underground parking.

(There is also free parking which is always a plus) Although the room was spacious I immediatly got a smell of cigarettes when I entered the building which our room was in, and also this smell still lingered when we went into the room.

The free parking was convenient, and the neighborhood was fine.

Free parking (in the back, underground) is a big plus for Belfast.

The location is ideal set of the main road, free parking and clean entrances.

They also have free parking! Would recommend :)

Staff were delightfully friendly and we were made to feel very welcome (one of the waitresses even complimented me on my kilt!).
