The hotel is in a fabulous location for restaurants and attractions.

Service is 5 stars, hotel is 4.5 stars, rooftop bar 5 stars, location 6 stars.

It is well located across from the harbour, it is clean, has lovely and large rooms, had a king size comfortable bed with good pillows and nice linens, and we fully recommend it.

The hotel is in a lovely position near to Port Vell and there are many good restaurants nearby.

The location is fine with a terrific roof top bar overlooking the harbor.

The hotel is in a well maintained old heritage building, in a perfect location between the gothic quarter and the water front/beaches.

The location of this hotel is great - walking distance to beach, on the edge of the Gothic district, close to Picasso museum, Barcelona cathedral, walking distance to La Sagrada (longer walk),  close to Metro trains and tons of shopping,  bars and restaurants.

Others (Placa Espanya to take the train to Montserrat, Parc Guell) are a short and cheap cab ride away.

We took a taxi for La Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell as they are located much farther away.

It was also very easy walking distance from the heart of the Bari Gotic, and near subway stops to head up to Eixample and Parc Guell. The room was smallish

butterflies on the wall that reminded of the mosaics at Parc Guell.

He also provided us with a map and gave us directions on how to take the train there and also how to get to Parc Guell.

You will need to take the metro to visit Parc Guell and La Sagrada Familia (unless you are extremely fit),

The room was clean, bigger than expected, there was champagne waiting for us.

This place feels quite new from the lobby to the room.

Family room was very spacious- 2 proper beds for the children.

Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the people who cleaned the rooms were extremely polite and accommodating.

However the pools are hilariously small and any room located near the service elevator is probably pretty noisy in the morning.

But our room was small, with no view, the window overlooked an alley and had a curtain pulled shut for privacy, which made the whole room dark.

Only disappointment, was the room was a little small for the price paid - not like those pictures.

The hotel is small and only has 30 rooms.

The hotel offered a room for three adults and a fair rate (though the room was a bit small and had limited drawer/closet space.

Our room was very small and felt congested.

If you get a high room and a small tree you are set!!

The rooms are small and very dark with just a small glass door for light and you can see the man in his bed opposite in the run down apartments.

The room we had was tiny and with a view straight into the neighbours flat.

There is music late at night on the roof and noise in the street,

but we were on the first floor, which was a bit noisy from street and sidewalk traffic.

Our room was very nice even facing the busy road and could hear noise,

The only negative would be that the front rooms facing the street can be noisy, however I knew this would be the case,

There was a very narrow balcony with the only room to stand with no seeds or table there was a very narrow balcony with only room to stand with no seats or table However as I mentioned above we could not open this door at night due to the road noise.

However the double glazing blocked completely all sound from the street.

The only thing I would change is to stay on a higher floor next time (I was on the 2nd floor), as the noise from the street below me carried into my room when trying to sleep my last night.

though we overlooked a sometimes busy street we barely heard any street noise with the dual windows.

Our room was unfortunately located above that street which was very noisy at night

Although we were warned that night noise is high in Barcelona we would have wished that our room would have been more protected from street noise which never seemed to stop

We were on the second floor facing the street so it got a little noisy at times.

but the glazing meant that we couldn't hear the noise from the road at all.

If you put two suitcases on the ground then you don't have much space to walk at all. But my biggest issue was the noise from the street (Barcelona is loud everywhere!)

Lower floors I expect suffer from some street noise later as the bars stay open until the early hours

The location for us was perfect.

Ask for a sea view room as the rooms on street can be quite noisy.

.. forward facing rooms get some road noise and unless you are on the top floor, the trees obscure the views of the marina.

Nice balcony/sitting area just outside our door, overlooking the lobby and out at the moored boats.

Large clean rooms, quiet property, beautiful rooftop and wonderful views I cannot say enough good things about this Hotel and its staff.

We had drinks and dinner on the rooftop, enjoying the beautiful views of the Barcelona harbor.

The rooftop bar and dipping pools are amazing with sweeping views of the yacht harbor, ocean in distance, gondolas, etc.

The roof terrace/pool and bar area had great views over the marina definitely worth a visit.

The location was all ready walk to the sea and Gothic quarter!Quarter!!

The hotel staff were excellent, the hotel food was excellent, the hotel itself was excellent and very nice and clean, the hotel rooftop bar was an excellent touch with a great view.

This time we got room no 11 with a nice view to the harbour,

Our waterfront facing room had double pane windows so very quiet at night, even with fun loving groups walking by at all hours.

When it came time to depart, they had happily organized a taxi for us to the airport and even walked us out to the car.

Just 5 minutes walk from las Ramblas and the Metro.

From the moment we arrived, even before we walked in, Rueben came and met us to get our luggage.

The location was perfect, on the edge of the gothic quarter and the marina; 5 minute walk to la rambla and 15 minute walk to many Gaudi attractions.

We enjoyed walking out and wandering the streets for tapas or just people-watching.

The gothic quarter is on your doorstep, Barceloneta is a five minute walk away, as is La Rambla.

Fantastic location for both metro and walking to explore the city, we will definitely return

We loved the location of this hotel as we were able to walk to the waterfront and gothic quarter easily.

The hotel staff couldn’t do more to accommodate my wife and I with a complementary bottle of cava on my birthday, 12:00 check out and being able to leave out baggage until our flight at the end of the day, meaning we didn’t have to walk around Barcelona on our final day with our baggage.

The hotel it’s self was well situated minutes walk from La Rambla, Barcelneta, and Port Vell.

It's very easy to go to and from, walking, by taxi, by bus, or by Metro.

Very helpful and friendly staff; our bags were safely stored and brought already to the room when it was ready (yes, we were definitely too early to arrive in the hotel); excellent location just next to the harbor on the edge of the old city; plenty of public transport in vicinity and easy to walk to key attractions.

I would recommend taking a taxi from Airport (15min $30) instead of bus and train and walk 10min with luggage.

Hotel location is simply great, close to city center as well as only a 20 min walk from the beach.

Price Quality Ratio not sufficient (namely 180 euro per night off season) : e. G. No tea/coffee in room, nor refrigerator.

The only recommendation I would have is a small fridge in the room to keep water cold.

Would say that it would have been nice to have a kettle and small Fridge in the room.

My suggestion would be to have a small refrigerator in each guest room.

Breakfast was not our cup of tea, a lot of sweet.

Only thing stopping this from being a perfect score was a lack of kettle and tea options in the room

Added to the cons, the room doesn’t have any mini refrigerator neither does it a brush for cleaning the toilet.

Also no kettle facilities in room and only shower gel provided was disappointing and I expected more.

I expected a small refrigerator and a kettle in the room.

but be mindful that they don’t include toiletries or drink making facilities & the room does not have a fridge.

The amenities of this hotel are basic and rooms don’t include things like ice buckets, a small fridge, or an iron and ironing board.

The only thing i would say it is missing is a mini fridge, it would have been good to put our bottled water in there

A few down points - no fridge or kettle in the room (though apparently you could hire a kettle from reception) and the rooftop bar was pretty crowded when we visited.

It is only a couple of blocks from La Rambla, just a ways up from the Columbus monument.

The location is fantastic- just a 15 minute bus ride to the nearest beach and a 5 minute walk to the metro station and La Rambla.

Firstly, other reviews say that the location feels a little unsafe,

Unfortunately, the hotel seemed to be the location of the homeless so lots of daily Police presence.

And you need a key to access the front door/reception area of the hotel, so it stops any non-hotel guests from just wandering in.

The location is awful and feels unsafe with children.

A homeless man was camped out directly in front.

The only thing that got me concerned was the location of the hotel because of the neighbourhood it was kind of strange and dangerous until 20:00 it is fine,

It’s walking distance to La Rambla, the Gothic quarter and various metro stations (Paral-lel, Drassanes), so great for sightseeing, 

Negatives:
The street where the hotel is located is quite rough, you can easily see a bunch of homeless people not too far from the hotel entrance, and I didn’t feel safe walking back to the hotel after 8pm.

Very bad location, drug addicts next to hotel, street from center to hotel is shady, dark and you may feel insecure.

We had no trouble at all with the area, there were a few homeless people sleeping near the hotel at night

For those making comments about the area being dodgy or unsafe we just don’t get that at all.

Seemed to be an area of vulnerability as there were some homeless around,

The area directly around the hotel can be a little intimidating in the evenings - it is a dodgy part of town.

however some what basic & a watch out for the neighbourhood.

There are homeless people in the area, as there are in other areas of Barcelona

The major issue with this hotel is the neighbourhood.

The floor makes a lot of noise so the neighbours downstairs can hear everything.

He helped us getting into parc guell when it was almost full and advised us to go see flamenco.

There is a Metro at the end of the street, that will take you to Stada Familier and Parc Guell.

It is on the L3 Metro Line so easy to transfer from Airport Via Sants Estacio and also for visiting the Magic Fountain, Plaza de Catalunya and also for Parc Guell.

We used the tube to get the further afield places like Parc Guell, Camp Nou, Mount Tibidarbo etc.

but it did smell good & maybe we should have done that with our booking - views from top of 11th floor with infinity pool was quite impressive - we hired bikes from round the corner ask at reception & you get a discount card - we paid 10 euros each for the whole day - highlight was Barcelona Nou camp tour & Parc Guell - really fun on bikes too - Barcelona is well catered for cyclists.

The second reason to make sure you stay at this hotel is the rooftop pool and bar - the view of Barcelona from the 11th floor is MAGNIFICENT!

We stayed at the Andante Hotel for our three-night trip to Barcelona because it has two metro stations—Drassanes and Paral•lel—within walking distances.

The hotel is in a great location as well, and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

It was such a great experience   Barcelona is a good experience and the hotel was a great price and Everything was so close to walk to.

Ideally located a 10 minute walk from Las Ramblas, the Andante is a really nice hotel.

Best city break we had location a short walk to la Rambles enjoyed all 3 days.

The hotel was relatively easy to find, just a few minutes walk from 2 different metro stations.

Near enough T o some great areas to walk to .rooftop pool and bar area a great added bonus with superb views of the city.

Easily walked to Opera, later to port for cruise.

We were able to walk to the Cathedral and Palau de la Musica Catalonia.

Easy walking to tourist attractions near by and to hop on/off bus route.

Amazing location, coffee shop 365 nearby, 5 mins walk to metro and las ramblas and the pool area is so amazing for a cool down and rest.

We felt safe walking in all directions from the hotel.

We walked to the Gothic Quarter and explored for hours.

It is set in a great location just a 5 minute walk from Las Ramblas and about 20 minutes from the harbour.
