 - Very bad location, drug addicts next to hotel, street from center to hotel is shady, dark and you may feel insecure.
 - We had no trouble at all with the area, there were a few homeless people sleeping near the hotel at night
 - For those making comments about the area being dodgy or unsafe we just don’t get that at all.
 - Seemed to be an area of vulnerability as there were some homeless around,
 - The area directly around the hotel can be a little intimidating in the evenings - it is a dodgy part of town.

 - Added to the cons, the room doesn’t have any mini refrigerator neither does it a brush for cleaning the toilet.
 - Also no kettle facilities in room and only shower gel provided was disappointing and I expected more.
 - In the rooms there is no kettle
 - I expected a small refrigerator and a kettle in the room.
 - but be mindful that they don’t include toiletries or drink making facilities & the room does not have a fridge.

 - Nearby 2 metrostations (L3 Paral-lel and Drassanes) next to the Ramblas.
 - It is located nearby the Ramblas and just a short walk to the harbour, too.
 - We had a great experience as the hotel was very central and about a 5 minute walk from La Ramblas.
 - Excellent central hotel, 5 mins from Las Ramblas and the marina.

 - But because the hotel caters to families, there were noisy, boisterous children at nearly every table.
 - Their is no soundproof, you can literally hear whatever your neighbors do.
 - My Breakfast experience was so so, simple food and I would like to recommend, should go before 9.00 am to avoid traffic.
 - Have say noise level in this room in 2 floor windows to entrence will be problem for lot of people
 - also there was a utility closet for the housekeeper , that will open the door at all times of the day and night ,and could easily hear banging of the stuff and slamming of the door .

 - but also spartan with empty space that could use more furniture and storage space.
 - Too many people and not enough space.
 - The family room was small with not a lot of space to access your luggage,
 - Barely any space to keep 2 bags.
 - Only gripe could be lack of storage space which was ok for a couple of days stay with cloth hangers and multiple shelf’s.

 - Excellent location, near poblenau ramblas, near llacuna metro and if you like walking only 15 minutes from the beach.
 - Location was convenient to shops and restaurants in an area more laid back and relaxed than the Las Ramblas area of town.
 - but very adequate Make sure you walk to the beach and take a stroll day or night along Ramblas du poblanos.
 - It’s a beautiful city, wander round some side streets off the beaten track, it’s far better than the mayhem of La Ramblas (which we thought was nothing
 - The hotel is a good 35 minute walk to the Ramblas

 - Location is a little away from the usual tourist hot spots
 - Having stayed in numerous Holiday Inn Express hotels, I do accept that they are of a more basic nature, on mainland Europe rarely is a hot option provided at breakfast and this is the case for the Holiday Inn Express Barcelona City 22.
 - No hot items other than the Spanish potato omelette.
 - Noisy, hot
 - Water in shower would go from hot to cold intermittently.

 - You are looking at the start line from the roof top pool.
 - The room is clean, all staff super nice and the rooftop pool amazing.
 - There is a rooftop pool which is amazing with plenty of chairs and a bar to just sit and chill.
 - We didn't get a chance to use the awesome roof top pool since the weather was quite cold

 - Within a couple of minutes walk is the bus stop for the airport bus.
 - Conveniently close to the Sants train station - about a 10min walk.
 - but did not bother, facilities ( walking tour was a good ) when I go back to Barcelona will be my first choice Service wise ( front office team ) might be a bit politer especially while they are talking on the phone but all good
 - Rooftop area - we wanted to chill out in the sun after a long day of walking

 - There is a LOT of noise from the metro and the road, as well as from the hall and elevator.
 - The only down side was my room was near the road so I could hear the traffic at night,
 - Bit of noise die to traffic,
 - The street is a little bit noisy if you are not used to,

 - Located in the center near Plaza Espanya, metro really close.
 - Good location, just a few metro stops from Las Rambla and close to the Plaza D’Spain metro station.
 - Prime location at Plaza Espanya, clean rooms, very reasonably priced & excellent value With quality better than most 3 star hotels ^ would be perfect were it not for the impossible to work out light controls & shower as mentioned by several previously.

 - The wall between sleeping room y bathroom is made from the glas.

 - The pillows are not good and the light is difficult to manage.
 - But the downside is on the details, knobs had lime, corrosion, the toilet didn't have a good lighting.
 - Speaking of lights.
 - Only little problem was that the lighting was unusual and the controls were difficult to work
 - but the consoles were not identical and even reading the lighting instruction card had us bemused.

 - The pillows were like lumpy marshmallows which didn't help me sleep.
 - I don't know many people who, while their traveling partner is sleeping, want to take a shower in full view.
 - Bad points: The rooms closest to the street are subject to intense street noise, it is hard to sleep.
 - However, it had an awful noise coming from the ceiling (the above flor is where the swimming poo seats) and it was laud enough to not be able to sleep at night.
