 - I would like to say thank you to Silvia,Cindy,Joao,Marvan and all the staff from the club lounge as well as Elena a wonderful front of the house manager.
 - We were staying in a Club Room which meant we had access to the Club Lounge on level 33.
 - Especially the staff in the club lounge.
 - Always a great stay at the Arts - Ritz Carlton do a great job of service and the club lounge is one of the best in Europe with amazing views from a triple height ceiling.

 - The location is next to the old olympic village and a 10 minute cab ride into town or a lovely 30 minute walk along the beach area.
 - The location on the beach made a nice change for us and the walk into Barceloneta and Port Vell, which is approx 20 mins is really easy and felt very safe along the beach.
 - We walked into the Gothic or Born quarters (about 1.25 miles away) daily and occasionally grabbed an Uber for the return (around 8 Euro).
 - About 10 minutes walk to the Born area and beside the Barceloneta.
 - but a easy walk, which we enjoy walking.

 - But fool me once/shame on me for ordering a turkey sandwich (in honor of Thanksgiving Day being celebrated back home) without asking the price (it is not on the menu).
 - .but whoever designd the hotel forgot to factor in window cleaing - we had difficulty seeing out our window For an expensive breakfast, it is served in a cavernous room, reminiscent of a works canteen.
 - but very expensive and the portions are tiny.
 - Additionally breakfast is very expensive, $50 per person so recommend an inclusive rate.
 - The carpet throughout, particularly the first floor lifts are third world, like shocking to see carpet like that… Overall the hotel needs to replace some worn out elements, hardly expensive and put basic things in the room.

 - But, we emerged from the Pl Cataluyna subway station and managed to orient ourselves for the fairly easy walk to the H10.
 - The location is fantastic, 5 minute walk from Placa Catalunya, which is where we took the Aerobus to the airport.
 - Right next to a metro station and we could walk to so many sights.

 - but it was also very noisy.
 - The hotel would be perfect if only some better soundproofing and a couple of extra towel hooks in the bathroom.
 - The biggest issue was the noise from the street.
 - Only complain is that walls are very thin and you can hear everything that is going on in corridors.
 - but not too close to the loud Rambla.

 - I can also recommend the hop on hop off bus which covers all areas and sights.
 - Hop-on-hop-off bus routes can be picked up on Plaça de Catalunya as can the very good Aerobus service to the El Prat Airport and taxis are easily accessible.
 - We wanted to be a realistic stroll from Placa de Catalunya as we were going to be using the Open Top Hop on Hop off buses to tour around Barcelona and it was equally convenient for La Rambla and the Gothic Cathedral.
 - The buses including the hop on hop off buses were walking distance.
 - This hotel is amazing, the local is right in the middle of the main square, la ramble, the port and all bus routes.

 - The walls are so thin that I could hear the person in the next room snoring and flushing their toilet and all of the doors had to be slammed for them to close properly which is not great in the middle of the night.
 - A letter under the door or a call to the room to advise us of this protest would have meant that the end of our stay was not so stressful.
 - Minus point was e noise from our next door neighbours
 - we were in room 225 and all the rooms close to us, so about 10, every door that was opened closed loudly so when the first person got up to shower ect, everyone would have been awake.
 - From 11pm until 3am they kept on going to one room to another slamming the doors behind them.

 - Only thing I hated the most was lack of power sockets in the room.
 - If there's one suggestion or MUST Have : please make sure there's sockets next to the beds to plug smartphone and or other chargers as there was only 1 socket in the room.
 - My only small criticism about the room would be the electric sockets, they could be better placed by the sides of the beds
 - but the air conditioner not functioning properly.and only one available plug in room to charge electronics, room 214.
 - however there was no power outlet close to the bed and the walls seemed quite thin so I was woken up the neighbours every morning.

 - - Breakfast at the hotel is expensive (24 Euros),
 - I mean - it is a bit difficult to rate anything in Barcelona under 5 stars!
 - Only issue I had found was breakfast to be so expensive.
 - but any luggages and toll fee will be applied as additional charges.
 - Only complaints: on the weekends, housekeeping was quite late in the afternoon, and the in-house laundering was exorbitantly expensive.
