It was also perfectly located for us in the Exiemple area of town, a pleasant and safe area close to some fabulous shops and Gaudi's Casa Batllo house and other architectural attractions.

Recommended places to visit are Parc Guell (monument park and Gaudi's house), Casa Batllo, Montjuic and the cable car, Casa Musica, the Palau Nacional and Font Magica, a boat trip around the harbour and. .

Excellent location nearby Urgell metro station and "AeroBus" bus stop, within walking distance (2 km) of tourist attractions like Font Magica de Montjuïc, La Rambla and Gaudi's Casa Batllo. The breakfast is a bit expensive compared to the breakfast options in the local pubs and pastry shops,

Spot on location, in walking distance of most things including La Rambla, Barri Gothic, Casa Batllo, the list goes on!

Could also walk to some of Gaudi’s works, like Casa Batllo and La Pedrera.

Directly next to a Metro station and within a 15 minute stroll of many of Barcelona's main attractions this hotel was a very good choice .

The hotel is modern, clean, quiet, comfortable and just a few steps from a metro station that gives access to all the main tourist sites within 5 to about 30 minutes.

Selected this hotel because it is right beside Urgell Metro station and near to Aerobus stop for convenience.

This is a modern, designer hotel which is on a major avenue called the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and very close to the Urgell metro station.

The location is also great, as the metro station is just outside the hotel.

Metro station just a few steps away and on good walking distance to the best shopping areas of the city.

The metro station Urgell L1 is at 20 meters distance from the entrance, which makes it extremely easy to visit the city.

The hotel is central and near metro station L1 Urgell so convenience is a plus.

One main advantage, the Urgell metro station (L1) is directly in front of the hotel, a bus stop is just round corner.

Right next to the metro station along with several bars and restaurants.

The location of the hotel was great, it was right by the metro station, plenty of restaurants and not far from the clothing stores.

There is also the Urgel Metro station, almost right next to the hotel.

The hotel is located near the Metro station giving the visitor easy access to the entire city.

- Additionally close to the Metro station and 10-15 minutes walk to the historic city center.

Excellent location just outside Urgell Metro station on Gran via de les courts and walking distance from Placa de Catalunya and La Rambla.

If you don´t mind walking a little bit, many places of interest can be reached by foot like: Placa l'Universitad, the Gaudi buildings (Casa Batillo and Casa.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a terrace with a view of the city.

The sheets, pillow, and bed were very comfortable and smelled very clean.

The hotel theme is modern, albeit a bit dark in places.

but light still comes through and around these so if (like me) you like a completely dark room you will notice this.

buttons, hot/warm lighting, and combinations (if you arrive tired and it’s too frustrating, remove the key card and it goes dark).

but lighting made the halls and room quite dark.

Decor was dark and corridors were unsettling as they are so dark.

Interior deco is a little dark, like a night club.

My only complaints are the shower has a small glass partition that gets water all over the floor and the room can be a bit dark.

We booked a standard double room and it was a bit dark as the hotel is a high-rise building and there is not much natural light

The only let down was how dark the rooms were and sometimes the room smelt unpleasant.

Decor is minimalist and contemporary in neutral, dark colors.

The room was extremely spacious unlike most city-break-style hotels.

The room is my main concern specially the cleaning and quality of lighting.

The room was clean and very roomy albeit we booked the one with the terrace to give us more room for our bikes.

We’d seen how many of the hotels had thefts from their receptions so this was really important to us.

Nice ultra-modern hotel with responsive front desk and in a convenient amd location.

On one hand, the reception staff did not seem genuinely concerned about customer needs, even when suitable rooms were available.

Staff were great, both at the front desk (Roberto was exceptionally helpful) and in the breakfast area.

Then only a 15 mins walk from the top of Las Ramblas.

Location was about a 30 min walk from most things such as the Cathedral and Barceloneta beach

We felt safe and were walking around town at 1 am.

As it turned out, it’s fun to walk around in Barcelona.

10 minute walk to the nearest tourist bus stop, beside the metro and just over the road to the Gothic Quarter.

A supermarket directly next door, and numerous small bars offering food within a couple of minutes walk.

Only 25 minutes on the bus from Barcelona airport, which drops you a few minutes walk from the hotel.

The location is good and if you don't mind a 30 minute walk, most of the main attractions in Barcelona are an easy walking distance.

I personally tried temporarily closing the window tightly, and I felt a significant reduction in the noise.

The only thing to complain about is that you can not turn off the lights themselves in the window which are switched on and off automatically.

Only things that would make this hotel the best would be to put blinds or a curtain on the shower glass wall, as in the bedroom you can see straight into the shower, as there is no privacy which wasn’t the best.

Also noted in other reviews, it was a bit irritating not being able to amend the blinds between the window panes.

Stylish hotel located within a walking distance from many major landmarks ( cathedral is only a short stroll away, Rambla is literally at the doorsteps and Casa Batllo is 25 minutes of enjoyable walk away ).

Hotel took action to resolve an issue with a business located behind the hotel- Casa del Moledino (sp?).

It is locatd on a 10 minute walk from the Rambla and an leisurely hour walk from places like the Sagrada Familila, La Pegrada Casa Batlo and the Passeig Gracia.Musee Picasso in the old center is located a twenty minute walk and worthwhile visiting, also provbides one the poortunity to see the charming pld city, so much different from the more spatious part of Barcalenona like the Passeig Gracia.

The hotel is in a fabulous location for restaurants and attractions.

Service is 5 stars, hotel is 4.5 stars, rooftop bar 5 stars, location 6 stars.

It is well located across from the harbour, it is clean, has lovely and large rooms, had a king size comfortable bed with good pillows and nice linens, and we fully recommend it.

The hotel is in a lovely position near to Port Vell and there are many good restaurants nearby.

The location is fine with a terrific roof top bar overlooking the harbor.
