- Friendly service and a great lobby, just steps away from shopping and restaurants.
- Staff were friendly and courteous - the night porter even letting us in with a smile well past midnight.
- I want to highlight the staff, they are not only very friendly
- All the staff are very friendly and helpful the hotel is very clean.
- All of them had a friendly smile and couldn’t do enough to help.

- We didn’t use the pool as too cold
- but a little too cold in January lol.
load more ... - Another nice touch is the free glass of wine and selection of cheese in the evening.
- Free wine and cheese was a nice touch too.
- We enjoyed a few drinks in the Hotel bar, and loved the idea of the cheese and wine at 5pm.
- The complimentary wine and cheese at 17:00 each day was wonderful.
- Your second course is an assortment of hot and cold dishes that include locals meats & cheeses that are delightful.
load more ... - Take the walking tour which the hotel offers.
- Wednesday evening is a Free Gothic Quarter walking tour by hotel.
- They offer a complimentary walking guided tour in English if the old city and if you visit in December the artisanal Christmas fair is next to hotel.
- Added bonuses such as free walking tours and happy hour at the bar was a nice surprise.
- We did the evening walk tour which was free and it was really informative about about the history close to the hotel and cathedral.
load more ... - From the second you walk in you can see it is a elegant, modern and clean hotel.
- It was a good walk to the beach, close to the airport bus, a good walk to the Sagrada Familia and close to numerous dining options.
- The bar in the lobby was a welcome break from all the walking we did.
- It is an easy walk to Las Ramblas the main walkway in Barcelona.
- Mercado Boqueria and Merkat Santa Caterina (recommend the former by far) are just a short walk away as well.
load more ... - As a mostly US and Northern Europe traveler I was unaware you had to place your hotel key card in a slot to get electricity!
- You also need one of those travel adapters to charge your devices (no usb charging ports in the room).
- When we asked for them, there is an additional charge added to the room.
- If I had not reviewed my credit card transcript this would not have been noticed, and

- First off, the restaurant was closed.
- but if we wanted to lock it whilst inside, it would not click closed and lock.
- The only minor negative and this is purely my personal perspective, the residents bar closed at midnight regardless of whether you wanted another drink, considering the Spanish culture for dining later, I was surprised by this.
- You could hear the dust carts early mornings in the street even with the windows closed.
load more ... - There is a fridge to put your beer and water in.

- When we chatted with reception again, a woman instructed me to just use the shower and let the water run into the bath and fill it up that way???
- no running water.
- we got only one bottle of complimentary water during our entire stay, something i will always find strange.
load more ... - Some of our neighbors continued the party in their room and it would echo down the halls.
- but on our last night we did have very noisy Americans who woke us up chatting away as they went along the corridor to their rooms - just part of staying in a hotel I guess.
- As a smaller hotel it is compact with no walking corridors to find your room from reception.
- Our floor, level 3 had a bad odour hanging around in the corridor.
- The room next to us has a leak and there was a giant wet spot on the carpet in the hallway and the wall was sort of disintegrating.
