 - but we had an inside( but really outside) patio which was nice to be able to sit out and extended the size of the room.
 - Staff v helpful, nice touch is the lemon and mint infused cool water dispensers just inside the main door.
 - The inside rooms are nice, some of them have a private little terrace to get some fresh air.
 - We had a club-level room in this beautiful, modern hotel inside a classic exterior building.

 - The hotel is in a perfect location to walk almost anywhere in the city!
 - The hotel is quiet even for being on a major street, it is a about 15-20 minute walk to the old city, quite do-able.
 - La rambla was a 10 minute walk away so the whole city was easily accessible from our base.
 - When you’re on vacation, you’re basically going to sleep there after a long day of exploring the city and walking.

 - and seriously that's disturbing and you cant have some sound sleep.
 - but even I was woken by other people's conversations, alarm clocks and hair dryers.
 - I would love to hear if anybody has ever come across this practice elsewhere
 - Rooms facing the street can still get a quite bit of street noise even on the fifth floor, and walls are relatively thin, which may be a problem for light sleepers.
 - - Noisy room (we've heard all our neighbors on the corridor) - The cleaning trolley was continuously camping next to our room - Unstable, slow wifi

 - Marvelous historical building, directly on the rambla, 2 minutes walking from the metro station, the room for four was very comfortable and spacious.
 - Pros: - The location is really great: within a 2 minutes walk of La Boqueria market, Plaça Reial and Liceu metro station and a 10 minutes walk of Plaça Catalunya and Barrio Gothic.
 - The hotel is located 2 minutes away from Liceu metro station which was super helpful and i think it is what mostly gives the hotel an advantage.
 - This hotel is located just a few minutes walk from Liceu metro station on La Rambla.
 - I wasn't bothered about not having a good view(we backed onto the Police station backyard), we weren't staying there to look out of the windows.

 - Only real downside was the metro under the hotel as its frequent & you hear & feel it pass!
 - but noisy, cold & smelly!
 - And worst nightmare, the ventilation in the bathroom ran all the time so no way of getting a quit sleep @ night without earplugs.
 - There was a dreadful smell from the bathroom drains, a very big leak in the hallway, which maintenance began taking down walls to fix and banging through the night, which kept us awake.
 - but all in all, i would not stay here again because of the street noise.

 - We have just returned from a 4 night break at the Oriente Atrium Hotel on a bed & breakfast basis.
 - Usual buffet (in terrific first floor atrium room with brilliant light which feels vast).
 - However it was wonderful to open the windows onto a Juliet balcony and be part of what was going on outside.Breakfast room was an atrium style, very light and airy and food more than adequate.
