This has a great fitness centre and food was excellent for an all-inclusive.

Lastly, eventhough  this is an all inclusive resort the workers DEFINITELY be fishing for those tips.

It was my first time in Cancún and at an all inclusive.

This was our first all-inclusive and the experience was a 10 out of 10.

Cons: On top ofl the HIGH all-inclusive fee, you must shell out more $ for prime cabanas or lounge chairs with umbrellas at pool and on beach.

The weather has been great, the service is top-notch, the food is the best that we have had in any all-inclusive or regular hotel.

It is all inclusive and the main food option is Spices, the large buffet-style restaurant.

This time around my sister and I tried the Chef’s Plate which is a curated 6 course meal and isn’t part of the all-inclusive package.

The food is above average for an all inclusive hotels and the entertainment is the best thing.

The once beautiful pool fountain waterfall feature is gone as is the stone bridge, all very lovely and unique….all disappeared.

I insisted that we should not be charged and reluctantly they 'waived' the additional fee for us.

Which tells me they're probably not getting paid what they deserve.

They don’t provide them anymore and charge $12 USD for a metal straw.

The spa - They were running a promotion to get an 80 minute massage at the price for a 50 minute so I took advantage of it plus they added on Hydrotherapy treatment.

As I explained to him a bunch of people were upset they couldn’t sit in or by the pool unless they paid $80 for a cabana each day (which came with 2 loungers in the pool) As Mr.Rojas explained to me this money grab was put in place by previous management

There is also entertainment every day and night, with a range of shows and classes at no extra cost.

The only downsides of our stay were the terrible sales pitch on check in, super misleading and time wasting. He promised a three minute chat to provide us our welcome package, turned into a 15 minute guilt trip to sign up for a 90 minute sales pitch saying "he wouldn't get paid if we didn't attend."

And far too many hidden fees, especially for things which should have been included (ex: a chair by the pool or on the beach, a seat to watch the nightly entertainment , etc. ).

Once those are taken, you either have to pay for a chair or cabana, or find a place to store your stuff.

but not if I could find something close to price.

He told me if I paid him I could sit there.

Little if any consideration for the guests unless you want to pay extra as in the seating around the pool and at the beach.

This is additional cost and is not cheap.

though it's an all inclusive, there are plenty of things they want you to pay an extra charge for so just stick to the normal menus and you'll be fine!

but the only way you could get a poolside chair is if you pay money for a cabana.

Consistent high quality food and beverage choices, friendly professional staff who are eager to assist you and make the most of your stay.

The hibachi dinner is fun and books up quickly.

The food was excellent and I’d recommend trying the Chefs Plate.

We did the dinner on the beach and it was amazing.

the hotel is beautiful, restaurants amazing, pool incredible and beach breathtaking.

We always enjoyed the buffet in Spice, given our food limitations.

The food was very good, especially the breakfast.

The culinary delights at the resort are truly remarkable, offering a diverse and delicious menu.

We rented cabanas on two days, and we also had a romantic dinner by the water.

Pools and beach were lovely, and food was tasty.

Building is beautiful, food is great, staff good and beach is perfect.

The shows were great, and with one exception, so was the food.

The location is in walking distance to luxury shopping and several quality restaurants.

Restaurants ( especially the one facing the beach) are good.

The white party, the Cabernet show, karaoke and the dj’s!

High quality and entertaining evening shows.

My personal favorite was the Mexican Night, and the Michael Jackson night!

The hosted a variety of great entertainment from day activities to spectacular shows.

The evening shows were okay - neither too good nor bad.

They also offered nightly entertainment and a great beach with amenities.

Thank you for the incredible food, unbelievably kind customer service, all the work and effort that went into to Christmas show and buffets.

We also loved all the entertainment every evening of our stay.

The entertainment team was a top-notch - especially Pepe and Diana who are AWESOME resident fitness instructors.

Hotel offers non-stop entertainment and rooms are tended to constantly.

We were also pleasantly surprised by the evening shows.

The evening shows are superb--I have been to many different resorts and this one had the best shows I have ever seen.

There are shows every night, plus fitness classes, a gym & lots of activities/parties.

While there are upgraded dinner options, spa services and cabanas available, they are not high pressure sales.

Note: I HIGHLY recommend Lucero is you book a massage. Incredible!!!

We also took advantage of their spa twice, which was so relaxing.

The hotel and grounds were kept impeccably clean and the amenities, eg: fitness center and classes and the spa were the icing on the cake.

We went to the spa- very unique & again staff are unbelievable.

Manuel, Jessica, Eloisa from the Spa -- thank you for the massages and service.

I’d like to particularly commend Ivan, David, Isal, Sergio and Humberto in the bar & pool area, Martha in the spa and Ambassador team Ingrid, Ana, Monica, Paulina.

The spa experience was phenomenal and the beach was very well kept and pretty would definitely recommend a stay here.

Special kudos to some staffs who are really great asset to the team, Cesar Banron at Marie Marie, Nohemi at zen Spa, Abimael at the lounge space.

Gladys, Elisa, and Alejandro at the Zen spa made our time so relaxing.

The service and staff members are so amazing, especially Dianna (pilates/water aerobics instructor), Jose (who works in the gym), Jonathan (activities coordinator), Roberto (waiter at Spice), Ernesto (bartender at The Den cocktail bar), Arturo and Valdemar (waiters at Punta Vista), Francisco (Asiana hibachi chef), and Williams and Alejandro (who worked in the spa).

And of course, can’t forget to mention the spa staff who made for a most relaxing time to include Lucero, Martha, and Bertha.

The rooms were perfect, the view was amazing, food and drinks were delicious.

This is a gorgeous resort and all of the rooms have a fantastic ocean front view.

We sat at the edge of the table overlooking the ocean.

As Hyatt Globalists we travel often and in our view, the Hyatt Zilara Cancún stands out among the best in our minds and we will be back.

The South Gazebo by the beach overlooking the beautiful ocean was perfect for my early morning Yoga class and my Sunset Yoga class at the Sky Gym Terrace overlooking the lagoon was so peaceful with incredible sunsets and the best way to set you up for a lovely dinner and evening of entertainment!

but it in no way minimized our experience of a quiet beachfront room with an amazing view.

If more than two people got in, the lift would alarm so often people had to get out to enable the lift to move!

No issue with the lifts other than at busy times you might have to wait for a bit.

Only two of the four lifts were operational last year and waiting times were horrendous!

👎🏼 Lifts could be temperamental, and take a while to arrive at busy times.

The two working lifts are terribly slow, slightly frustrating when guests used them to go up or down one or two floors!

Most the time we have been here only 2 of the 4 lifts have been working, which meant waiting time were ridiculously long.

but someone who would be reliant on lifts should know this!

Our room was on the fourth floor and we made a conscious decision before arriving to use the stairs each time and avoid the lifts to keep ourselves fit.

The lifts were an absolute nightmare, one takes 3 attempts to close, the weight limits exceed randomly.

What can I say about the lifts that has not been already said they are slow to say the least!

In 14 nights there was around 3 days max where the lifts were being worked on.

Because of this, many people are left waiting queuing for the lifts or forced to use the stairs.

We were slightly concerned about the negative reviews we'd read recently so will quickly address them; The lifts are a pain, there's no denying that.

The lifts - what can I say that hasn't been said already.

In fact, guests were starting to crack jokes about those lifts.

The Lifts are terrible at peak times and only 2 in working order for the size of the hotel is ridiculous.

The room key’s constantly needed resetting, which can be a pain coupled with no lifts to trundle up and down to reception.

although the lift engineers are currently working on the issue, it’s taking far too long. 2.

Additionally the lifts had a mind of their own, would just go straight past people waiting or doors open and close about five times before taking off.

Food was great with plenty of choice at breakfast even cava wine and evening meals with show cooking and a chocolate fountain.

The hotel staff are, truely, the best I have ever experienced in many years of holiday hotels.

The hotel is screaming for outdoor dining for breakfast and on an evening - it’s what most of us like when on holiday

By far the best holiday hotel food we have eaten in Europe.

Had been to lots of places on Tenerife on our first visit almost 10 years ago, so I just wanted a peaceful spot to enjoy a break away.

An honest review 
Came back November 3 after spending 10 day’s holiday , the staff work really hard and nothing is too much trouble.

Had a really relaxing holiday at this hotel towards the end of September.

but I did have a great holiday hence the 4, for the price paid.

but overall they all worked hard and it didn't spoil our holiday.

Just back from a weeks holiday at this wonderful hotel.

But no-one likes a mega fuss whilst on holiday.

We were looking for a relaxing week break in the sun and this is exactly what we got.

I can honestly say that if you are looking for a relaxed chilled holiday away from the hustle and bustle of a main resort then this is for you.

We have been on many Tui holidays in the past, Sensimar and Sensatori and have experienced a fantastic standard of hotel, food and accommodation

When you go on a holiday you can accept a few niggles here and there.

Lovely relaxing break at Tui Blue Los Gigantes .

There are always plenty of sunbeds and there a few quests that like to bag the same bed for the whole time of their  holiday so if you want the same beds as them get up early , if not don’t worry you will find a sunbed somewhere on the holiday complex .

but it really added to the holiday mood for us.

One on Christmas eve near pool area whereby free glasses of Cava were provided.

Plenty of sunbeds around a very clean pool area.

You could easily get one and sometimes we had the quiet pool area to ourselves.

Our room faced the pool area which meant we could enjoy the night time entertainment from our balcony.

The pool area is spotless and well kept the floor can be a bit slippery, wear something on your feet .

Some areas of the pool are in shade early on and again different areas are shaded later.

Evening entertainment for that hotel was ok, the two young girls on reception very nice, and helpful pool area seemed nice, quite pool was better

The pool areas are beautiful and the views from the hotel of both the cliffs and the sea and marina are lovely.

Nice cheap supermarket just right and across the road from the hotel’s reception, no issues bringing your own cold drinks down to the pool area plastic bottles only.

The pool area is fabulous and we never had a problem getting a sunbed.

Pool area and pool bar excellent with plenty of sun beds available.

It is disappointing to see so many poor reviews on here.

The food is of very poor quality, with natural juices from dispensers and awful coffee.

Just returned from a stay at this hotel, things to improve on:

Some areas in the hotel need a little updating looking very tired
Shower cubicles in room especially need an upgrade
Toilet privacy poor as your sat in a glass cubicle 

Apart from that room spacious and clean, paid a little extra for sea view room well worth it.

The room was on the sixth floor overlooking the sea , fabulous view and highly recommended 👍 last year being on the sixth floor was a bit of a bind due to  the extremely poor operation of the Lifts!

but don’t expect anything else it’s very poor.

The rooms are average with poor beds (noisy and uneven springs).

Activities were regularly cancelled when the two staff just did not turn up, leaving a number of customers upset and creating a poor impression of the brand.

We arrived after midnight and were offered a poor cold meal wrapped in cling film which we declined.

It’s overpriced, loud outside at night terrible food all round at the buffet and a bottle of water at the pool bar costs  €2.40  as opposed to €0.57 at the shop across the road the air con was poor and very loud, the door had a gap at the bottom which let a lot of light in at night from the hallway when trying to sleep.

I was really concerned about my visit to this hotel after reading poor reviews.

If you want a daybed book when you arrive as availability is poor.

Downsides are:- confusion at the airport on arrival with poor organisation from the Tui reps.only two lifts were working in the hotelCarnival kept us awake until 3am for three nights..We wouldn’t have booked if we had known about this beforehand.Underhand from Tui

Artists were very poor quality, no opportunity to dance so if you like dancing forget it.

The buffet food was poor quality and  not very warm either.

Monday evening we were going to venture down to get something to eat as we had not eaten in 2 days when a poor guest threw up towards the entrance to the restaurant, the sick on the floor was quickly covered by chairs by one of the waitresses.

Customer service poor they knew what was going on, my husband had to go down to dinner on his own.

Now the less positives:

The internet connection was poor and kept dropping out and the entertainment was average, with the exception of the flamenco dancer and the operatic duo.

Second was on Christmas day outside the restaurant whereby free beer, cava and canapés were served.

Just british food at the breakfast nothing spanish or canarian.

The best thing about this hotel is the food.

Never fails to deliver the goods,been to los gigantes tui blue more times than i care to mention, i my experience of traveling, this is the best hotel,, ever,, staff, food, pools.

Food was excellent with numerous choices catering for all tastes and dietary needs.

Was spoken to rudely and aggressively by the hotel Tui Rep upon entering the restaurant as
