 - Also, this hotel is located on a busy street (5 lanes of busy traffic), so there is a bit of street noise.
 - though Arago is a busy street, the room must have been soundproofed; I didn't hear any traffic noise once the sliding glass door was closed.

 - Would recommend this hotel to anyone, ideal location no further than a 30 min walk from any of the main spots in Barcelona, rooms very clean and staff very polite, the waiter at the rooftop pool Nico was also very helpful, will certainly be coming back!

 - We were upgraded to a small suite and it had plenty of space for us, and a great terrace.

 - When the patio door was closed, it completely muffled the sound - we were never disturbed by sound coming from other guests or from outside.
 - I would not recommend a room towards the patio where you have no view at all.
 - but again the double glazed patio door and window ensured there was no traffic noise whatsoever.

 - but very expensive and the portions are tiny.

 - The carpet throughout, particularly the first floor lifts are third world, like shocking to see carpet like that… Overall the hotel needs to replace some worn out elements, hardly expensive and put basic things in the room.

 - Our second stay in Barcelona, we opted to be by the marina and chose Hotel Arts Barcelona which used to be a Ritz Carlton.
 - The location of the hotel was fantastic in the marina and surrounded by many restaurants and free walking areas.
 - We ate in the Marina restaurant and the Arola Restaurant, both of which were excellent, particularly enjoyed the tapas!

 - Plus it Smelled so bad ( cigarette), the table was stained and not clean and the bed was full of feather.

 - it took them hoalf a day and cost me USD150 for international roaming before they had put down the unique serial number of my iphone and then they switched it on somehow> 8. the bathroom was a disfunctional as the rest of the room.

 - the only gripe: my air conditioning was broken and the first room too hot.
 - The AC was okay, a bit on the warm side and after 2 nights we were starting to get claustrophobic with the luggage and toiletry bags piled up around the room.
 - The only downfall about this hotel was our room (311) didn’t have very strong air con so we ended up having to sleep with the window open and a wet flannel on our heads.
 - I think they really need to focus on cleaning and fix the air con.
 - Air conditioning was not turned on and the shower was very difficult to operate.

 - This is a lovely hotel mixed with modern and old themes and is situated in a nice area that has a metro just a 5 min walk away.

 - The hotel is centrally located in the city and close to Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, two amazing buildings you should not miss if you are in town.
 - but the hotel is in a great location for sightseeing, just a few minutes walk from a lot of tourist haunts including Placa de Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia, La Rambla, Casa Batllo etc.

 - Also coming from the airport, we took the Aerobus, which leaves you at Plaza Catalunya, just 3 or 4 blocks from the hotel.

 - This boutique hotel is just a couple blocks from the city center where all the tourist buses are located.

 - The roof terrace was very nice with wonderful views over the city and the nearby cathedral, a perfect spot for a drink or just to grab some sunshine and then cool off in the pool.
