Hotel took action to resolve an issue with a business located behind the hotel- Casa del Moledino (sp?).

It is locatd on a 10 minute walk from the Rambla and an leisurely hour walk from places like the Sagrada Familila, La Pegrada Casa Batlo and the Passeig Gracia.Musee Picasso in the old center is located a twenty minute walk and worthwhile visiting, also provbides one the poortunity to see the charming pld city, so much different from the more spatious part of Barcalenona like the Passeig Gracia.

The hotel is in a fabulous location for restaurants and attractions.

Service is 5 stars, hotel is 4.5 stars, rooftop bar 5 stars, location 6 stars.

It is well located across from the harbour, it is clean, has lovely and large rooms, had a king size comfortable bed with good pillows and nice linens, and we fully recommend it.

The hotel is in a lovely position near to Port Vell and there are many good restaurants nearby.

The location is fine with a terrific roof top bar overlooking the harbor.

The hotel is in a well maintained old heritage building, in a perfect location between the gothic quarter and the water front/beaches.

The location of this hotel is great - walking distance to beach, on the edge of the Gothic district, close to Picasso museum, Barcelona cathedral, walking distance to La Sagrada (longer walk),  close to Metro trains and tons of shopping,  bars and restaurants.

This place feels quite new from the lobby to the room.

Family room was very spacious- 2 proper beds for the children.

Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the people who cleaned the rooms were extremely polite and accommodating.

However the pools are hilariously small and any room located near the service elevator is probably pretty noisy in the morning.

But our room was small, with no view, the window overlooked an alley and had a curtain pulled shut for privacy, which made the whole room dark.

Only disappointment, was the room was a little small for the price paid - not like those pictures.

The hotel is small and only has 30 rooms.

The hotel offered a room for three adults and a fair rate (though the room was a bit small and had limited drawer/closet space.

Our room was very small and felt congested.

If you get a high room and a small tree you are set!!

The rooms are small and very dark with just a small glass door for light and you can see the man in his bed opposite in the run down apartments.

The room we had was tiny and with a view straight into the neighbours flat.

Staff was all smiles and very friendly and helpful.

As far as arriving and departing, we were able to leave our bags with the concierge when we arrived far too early to check in.

Staff was always at hand to help with luggage , hail a taxi , help with getting around the city !

The reception staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The hotel is great particularly the staff.

We were so warmly greeted by Emilio and during our four days stay, he was a continual resource.

Breakfast was delightful- both attendants were wonderfully helpful.

The reception team are exceptional, especially Enrico, who went above and beyond to make our stay an absolute pleasure.

Immediately on arrival, we were welcomed by Ruben and Mar.

There is music late at night on the roof and noise in the street,

but we were on the first floor, which was a bit noisy from street and sidewalk traffic.

Our room was very nice even facing the busy road and could hear noise,

The only negative would be that the front rooms facing the street can be noisy, however I knew this would be the case,

There was a very narrow balcony with the only room to stand with no seeds or table there was a very narrow balcony with only room to stand with no seats or table However as I mentioned above we could not open this door at night due to the road noise.

However the double glazing blocked completely all sound from the street.

The only thing I would change is to stay on a higher floor next time (I was on the 2nd floor), as the noise from the street below me carried into my room when trying to sleep my last night.

though we overlooked a sometimes busy street we barely heard any street noise with the dual windows.

Our room was unfortunately located above that street which was very noisy at night

Although we were warned that night noise is high in Barcelona we would have wished that our room would have been more protected from street noise which never seemed to stop

We were on the second floor facing the street so it got a little noisy at times.

but the glazing meant that we couldn't hear the noise from the road at all.

If you put two suitcases on the ground then you don't have much space to walk at all. But my biggest issue was the noise from the street (Barcelona is loud everywhere!)

Lower floors I expect suffer from some street noise later as the bars stay open until the early hours

The location for us was perfect.

Ask for a sea view room as the rooms on street can be quite noisy.

.. forward facing rooms get some road noise and unless you are on the top floor, the trees obscure the views of the marina.

Nice balcony/sitting area just outside our door, overlooking the lobby and out at the moored boats.

Large clean rooms, quiet property, beautiful rooftop and wonderful views I cannot say enough good things about this Hotel and its staff.

We had drinks and dinner on the rooftop, enjoying the beautiful views of the Barcelona harbor.

The rooftop bar and dipping pools are amazing with sweeping views of the yacht harbor, ocean in distance, gondolas, etc.

The roof terrace/pool and bar area had great views over the marina definitely worth a visit.

The location was all ready walk to the sea and Gothic quarter!Quarter!!

The hotel staff were excellent, the hotel food was excellent, the hotel itself was excellent and very nice and clean, the hotel rooftop bar was an excellent touch with a great view.

This time we got room no 11 with a nice view to the harbour,

Our waterfront facing room had double pane windows so very quiet at night, even with fun loving groups walking by at all hours.

The location is convenient to Las Ramblas and within walking distance to many of the sightseeing attractions such as Gaudi’s Casa Batllo, Gaudi’s Museum next to the old Cathedral, La Pedrera and the Medieval Roman section.

I highly recommend the obvious. .Basilica of the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo (very cool!)

From the spacious rooms, to the hammocks in the extra room, to the complimentary breakfast and full-service snacks.

Breakfast was included and was really good.

The breakfast is very good and the all day/night snack and sandwich choices is very helpful to our stay.

Breakfast is included and we had eggs to order plus bacon/sausage, toast, fruit, etc every morning.

BUT what makes it an EXCEPTIONAL hotel is the level of service, professionalism, hospitality and friendliness of ALL the staff (front desk, breakfast room, etc.).

but here it’s a must and so much fun - a selection of cheese, spreads, sausages, fruit, bread, and pastries along with made-to-order eggs or pancakes - everything you need to get your day started right.

The terrace on the top floor is great - it has a really nice honor bar - the breakfast and snack situation is one of the best ever - overall great stay

The amenities of the hotel is first class, from breakfast and snacks through the day and mobile wi-fi provided to visitors, which worked very well for most of the times in Barcelona, Montserrat and Girona.

Breakfast was plentiful and great quality.

Breakfast had many things to choose from and The Honesty Bar was so convenient in the evening to sit on the terrace and relax.

There is a relaxing honor bar on the roof, breakfast beverages and 24 hours snacks are included.

The breakfast was great with both cooked and continental on offer with sandwiches, teas and coffee available all day.

The eggs are made to order, (much better than pancakes).

Delicious breakfast included, with eggs made to order.

Breakfast in the morning is its own event - complete with eggs made to order, every bread/pastry you could want, meat, cheeses, Iberico ham, fruits, yogurt, etc.

Casa Happy Camper- the staff is extremely friendly and they go out of their way to help.

but the Casa Camper whether in Berlin or Barcelona has my favorite shower of any place that I have stayed in Europe.

Casa Camper is a great hotel for lots of reasons: perfect location, comfort, style, excellent breakfast, free food all day, roof deck with bar, exercise room, pool table lounge with bar, etc., etc.

If you are visiting Barcelona, Casa Camper would be a great place to stay for a variety of reasons.

Well, we searched high and low for a good hotel in Barcelona and we were lucky to find Casa Camper.

To say I would come to Barcelona just to stay at Casa Camper would be an exaggeration,

The bar on premises is closed on Sunday's and Monday's which is a bit of a bummer

Travelers tip 2: when planning your activities in Barcelona, keep in mind that many places are closed on Sunday.

The elevators, halls and rooms feel closed.

We had the drapes closed for privacy most of the time so the room had a cave-like feel to it.

but be aware that the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday.

The area is then closed for an hour, allowing the staff to remove breakfast and ready the area for the rest of the day.

We had the "city suite," and it was huge when the sofa bed was closed.

We didn't make use of the downstairs area as it was closed during our stay -

At 11:30, breakfast closed and an extensive choice of snacks, salad, soup, and drinks were available - all at no extra cost.

but once the doors to the balconies were closed, you could not hear a thing.

Because it was a holiday, many sites and restaurants were closed.

The kids did not like the fact that the sliding door separating the bathroom and bedroom did not close fully due to the design of the hanging rail around the wall which meant the door had no lock and a very small gap was left when closed.

however our adapter kept falling out when we closed the safe door.

Unfortunately, the restaurant next door was closed 2 of the 3 nights I was there and  I did not have a reservation for the first night.

The bedroom was dead quiet and so dark that it became too easy to sleep too long.

A bit concerned because the photos showed what appeared to be a dark (red walls) & smallish room.

I would recommend an upper floor as the 1st floor is a bit dark (and I was on the 'city view' side) and noisy if you have your windows open.

Everything was dark red and black not very inviting in my own personal view.

The only thing to note about the room is that it’s a bit dark and faces the street.

If I had one nit-pick it's that the room was rather dark, and there was an area of the room that wasn't lit at all.

My husband was able to sit up and watch tv while I went off to sleep in a dark room.

but to get to hotel you had to walk about 3 blocks  down a very dark narrow street/alley.

You can make the room as bright or dark as you want with the roll down blinds.

Perhaps the most important is that there is no clock that can be read in the dark so it is impossible to know the time with the shades drawn unless you turn on your cell phone.

but very dark due to red and black decor and lack of enough natural light.

Lighting could have been better as the bedroom was a little dark.

Rooms in the A part comprise 2 parts: a bedroom with bath facing the vertical gardens (very quiet,but a bit on the dark side) and across the floor a small living area with a hammock (this side faces a small road well frequented also in the night).

At first the bedroom feels a bit dark as there are no windows,

although this view and red colour of bedroom make this place rather dark.

The main reason I could not give it 5 stars was because the room was so dark with harsh lighting and it got very little natural daylight which kind of spoilt the experience.

Great location just a few blocks from La Rambla and the market.

The location three blocks off La Rambla, very convenient.

It is conveniently located near La Rambla and other attractions.

The location of the hotel is perfect - on a quaint side street just off  La Rambla a stones throw from Plaza de Catalunya which is a main hub.

The hotel’s location was very convenient, with the Plaça de Catalunya, La Rambla, and Passeig de Gràcia all within walking distance.

Reasons to stay here:
-Location: You're a mere 5 minutes away from La Rambla, La Boqueria, and the metro.

This hotel is in a quiet street in El Raval, a two block walk to La Rambla.

Centrally located, you can walk to most major sites (La Rambla was only two blocks away), with local cafes and wonderful restaurants nearby.

The hotel is in an excellent location - just steps from La Rambla with lots of nearby restaurants, cafes and shops.

but this one was exceptional, and we enjoyed the short walk to La Rambla and all of the nearby restaurants, shops and cafes.

This hotel is in the perfect area on a very quaint, small picturesque block, near La Rambla - I can’t say enough about the staff - Milos Vlad Angelica Daniel - so helpful !!!

Perfect location, just a few minutes off La Rambla, 10 minutes walk to the Aerobus airport transfer and a perfect spot to explore all around Barcelona.

It was just a few minutes walk to La Rambla so the location was good too.

Rooms are comfortable, beds large and will ensure a good nights sleep.

The morning shift woman who checked us in (sorry I can’t recall her name) was so helpful in helping us determine what to do while we are waiting for our room to be ready.

Check in both times was really good and the second time we got our room at 10am as there happened to be a room ready.

Rooftop honor bar is awesome and I love the fact that the separate some of their hotel rooms from sitting areas so that a family can have one person napping and another watching tv

They also brought our luggage to the room despite us mentioning that we can do this on our own.

The room felt like an apartment with plenty of space.

The shower is also incredible and the room was very spacious and pleasant.

I loved that we had 2 separate rooms - 1 for sleeping with washroom and 1 across the hall for relaxing with seating area, tv and hammock !!!

New, modern, lots of amenities - plus little fun quirk (hammocks in some rooms, key card on lanyard, loooong row of hooks for hanging things on in the room, "honest bar" on the roof top where you serve yourself and just make a note to be charged).

Rooms are quiet, spacious and well maintained and stocked.

The separate sitting room allowed my insomnia-prone wife a place to watch TV and relax without bothering me.

We had a king room and it was large and well planned.

The hotel, room, and staff were all excellent.

The room we were in was much larger than many European hotels.

A unique hotel to host us where we actually experienced generosity and sincere hospitality.

The front desk staff was both helpful and gracious.

First of all the staff are super friendly and welcoming and the hotel is super calm and quiet.

The staff are all excellent and always able to assist with any request.

The staff is very helpful, and English is not an issue.
