The location of this hotel is great - walking distance to beach, on the edge of the Gothic district, close to Picasso museum, Barcelona cathedral, walking distance to La Sagrada (longer walk),  close to Metro trains and tons of shopping,  bars and restaurants.

(P.S have a wander round Barcelona Cathedral at night, we stumbled upon a fab free opera show and a gymnast performing with a hoop)

We did all the usual sights, Camp Nou, Park Guell, Sagrada Familia, Montjuic, Barcelona Cathedral,Parc de la Cuitadella and even the Zoo!

Thr rooftop bar/restaurant has good views of the port and the Gothic Quarter/El Born/Barcelona Cathedral are just behind the hotel.

It was our 2nd stay in this hotel, nice location close to the old port, beach area, La Rambla, Barcelona Cathedral & Square, very clean, stuff was very nice, breakfast was OK, very nice upper terrace !

The hotel is in a fabulous location for restaurants and attractions.

Service is 5 stars, hotel is 4.5 stars, rooftop bar 5 stars, location 6 stars.

It is well located across from the harbour, it is clean, has lovely and large rooms, had a king size comfortable bed with good pillows and nice linens, and we fully recommend it.

The hotel is in a lovely position near to Port Vell and there are many good restaurants nearby.

The location is fine with a terrific roof top bar overlooking the harbor.

The hotel is in a well maintained old heritage building, in a perfect location between the gothic quarter and the water front/beaches.

This place feels quite new from the lobby to the room.

Family room was very spacious- 2 proper beds for the children.

Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the people who cleaned the rooms were extremely polite and accommodating.

However the pools are hilariously small and any room located near the service elevator is probably pretty noisy in the morning.

But our room was small, with no view, the window overlooked an alley and had a curtain pulled shut for privacy, which made the whole room dark.

Only disappointment, was the room was a little small for the price paid - not like those pictures.

The hotel is small and only has 30 rooms.

The hotel offered a room for three adults and a fair rate (though the room was a bit small and had limited drawer/closet space.

Our room was very small and felt congested.

If you get a high room and a small tree you are set!!

The rooms are small and very dark with just a small glass door for light and you can see the man in his bed opposite in the run down apartments.

The room we had was tiny and with a view straight into the neighbours flat.

There is music late at night on the roof and noise in the street,

but we were on the first floor, which was a bit noisy from street and sidewalk traffic.

Our room was very nice even facing the busy road and could hear noise,

The only negative would be that the front rooms facing the street can be noisy, however I knew this would be the case,

There was a very narrow balcony with the only room to stand with no seeds or table there was a very narrow balcony with only room to stand with no seats or table However as I mentioned above we could not open this door at night due to the road noise.

However the double glazing blocked completely all sound from the street.

The only thing I would change is to stay on a higher floor next time (I was on the 2nd floor), as the noise from the street below me carried into my room when trying to sleep my last night.

though we overlooked a sometimes busy street we barely heard any street noise with the dual windows.

Our room was unfortunately located above that street which was very noisy at night

Although we were warned that night noise is high in Barcelona we would have wished that our room would have been more protected from street noise which never seemed to stop

We were on the second floor facing the street so it got a little noisy at times.

but the glazing meant that we couldn't hear the noise from the road at all.

If you put two suitcases on the ground then you don't have much space to walk at all. But my biggest issue was the noise from the street (Barcelona is loud everywhere!)

Lower floors I expect suffer from some street noise later as the bars stay open until the early hours

The location for us was perfect.

Ask for a sea view room as the rooms on street can be quite noisy.

.. forward facing rooms get some road noise and unless you are on the top floor, the trees obscure the views of the marina.

Nice balcony/sitting area just outside our door, overlooking the lobby and out at the moored boats.

Large clean rooms, quiet property, beautiful rooftop and wonderful views I cannot say enough good things about this Hotel and its staff.

We had drinks and dinner on the rooftop, enjoying the beautiful views of the Barcelona harbor.

The rooftop bar and dipping pools are amazing with sweeping views of the yacht harbor, ocean in distance, gondolas, etc.

The roof terrace/pool and bar area had great views over the marina definitely worth a visit.

The hotel staff were excellent, the hotel food was excellent, the hotel itself was excellent and very nice and clean, the hotel rooftop bar was an excellent touch with a great view.

Our waterfront facing room had double pane windows so very quiet at night, even with fun loving groups walking by at all hours.

The location is opposite the marina, about 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and the same to the Gothic quarter and Barcelona cathedral.

I can’t recommend this boutique hotel highly enough, the staff, the interiors, the restaurant and the location all fantastic.

It is very boutique, the hotel rooms and bathrooms are very modern, large and spacious.

We stayed at the Serras Hotel for five nights in May, and this hotel is truly what all boutique hotels should strive to be.

While we did not dine at the on-site restaurant (Rooftop) which is supposed to be fantastic, we did enjoy the roof top bar area.

Their customer service, the hotel, the rooftop bar, the restaurants, the room service and the food are 10/10.

Close to everything, the rooms are stylish, very quiet and nicely furnished.

Rooms are nice and I could relax there very well.

The room was decent size, very comfortable and the soundproofing was great.

Here check-in is a comfortable affair, seated in the light airy reception area, sipping fine cava, and enjoying a chocolate treat, The treats continued when we got to the room as it was my husbands birthday with welcome birthday cake and a bottle of Cava and a hand written note from Carla Serra.

My wife and I recently stayed here (late November) and had a fantastic experience.

It was a very positive experience for my wife and me.

As far as service, Serras Hotel was the best experience in my many years of traveling!

Interactions always went well beyond formal pleasantries to really understand, appreciate, support, and improve the experience we were having in Barcelona at large.

The whole experience was great - from the booking process, where we were contacted about special requests and asked about our visit, to the welcome we received, and the special touches which helped make our anniversary so memorable.

From the attentive and knowledgeable staff and thoughtfully appointed rooms, to the great rooftop dining experience, Serras Barcelona was one of the highlights of our trip

The Barcelona cathedral is less than 5 minutes and the market as well.

Walking distance to Barcelona cathedral and all the city has to offer.

That could be because of the quiant location just down the street from the Barcelona Cathedral.

The hotel is conveniently located, hotel staff are extremely helpful and when asked recommend restaurants for us to dine in, also made the reservations on our behalf, the hotel is clean and comfortable, lovely rooftop terrace and bar overlooking the Barcelona Cathedral, I would recommend the H10 Madison.

It's perfectly located, just down the street from the Barcelona Cathedral.

Right in the heart of the old city, a block from the Barcelona cathedral, and walking distance to an incredible variety of activities.

The surrounding area had plenty of restaurants and located one block from the Barcelona Cathedral.

My room was spacious, clean, comfortable, great A/C, rooftop pool, Cava I’m the reception area and I had a view of Barcelona Cathedral from my balcony.

Great location down the street from the Barcelona Cathedral and an easy walk to Las Ramblas.

Just about a US city block away for the Barcelona Cathedral, the H-10 Madison is an outstanding hotel with a friendly and professional staff.

What was most special is the rooftop terrace with amazing views of the Barcelona Cathedral on one end, and the Sagrada Familia on the other end.

As others have mentioned, this Hotel is a block from Barcelona Cathedral where there's lots of activity in the evenings; juggling, musicians, acrobats.

I had a view of the Barcelona Cathedral and wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel for my next visit to Barcelona.
