They assisted with booking activities for us and also with buying tickets to watch Barcelona play at camp nou!

Also, have managed to organize us excellent tickets for the game of Barca vs Espanyol in Camp Nou!

He asked repeatedly how my son enjoyed Barcelona and in patiocular the game in Camp Nou, and you really feel that he cared and was proud of his city.

Sagrada Familia, Casa Botllo, Montjuic, Camp Nou, the beach and of course the Gothic Quarter are all within walking distance or a short taxi ride.

We also had dinner at Restaurante Informal.

The restaurant is a great place for breakfast, and the Breakfast / Lunch dining manager Sandra gets a special mention - a gracious and helpful hostess, she sets the standard for great service.

While we did not dine at the on-site restaurant (Rooftop) which is supposed to be fantastic, we did enjoy the roof top bar area.

I can’t recommend this boutique hotel highly enough, the staff, the interiors, the restaurant and the location all fantastic.

The staff are attentive, polite and they provided us with great recommendations on restaurants and sites to visit.

Great location, Small, Personal, Innovattive menus and venus to eat/drink.

She was also  very helpful with giving us recommendations on restaurants   The service at the restaurant, Informal, was also very good and we enjoyed the food and great view.

Their customer service, the hotel, the rooftop bar, the restaurants, the room service and the food are 10/10.

Serras Barcelona has a fantastic rooftop restaurant with tremendous views.

The Informal restaurant was also exceptional.

The hotel itself is in a great location walking distance to lots of great restaurants, bars, shops and the waterfront.

It was a great location, great, helpful staff, great accomodations, great restaurant.

The gym was great for a workout, the terrace upstairs was convenient for a quick drink and tapas, and the breakfast was top notch.

They helped with transfers, dinner reservations and a birthday surprise.

We were especially impressed by Sandra, the restaurant manager, who went above and beyond to help when our daughter became ill. We will always remember her kindness and professionalism.

Young smart dedicated staff, like Sandra acting as the perfect host, or Carla welcoming you to the hotel, giving you directions and making sure you can eat out at the best possible restaurant.

Hats off to all of the front staff that gave us such great service and in particular Sandra in the restaurant was amazing.

Silent hotel near all artworks of Barcelona - friendly attentive staff - food and drinks from breakfast to diner were of highest quality served by professionals - room is very nice organised with efficient use of all available place.

The Rooftop Restaurant is top notch-so good that we consider it a destination itself-our meals, wine selection, and cocktails have been absolutely delicious!

The gym is small and entirely functional.

There is a small gym and roof top plunge pool ( a bit cold for that in January!).

There is also a tiny gym; essentially one treadmill and one elliptical trainer plus some minimalistic equipment.

When we got there one morning there was someone on the treadmill and as it is a very small room we struggled to fit in.

Well, the gym is tiny and as a consequence, not that well stocked.

Small gym available with treadmill, elliptical and weights to help offset too many tapas . .

Should be aware gym is very small and parking off site and a 10 minute wait.

Also has a small gym which is perfect for a little workout.

but the seating area into the room made the hotel room small for a suite.

Neither room is large enough as well, even higher categories rooms are actually very small.

I didn’t want to be in the room during the day because it’s so small.

pretentious water saving sink with no facility to hold water.could only get hot water out unless the water was left to run for ages negating the original design to save water.An expensive,small room with the only view from the window of a small alley.

Room was quite small and wasn't anything that special about it for the price to be honest or any special touches apart from bottle of bubbles and some snacks on arrival.

It allowed us to take a nap and grab a hot shower before the soccer match at Camp Nou.

Metro stops were nearby with easy and quick transport to Sagrada Familia, Montjuic, Camp Nou, etc.

Additionally, they have always helped in securing great tickets to games at the Camp Nou.

Camp Nou (home of FC Barcelona) is only a 25min train ride away.

we booked this hotel for a trip to visit Camp Nou and watch FC Barcelona play.

The bar on premises is closed on Sunday's and Monday's which is a bit of a bummer

Travelers tip 2: when planning your activities in Barcelona, keep in mind that many places are closed on Sunday.

The elevators, halls and rooms feel closed.

We had the drapes closed for privacy most of the time so the room had a cave-like feel to it.

but be aware that the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday.

The area is then closed for an hour, allowing the staff to remove breakfast and ready the area for the rest of the day.

We had the "city suite," and it was huge when the sofa bed was closed.

We didn't make use of the downstairs area as it was closed during our stay -

At 11:30, breakfast closed and an extensive choice of snacks, salad, soup, and drinks were available - all at no extra cost.

but once the doors to the balconies were closed, you could not hear a thing.

Because it was a holiday, many sites and restaurants were closed.

The kids did not like the fact that the sliding door separating the bathroom and bedroom did not close fully due to the design of the hanging rail around the wall which meant the door had no lock and a very small gap was left when closed.

however our adapter kept falling out when we closed the safe door.

Unfortunately, the restaurant next door was closed 2 of the 3 nights I was there and  I did not have a reservation for the first night.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed while we were there,

The bedroom was dead quiet and so dark that it became too easy to sleep too long.

A bit concerned because the photos showed what appeared to be a dark (red walls) & smallish room.

I would recommend an upper floor as the 1st floor is a bit dark (and I was on the 'city view' side) and noisy if you have your windows open.

Everything was dark red and black not very inviting in my own personal view.

The only thing to note about the room is that it’s a bit dark and faces the street.

If I had one nit-pick it's that the room was rather dark, and there was an area of the room that wasn't lit at all.

My husband was able to sit up and watch tv while I went off to sleep in a dark room.

but to get to hotel you had to walk about 3 blocks  down a very dark narrow street/alley.

You can make the room as bright or dark as you want with the roll down blinds.

Perhaps the most important is that there is no clock that can be read in the dark so it is impossible to know the time with the shades drawn unless you turn on your cell phone.

but very dark due to red and black decor and lack of enough natural light.

Lighting could have been better as the bedroom was a little dark.

Rooms in the A part comprise 2 parts: a bedroom with bath facing the vertical gardens (very quiet,but a bit on the dark side) and across the floor a small living area with a hammock (this side faces a small road well frequented also in the night).

At first the bedroom feels a bit dark as there are no windows,

although this view and red colour of bedroom make this place rather dark.

The main reason I could not give it 5 stars was because the room was so dark with harsh lighting and it got very little natural daylight which kind of spoilt the experience.

Reception is helpful and accommodating with tourist advice and  restaurant bookings.

Food service staff and other front desk Staff were equally helpful and warm.

The breakfast is very good and the all day/night snack and sandwich choices is very helpful to our stay.

Need directions, help with the Metro, need a taxi, where to eat, etc.

The snack bar is super generous with actual food including sandwiches, salads, fruit, hot and cold beverages, etc.

It was the first hotel I’ve stayed in that included food from 7am to 5am.

Alcohol is chargeable yet all soft drinks are free.

It is just a couple hundred yards off The Ramblas, meaning you have fast access to the gothic quarter, the market as well as hundreds of restaurants, and cafes.

There's a great rooftop honesty bar too for relaxing as well as the cocktail bar which is worth a visit.

but it is very convenient, just off the Rambla, near many tourist sites and great restaurants.

(seriously, the assortment of food and drinks was astounding) and it's all complimentary.

Breakfast choices were extensive; complimentary food & drink were available all day.

but felt close to restaurants, shops, ect.

Location, location, location just minutes away from La Rambla with easy access to shops, restaurants and transportation nearby.

The hotel has a cocktail bar with a very talented bartender in the basement.

Hot made to order breakfasts and all day yummy snacks are included - like salads, sandwiches, tiramisu, yogurt, etc.

Comfortable rooms, great staff, complimentary food and drink after 12.30pm, the roof terrace, the rain shower on the roof, the location, great chef who cooks your breakfast to order.

And camp nou is 15 mins away by metro , las ramblas etc is very well connected by.metro.

We got about very well visiting all places including  Camp Nou .

With Fira subway station close by
It is a very good location on the outskirts of Barcelona with cheap travel to La Rambla Camp Nou the Cruise Port and the Airport .

The hotel is also only a few stops away from Camp Nou.

The rooftop bar/pool was lovely - there's a great view of the city, and you can see Camp Nou and the mountains behind it, with Torre de Collserola and Tibidabo.

We used to metro everyday to get to the Gaudi cathedral, Camp Nou stadium, Olympic Park and the city.

although not bang ib centre of the gotjic quarters the metro on the doorstep is just so easy to use for all trips to the centre, camp nou and even the airport.

but the Metro stop was 5 mins walk and offered easy transport to Camp Nou (3 stops) and the City Centre and a 10 use ticket for multiple people was 10 euros.

Stayed for the Barcelona game, upgraded to a better room by Marriott rewards.Everything was very good..Security guy at night can smile a little :)

We enjoyed going to barcelona zoo, Camp Nou and the beautiful Jardins Dr Miramar where there were the most amazing cacti
The staff at the hotel were really helpful, there was a problem with our return transfer not been booked properly and the lady in reception sorted it out for us without my even having to ask her.

To complete the perfection of this hotel the rooftop bar & pool has views across the city to the Camp Nou & Sagrada Familia!

Very easy to access Camp Nou, Montserrat, Plaza Espanya, Parc Guell, Sagrada Familia, the cruise port, etc.

but close enough to airport, the racetrack, and Camp Nou, to be a good choice if you're coming in for a sporting event.

Once you get to your door, it would be best if you were a football player and you knew how to hit the door like a football tackling sled because you REALLY need to push that door with some strength!.

At least 2 of the doors did not latch as the guests entered or exited their room.

but oddly the shower and sink was in the main room (separated by a curtain from the bed area) with just the toilet closed off with a door like a cloakroom.

Meeting rooms smelled musty and smoky and the bathroom doors in the conference space were so dark and confusing.

Intentionally removed the “Do Not Disturbed “ sign so that our room will be freshened up when we come back in the evening after our day out 

However , upon our return , a “ Do Not Disturbed “ sign was hanged outside our door which was never there when we left .

Another lady comes by later and stands outside the door giving  me a bunch of towels and plastic bag of toiletries.

The room doors where hidden which made it hard to locate the room

The security guard of hotel present was inside the hotel doors and had no clue what happened so why did the hotel employed him in first place as a mannequin ? 2.

This is not a hotel that you want if you’d prefer to have the old city outside your door.

The walls and doors masking the shower are smoked or partly mirrored glass.

The doors to the bathroom are all glass so privacy could be an issue.

One odd thing, the lights are powered by placing a card in the card holder by the door,

The rooms had few technical issues (Shower door, AC..)

Room service came once when I was in the room and as soon as I opened the door she took the do not disturb sign and hung it outside for reasons I do not know.

Quite a task to open your room door as no handle and the tropical plant theme is emanated  on the corridor walls making it difficult to see where your room door is - also a very clever concept too!

Also i pointed our graffiti outside the fron door that was very vulgar and her response is “it’s not our property”.

Note: if you planning to take photo behind the elevator, make sure to hold the door because its emergency door therefore you cant open it from outside.

Very good restaurant with many different dishes.

At the Palmer restaurant on the 14th floor, we can enjoy the taste of Mediterranean cuisine with natural vegetation and panoramic views of the city.

The area is nice,  with a few great restaurants, and the commute into the city centre with the subway is cheap and quick.

There’s a great burger place across from the hotel.

The staff were friendly and the gentleman on reception really took time and care into explaining about the hotel and places to visit and best restaurants to eat at in the city.

We were very hungry and advised that the bar served food until 1 am.

We also tried out the restaurant in the hotel for dinner.

Also nice Indian restaurant recommended for tasty food.

Breakfast in the Palmer Restaurant on the 14th Level was enjoyable with a great variety of food from Iberian Ham, cold meats, hot dishes, fresh fruits, pastries, etc.

I would have also loved if the restaurant opened slightly earlier for dinner.

There is a mall across the street with several great restaurants upstairs.

Everything was fresh and delish and it kept you full until dinner.

Breakfast was provided daily with huge food item selection of excellent qualifies (they will probably have to do so considering there is very few dining selections around the hotel properties) which made my daily breakfast dining easily one of the highlights of this hotel.

We arrived early afternoon and decided to have lunch at the hotel restaurant.

While the food and the service of all the staff was great, the room was rather disappointing.

I had a great experience with everyone from the front desk, to the restaurant and housekeeping.

The hotel room doors are not intuitive on how to open; my entire hotel room was black and I walked into the black glass wall in my room so many times at night, it’s also so hard to find the bathroom in your black room at night!

There is no wall in main entrance side, except two first floors.

The long wall in my room was all glass too.

The entrance to that sanctum was concealed behind a small knob on a mirrored wall.

It was 19 degrees and wall to wall sunshine.

The rooms are unusual being all white, with a curtain around the entire bed and glass partition walls.

The rooms are stark white with projection lights that throw plant designs shadows on the walls.

The window wall of our white room has a palm leaf cutout that can be covered with a palm leaf curtain &/or a blackout curtain.

Everything was white with very little decor and a large cement wall with a window that had a long thin window that I had to stand on my tiptoes, if I wanted to see out of.

It took me a while to figure out how to lower the blinds using a wall switch.

but the window had plaster design which looked like an explosion in the wall!

though pillows nice, room furniture just an uncomfortable built in banquette along walls.

NOTE: ALL windows in guest rooms are cut into the wall in the shape of palm treetops.

The bare stark white walls were not necessarily my aesthetic

but even more white except for the wall to ceiling HUGE mirror "wall" that separates the  bedroom / lounge area from the shower room.

Further, the hallways to the rooms are partly open with glass walls, giving you a feel of openness.

The bedrooms have unusual vegetation inspiration window and other glass, a two-toned chromatic effect and shower/bath area is separated from the living area with a transparent art glass wall.

To make matters worse, one "wall" of the shower is a mirror which is somewhat see through in both ways.

The rooms are all white (no picture), the shower is surrounded by glass (see through), the toilette is in a separate cubicle, of white walls and nothing else, no shelf to leave your hygienic products, etc  There is no real bathroom, the washbasin is next to the see-through shower,

Location was so central, walked to all main attractions then 10€ taxi to camp nou and 8€ to park guell.

This hotel is beautifully presented and smells delightful upon entry, the check in was quick and efficient and the receptionist was extremely helpful giving us clear and concise instructions on the best way to get to Camp Nou on a match day, it also turned out to be significantly cheaper than our planned taxi.

The Hotel also were very kind to put a Bottle of Cava in the room for my Birthday so when we got back from watching Barcelona playing at Camp Nou it was chilled and waiting for us.

They are both very popular as is the Camp Nou.

Location perfect for trips in Barcelona, with restaurants, market, transportation.

Breakfast and dinner included in our package in the event we needed it.

The view from the rooftop bar is lovely and the food in the restaurant is delicious.

Breakfast is all you can eat and decent quality

We did half board this time, worked for us, breakfast superb, evening meal 3 courses that easily fill you up.

Friendly staff at the reception and excellent room service.

It's super close and PHENOMENAL food, ambience, etc. !

Great location in Barcelona,  near almost everything such as good restaurants and shopping.

she was able to get 12 of us a saturday night dinner resrevation on Saturday afternoon!

Our elegant 1 bedroom suite was tastefully appointed to the highest standards, along with the lobby, restaurant and bar areas.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner was of a high standard.

The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

A rooftop pool bar and restaurant is a big plus.

Marcos showed us how to make a really tasty cocktail and explained how preparing it differently would change the flavour.

The view from the top floor restaurant was lovely and the food and service were fantastic!

And in the bathroom needs to wait 5min+ for hot water.

Water damage in the bathroom, along with well worn fittings.

One tiny “free” bottle of water for 2!

Others have remarked on the (lack of) hot water in the bedrooms.

but if you are a bit late they'll be gone and not refilled.As well as coffee but there are plenty teas and hot water.

What used to be a variable tropical shower has a clogged head so the water is more like a wet weekend.

However, the walls are extremely thin that you can hear people walking past at all hours of the day, you can hear water flowing through pipes when other rooms flush the toilet/ shower, and you can hear people in the lifts as they are approaching your floor.

though again the water was cold and not pleasant.

Additionally water was only provided in room for 1 person, the shower system needed a card to explain its operation, rooms were not cleaned automatically & the lift system is complete chaos for residents.
