They put in a single camp bed like they were doing us a faviour.

Anyone considering this hotel I can 100% recommend it was an amazing holiday and hotel

This was nice as it was our first holiday away as a couple.

There is an italian and a mexican restaurant near the beach which we found to be very good.

We attended the Mexican restaurant and was impressed with the range on offer and the portion sizes.

We tried the Mexican which we could visit once in our week free of charge.

Highly recommend the Italian and Mexican restaurants near the beach, also the Turkish night.

The Mexican and the Italian are manged by the most accommodating teams of people.You can have lunch here all inclusive so relaxing and in the shade.

The food is varied and you have the chance of visits to the Italian and Mexican in the evening during your stay which is great with views over the beach and sea.., would recommend to stay and definitely will be back again first part of 2023.

At least you have Mexican Italian and Indian restorants to chose from.

The Mexican was delicious, Italian was ok and main restaurant had a wide variety of food.

The food in the Italian was also really good, especially the steak and the staff were great, as were the staff in the Mexican.

The Italian and the Mexican were really good on an evening (not very good at lunchtime).

but I recommend visiting the Italian and the Mexican restaurant.

Just had an evening meal at the Mexican restaurant which is on site (which you get a voucher for as part of your all inclusive) Moudy recommended a dish and it  was absolutely outstanding.

Restaurants at the beach (mexican and italian) also with good service. Program and animation was perhaps a little "subdued"

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, clean, good aquapark and pools,very good food, many restaurants with variable cuisines ( italian, mexican, turkish and indian) and many activities ( bicycle ranting, gym, spa, ping pong, playstation, . .)

The entertainment is, in my opinion, poor and repetitive and the advertised piano bar is just a piano that was never played in two weeks.

however the poor lifeguards spent half the day checking kids ages to see if they were allowed in, why don't you simply give every child under 12 a specific wristband, it would help the lifeguards out.

The only snack bar is now at the water slides poor bar, not sure what happened to the snack hut down the beach.

No towels provided either, which is very poor.

although some of the labelling as to what certain things were was somewhat poor or non-existent, which proved a bit of a problem for my vegetarian wife.

The choice of food compared to previous visits was also poor.

what a difference , 3 weeks in march 22 , looks in need of makeover especially  in restaurant's,  beach needs cleaning, beds look tired, staff shortages, moral not positive, waited nearly 1 hour for drinks in reception at night, animation poor  ,games on beach equipment not fit to use , nothing for 7-16yrs .food selection repetitive  ,containers faulty and sometimes not hot ,in waves restaurant, bus service stopped.

The quality of the internet connection is poor and restricted by 3 devices only for each room.

The only issue I face is the poor WiFi as it is only about 0.5 mbps/s

However very poor choice for kids!we struggled to find food for 2 year old something.

Bad points were the internet was very poor and you have to pay extra for wifi in the bedroom which I’ve never experienced before at a hotel of this standard, it’s always usually included.

The management was very poor and didn’t communicate or respond to our complaints.

The deserts are very poor in those restaurants in lunch time.

-Terrible sound insulation in the room (you can hear the footsteps of your neighbors upstairs specially at night)

- In-room entertainment is very poor and outdated (the interface is very slow to navigate through and all channels are useless) additionally, the external input to the TV screen is locked by the hotel so you can't connect a laptop or any other device even if you have all the required hardware.

We didn't like the dinner in the main restaurant was very poor

but it was honestly the quietest I've seen the restaurant in all of my stays so this was a very poor excuse.

Cant wait to visit next year again:)

(The pizza was excellent and available for lunch if you're a fussy eater).

The outside grill at the main buffet restaurant was especially good.

Food – There is a great deal of food, the variation in the food is superb.

In restaurant everybody can find food what you like it.

We loved all the a la carte restaurants and also particularly the fish themed night at the buffet.

The buffet food was good, breakfast waffles are deffo worth it!

Our room was serviced every day by a friendly cleaner for whom nothing seemed too much trouble.

Room very good, pool good enought place for everyone.

We stayed at room 2032 and had really good house keeping.

On one hand, the room was good, spacious, clean and with a good view.

Our room cleaner was a great chap who tried to help when I was ill, bless him, and all staff are an asset to the hotel.

The rooms are very clean and the staff is very helpful.

We had 3 rooms which were all kept to a high standard thanks to the brilliant house keeping.

The rooms were kept to a high standard- always fresh bottled water for you.

The room was well cleaned with two large bottles of water, tea and coffee topped up each day.

We had a deluxe pool view room with balcony which is spacious again no complaints and our cleaner was a lovely person doing a great job.

Second visit to this hotel, enjoying our time here immensely, staff are fabulous can't do enough for you, our room cleaned to high standard, room 4034, fabulous views of the sea and pool, restaurant staff brilliant very attentive, animation staff great and really friendly, will be returning.

Special thanks to the ladies at guest relation, Mina and Saad in Palm Restaurant, Hanna in Sky Bar, the cleaner of room 4018 which is a highly recommended room, all the chefs for the varied and always delicious meals and the people keeping the gardens beautiful and the wonderful pool area clean.

They always say 1st impressions make lasting memories, as soon as we walked into our room we both just said Wow!!!!!

I have been here for 6 times and I love this hotel so much , food is very good , the room is so clean and the view is amazing and finally the animation team they are amazing especially Marvel , he is so funny and friendly , Tropitel is highly recommended.

The hotel and rooms are very clean and kept up to great standard.

Entertaiment group professions and friendly, nice night shows.

There is a lovely stage near the dining area to entertain whilst dining.

but the first night my daughter and I went on stage and had a great night.

Animation team were very friendly and professional.

Our favourite animation team ensured yet again we had the best stay, they work so hard from early morning to late late late, trying to ensure all guests have fab time.

During the day round the pool the Animation staff alway stop and say hello and get you involved in the games they play so a big thank you to Lucy and the others on the team for keeping us entertained day and night.

Amazing service, staff friendly and helpful, entertainment team incredible especially Lucy.

There is plenty of entertainment put on day and night by the team to suit all, games, aqua aerobics, yoga, nightly shows and the Sky Lounge for all you groovy people.

All the staff from reception, bar, entertainment and room service are excellent always friendly and nothing is too much trouble and always welcoming.

Second stay here and it’s just a great as first time, the entertainment staff are lovely, not too pushy and if you want to partake you can and if you don’t it’s no problem.

The restaurants, public toilets, pool areas, and the beaches were constantly being swept, tidied, litter-picked, checked, and wiped, by a small army of friendly staff.

The staff are absolutely a credit to the hotel.

The surroundings, the staff, the food, the facilities were all beyond anything we could have imagined.

Allah at the pool bar is fantastic, friendly and really hardworking .

We had to contact reception for a few matters and they always seemed to try their best.

I really have mention that they have very good guest relations and great staff at reception

Family rooms are spacious with proper single beds for the children (not sofa or camp beds) and the mattresses/pillows are comfortable.

We went with TUI on the day/might trip and went to the Camp Nou, the Spanish village the sagrada familia which was amazing and topped off by the amazing fountain show.

We also went to Barcelona for the day and done the Nou camp stadium tour. .

we did a day trip to Barcelona and nou camp which was enjoyable and was something different!

After the Nou Camp and sightseeing we finished up at the Magic Fountains which again we would strongly recommend.

nou camp and barcelona zoo is a must the zoo is fab.

As a group of lads that love football, they were able to sort out a trip for us to go to the Nou Camp (approx 2hrs coach trip from Salou) to watch Barcelona play Celtic which was the highlight of the trip.

Although we had this the actual hotel was a good base camp for going to the park and to the beach.

It was a camp bed I was sleeping in, my kids were fine and they had the main beds.

Also extra bed was like a camp bed with big metal bars at the top which were extremely uncomfortable.

Room quite dusty around room / behind doors, beds not made to same standard

As this was the case the glass doors at the entrance to the pool grounds were open and there was some patio furniture right on the other side of the glass doors so we chose to sit there for a few minutes.

Just a suggestion, could there be 1 member of staff who hangs around at 9am after the doors are opened and anyone they see putting towels on sunbeds and immediately going for breakfast tell them that its not allowed and if they dont listen put their towel in a basket.

There were also not enough sunbeds and parasols for everyone, which meant it was complete chaos when the doors eventually opened.

There are nowhere near enough sun loungers and even less parasols, it was like a Black Friday sale when the doors  to the pool were opened.

There aren’t enough beds to guest ratio so people line up in reception from around 8am and then the doors open at 9am.

One tip I’d give is to be prepared for sunbed stampede- the doors open at 9 and there is a mad rush for sunbeds!!

People queue up in the morning for the sunbeds as the doors are locked and the pool gets very busy and loud during the day.

but not if want play water polo there not allowed also massive q for sun beds in morning door open at 9 people q since 8.30 another thing evening entertainment for kids start at 9.30 even do all kids outside running up down since after dinner 8.30 that goes on time 10 them adults shows come on till well after 11 noise racket if bedroom which my one was so close to stage you could not sleep very difficult for families with young baby's so think need up there game with activities for kids .

The food is unreal, I got a sneak peak behind scenes of kitchen whilst door was ajar the kitchen looks like a laboratory,  so clean.

When another room closed their door, my headboard would shake.

The noise (and the real let down of the hotel) from 7:00/7:30AM was absolutely unbelievable though, slamming doors continued all day, running and screaming kids in the corridors, banging of chairs/wardrobes and noise through the walls was insane.

You can hear every door slam, every person walking down the corridors, midnight and kids are running up and down the halls, quite a noisy hotel in general, slept with ear plugs in.

These can fit maybe 3-4 people, 5 if you're lucky (that's without suitcases) and take forever, partly because there's no door close

Then the other noise began, people banging doors and shouting on the corridors.

I was shocked at how they could just come through the door without knocking and it felt as

I’d advise leaving the “do not disturb” on the door, as room service arrived at 08:45, so no chance of a lie in!!

but expected has people wanted spaces by pool maybe let few people out at time has I found being at front of line did you no justice has once doors open people run from the back past you, which was annoying, but this wouldn’t stop me from returning.

As for trying to get a sunbed the situation is beyond belief and needs some urgent attention   with people queing up from 8.00 am ( doors open at 9.00 pm ) , we would normally go down  about 8.50 and were always at the back of a long queue usually going out of the hotel entrance onto the steps.

The morning race for the loungers and umbrellas is a pain, basically you end up queuing at around 8:15 (any later and good luck getting anything) and then when the door opens it is an elbows out race to grab what you can.

Entertainment was fab, we are family of 2+2 (8 and 14) and they loved it, the girl who does kids entertainment is outstanding - great energy!

She is amazing with everyone especially the Elderly and children.

My wife and I booked a 4 night break for a last munite get away with our 2 grown up sons.

Charlie was brilliant and my son followed him everywhere.

I stayed for a week half board with my daughter.

The restaurant has a good variety of decent food even for kids.

The other pool was a children's pool in the same area and so the same comments apply.

We even enjoyed the mini disco and baby shark songs!

but our son did take part in the water polo and volleyball a couple of times and really enjoyed it.

My daughter and her friends stayed in your hotel.

Approx £35 return for 2 adults and 2 kids.

They took the time to get to know our children and would come looking for our eldest to join in with the activities.

Our children loved the pick and mix each evening and I was able to take apples out for snacks during the day.

We went as a large group 6 Adults 2 Children (9 & 2).

The hotel is wicked we now will return with the kids in August.

The other toaster is terrible, 4 times for the bread to toast is too long and leads to queues.

the toasters need disposing of, you have to put your toast in 4 times to create toast or its still just bread, as you can imagine this creates a big queue.

In the morning queuing for coffee machine can be a pain due to lengthy queues depending on the time and small cups don't help we ended up having to get 2 at a time.

We usually ate around 8.00pm and did not have  to queue for long for the evening dinner and food was replenished frequently.

but not enough parasols, pool doesn't open till 9am people start queueing form 7/7 30am then it's was a mad dash for parasols with the odd few appearing at almost 9 to make the dash was quite annoying, in 30 years this was my first experience of the queueing business i will doing better research in future.

but when others in the queue confirmed that I did, he insisted I paid for it again!

Sunbed situation not too bad, we never queued, was busy

You have to queue in reception for sun-loungers before the pool opens at 9am.

The pool 1st thing in the morning did have a Queue for getting Sunbeds and I found this quite amusing while having breakfast, we never went to the pool in the mornings opting to do other activities

but I will be back to this hotel 
For anyone that is going to this hotel if u have anyone with disabilities and u are going to PortAventura please bring doctor letters and ID to the park so u can get the disability fast pass to all the rides if u don’t have this you will be refused it when u go up to queuing in the line at the disability desk just a bit of extra advice

There was a queue for sun loungers before the pool opened at 9am and it was the usual story of people reserving sun loungers and not using them for some time after.

Inside seating area not very comfortable at all and lack of staff on the bar at night made queues very long waiting for a drink.

Unless you are queueing for at least an hour before the pool opens at 9am you will not be guaranteed a parasol.

People queueing for dessert and once you get there things had run out - not what you want on holiday!

The only thing I would fault is that there are not enough sun parasols, which led to huge ques from 8 am and a dash to get an umbrella

Entertainment staff were brilliant and very friendly!

We had read some bad reviews about the food and large queues in the restaurant,

Unless you don’t get a fast pass, then you will queue all day to go on two rides.

but at busy times it was a bit hectic and queues to get into restaurant.

The management will just say that there is no need to queue,

Food options were good, typical buffet style.

Breakfast had a large range of hot/cold food.

Excellent venue, great location, food was good at times.

Few newer restaurant staff on 2nd yr who weren’t as customer focussed

Whilst on holiday not everyone has a well planned itinerary to know where they will be the following day or days to swap their meals!

Food was great and a fantastic variety all the time.

Overall we found the food to be good, there is some variety each day

Lots of positives about this hotel, location cleanliness and staff, the food was okay

The restaurant staff were also very helpful.

Each evening there was a choice of chicken, fish, pasta, meat, soup, salad, vegetables, sea food and chips so everyone taste was accommodated for.

We didn’t go to entertainment so can’t comment
We were half board and food was very good.

From the moment we arrived to the last goodbye this hotel was 100%.. Staff happy, friendly nothing was any bother.. food was catered for all tastes even those that forget they are on holiday in a foreign country lol.. 😉 Only issue and to be honest it's not really an issue is its a long way t walk if ya love the beach.. the going there is OK
